  "description": "Each temple boy is given to the temples at birth, selected from the first born sons of each noble family of the higher castes and raised by the priests their whole lives for this moment. From the moment they arrive at the temples as newborns the priests begin a long process of rearing and indoctrination. Educating each boy about the gods and the important and final role they must all fulfill once they reach around the ages of thirteen and fourteen.\n\nAt these isolated walled off temples the selected boys are completely cut off from the outside world and never even allowed to look over its walls to the world beyond, least its impurities pollute them. So complete is their isolation that most boys do not know of even the existence of females of their species or of other basic truths.\n\nThey are taught the stories of the gods and how to pray to them properly. They are also taught the art of dancing and music. Their diets are strictly regulated and monitored by the priests as well as other temple workers and they are made to exercise regularly so has to keep their bodies fit and pure for the gods. The boys are dressed in the finest of silks and they know nothing of work or hardship. Spending their days in utter bliss in preparation for the day they are sacrificed so that they can go on to entertain the gods in their lunar palaces with all that they were taught in the temples, from singing to dancing, and the playing of instruments as well as the carnal arts.\n  \nWhen that day finally comes, and the boys are brought out from the temples to the outside world for the first time their reactions vary from individual to individual as they stand naked before the brazen bulls that shall usher them to the realm of the gods. Most willingly accept their fate, even gladly accept it. Impatient to begin their trip to the gods. Others are less willing to give up all they knew or for whatever reason begin to suspect the priests that have raised them their whole lives of speaking falsehoods. Either way the boys are always drugged and placed into the bulls to begin their ascension to the homes of the gods.
