In such desperate times the city states of the lucario will hold a special sacrifice called the \"Nat'al Eshar\" or \"Drink of the Gods\" in the modern tongue.\n\nIt is the belief of the Lucario that all things in nature are under the direct control of the gods. And in cases of drought it is obvious to the populace that the gods of the waters, be they rain, oasis or ocean are angry. And only through the sacrifice of a young boy purchased either from the slave markets or bought directly from his own family will appease the gods. But no simple bloodletting sacrifice is this. For blood does not please the gods of the waters and only through the Nat'al Eshar, the sacrificial drowning of a young healthy boy, will the gods be pleased.\n\nFor the sacrifice water is drawn from the wells of the temples by the priests who bless the cool liquid before slowly pouring each bowl into an empty pool within a courtyard of the temple until it is filled. A process that can take many hours. Once this is done a guard will enter with the chosen sacrifice who has been stripped bare for the ritual.
