I wrote it in an attempt to veer away from the normal \"just sex\" stories, and tried to take an angle on incest that made for a romance rather than a romp.\n\nThis story features, as I said, an incest relationship between a Plusle and a Minun, two characters of mine, named Glint and Spark.\n\nOther themes in this story follow along hyper-endowment. However the sexuality of it all is hardly hinted at. What we have here is more of a focus on what would happen if two young lovers, bonded in a most astounding way, were separated and forced to live apart due to social norms and conformity.\n\nI really hope you enjoy reading it!\n\nI posted the full three chapters here, and it's a doozy of a read if you're gonna go through start to finish!\n\nI've used acii writing for their Poketch messages too, but had to take it out because it didn't look as good in the browser as it did in the actual word document. "writing": "Love Polarity – Your World and Mine\nBy MilkJunkie ( http://www.furaffinity.net/user/milkjunkie )\n\n“Alright everyone, take your positions!”\n\nAs the whistle blew, young Pokémon in nice t-shirts and shorts scrambled to take their positions on the large outdoor soccer field sported by the Pokemon Daycare Center. It was a warm and sunny day with a gentle breeze, absolutely perfect for outdoor sports or a tussle in the grass. The sky was as clear and blue as the sea, and the clouds drifting by like cotton candy gave the brightly shining sun a wide gait. The breeze the clouds drifted upon made sure the sun didn’t shine too temperately, caressing those who basked in the beautiful light with the occasional cool embrace to keep them going.\n\nIt was all being enjoyed thoroughly by a class situated in one of the multiple Pokémon Daycare Centers throughout the region. It was one class of many, composed of orphans, and the employed teacher who supervised them whilst out on the field. Indeed, since the days of old, Pokémon Daycares had evolved from simply taking in Pokémon and raising them, to acting more as a full-blown orphanage. They had grown from small buildings into giant complexes that rivalled private schools for the wealthy, including many facilities and things such as the soccer field the particular class was getting use of.\n\nThe young Pokémon were of all sorts of types, but were all very young. The Orphans were all somewhere in their early teens, and most of the other classes were even younger. The Daycare only raised those who had no family to do so, and only did so until they were old enough to work and support themselves – or ultimately get adopted before that time, and move in with a new, loving family.\n\n“G-Glint, stop it…”\n\nAs all the young Pokémon took to the field, a young Minun dragged himself out there as well. ‘Dragged’ being the appropriate term, as he was literally forced to do so by the Plusle that was firmly pulled up against his side and deliberately attempting to hinder his progress.\n\n“Nu-uh, I’m not stopping.”\n\nThe two looked so similar; one would assume they were twins. If one assumed that, one would be correct in the assumption. The Minun, with his blue-tipped tail and ears, and the blue circles on his cheeks that were cross-sectioned in half by the pale yellow fur that covered his body was related to the Plusle who was trying to drag him off the field as badly as he was trying to drag himself onto it. The differences between them were obvious, since the Plusle’s colours were naturally red instead of blue, and her cheeks were cross-sectioned twice to make pale yellow cross marks over the red circles on her cheeks. And of course, their tails were also different due to their difference in species. The Minun’s tail ended in a rectangular block tip, and the Plusle’s ended in a cross-shaped block – coloured blue and red, respectively.\n\nThey both played on their colourations as well. The Minun wore clothing in varying shades of blue and cyan, and the Plusle wore things that were varying shades of red or pink.\n\nGlint, the Plusle, puckered up her lips and leaned in close, trying to plant hot little kisses on her brother’s cheek, her large, rounded bust pushing against the Minun’s arm. “Kisses for Sparky~!”\n\n“Stop that, d-don’t do stuff like that here.” Spark, the Minun said meekly.\n\nEveryone was in their positions but the twins, and Spark’s brown eyes soaked in everyone else’s lingering gaze, as if they were all staring daggers into him, just waiting for him and his sister to get into their places. Spark swallowed a lump in his throat, knowing that he was going to get in trouble for goofing around.\n\n“Stuff like whaaat?” Glint responded with a cat-like grin as she pushed in tighter against Spark’s side and rubbed her body against him. “Like this?”\n\nSpark almost went pale as his sister rubbed up against him. The feeling of her large breasts pushing against his arm was too much, and the fact that her nipples were pushing firmly through the sports bra he knew she wore under her red t-shirt didn’t help either. He could practically feel his heartbeat in his groin as he started to get all excited. He almost looked as if he was going to scream at her, but absolutely no sounds above incoherent squeaks left his strained vocals.\n\nFinally getting too impatient, the teacher blew her whistle again. She was a rather large Kangaskahn. “Spark! Glint! What are you two doing? Stop goofing around and take your positions!” She shouted her voice rather low and booming.\n\nSpark squeaked, clearly intimidated, but Glint just gave the teacher a sort of ‘oops, my bad’ look, gave her perky rump a wiggle, and pried herself off of Spark’s arm. “Sooorry teacher~”\n\nThen taking Spark’s hand, she practically skipped along the field, dragging her poor brother in tow.\nNobody knew about the twins. Well, of course they KNEW about them… Glint and Spark were rather popular around the center. Most of this was due to them being extremely attractive.\n\nAt thirteen years of age, the boys and girls around the twins were starting to notice the lovely things about one another’s bodies, and getting very curious about it. Glint and Spark in particular had grown into puberty exceptionally well – better than any thirteen year old would ever hope to achieve… if they actually thought about things like that. The two were officially over-developed for their age, as their medical files at the center say. Nobody knows quite how it happened, but the evidence was there.\n\nGlint in particular showed it very well. The last measurements that she had taken during the monthly examinations made by the nurse showed that her bust had grown an inch in that time, and that her hips and rear had shown about half as much development. This surprised everyone on the medical staff, since just the month before Glint had been recorded to have been bordering on the very cusp of the higher end of a ‘double D.’ That month she had pushed just into the next letter of the alphabet, shocking the nurses who had been tracking her since she was in diapers.\n\nSpark didn’t show it as well, and it was obvious that was due to his gender. He didn’t have breasts to show for his development, but his attitude had certainly changed when he hit twelve years old. It was early, but he was looking at girls in a different light by that time, and would often get visibly nervous or stressed when a particularly pretty girl would talk to him. He gained a slightly more mature look sooner than the rest of his age group, making him strangely attractive to the females of the group. Of course, his measurements weren’t taken in physical examination… but if they had been, the staff would have surely considered that there was something in the water those two drank. Spark was equally as over-endowed a thirteen-year-old as his sister, measuring in at around nine inches in length, and a healthy girth.\n\nTheir looks kept them well in the sights of the other young Pokemon, and even some that were slightly older. But they couldn’t be watched forever, and that was exactly the reason that people just didn’t know about how close the two really were.\n\nAs Spark took his position out on the field, the watch he wore on his wrist beeped. His ears perked up as his eyes fell to the wrist-mounted device. It was somewhat larger than your average wrist-watch, and had a flat, green screen that often showed digitalized numbers and pictures. It was the new-aged version of something called a “Pokétch.” He and Glint shared a matching pair, having saved up all sorts of money over three summers to get them. With all the applications on them, the two could not only tell the time, but could communicate with one another, and even track one another no matter where they were.\n\nThere was a message on Spark’s watch that read:\n\n\"rdy?\"\n\nSpark looked up and across the field to his sister, who gave him a thumbs up. He returned it with a slightly nervous smile. Glint was always so confident and perky, whereas Spark was worrisome and reserved. It had come to them with puberty really. Glint was so instilled with confidence over her body when she grew into it that it was as if nothing could stop her. Spark had been teased by the other boys after an inopportune showing of his genitals for being freakishly large, making the Minun more hesitant about himself.\n\nBut when it came down to it, it wasn’t all about busts and bulges, because with Glint’s encouragement and Spark’s sweet company, the two were able to function perfectly well in their own little world, ignoring the thoughts of them being over-sexed, if even just for short periods of time.\n\nAnd that’s why nobody else could see it. Out there on the field, those two played the best left and right midfielders that the center had ever seen. They were perfectly in sync with one another, able to match each other in position, and move one step ahead of the other. When Glint was going to pass the ball, Spark knew it would move into position to be passed to from whomever he thought she’d pass the ball to. There were no signs between them, no gestures, and no glances, just a complete ability to reflect each other’s thoughts and actions, and adjust accordingly. Since they were on opposite sides of the field, playing together was difficult, but if one watched them long enough, it was easy to tell that they were like two peas in a pod, two links in a chain. They were “like that.”\n\nThe game lasted somewhere into two hours, Glint having scored one goal in a friendly game where her and Spark’s team won 3-2.\n\nWhen all was said and done, what little equipment there had been was put away and dragged back inside. It was late in the afternoon, so classes were over for the young Pokemon and they were to retire to their rooms until dinner was prepared. Dinner was normally prepared every night at the same time, and took hours to make, what with the entire center’s residents all eating at the same time in one large cafeteria. That being said, the young ones had some time to kill.\n\nGlint was all over Spark again when they made their way inside, the last ones to do so since they took their time, and weren’t all that interested in returning with the crowd. The Plusle slumped and pushed against the Minun, who pushed back as they walked, laughing and going on like average, every-day kids would about the game they had just played. Both of them were warm, a little worn from the game, and in need of a shower.\n\n“Why didn’t you let me give you a big kiss?” Glint suddenly asked, tilting her head in a playfully quizzical manner.\n\nSpark answered the same way he always did, “Because you know we shouldn’t do stuff like that in front of everyone.”\n\n“Even if it’s just a little kiss on the cheek?” Glint bat her lashes and leaned against her brother’s side. The Minun just huffed and pushed her away.\n\n“You wouldn’t stop there!” Spark said, and Glint knew he was probably right.\n\nThinking fast, Glint jumped in front of Spark not ten feet from the doors leading inside the dorm building. Spark stopped and looked at her, and she shot him a playful look back. He tried to get around her, but she leaned and stepped with him to get in his way, and trying to go the other way around her simply resulted in the same. They played a little back-and-forth game of cat and mouse, with sister blocking brother from going anywhere. Glint’s tail was aflutter with playful mirth, while Spark’s was stiffened in annoyance.\n\n“Well then kiss me now!” Glint said as she stood in front of her brother, poking a finger in against his firm chest and giving him a push, which caused the unprepared Minun to stumble backward.