Did you know there are some cultures within the animal kingdom
that revolve not only marking your territory in the form of surroundings,
but also doing so to one's chosen mate to ward off those who would
otherwise seek to hone in on them like a person without a ring?
Though when it comes to rings, how well it's known even they offer
little protection against those with particularly self-indulgent fantasies...

that matter, yet already claimed before having a chance to be on
the market for those with high hopes of such a flawless candidate,
one who quivers and begins oozing so thickly upon the mere idea
of mating it's as if honey heat to perfection never ceases from within.
Sera's as fertile as they come, and while her father's mark is strong
enough to deter those who approach, containing the scent of not
only his own vitality but whiffs of the many powerful females of his harem
he's laid claim to, so too is her scent enough to attract suitors by the packs,
only to find her juice not worth the squeeze as they're hit with rejection
by both herself and the man she's sworn herself to.
Few men are foolish enough to tread near the treasure of a dragon, and
though her honey is worth her weight in gold, it's not worth the burn.
For those who do ignore the mark of her father and tread closer, Sera
quickly turns from smug to vengeful, for nothing sets off her rage greater
than when her father is disrespected in any shape or form, in the end
leaving those hoping to score wishing they'd gone against her father
himself after the pain inflicted.
To know she carries his mark, and ignore it thinking yourself better, is
the greatest way to spit in his face in her mind, and any willing to do so
deserves the air in their lungs used as fuel for her flames, for while she'll
gladly put her father's "stick" in her maw, yours will taste the fiery end
of a much different stick she totes.
