... Not that these punks wait until the weekend to be mall rats. The little punks can be found hogging the bench in the food court pretty much all the time, but its only on the weekend that they can consistently get together! Rena and Gatomon work in the Hot Topic in the mall, after all, so they can often sneak off to meet up on their lunch break. Impmon technically works in the mall, too... As much as being a weed dealer can be considered a job. Flamedramon likes to say he's a model... which is code for him being a camwhore for tips and *sometimes* getting legit modelling gigs. And Guilmon... ... Nobody's quite sure where he gets his cash from. But he always has enough for pizza! And besides, they do sometimes have a digital world to save...
So here's the gang hanging out in the mall, shortly before the mall cop throws them out for loitering, disturbing the other customers, and... good lord that's a penis! Well, Rena, if you WILL tease your eagerly excited boyfriend while on your phone... Don't worry, he has to let Rena and Gato back in for their next shift, and Impmon will smooth things over for the others before too long.

Another piece in my Shopping Mall Tamer series - my weird, personal what-if of "what if the Digi-Destined were actually in late 90's/early 2000's California instead of Japan?" Why? Why not! For some reason this concept really resonated with me and I've come up with a dumb amount of lore for them, so I had to get another pic commed of them as a quick peek into the weird, overly complicated polycule that is the Shopping Mall Tamers! ... This is mainly for me more than anything else but hey, I thought i'd upload it anyway. Because hey, if I can't write weird AU fan fiction about cartoon characters from my childhood that modifies their personalities to basically be OCs at this point, am I really a child of the 90's?
So... Ahem... *professor voice* As we can see, Gatomon is the Queen Bee of this group, keeping everyone else in line. She's... well, asexual isn't quite the right word. She's not.. sex motivated, shall we say. But she DOES get off on making others submit to her and do what she says, and as the only Champion level digimon among these dweebs, she's more than able to put them in their place if needed. Much like a cat, she's chill and happy to sleep and demand cuddles most of the time... but she likes to play with her prey. It helps that so many of her "pets" get off on being humiliated in front of the others. She's also the assistant manager at the local Hot Topic.
Renamon is her official Girlfriend, second in command, co-worker at Hot Topic, and favourite scratching post. She's the Gretchen Wieners to her Regina George, confident and bossy to everyone... except Gatomon. She's big into kickboxing, as well as skateboarding... aaaaand secretly, reading and writing fanfics on Archive of Our Own. Well, she *thinks* its a secret, anyway. Not like Gatmon hasn't humiliated her by reading them out while making Renamon kiss her feet ;3 She's crushing hard on the kittycat, as well as Impmon and Guilmon... not that she'd let either of the idiot boys know it. Guilmon is more of a traditional, mutual respect boyfriend - her Facebook even says so! - while Impmon and her have more of a, uh. Rivalry, shall we say.
Impmon is the tough guy of the group! In his head he's a super macho gangster... in reality he's a bit of a dweeb who deals weed in the local mall. But hey, it makes money for the household! The little guy has spunk, its true, and tries to act like the man of the house... bossing around and bullying the rest of the gang, acting like he's a big dommy guy. For Flamedramon, it actually works, most of the time - mainly because Flamey has a bit of a crush on him and likes to encourage the small dom. For Renamon she bullies back, and gives about as good as she gives... and for Guilmon, well, it kinda goes over his head a lot of the time. And its hard to bully a guy big enough to sit on you and keep you pinned, and dumb enough not to notice for 5 minutes. The only one he doesn't try it with is Gatomon... Gatomon has her wrapped around her finger, and delights in making him squirm and blush. And he hates how much he likes it! He has soft moments too, but never likes to admit it.
Flamedramon is, well, flaming. Sterotypical gay and proud California boy, and unashamed to say it. Very much "you go, girl!" energy, and more than happy to publicly and proudly talk about his two boyfriends, Guilmon and Impmon. He tries to make money as a male model... but, well, demand isn't that high, and he's kinda slutty anyway, so the kind of modelling gigs he does tend to be less "front page of vogue" and more "two page porno mag spreads". Not that he minds either way... Impmon is his daddy dom and he loves him for it, and as for Guilmon... well, who can't love that big lug? He's also proudly the gay best friend of Gatomon, and more than happy to model harnesses for her (or be her chair when she's doing her livestream Q&As...)
Guilmon is... well, Guilmon. Happy go lucky, he's always got a smile on his face, and usually a slice of pizza in his hand. Pizza! Its like, bread, but with cheese. So even better bread! He's never happier than when he's got a full belly and is hanging out with his buddies. Especially his girlfriend Rena, and his boyfriend Flamedramon! ... Thats like, double best friends, right? He's a big lug, and a bit of a jock - got that wrassler's body with his bog strong arms and tubby tummy. The others have.. very lewd thoughts about him, and he's more than happy to go along with it - its fun! - but given the choice his favourite thing to do with his lovers... is cuddle!

This has actually been done for a LOOOONG time, but i've been trying to hold off posting it until Zap was able to post it himself. However, Zap has been real busy posting his Rivet Comic for his Patrons and hasn't been able to get through their backlog, so I asked and they gave me permission to upload this ahead of schedule.