\n\n“What? No!” Spark said, smacking her hand away.\n\nGlint pouted, “But you love me don’t you?”\n\nImmediately feeling remorseful for denying her so out-right, Spark blushed. “Well yeah, but…”\n\n“Well then do it!” Glint exclaimed, taking a step towards Spark.\n\nThe Minun took the chance to swing around her, but she was hot on his tail, and they basically flip-sided and took one another’s position. Glint leaned in close and advanced on her brother, resting her hands on his shoulders and holding him firmly so that he couldn’t get away. Nervously, Spark stepped back, almost tripping a couple of times.\n\n“No! Wait until we get to our room!” Spark said firmly.\n\n“But I want one noooow~” Glint whined playfully, marching towards Spark and keeping him moving.\n“No!”\n\n“Do it!”\n\n“I don’t wanna!”\n\n“Don’t be mean~”\n\n“I’m not being mean!”\n\nGlint forced Spark backwards until they had missed the doors inside, and slipped into a small alley, almost like an alcove, between two of the buildings. Spark noticed that he was suddenly swallowed in shade, and that there were walls on either side of him, and behind him. His heart pounded, and looking forwards, his sister’s eyes seemed to catch whatever light was in the alley and just suck it up. They glowed like a predator’s. Spark gulped and stepped back away from his sister, who lurked towards him with a grin, knowing she had him. It was when his back hit the wall that he knew he was caught.\n\nGlint pushed in with her chest, using her over-large bosoms to push a hefty weight into Spark’s chest. From her slightly bent-over position, she stood up straight, which dragged her body slooowly up against his, her breasts rubbing beautifully up his chest to be level with Spark’s pecks. In a fluid motion, her hands caught his as he tried to protest, and she entwined her fingers between his own and brought his hands back down. With their bodies pushed together, they both stopped, able to feel each other’s heartbeat against their chests, and just stared into their level eyes. The moment of fear and playfulness washed out like the cool breeze just picked it up and swept it away.\n\nTime slowed, and they were caught in the silence of each other. Then Glint pressed her lips against her brother’s. She was met with no resistance.\n\nThe two of them melded together like nature simply intended for them to be that way. They both relaxed, their ears wilting against their heads. Their breathing slowed, but their hearts were still pounding. They held each other’s hands tightly, yet gently, and pressed together in need, yet embraced each other with love. Their lips had met and didn’t part, locked together in a deep and loving display of affection.\n\nThey hardly made a sound, and as their kiss continued, their bodies became warmer. It was what no one knew of. The closeness they felt to each other right at that very moment enthralled them and became their lives, and was as such whenever possible and out of the prying eye of the public. They were as close as close could be, and felt so as one with each other that it seemed all too natural to them. Brother and sister loved one another like a man would a woman, as if their relation mattered very little, if at all.\n\nGlint’s lips left Spark’s only to drift downward and kiss where his neck met his shoulder. Spark’s young, fit body trembled, and he let out an excited, hot panting as his sister’s soft hands moved from their entanglement with his own, and instead to his blue shorts. The Plusle could sense all too well her brother’s excitement, and it fuelled her. She felt more passionate the more worked up Spark got, and slowly trailed kisses down his front-side as she lowered her body to kneel before him.\n\nIt wasn’t that their relation to one another didn’t matter. That was actually very far from the truth. Glint and Spark were obviously a different species, assumed to have had two separate fathers, and shared one mother. They were born at the same moment, and had been said to have awoken into the world already embracing one another.\n\nIf nothing else, their relation made everything feel so much stronger. No one understood one of them as much as the other did. No one knew how they felt, how they thought, how they acted nearly as well as they knew it. There were no secrets between them, no strife they couldn’t overcome together… the only thing between them was love with the intensity of a bond between two who shared as much as only twins could share.\n\nIt was hard to tell when and where that love had blossomed into something so much more than the norm. But since that very second, it had grown to heights unfathomable to most.\n\nGlint eyed the bulge at her brother’s groin with a half-lidded sort of affection, and Spark only watched as his sister smoothed her hand out over the fabric, over the pulsating erection that lay beneath, and panted in his excitement. Glint was agonizingly slow; taking her time to admire her brother’s most intimate of areas. The size of it, the warmth of it, and the way it felt against her hand… \n\nShe felt so small whenever she touched it. The feeling never changed since the first time. Spark seemed like so much more to her since they opened up and surrendered their bodies to one another.\n\nShe moved on to pull his shorts down, finding that he was wearing his usual faded sky blue boxers. They were a bit snug on him due to his size, but she made him plenty comfortable by tugging those down out of the way as well, and letting his magnificent pink-fleshed manhood spring up into the open air. And it wasn’t long after it was freed that Glint curled her fingers around it and gave a few gentle pumps.\n\nSpark panted a little harder. He was excited and worried all at the same time, which only served to make the situation that much more arousing. They could have been found by any passer-by, and they could end up seeing Spark enjoying his sister’s mouth. But Glint hardly seemed to care, and seeing this put Spark at ease, even if it was probably foolish to be so. His sister’s confidence was contagious, and it did the Minun well.\n\nThe admiration ended promptly between the two at Glint’s discretion, where she got too impatient staring at her brother’s beautiful cock to hold back any longer. She positioned his length straight out towards her, parted her lovely soft lips, and leaned in to take him inside smoothly and flawlessly. She’d had practice pleasuring her brother this way many, many times before. His girth wasn’t at all uncomfortable, and his length was becoming more and more manageable by the day. Glint’s eyes lidded over in delight over the succulent morsel between her lips, and she immediately started a gentle pace of bobbing her head, her tongue working over the few inches it could reach.\n\nSpark loved it when his sister pleasured him like that, and she did it often. Her mouth felt so soft, so warm, and so fluid in its approach that he couldn’t help but moan and let his eyes lid over. He surrendered to her completely, relaxing his body back against the wall, his hands resting against it, fingertips dragging over the rugged brick slightly. His ears and tail were slack, his muscles loose, and it was one of those few times where Spark let his inhibitions go and simply enjoyed himself. Pleasure ebbed through his loins as the soft sounds of suckling filled the air like a dirty whisper.\n\nBoth couldn’t help but let out soft moans. Glint whimpered around her brother’s length, so excited that she wiggled her hips and rubbed her thighs together. She took him deeper slowly, letting him feel another inch get swallowed up into her mouth. Spark let out a gentle panting, rather quiet, but Glint’s ears picked up on it like little radars, and she was spurred on all the more by it.\n\nSlowly, the two of them sank deeper into their little world.\n\nAnd then were torn out.\n\n“W… What are you two doing?!”\n\nA third voice shot in from seemingly nowhere, stopping the twins in their tracks. Their eyes shot open, and they both stared backward towards the entrance of the small alley. Spark’s cock popped out of Glint’s mouth with a wet slurp, a bridge of saliva connecting lip-to-member briefly before simply snapping off. Their stares were blank, as if the darkness that had separated them from the rest of the world was disappearing, and their eyes were adjusting to the light. It was a combination of shock and speechlessness reflected in their eyes.\n\nA Golduck, an older male, stood at the end of the small alley and stared at them in equal shock. He was the swimming teacher for the center, and his name was Gabriel. The twins knew him of course, on a somewhat personal and friendly level, as Gabriel did try to be friends with the children there.\n\nBut what Gabriel saw shocked him beyond words – so he let his mind do the talking.\n\n“You two shouldn’t be doing stuff like that!” The twins heard in their heads, knowing it to be telepathy. “Quick, come here, both of you.”\n\nThey were all frozen for a bit, almost as if the twins hadn’t heard what was spoken directly into their minds. Of course they had, but Gabriel still had to repeat himself to get them to move.\n\nGlint and Spark regained and dressed themselves with as much dignity as they could muster, but they were both shaking.\n \nTheir little world was starting to crash down all around them.\n\nLove Polarity – I Miss U\nWritten by MilkJunkie ( http://www.furaffinity.net/user/milkjunkie/ )\n\nGabriel took the two and walked with them, and they knew exactly where they were going. They saw it as a principle’s office, though it was really the head of the center, in charge of and responsible for all the children in the center. Anything that happened was on her lap, and this was certainly something that couldn’t just be ignored.\n\nThe process was long, and the twins spent a lot of time sitting in front of a large desk that made them seem miniscule. It was frightening to be there… The room was decorated with red carpet and velvet, and the chairs were luxuriant and surely velvet as well. One large window behind the head was all that shined light through it seemed, the intimidating woman seeming to prefer the dark. Their bodies were rigid as they were scolded and spoken to, many of the words flying right over their heads. Their hearts were pounding and their stomachs felt empty, yet churning at the same time. They shivered as if cold, yet felt flush all over their bodies. Sparks occasionally flickered from their cheeks, so frightened of the consequences of their actions that they could hardly control the electrical impulses in their bodies.\n\nSome things passed through their minds as they sat there trying not to lose their composure, and trying not to cry. Things like “brothers and sisters shouldn’t do those things” and how “she could go to jail for letting things of that nature carry on.” It all sounded so terrifying to the two young Pokémon. Even if it was unrealistic, they couldn’t help but imagine being locked away for loving one another.\n\nThe twins looked at one another, their eyes met, and they both were pained by what they saw. They were so frightened, on the brink of tears, and seeing that look in one another’s eyes made their hearts sink into their queasy stomachs. They felt ashamed at that moment, ashamed for getting caught. How could this happen? Why? Those thoughts ran through their heads over and over and over again, upsetting them further.\n\nThey were taken out of the office when they both began to cry. They didn’t know what else to do. They couldn’t stop even when Gabriel took them into the hallway and found them somewhere to sit. He stayed with them to make sure they didn’t do anything reckless, or were teased by the other children, and just watched them.\n\nThey held each other as soon as they were out of the office, making them hard to move. When they were seated, they clutched to each other and cried, and cried, trying to stop and only forcing out more tears. Gabriel’s felt terrible as he watched them, but sat in silence. A relationship like that between a brother and sister wasn’t healthy… Something had to be done, no matter how much it hurt those two. For all he knew, they were only upset because they were caught. He was only partially right.\n\nGlint and Spark could only imagine the inevitable end. The same scene played out in both their minds. They were going to be taken away from one another, separated, forced to withdraw from one another and learn to live without kissing, without making love… without ever acting the same way towards one another ever again… if there was even a chance they would be allowed to see one another again.