"description": "The guards will stand watch over the \"Tia'ka\" (\"Strangle box\") watching as the doomed slave boy's feet kick until they begin to slow down and fall still save for the occasional twitch or spasm. This is a sign that the condemned slave boy within has fallen unconscious due to the lack of air caused by the tightened noose around the boy's neck. When this finally occurs a period of time known as \"Vrota\" (\"The Wait\") begins. The guards will stay nearby the box keeping an eye on the boy's twitches to ensure that the execution reaches fulfillment. \n\nDuring the \"Vrota\" the guards will never open the door of the \"Tia'ka\" so as to give the dying boy his privacy as he spends his final moments before death twitching in an unconscious state. The guards will observe the boy's feet hanging below the box to judge when the boy has ceased to exist. \n\nOnce the feet have fallen still and all twitching has ceased permanently it is standard procedure for the guards to leave the condemned slave boys dangling inside the box for up to a few hours or even an entire day after all movement has ceased.