\n\nAfter an hour straight of tears, the twins were all dried up. Gabriel looked at them, but remained quiet. They both still held one another tightly, and were whimpering things to one another that no one could really understand. It was sobbed mumbles, though the twins seemed to understand it perfectly.\n\nAs they had cried, Gabriel had watched as many other staff members rushed by. They saw him there and would nod or give him a concerned look, but pass by without a word. Gabriel had a fair idea as to what was happening, considering the departments they were from. The head wanted an opinion. They had called an emergency meeting to discuss how to deal with the situation they had found themselves in, and whatever the outcome was, the Golduck was sure that the twins weren’t going to come out unscathed. He felt a little sorry for them… they were so young… but not too young. They knew what they were doing was wrong. It was all over their faces when he caught them.\n\n“Hey… why don’t I get you two something to eat?” Gabriel asked. The twins said nothing in response, and he understood. They felt as if everything was against them at that moment.\n\n“… I’ll be right back.” Gabriel said, getting out of his seat and heading off. In all honesty, it was partially for his own benefit that he got away from the depressing scene for a little while.\n\nThey never bothered to eat that meal.\n\nTheir plates of food sat in their laps as they stared up in horror.\n\nA Milktank stood before them, with a very wide and motherly figure. She was Mimi, wet-nurse for the younger Pokémon, and very much a mother figure to all the children who had the pleasure of nursing on her rather large bosom during their infant stages.\n\n“I… don’t know how to say this, dears, but… You two are going to be… apart for a while.” She had said. And they knew what that meant, and all colour had drained from their faces as they stared up, not moving, barely breathing. Were they really going to take them away from each other?\n\nSeeing the looks on their faces, Mimi frowned. “I’m very sorry, dears… We’ve tried thinking of everything we could, and we’ve agreed that some time apart would be best for you both.”\n\nHearing it again drove the nail into the coffin, and Glint wasn’t going to take it sitting down. Spark was of course quiet and simply looked morbidly depressed, but his sister took a very opposite route in her reaction.\n\nShe kicked her feet out immediately, her red sneakers with the white bottoms, her favourites, hitting Mimi’s shins. Never in her life would she have thought about hitting Mimi, ever, but she just… reacted.\n\n“NO!” She screamed, startling her brother, whose lower lip seemed to tremble.\n\n“I’m not getting taken away! I love Spark!” She shouted, not sparing any effort on letting everyone on that floor hear her yelling. Of course, many of the staff had hurried out of the office to see what was happening, and when they saw Glint throwing a tantrum, they tried to do what they could to settle her down.\n\n“H-Hun, please…” Mimi said, stifling the pain from being struck so fiercely. Glint responded by shouting and trying to kick Mimi again, but the large bovine moved back before the smaller one’s feet could connect.\n\n“No! No! NO!” The Plusle shouted, grabbing onto her brother tightly and holding him close.\n\nSpark gasped and winced. Glint was so fiercely intent on staying with him that she didn’t realize she was holding him so tightly that it hurt. “Glint… ow…!”\n\nGabriel stood up and rested a hand on Glint to try and get her to calm down – and she immediately sent a surge of electricity from her body and into his. It was agonizing, but in no way enough to be fatal or too harmful to Gabriel. It was enough to have him jerk his arm back and stumble to the floor.\n\nBeing no fools, two Pokémon immediately took Mimi and Gabriel’s place. One was a Geodude, a rock type, the other a Sandslash, a ground. The electricity from Glint and Spark’s bodies would have no effect on them, so they immediately set to work prying the twins away from each other in hopes to diffuse the situation that had caught the attention of nearly everyone on the floor they were on.\n\nWhen Spark was pulled on, he held tight to Glint even though she was hurting him. He didn’t want to be taken away any more than his sister did, and it was showing as they both tried to shock and electrocute the ones who tried to pull them apart. They only got more frantic and more violent the longer it had no effect.\n\nTheir full-on hug was forced to a grasping of hands to one another’s shirts, some ripping, and then they were briefly pulled apart. Both twins scrambled and flailed their arms until their hands found each other’s, and they held on tight again, yelling and screaming every profanity they could possibly think of.\n\nAdults or not, they could not separate them… they just couldn’t!\n\nAnd yet they did.\n\nTheir hands fell apart from one another, and it was at that moment they felt some wave of nausea run over their body. Something had been torn from them. They felt terrible.\n\n“Spark! SPARK!” Glint screamed and shouted, kicking her feet a little as the Geodude picked her up. She broke down; all her energy spent, and just started to cry, weakly struggling. “Put me down…!”\n\nSpark was equally distraught, trying to punch and hit the Sandslash’s claws and arms as they rest firmly wrapped around the boy’s stomach. “Let me go! Let me go!” He said, doing everything he could to not cry or be afraid.\n\nWatching as they were carried off in two separate directions was the longest moment in their young lives. As the distance between them increased, their fight was drained out of them, until they were both limp in their adult’s arms. Even then, they still resisted, becoming dead weight, dragging their heels on the floor. It was embarrassing, humiliating, and crushing for everyone who watched. Many of the staff immediately ushered people out of the hallways, trying to get them to move along and not stare or whisper.\n\nGlint and Spark on the other hand were utterly defeated, and the last thing they saw before simply closing their eyes and letting themselves be dragged anywhere their captor’s pleased was each other – though very far away.\n\n…\n\nIt was the first night they had spent apart from each other. \n\nIn all of thirteen years of living, they were inseparable… or so people had come to think. That indestructible bond had been severed, and the results were heartbreaking.\n\nThey were brought to separate rooms on opposing ends of the complex. They couldn’t have been further from one another, and they felt it. The rooms they were given were singular. There was only one bed with white sheets, one closet with brown doors, one unpainted wooden dresser… The move had been so sudden; they had none of their own belongings for the first night apart. Their rooms were so plain and empty.\n\nWhere was the other bed? Where were their coloured sheets? Why weren’t the doors painted red and blue? Why weren’t Glint’s clothes all over the floor? Where were Spark’s books? How were they supposed to play video games together? How were they supposed to wake up on time without the other to rouse them in the morning?\n\nIt felt cold in those rooms. Their beds felt hard, and their feet didn’t even feel comfortable against the floor. Things were too different, and their minds couldn’t handle it all. They were so uncomfortable being apart, so agitated with everything that the two of them wasted what energy they had left fussing on their beds. Then they just laid there.\n\nGlint laid on her stomach on the bed, her pillow bundled up in her arms. She stared at nothing… She couldn’t close her eyes, because if she did, all she’d see and hear in her head was those adults grabbing her and ripping her away from her brother… From her Sparky. Thinking about him made her choke a bit, bit she couldn’t cry, not anymore. She was too tired… she was hungry, but couldn’t eat, and she had burned off so much energy fighting against the world it felt, that she just couldn’t do anything at all. And by all means she should have slept, but… whenever she tried, she felt… alone.\n\nSpark had the same problem. He sat alone in his room, staring out the window. He could see the soccer field he and Glint played an amazing game of soccer on hours before. It was night time now. The stars were out and the moon was hanging low in the air, as if it too was brought down by what had happened that day. Spark lacked even the energy to lift his ears, and his throat felt raspy from yelling so much. What was the last thing he had said to Glint?\n\n“Because you know we shouldn’t do stuff like that in front of everyone.”\n\n“What? No!”\n\n“Wait until we get back to our room!”\n\n“I don’t wanna!”\n\nSpark sniffled, raising his legs to hug his knees to his chest, curled up in a little ball as he looked out the window. He whimpered, tears coming to his eyes again, though it was a simple welling, and they trickled down his cheeks, over the blue half-circles, causing little flickers of electricity to crackle.\n\n“I should have told her…” He began to say, his voice shaking, but he was interrupted by a beeping sound. His ears shot up as did his posture, and he immediately looked to the device on his wrist. The green LCD screen was blinking… He had a message!\n\nFor the brief moment his heart rose from its sunken crypt and he was overjoyed.\nOpening it up, it read:\n\n\"i miss u\"\n\nIt was from Glint. He was surprised to hear from her, even though she was the only one who ever posted messages on his Pokétch. In the commotion it had begun to feel as if he’d never hear from her again, so even that short message made him happy. But what the message said made him so sad… But to overcome those feelings, he immediately sent one back.\n\n\"i miss u 2\"\n\nGlint sighed at the message like a love-struck teenager… But she felt more like a love-sick puppy. She was still lounged on her bed, though her arms were folded over her pillow and keeping her propped up. She stared at the back-lit screen in the darkness and purred softly. Even that small escape from what had happened was enough to hold her, and to give her hope. Feelings of depression and loneliness lingered, the Plusle right outside their reach… But with that message, she blocked them out.\n\nShe wrote another message in short-hand again, and sent it away.\n\nSpark answered as quickly as he could. Glint had timed it. Thirty seconds.\n\nThere was no long, drawn out love letters from them… no cheesy poems or sonnets… No movie quotes or anything like that. They were all short, from the heart messages. They replaced words like “you” and “too” with “u” and “2” if for no other reason than to save time. The most common messages back and forth were small, comforting things, like “I love u” and “I wish u were here” and even “I’m cold” and “I hate this bed.” Rarely did they ever pass five or six words, but those small messages gave them the relief they desperately needed.\n\nThey messaged each other back and forth until they drifted off to sleep in their uncomfortably new beds. Neither would be certain what the last thing they said to one another was… possibly “goodnight” or something, if one of them even noticed they were about to slip into sleep. Odds were that both were so engrossed with one another that they failed to notice anything at all. They’d both be up in the morning before they realized they had even slept.\n\n…\n\nIn the days that followed, the twins attempted to conform to the rules set in place for them, but only in hopes that their co-operation with the adults would bring them closer together. This couldn’t have been more wrong. The adults were more steady than that, and weren’t about to go easy on the two simply because they did as they were told. Glint and Spark were quick to discover that their new schedules were tailored in such a way that the two never even caught a passing glance at one another. They were often kept at separate ends of the school, and they were placed in new classes.\n\nBoth were accompanied by someone to supervise them, though since most of the faculty had their own things to worry about, they’d switch out about two times a day. They would follow Glint and Spark around to make sure they didn’t sneak off to meet each other between classes and things like that – and they did try. But the ever-watchful eye of their caretaker would be sure to halt whatever advances the twins tried to make with one another. Instead, they encouraged the twins to make other friends, and to communicate more with the other orphans. Try as they might though, no one was like Spark to Glint, and visa versa. Everyone else was just so… not perfect like their sibling would be. The two of them felt so incredibly out of their element without the other that it had actually begun to fatigue them earlier throughout the day, just trying to cope with life without the other.\n\nFortunately, the twins were able to keep any prying eyes from their Pokétchs. The were still sending each other messages at frequent points throughout the day, and almost all during the night when they locked themselves away into their rooms. They didn’t want to go and spend time with others… not separately anyways. If Glint and Spark were together and bored enough, it wasn’t beyond them to go out and find some others to enjoy a game with… But by themselves, the drive just wasn’t there. They weren’t as enthusiastic to do anything. Classes bored them to tears and games just seemed so dull – and forget team games. What was a team without Glint’s brother, or Spark’s sister?\n\nIt took them all of three days, including their initial separation, for them to fall out of their outgoing behaviour, and retreat to recluse.\n\nOn the forth night of being apart, Spark had snuck out of his room, able to climb out the window and down a tree outside to head around the building, and climb up some opportunely placed vines that grew tangled up the wall right past Glint’s window. Glint however couldn’t let him in… if someone had heard her talking to him in her room, they would have surely looked in, discovered the two, and take to more drastic measures to keep them apart. Neither liked the idea of being in prison or anything similar to it, so Spark stayed outside the window, hanging with his feet snug in a couple strong-standing vines, and holding on to another.\n\nHis freed hand rested tenderly on his sister’s cheek as she leaned out the window, and they shared a deep, loving kiss.\nThey didn’t even say anything throughout the entire time Spark was there. They knew already what the other was thinking… all the words they wanted to say so badly surrendered to the silence of their thoughts. They just knew. They knew that they missed each other so much that it gave them stomach cramps. They knew that they both slept curled up and holding themselves, attempting to simulate the way they used to sleep together. They knew that sometimes, just sometimes, they spoke to themselves as if the other was with them. And the funny thing was that neither thought themselves strange for it. They weren’t crazy… they were in love.\n\nSpark was only wearing his pajamas, and all that consisted of was a pair of blue and white flannel sleeping pants. He was cold in the night air, but he didn’t mind it for a second as he spent his time with Glint, who had dressed in only a pink nightie and some panties.\n\nThe fact that Spark had the bravery to sneak out of his room, then climb down a tree, and then up a wall just to see Glint had the Plusle’s heart aflutter. It wasn’t often that Spark did things like that, since he was so worried about being discovered, and evidently with good reason… So when he did hold her, when he did show her his affection, or even “force” himself on her without any prompting from her… It made Glint crazy. She loved it, and yet couldn’t bear to wish that he would do it more often… The rarity of it made it so much better. She knew deep down that her brother was crazy about her, just as she was about him.\n\nWhen the kiss broke, Glint wrapped her arms around Spark and held him for as long as she could. She rested her chin on his shoulder and held his warm body against her own. They nuzzled cheeks for a moment, blue spot on red spot, causing sparks and crackles between them.\n\nThey stayed like that until Spark’s arm felt tired. Glint woefully let him go, and they said their quiet goodnights, and Spark climbed down the wall again and made his way back to his room. Their eyes never separated for a moment until they could not see one another anymore, and Spark sure took his time making his way around the building. That night, when they slept, memories of that moment filled their minds, and they dreamed about one another.\n\nIt was within the next twenty-four hours that things got worse.\n\nSpark had sent Glint a message at lunch time, hoping that she would get it, wherever she was. But she didn’t answer. Spark had waited thirty seconds. He waited five minutes. He waited half an hour. He waited three hours. There was no response from his sister at all. He worried. He worried so much that something terrible had happened, so much that his stomach churned. Even in the first five minutes, he had lost his appetite, and in the hours to follow, he didn’t take a single note, or complete one chicken-scratch of schoolwork. In the last hour, anything anyone said to him just went right over his head. There was no room in his brain for whatever they wanted – all he could think about was why Glint might not have answered.\n\nMaybe she’d gotten hurt? If he was there, she’d never have gotten hurt. Or what if her supervision was watching her more intently for some reason? He hated that idea too. He got angry at the thought that she was being pestered every minute of every day by the watchful eyes of the adults. He was really starting to hate adults. He hated lying to them about what his Pokétch was and why it beeped so many times a day. He hated answering their questions, and hated how they had to almost force him to get out of bed every morning. He knew that they were only doing what they thought was right… But they weren’t right, and it made him so angry he thought he would hurt someone. Spark never, ever thought he would hurt someone.\n\nSo after school, when he retreated to his room, Spark waited. He waited at the door with his ear to it, not moving for over an hour as he listened. And when he heard the person sitting outside his door like a guard get up to leave for a second, he acted. He opened his bedroom door and hurried out, closing it again after locking it from the inside. He then scrambled faster than he knew his legs could carry him down the hall. Luckily not everyone knew he wasn’t supposed to be out and about at that time, for the risk of him going to find Glint, so he was able to just walk past people as if he was just in a hurry to get somewhere. It was the adults, Mimi, Gabriel, and head of the center he had to look out for - though he was sure the ‘principle’ never, ever left her office.\n\nSpark raced across the building and up one floor in record time to find Glint’s room. He was smart about it though… When he reached her hallway, he peeked around the corner to see the Sandslash who had taken him away from his sister sitting on a chair just outside Glint’s door. His ears wilted and his tail drooped, the largest frown ever on his face as he watched that man sit there like a prison guard. It made him feel even more miserable than he had been. He wanted to cry, but Glint might have been depending on him! He couldn’t cry just then… he had to see what was wrong.\n\nSo he waited. He waited more patiently than any thirteen year old on the planet. But he was so tempted to act. His toes and fingers tapped on things as he tried not to hyperventilate. It was as if he was alone in a room with a marshmallow, and was told not to eat it until someone came in to give him another one. He stared down his ‘prize’ with such intensity that he was sure he was going to burn a hole in the Sandslash’s chest. It seemed like he’d been waiting forever for him to move! When he did though, and moved in the opposite direction, Spark sprung into action like a ninja.\n\nHe crept up as silent as a mouse and he walked right up to Glint’s bedroom door to see something sitting on the “guard’s” chair that made his heart sink.\n\nIt was Glint’s Pokétch.\n\nSpark reached out and scooped it up in both hands as if it were a precious artefact, and stared at it for a while. Many of the settings had been fiddled with. The Sandslash must have discovered it and confiscated it to look it over. Knowing better than any stupid adult how to work the thing, Spark set everything back to the way Glint liked it, and then checked her messages. Glint had saved every single one that Spark had sent in the previous five days. And while that did touch him, he was busy rooting around through them as if trying to remember what he had said. There were lots of sweet things said, and plans to see each other again outside the window… But looking at them all, Spark checked the times they were last looked at, and then checked his own time on his own Pokétch.\n\nAll of them were checked in the past fifteen minutes.\n\nSpark was a smart one, probably the smarter of the two if it really came down to it, so he knew what that meant. They had caught Glint and were checking her messages. They found out that she was still talking to him, and had acted on it. Spark panicked a bit, and looked at Glint’s door, ready to pound on it and somehow get her attention… But he couldn’t! He’d get caught! He thought for a second that he might take the Pokétch with him, but… well they’d notice that. He put it hastily down on the chair and then stared at it. It made him feel sick, and the tears of worry started to flow. They had cut off his last form of communication with his sister! But his mind immediately went to the window, and he hurried off again.\n\nSpark was outside and around the side of the building in no time, only to stare up and see someone cutting the vines that scaled the wall. His mouth hung agape for a moment in silence, but when the person had turned to see if someone was down below, Spark was already gone. He was running around the side of the building, tears streaming down his face. How could they do this to him?! He had run around the side of the building, and climbed up the tree outside his window. He’d left the window unlocked, so he was able to slide it open and climb back inside. After closing it again, he used his cruddy mattress as a punching bag for about five minutes.\n\nHe was interrupted by a knocking at his door. He stopped, panted and caught his breath, and wiped his tears from his eyes and sniffled up his sadness before he would answer. Gabriel stood outside, in his usual tank-top and shorts.\nGabe looked down at Spark, and Spark stared up at him.\n\n“Spark…” Gabe said, holding out a webbed hand. He didn’t say anything after that, watching as the boy’s expression drowned in sorrow.\n\nSpark slowly unclasped his Pokétch from his wrist and handed it over to Gabriel. As soon as the watch exchanged hands, Spark stepped back and slammed his door so hard that it knocked a picture loose on the wall in the hallway, causing it to fall and shatter.\n\nThe shattering glass reminded Gabriel of just how things were going, as far as Glint and Spark were concerned. From what he heard, Glint had reacted in much the same way - only louder. He felt bad for the kids, he really did… Gabe hated seeing them get put through that.\n\nHe left to meet Mimi in the hallway. She swayed over to him with Glint’s Pokétch in her hand. She handed it off to him, both of them unable to say or do much other than look visibly grim over the whole ordeal. If anyone didn’t want to see the twins upset and torn apart like they were, it was Gabe and Mimi.\n\n“Poor kids…” Mimi said after a lingering silence.\n\nGabe nodded and sighed. “I know… but it’s for their own good. What they were doing before… it’s… not right.”\n\n“I know… I think.” Mimi said as she turned and they both set off down the hall. “But… I’m not sure.”\n\nLooking surprised, the Golduck looked at the Miltank. “Seriously? You’re questioning that?”\n\nMimi shook her head. “No, I know that… brother and sister being intimate like that is wrong. If they were caught when they were older… who knows what could happen? But watching them lately… I just can’t help but feel like we did something wrong.”\n\n“I heard that Stacey was going to call in a Psychiatrist.” Gabe said. “Maybe that’ll help.”\n\n“I sure hope so.” Mimi said. “I’m starting to worry about them… They’re not eating as much or leaving their rooms or anything.”\n\nMimi had good reason to worry…\n\n… Because the next morning, neither Glint nor Spark got out of bed.\n\nLove Polarity – Sick Without You\nWritten by MilkJunkie ( http://www.furaffinity.net/user/milkjunkie/ )\n\n\t“You’re running a really bad fever.”\n\n\tGlint laid all snug in her covers, an extra blanket having been draped over her body. \n\n\tWhen she had gone to bed that night, she felt overly cold and overly depressed. She had her Poketch taken away… and they cut off what little opportunity she had to see Spark again just like that… It made her feel like she’d never see him again, and was imprisoned in some sort of tower. It was nothing as dramatic as that, but she wanted her prince to save her… And she kept chanting that over and over through her own tears until she fell asleep.\n\n\tWhen she woke up, she felt awful… But that was just perfect as far as she was concerned. It was the little cherry on the sundae she’d been served. When someone came in to check on her, she told them that she wasn’t feeling well. Of course they first thought she was lying, but she looked all worn out, sweaty, and burnt up, so they fetched one of the nurses.\n\n\tThe nurse, a Chansey of course, did a quick little routine check-up, and found that Glint’s body temperature was high above normal. She didn’t show any other symptoms of sickness, like a cough or a runny nose or anything… But just to be safe, she instructed that Glint stayed in her room and got plenty of rest and drinks plenty of water. If anything were to progress as far as sickness went, whoever was watching the Plusle would be instructed to inform the clinic immediately.\n\n\tThe peculiar thing about it all was that across the building, Spark was stuck in bed as well. The nurse had also checked on him, and he had a high fever too, for no real explicable reason. The instructions were still the same though… If anything happened, the clinic would be informed, and a nurse would come running. They had such a dedicated staff, and with the number of kids in the center, it was quite a bit of work to take care of them all – especially if a bug hit the center and large groups got all sick all at once.\n\n\tBut it was hardly flu season and allergies never gave anyone fevers, so the number of sick Pokemon was few, and that was fortunate for the twins. The nurses were able to look after them rather promptly.\n\n\tSitting outside Glint’s room, Gabriel was talking on his cell. He took the morning shift with Glint before the afternoon hit, and the students were allowed class time to use the pool, which he maintained and supervised. He was the lifeguard, and very well liked by many of the students and faculty… particularly the female ones. He had a sleek, handsome look to him and a swimmer’s body, but he was young. Being a little into his twenties, he was a rather… prime specimen.\n\n\t“Really? He’s sick too? That’s weird.” Gabe said.\n\n\tMimi sat outside Spark’s room, taking the morning shift with him. Of course, she had to wait until after breakfast to do so, since she had many, many little mouths to feed. It was fortunate however that her girthy, child-bearing body came complete with a pair of massive, milk-filled bosoms. She was able to feed the children around breakfast, lunch and dinner at most times, and still had plenty sweet, nutritious cream to spare. She was very well liked as well… Sure her measurements and weight were one of the highest recorded in the history of the center, but it was her sweet, welcoming, motherly attitude that made her as popular as she was. The kids, young and old, could open up to her, and the adults liked her a lot.\n\n\t“It’s very strange.” She said, brushing some of her black bangs away from her eyes. “But I’ve read books about twins and how they’re connected… maybe this isn’t just some sort of coincidence.”\n\n\t“You’re talking crazy now.” Gabe said over the line. “One of them can’t get sick just because the other one does.”\n\n\t“Who says? I’ve read that sometimes twins can know what each other are thinking. Maybe they’re psychically linked somehow.” Mimi said with a sigh. “I’ve heard them finish each other’s sentences before…”\n\n\t“You’re talking about psychic links to a psychic.” Gabe said flatly.\n\n\t“I know, but still… Don’t you think this is all too strange? The two of them have been acting like one person for their whole lives.”\n\n\tGabe knew that was true. Like two peas in a pod, two links in the same chain, Glint and Spark were very much the same. Despite their differences in gender and species, they were as tall as one another, weighed the same as one another… Hell, in routine endurance tests, he’s recorded for the three years he’s been there that they’ve clocked in at the exact same time swimming from one end of the pool to the other and back again, even when he deliberately separated them by making Spark go first and Glint go last. Gabe didn’t want to believe that the twins were so in sync with one another… but the evidence was there.\n\n\tAnd if anyone knew how Glint and Spark acted since day one, it was Mimi. She had them suckling on her teats at the same time plenty when they were kids. They started, paused, and finished at the same time – give or take a second or two at most. Strangely, they both had a habit of biting too, though luckily they lacked teeth back then.\n\n\t“Well I’m going to get Glint some water.” Gabe said. “I’ll talk to you later.”\n\n\tThe two of them were put on diets of water, chicken soup, and a lot of naps for the remainder of the day. The next day they were no better. They ran a high fever still, and drank as much water as they could to try and flush whatever they were feeling out of their bodies, but it wasn’t working. Their condition remained a constant, and if anything, the lack of exercise was making them feel groggy and out of sorts. They felt so lazy… and so incredibly unmotivated to even lift a finger. Depression had set in on both of them… they barely said a word to anyone who spoke to them unless they absolutely had to. Glint’s chipper attitude had been demolished, and Spark’s more reserved personality had turned into a full-blown avoidance of interaction.\n\n\tThe day after that, they got worse.\n\n\tIt happened around lunchtime. They gave the twins something solid to eat to try and get them off of soups and water and to get them on a more appropriate diet. Not long after that, it all came back up. Glint and Spark had been said to be vomiting at the same time, striking the staff, their watchers, and even Stacey, the head of the center, as outrageously peculiar. The nurses were called back in, and they ran a few tests to try and diagnose them with something. As much as they looked for signs of things like the flu, or even pneumonia, they found nothing. Glint and Spark were perfectly healthy, yet burning up and finding it difficult to eat and keep the food in their systems for more than an hour or so. By the end of that day, the nurses tried a simple reflex test, only to find out that the lazy, groggy behaviour of the twins was a result of bad nerves. They barely even spoke about it either… it seemed the only thing they had the energy to do was roll over in bed and turn their backs to the adults to avoid speaking to them.\n\n\tNeither of the twins even cared about how sick they were. They didn’t even think about it so much. What they kept asking, whenever they even bothered to ask, was how their sibling was doing. For a while, they got no answer or something generic and made up. The adults didn’t want them too dependant on one another, or unable to go through a simple day without some sort of status check. And the less answers the twins got, the less co-operative they got. If Gabe, Mimi, and the rest of the adults weren’t going to co-operate with them, the twins saw no reason to be co-operative themselves.\n\n\tThe fourth day into their sickness, and over a week since they had been separated, Stacey had a professional therapist called in. They were hailed discreetly, since anything of this nature would have drawn the attention to the media, and soon the center would be known as a place of… odd circumstances. No one would trust them anymore. That was the last thing Stacey wanted.\n\n\tEinrich, an Espeon, was the expert called in, He wasn’t all that old, though not young, and spoke with a rather thick accent that was unable to be pinned. It seemed like Russian, but could have equally been Ukraine, or something of the sort. He dressed rather professionally, in a simple pair of fine black slacks and a white button-up shirt. He was a very calm and collected individual, and had a little goatee beard and short hair, with sideburns. His hair was a darkish brown, looking out of place on his pale purple body.\n\n\tHe entered Glint’s room first. The Plusle didn’t even look at him or acknowledge his presence… She just laid there, facing away from the door, her back to him. She was unclothed beneath the covers, and barely bothered to cover herself… She just didn’t care anymore. She was so angry and upset that she’d turned to apathy… something certainly uncharacteristic of the Plusle’s normally chipper attitude.\n\n\t“Hello little one.” Einrich said. He got no answer. He didn’t expect to from what he had been told, so he simply pulled a seat in from outside and settled in next to Glint’s bed. “Your name… Glint, was it?”\n\n\tAgain, he got no answer. She only shifted somewhat. He knew she heard him however, so he continued.\n\n\t“I hear you are feeling under the weather.” He said, just waiting as if she had responded, and continued. “When did this start?”\n\n\tGlint kept her silence, not budging for a second. This guy wasn’t getting a peep out of her. She’d die first.\n\t“I also hear you have a brother. What is his name?” Einrich asked.\n\n\t“Spark.”\n\n\tGlint had actually answered, though quietly. Her voice was muffled from her facing away and being all tucked in under the covers. Einrich saw this as an immediate opening. He had actually planned on her answer, and was glad that she hadn’t thrown him some sort of curve ball.\n\n\t“Where is he now?” Einrich said, looking around.\n\n\t“Gone. They took him away.” Glint answered briefly.\n\n\t“Who? Who took him away?” Einrich probed.\n\n\t“Stupid adults.” Glint mumbled back.\n\n\tEinrich kept prodding the subject. Anytime he tried to veer off course and ask about something else, Glint would give him the cold shoulder. The only thing she spoke about was Spark. With a quickly analyzing mind, Einrich tailored all his questions to focus on Glint’s brother, since it seemed to be the only way she would talk. Even things completely unrelated to Spark in any way, he found a way to work around them to get Glint to say what she wanted people to hear, not what she said to try and make people go away. He got her to describe how she felt, and how much she missed her brother… He had even gotten her to start talking about her relationship with her brother. He had been in that room for well into four hours by the time they came on to that topic.\n\n\tGlint had been worked over so well that she just… spilled. Everything she thought about Spark was leaving her lips before she was even the slightest bit inclined to stop them. She’d only ever stopped them before in knowing that people wouldn’t understand or accept what she had to say, or what she thought… But even if Einrich didn’t care, she was going to make him hear it. She had actually turned around and lay on her back, covered up as she went on and on about Spark.\n\n\tSpark was the only person that knew her as deeply as she wanted a lover to know her. He understood her, and even if they were at odds sometimes, she knew he knew, and knew why he was so hesitant to comply with her wishes all the time. She wanted to walk with Spark and show everyone how much she loved him… And she loved him terribly much. It was the very reason she wanted everyone to know, and the very reason she hated that nobody could. There was something about the thought of standing up and letting the world know just how much you love a particular person that Glint seemed to adore… And Spark was the only person she felt that way towards, and not only that, but he was the only one who felt that way about her.\n\n\tShe loved everything about him. She loved how his fur smelled after he had a shower… or even how it smelled when he was just lying on his bed and reading. She loved how his body felt, and how she could knead his fingers into his chest and feel the muscle there, knowing that one day he was going to be a big, strong man. She adored the way he blushed, and was enthralled by the shy stammering of his voice when she got him all worked up. She cherished every second they spent together, just playing games, or studying together. She was hardly ashamed of their intimacy either… She knew that Spark wanted to show her how much he loved her back, and she believed the thought was what counted. That Minun made her heart soar, and it just happened to be a coincidence that he was her brother. Should she really have been penalized for that? It just didn’t seem fair.\n\n\tAs she went on though, her breathing was becoming more rapid, and she was getting more flushed. Einrich made her stop before she hyperventilated. She threw up in a conveniently placed bucket not long after her spiel. Einrich had been alone with her in her room for hours, and rather than be sickened by a single word she said, he looked completely absorbed into it. He was interested. He was probing her mind and finding out exactly how she felt, and Glint noticed. She noticed that he wasn’t judging whatever she said, or disgusted by the idea that she absolutely loved her brother, and offered body, heart, and soul to the boy she was related to. Maybe that’s why she revealed it at such length.\n\n\tAfter a while, Einrich sat back and looked at her. “… How long have you wanted to say that to someone?” He asked.\n\n\tGlint didn’t answer right away. She was hesitant for the first time in a long time.\n\n\t“… Forever.” She finally said after a few minutes of silence. “I’ve wanted to… forever.”\n\n\tWith that, Einrich took his leave. His next destination was Spark’s room. He kept himself reserved, and many people watched as he went from Glint’s room to Spark’s without stopping for a second. Many people could just… sense how he felt. He was determined to get to the bottom of these two, though why he wanted to so badly was anyone’s guess.\n\n\tGabriel and Mimi were particularly interested in the man. They wanted to just go watch and see what he did, but were unable to, not to mention not allowed to. So they could only wonder what the Espeon was capable of.\n\n\tEinrich’s time with Spark was very similar to his time with Glint. Though this time, he knew immediately going in that speaking of Spark’s sister was the best way to make the Minun talk. It took some time however. Spark was so morbidly depressed that Einrich could feel it in the air. The Minun was convinced that he’d never be allowed to talk to Glint ever again, so making him think about her was having the opposite effect than Einrich anticipated… But he kept pushing. He asked more and more questions about Glint, making Spark more and more visibly upset. But sometimes in that field of work, some harsh play was what was necessary.\n\n\t“I miss her so much!” Spark shouted, bursting into tears. “I want her back; I don’t wanna stay here without her anymore!”\n\n\t“I understand, Spark. It’s hard living without your family.” Einrich said, chewing on the end of his pencil as he recorded in his notebook what was happening.\n\n\t“It’s not that…” Spark said, sniffling. “I mean, it is, but… Glint’s… not just my family. I love Glint more than anything in the entire world. Ever.”\n\n\tEinrich perked a brow and simply prodded that a little more. Like the Plusle had, Spark soon just started blabbing. The words were barely filtered through the boy’s mind before they left his mouth… But that was perfect. It was precisely the reaction that the Espeon had been hounding the boy for, for almost an hour.\n\n\tSpark’s words matched Glint’s very well. No girl was as beautiful or perfect to Spark as Glint was… Even when Glint said she wished she had larger breasts or a rounder rear end to make her brother happier, Spark couldn’t possibly agree that she needed it. It was much more than just physical signs of affection between them. Spark adored the way Glint laughed, and was envious of the way she could just get up and do things without worrying about the consequences. Even when Spark had boldly snuck out to visit his sister that one night, his mind was plagued by the thoughts of what might have happened if he’d been caught. He was certain Glint would never have thought twice. It just wouldn’t have mattered to her, and he wished he could be the same way. She always wanted to damn the consequences of anything… And she was the one who would encourage him to push forwards when things seemed really bad.\n\n\tIn the situation he was in, not having Glint around nearly halted him entirely.\n\n\tSpark knew that Glint sort of hated it, how he relied on her so much for that sort of thing. He wanted to be more. He wanted to be more independent and stronger, so he could be the one to protect her, instead of the other way around. It was no competition though. Spark wanted Glint to feel the same way about him as he did about her. He wanted to be a strong man she could turn to when things got bad… But it always seemed that he was running to her. And yet, she embraced him. She took him and held him, and always accepted him no matter what, just as he did for her. He couldn’t imagine anyone else knowing him as well as she did, and still wanting to love him as much as she did.\n\n\tGlint was more than a sister to Spark. She was his fire, his passion, his reason.\n\n\tAnd from what Einrich heard before, Glint saw Spark in much the same way.\n\n\tOne seemed completely in love with what was outside, and the other loved what was inside, and together they created a bond of shared understanding between one another, bridging those perspectives together.\n\n\tEinrich watched as Spark groaned and rolled over in bed, feeling too ill to continue. The Espeon stood from his seat then and left the room. He stretched his back as he left, and looked to his side to see a Chansey preparing a moist cloth for Spark. Einrich smiled somewhat to her and rested his hand on her shoulder, getting her attention.\n\n\t“They’ll be no need for that. I’ve reached a diagnosis.”\n\n\tEinrich collected all the parties involved with the incident and brought them together in one place. They all sat at a large meeting room table, waiting to hear what the Espeon could say to shed some light on the answer to their problem. What he said shocked them.\n\n\t“My diagnosis… is love sickness.” He said.\n\n\tEveryone looked rather confused to unbelieving.\n\n\tThe Geodude crossed his arms and scowled. “Love sickness. That’s ridiculous. That doesn’t exist, it’s an unreal diagnosis.”\n\n\t“Hear me out.” Einrich said. “It has been exhibited before in many cases between two lovers that they can grow attached to one another. Like every attachment or condition between two people, this can reach an extreme. Call it an obsession, if you will. A stalker following one person is a one-sided example to such a thing. But in this case and many others, two people deeply in love can be obsessed with one another as well.”\n\n\t“So this is just an obsession?” Gabriel asked.\n\n\t“Not quite. Their answers to my questions were very different from any I had heard before. They don’t sound addicted.” Einrich said as he leaned against the table, planting his hands on it. “These two see one another not as brother and sister, but as a man and a woman. They’ve ascended beyond what we would normally perceive people as. This seems to have much to do with their relation itself - The fact that they’re twins.”\n\n\t“They’re linked.” Mimi said.\n\n\t“Precisely.” Einrich nodded. “Many, many studies have been performed over the years on twins, and many cases document that twins share some innate ability in most cases that ‘links’ them together. Scientifically we account this to their shared genetics. They are both so alike in the way their brain patterns perform that they know more about one another than any other living being on the planet. Glint and Spark seem to have taken this as a foundation for their affections.”\n\n\tMimi thought for a moment, her bottom lip pouted. “… So throughout their entire lives, they’ve really only had each other.”\n\n\t“That’s not true.” Said the Sandslash. “We take care of them like they were our own.”\n\n\t“But they know they’re not our own.” Gabriel said with a slight sigh. “It’s too obvious to them, and so…”\n\n\t“They’re not stupid.” Einrich said. “In fact, they’re rather brilliant. They do know that their only real family in this building is one another. They’ve been building their lives together since they were born… They are both very crucial parts in how they have grown and developed, and how they live. Taking one away from the other would be like pulling the bottom corner out of a pyramid of canned soups at a grocery store.”\n\n\t“It all comes crashing down.” Mimi said sorrowfully.\n\n\t“Exactly.” Einrich said, looking to each of them. “And at the pace it is going now, they will not be able to rebuild that. Their critical stages of forming life-long relationships have passed, and what they have made is a life with one another. So the outcome looks very obvious.”\n\n\tEveryone looked at one another. None looked too hopeful.\n\n\t“Either you keep them separate and pray to whomever or whatever you believe in that they will get better, risking their physical and mental well-being or even their lives… Or you allow them to continue.” Einrich said.\n\n\tEveryone knew that to be true.\n\n\tEveryone turned to the head of the table, where Stacey sat. In that light, it was obvious to see what she was… as far as species went. The Spiritomb looked to be rather deep in thought. The decision wasn’t going to be easy…\n\n\t…\n\n\tHours passed. But before long, a decision was made.\n\n\tGabriel walked into Spark’s room and looked down at him. He appeared to be sleeping, but it wasn’t an absolute. Reaching down, Gabriel fastened Spark’s Poketch back to his wrist, and then gently peeled the covers off Spark. The boy was just in his underwear. Gabe reached down and hooked his arms under Spark, lifting the boy up and carrying him in his arms. He then turned and left the room.\n\n\tMoving into the light of the hallway, Spark’s eyes squinted and fluttered open. He closed them tightly again as he was happening to look right past Gabe’s beak and into a light on the ceiling. He turned and rested his head against Gabe’s chest and mumbled.\n\n\t“… Where are we going…?”\n\n\tGabe didn’t answer, maybe he didn’t hear.\n\n\t“Nn… Gabe… Where…?”\n\n\tSpark felt too weak to really work out the words again, so he let himself be carried.\n\n\tWherever he went, it was far. He didn’t know how long Gabriel carried him, but it seemed like forever. Wherever he went, it felt warmer, warmer than that old room anyways. Gabe finally set him down on what felt like a new bed. It felt softer and most of all warmer than the one he had been sleeping in for over a week. He immediately curled up and murred to himself in some slight delight. It was faint though. He then moved to get under the covers, and soon opened his eyes to look around and see where he was.\n\n\tIt was his old room.\n\n\tHis blue dresser was across the room from him, and he saw his TV in the dark, and could barely make out what was all over the floor. Many discarded pieces of clothing and books littered the floor in a disorganized mess that he missed seeing. That was about when he noticed the blankets he was curled up in. They were red. His ears perked somewhat and he grumbled. He was in Glint’s bed… That wasn’t right, so he moved to get out of bed, and felt his leg brush against someone else’s. He paused in his movements and his ears perked up.\n\n\tHe rubbed his leg against the other for a moment, just to make sure it wasn’t his. It sure wasn’t. It was softer, smoother, and very familiar. He immediately turned onto his other side, and smiled.\n\n\tGlint was there. She was lying on her side, only half covered by the blankets and covers. She was staring at him. Her brown eyes sparkled in the light of the open bedroom door as she stared. Spark simply stared back. He didn’t know what to say or do… but his heart was pounding. Glint surprisingly looked equally as nervous. There was a lingering silence between the two as they just stared at one another, though it was broken by a beeping sound.\n\n\tSpark’s ears perked and he looked down at the Poketch on his wrist. It was a warm and sunny day with a gentle breeze, absolutely perfect for outdoor sports or a tussle in the grass. The sky was as clear and blue as the sea, and the clouds drifting by like cotton candy gave the brightly shining sun a wide gait. The breeze the clouds drifted upon made sure the sun didn’t shine too temperately, caressing those who basked in the beautiful light with the occasional cool embrace to keep them going.

It was all being enjoyed thoroughly by a class situated in one of the multiple Pokémon Daycare Centers throughout the region. It was one class of many, composed of orphans, and the employed teacher who supervised them whilst out on the field. Indeed, since the days of old, Pokémon Daycares had evolved from simply taking in Pokémon and raising them, to acting more as a full-blown orphanage. They had grown from small buildings into giant complexes that rivalled private schools for the wealthy, including many facilities and things such as the soccer field the particular class was getting use of.

The young Pokémon were of all sorts of types, but were all very young. The Orphans were all somewhere in their early teens, and most of the other classes were even younger. The Daycare only raised those who had no family to do so, and only did so until they were old enough to work and support themselves – or ultimately get adopted before that time, and move in with a new, loving family.

“G-Glint, stop it…”

As all the young Pokémon took to the field, a young Minun dragged himself out there as well. ‘Dragged’ being the appropriate term, as he was literally forced to do so by the Plusle that was firmly pulled up against his side and deliberately attempting to hinder his progress.

“Nu-uh, I’m not stopping.”

The two looked so similar; one would assume they were twins. The Minun’s tail ended in a rectangular block tip, and the Plusle’s ended in a cross-shaped block – coloured blue and red, respectively.

They both played on their colourations as well. The Minun wore clothing in varying shades of blue and cyan, and the Plusle wore things that were varying shades of red or pink.

Glint, the Plusle, puckered up her lips and leaned in close, trying to plant hot little kisses on her brother’s cheek, her large, rounded bust pushing against the Minun’s arm. “Kisses for Sparky~!”

“Stop that, d-don’t do stuff like that here.” Spark, the Minun said meekly.

Everyone was in their positions but the twins, and Spark’s brown eyes soaked in everyone else’s lingering gaze, as if they were all staring daggers into him, just waiting for him and his sister to get into their places. Spark swallowed a lump in his throat, knowing that he was going to get in trouble for goofing around.

“Stuff like whaaat?” Glint responded with a cat-like grin as she pushed in tighter against Spark’s side and rubbed her body against him. “Like this?”

Spark almost went pale as his sister rubbed up against him. The feeling of her large breasts pushing against his arm was too much, and the fact that her nipples were pushing firmly through the sports bra he knew she wore under her red t-shirt didn’t help either. He could practically feel his heartbeat in his groin as he started to get all excited. He almost looked as if he was going to scream at her, but absolutely no sounds above incoherent squeaks left his strained vocals.

Finally getting too impatient, the teacher blew her whistle again. She was a rather large Kangaskahn. “Spark! Glint! What are you two doing? Stop goofing around and take your positions!” She shouted her voice rather low and booming.

Spark squeaked, clearly intimidated, but Glint just gave the teacher a sort of ‘oops, my bad’ look, gave her perky rump a wiggle, and pried herself off of Spark’s arm. “Sooorry teacher~”

Then taking Spark’s hand, she practically skipped along the field, dragging her poor brother in tow.
Nobody knew about the twins. Well, of course they KNEW about them… Glint and Spark were rather popular around the center. Most of this was due to them being extremely attractive.

At thirteen years of age, the boys and girls around the twins were starting to notice the lovely things about one another’s bodies, and getting very curious about it. Glint and Spark in particular had grown into puberty exceptionally well – better than any thirteen year old would ever hope to achieve… if they actually thought about things like that. The two were officially over-developed for their age, as their medical files at the center say. Nobody knows quite how it happened, but the evidence was there.

Glint in particular showed it very well. The last measurements that she had taken during the monthly examinations made by the nurse showed that her bust had grown an inch in that time, and that her hips and rear had shown about half as much development. This surprised everyone on the medical staff, since just the month before Glint had been recorded to have been bordering on the very cusp of the higher end of a ‘double D.’ That month she had pushed just into the next letter of the alphabet, shocking the nurses who had been tracking her since she was in diapers.

Spark didn’t show it as well, and it was obvious that was due to his gender. Spark was equally as over-endowed a thirteen-year-old as his sister, measuring in at around nine inches in length, and a healthy girth.

Their looks kept them well in the sights of the other young Pokemon, and even some that were slightly older. But they couldn’t be watched forever, and that was exactly the reason that people just didn’t know about how close the two really were.

As Spark took his position out on the field, the watch he wore on his wrist beeped. With all the applications on them, the two could not only tell the time, but could communicate with one another, and even track one another no matter where they were.

There was a message on Spark’s watch that read:

"rdy?"

Spark looked up and across the field to his sister, who gave him a thumbs up. He returned it with a slightly nervous smile. Glint was always so confident and perky, whereas Spark was worrisome and reserved. It had come to them with puberty really. Glint was so instilled with confidence over her body when she grew into it that it was as if nothing could stop her. Spark had been teased by the other boys after an inopportune showing of his genitals for being freakishly large, making the Minun more hesitant about himself.

But when it came down to it, it wasn’t all about busts and bulges, because with Glint’s encouragement and Spark’s sweet company, the two were able to function perfectly well in their own little world, ignoring the thoughts of them being over-sexed, if even just for short periods of time.

And that’s why nobody else could see it. They were “like that.”

The game lasted somewhere into two hours, Glint having scored one goal in a friendly game where her and Spark’s team won 3-2.

When all was said and done, what little equipment there had been was put away and dragged back inside. It was late in the afternoon, so classes were over for the young Pokemon and they were to retire to their rooms until dinner was prepared. Dinner was normally prepared every night at the same time, and took hours to make, what with the entire center’s residents all eating at the same time in one large cafeteria. That being said, the young ones had some time to kill.

Glint was all over Spark again when they made their way inside, the last ones to do so since they took their time, and weren’t all that interested in returning with the crowd. The Plusle slumped and pushed against the Minun, who pushed back as they walked, laughing and going on like average, every-day kids would about the game they had just played. Both of them were warm, a little worn from the game, and in need of a shower.

“Why didn’t you let me give you a big kiss?” Glint suddenly asked, tilting her head in a playfully quizzical manner.

Spark answered the same way he always did, “Because you know we shouldn’t do stuff like that in front of everyone.”

“Even if it’s just a little kiss on the cheek?” Glint bat her lashes and leaned against her brother’s side. The Minun just huffed and pushed her away.

“You wouldn’t stop there!” Spark said, and Glint knew he was probably right.

Thinking fast, Glint jumped in front of Spark not ten feet from the doors leading inside the dorm building. Glint’s tail was aflutter with playful mirth, while Spark’s was stiffened in annoyance.

“Well then kiss me now!” Glint said as she stood in front of her brother, poking a finger in against his firm chest and giving him a push, which caused the unprepared Minun to stumble backward.

“What? No!” Spark said, smacking her hand away.

Glint pouted, “But you love me don’t you?”

Immediately feeling remorseful for denying her so out-right, Spark blushed. “Well yeah, but…”

“Well then do it!” Glint exclaimed, taking a step towards Spark.

The Minun took the chance to swing around her, but she was hot on his tail, and they basically flip-sided and took one another’s position. Glint leaned in close and advanced on her brother, resting her hands on his shoulders and holding him firmly so that he couldn’t get away. Nervously, Spark stepped back, almost tripping a couple of times.

“No! Wait until we get to our room!” Spark said firmly.

“But I want one noooow~” Glint whined playfully, marching towards Spark and keeping him moving.
“No!”

“Do it!”

“I don’t wanna!”

“Don’t be mean~”

“I’m not being mean!”

Glint forced Spark backwards until they had missed the doors inside, and slipped into a small alley, almost like an alcove, between two of the buildings. It was when his back hit the wall that he knew he was caught.

Glint pushed in with her chest, using her over-large bosoms to push a hefty weight into Spark’s chest. The moment of fear and playfulness washed out like the cool breeze just picked it up and swept it away.

Time slowed, and they were caught in the silence of each other. Then Glint pressed her lips against her brother’s. She was met with no resistance.

The two of them melded together like nature simply intended for them to be that way. They both relaxed, their ears wilting against their heads. Their breathing slowed, but their hearts were still pounding. They held each other’s hands tightly, yet gently, and pressed together in need, yet embraced each other with love. Their lips had met and didn’t part, locked together in a deep and loving display of affection.

They hardly made a sound, and as their kiss continued, their bodies became warmer. It was what no one knew of. The closeness they felt to each other right at that very moment enthralled them and became their lives, and was as such whenever possible and out of the prying eye of the public. They were as close as close could be, and felt so as one with each other that it seemed all too natural to them. Brother and sister loved one another like a man would a woman, as if their relation mattered very little, if at all.

Glint’s lips left Spark’s only to drift downward and kiss where his neck met his shoulder. Spark’s young, fit body trembled, and he let out an excited, hot panting as his sister’s soft hands moved from their entanglement with his own, and instead to his blue shorts. The Plusle could sense all too well her brother’s excitement, and it fuelled her. She felt more passionate the more worked up Spark got, and slowly trailed kisses down his front-side as she lowered her body to kneel before him.

It wasn’t that their relation to one another didn’t matter. That was actually very far from the truth. Glint and Spark were obviously a different species, assumed to have had two separate fathers, and shared one mother. They were born at the same moment, and had been said to have awoken into the world already embracing one another.

If nothing else, their relation made everything feel so much stronger. No one understood one of them as much as the other did. No one knew how they felt, how they thought, how they acted nearly as well as they knew it. There were no secrets between them, no strife they couldn’t overcome together… the only thing between them was love with the intensity of a bond between two who shared as much as only twins could share.

It was hard to tell when and where that love had blossomed into something so much more than the norm. But since that very second, it had grown to heights unfathomable to most.

Glint eyed the bulge at her brother’s groin with a half-lidded sort of affection, and Spark only watched as his sister smoothed her hand out over the fabric, over the pulsating erection that lay beneath, and panted in his excitement. Glint was agonizingly slow; taking her time to admire her brother’s most intimate of areas. The size of it, the warmth of it, and the way it felt against her hand…

She felt so small whenever she touched it. The feeling never changed since the first time. Spark seemed like so much more to her since they opened up and surrendered their bodies to one another.

She moved on to pull his shorts down, finding that he was wearing his usual faded sky blue boxers. They were a bit snug on him due to his size, but she made him plenty comfortable by tugging those down out of the way as well, and letting his magnificent pink-fleshed manhood spring up into the open air. And it wasn’t long after it was freed that Glint curled her fingers around it and gave a few gentle pumps.

Spark panted a little harder. His sister’s confidence was contagious, and it did the Minun well.

The admiration ended promptly between the two at Glint’s discretion, where she got too impatient staring at her brother’s beautiful cock to hold back any longer. Glint’s eyes lidded over in delight over the succulent morsel between her lips, and she immediately started a gentle pace of bobbing her head, her tongue working over the few inches it could reach.

Spark loved it when his sister pleasured him like that, and she did it often. Pleasure ebbed through his loins as the soft sounds of suckling filled the air like a dirty whisper.

Both couldn’t help but let out soft moans. Glint whimpered around her brother’s length, so excited that she wiggled her hips and rubbed her thighs together. She took him deeper slowly, letting him feel another inch get swallowed up into her mouth. Spark let out a gentle panting, rather quiet, but Glint’s ears picked up on it like little radars, and she was spurred on all the more by it.

Slowly, the two of them sank deeper into their little world.

And then were torn out.

“W… What are you two doing?!”

A third voice shot in from seemingly nowhere, stopping the twins in their tracks. It was a combination of shock and speechlessness reflected in their eyes.

A Golduck, an older male, stood at the end of the small alley and stared at them in equal shock. He was the swimming teacher for the center, and his name was Gabriel. The twins knew him of course, on a somewhat personal and friendly level, as Gabriel did try to be friends with the children there.

But what Gabriel saw shocked him beyond words – so he let his mind do the talking.

“You two shouldn’t be doing stuff like that!” The twins heard in their heads, knowing it to be telepathy. “Quick, come here, both of you.”

They were all frozen for a bit, almost as if the twins hadn’t heard what was spoken directly into their minds. Of course they had, but Gabriel still had to repeat himself to get them to move.

Glint and Spark regained and dressed themselves with as much dignity as they could muster, but they were both shaking.

Their little world was starting to crash down all around them.

Love Polarity – I Miss U
Written by MilkJunkie ( http://www.furaffinity.net/user/milkjunkie/ )

Gabriel took the two and walked with them, and they knew exactly where they were going. They saw it as a principle’s office, though it was really the head of the center, in charge of and responsible for all the children in the center. Anything that happened was on her lap, and this was certainly something that couldn’t just be ignored.

The process was long, and the twins spent a lot of time sitting in front of a large desk that made them seem miniscule. Sparks occasionally flickered from their cheeks, so frightened of the consequences of their actions that they could hardly control the electrical impulses in their bodies.

Some things passed through their minds as they sat there trying not to lose their composure, and trying not to cry. Things like “brothers and sisters shouldn’t do those things” and how “she could go to jail for letting things of that nature carry on.” It all sounded so terrifying to the two young Pokémon. Even if it was unrealistic, they couldn’t help but imagine being locked away for loving one another.

The twins looked at one another, their eyes met, and they both were pained by what they saw. They were so frightened, on the brink of tears, and seeing that look in one another’s eyes made their hearts sink into their queasy stomachs. They felt ashamed at that moment, ashamed for getting caught. How could this happen? Why? Those thoughts ran through their heads over and over and over again, upsetting them further.

They were taken out of the office when they both began to cry. They didn’t know what else to do. They couldn’t stop even when Gabriel took them into the hallway and found them somewhere to sit. He stayed with them to make sure they didn’t do anything reckless, or were teased by the other children, and just watched them.

They held each other as soon as they were out of the office, making them hard to move. He was only partially right.

Glint and Spark could only imagine the inevitable end. The same scene played out in both their minds. They were going to be taken away from one another, separated, forced to withdraw from one another and learn to live without kissing, without making love… without ever acting the same way towards one another ever again… if there was even a chance they would be allowed to see one another again.

After an hour straight of tears, the twins were all dried up. Gabriel looked at them, but remained quiet. They both still held one another tightly, and were whimpering things to one another that no one could really understand. It was sobbed mumbles, though the twins seemed to understand it perfectly.

As they had cried, Gabriel had watched as many other staff members rushed by. It was all over their faces when he caught them.

“Hey… why don’t I get you two something to eat?” Gabriel asked. The twins said nothing in response, and he understood. They felt as if everything was against them at that moment.

“… I’ll be right back.” Gabriel said, getting out of his seat and heading off. In all honesty, it was partially for his own benefit that he got away from the depressing scene for a little while.

They never bothered to eat that meal.

Their plates of food sat in their laps as they stared up in horror.

A Milktank stood before them, with a very wide and motherly figure. She was Mimi, wet-nurse for the younger Pokémon, and very much a mother figure to all the children who had the pleasure of nursing on her rather large bosom during their infant stages.

“I… don’t know how to say this, dears, but… You two are going to be… apart for a while.” She had said. And they knew what that meant, and all colour had drained from their faces as they stared up, not moving, barely breathing. Were they really going to take them away from each other?

Seeing the looks on their faces, Mimi frowned. “I’m very sorry, dears… We’ve tried thinking of everything we could, and we’ve agreed that some time apart would be best for you both.”

Hearing it again drove the nail into the coffin, and Glint wasn’t going to take it sitting down. Spark was of course quiet and simply looked morbidly depressed, but his sister took a very opposite route in her reaction.

She kicked her feet out immediately, her red sneakers with the white bottoms, her favourites, hitting Mimi’s shins. Never in her life would she have thought about hitting Mimi, ever, but she just… reacted.

“NO!” She screamed, startling her brother, whose lower lip seemed to tremble.

“I’m not getting taken away! I love Spark!” She shouted, not sparing any effort on letting everyone on that floor hear her yelling. Of course, many of the staff had hurried out of the office to see what was happening, and when they saw Glint throwing a tantrum, they tried to do what they could to settle her down.

“H-Hun, please…” Mimi said, stifling the pain from being struck so fiercely. Glint responded by shouting and trying to kick Mimi again, but the large bovine moved back before the smaller one’s feet could connect.

“No! No! NO!” The Plusle shouted, grabbing onto her brother tightly and holding him close.

Spark gasped and winced. Glint was so fiercely intent on staying with him that she didn’t realize she was holding him so tightly that it hurt. “Glint… ow…!”

Gabriel stood up and rested a hand on Glint to try and get her to calm down – and she immediately sent a surge of electricity from her body and into his. It was agonizing, but in no way enough to be fatal or too harmful to Gabriel. It was enough to have him jerk his arm back and stumble to the floor.

Being no fools, two Pokémon immediately took Mimi and Gabriel’s place. One was a Geodude, a rock type, the other a Sandslash, a ground. The electricity from Glint and Spark’s bodies would have no effect on them, so they immediately set to work prying the twins away from each other in hopes to diffuse the situation that had caught the attention of nearly everyone on the floor they were on.

When Spark was pulled on, he held tight to Glint even though she was hurting him. He didn’t want to be taken away any more than his sister did, and it was showing as they both tried to shock and electrocute the ones who tried to pull them apart. They only got more frantic and more violent the longer it had no effect.

Their full-on hug was forced to a grasping of hands to one another’s shirts, some ripping, and then they were briefly pulled apart. Both twins scrambled and flailed their arms until their hands found each other’s, and they held on tight again, yelling and screaming every profanity they could possibly think of.

Adults or not, they could not separate them… they just couldn’t!

And yet they did.

Their hands fell apart from one another, and it was at that moment they felt some wave of nausea run over their body. Something had been torn from them. They felt terrible.

“Spark! SPARK!” Glint screamed and shouted, kicking her feet a little as the Geodude picked her up. She broke down; all her energy spent, and just started to cry, weakly struggling. “Put me down…!”

Spark was equally distraught, trying to punch and hit the Sandslash’s claws and arms as they rest firmly wrapped around the boy’s stomach. “Let me go! Let me go!” He said, doing everything he could to not cry or be afraid.

Watching as they were carried off in two separate directions was the longest moment in their young lives. As the distance between them increased, their fight was drained out of them, until they were both limp in their adult’s arms. Even then, they still resisted, becoming dead weight, dragging their heels on the floor. It was embarrassing, humiliating, and crushing for everyone who watched. Many of the staff immediately ushered people out of the hallways, trying to get them to move along and not stare or whisper.

Glint and Spark on the other hand were utterly defeated, and the last thing they saw before simply closing their eyes and letting themselves be dragged anywhere their captor’s pleased was each other – though very far away.

…

It was the first night they had spent apart from each other.

In all of thirteen years of living, they were inseparable… or so people had come to think. That indestructible bond had been severed, and the results were heartbreaking.

They were brought to separate rooms on opposing ends of the complex. They couldn’t have been further from one another, and they felt it. The rooms they were given were singular. There was only one bed with white sheets, one closet with brown doors, one unpainted wooden dresser… The move had been so sudden; they had none of their own belongings for the first night apart. Their rooms were so plain and empty.

Where was the other bed? Where were their coloured sheets? Why weren’t the doors painted red and blue? Why weren’t Glint’s clothes all over the floor? Where were Spark’s books? How were they supposed to play video games together? How were they supposed to wake up on time without the other to rouse them in the morning?

It felt cold in those rooms. Their beds felt hard, and their feet didn’t even feel comfortable against the floor. Things were too different, and their minds couldn’t handle it all. They were so uncomfortable being apart, so agitated with everything that the two of them wasted what energy they had left fussing on their beds. Then they just laid there.

Glint laid on her stomach on the bed, her pillow bundled up in her arms. And by all means she should have slept, but… whenever she tried, she felt… alone.

Spark had the same problem. What was the last thing he had said to Glint?

“Because you know we shouldn’t do stuff like that in front of everyone.”

“What? No!”

“Wait until we get back to our room!”

“I don’t wanna!”

Spark sniffled, raising his legs to hug his knees to his chest, curled up in a little ball as he looked out the window. He whimpered, tears coming to his eyes again, though it was a simple welling, and they trickled down his cheeks, over the blue half-circles, causing little flickers of electricity to crackle.

“I should have told her…” He began to say, his voice shaking, but he was interrupted by a beeping sound. His ears shot up as did his posture, and he immediately looked to the device on his wrist. The green LCD screen was blinking… He had a message!

For the brief moment his heart rose from its sunken crypt and he was overjoyed.
Opening it up, it read:

"i miss u"

It was from Glint. He was surprised to hear from her, even though she was the only one who ever posted messages on his Pokétch. In the commotion it had begun to feel as if he’d never hear from her again, so even that short message made him happy. But what the message said made him so sad… But to overcome those feelings, he immediately sent one back.

"i miss u 2"

Glint sighed at the message like a love-struck teenager… But she felt more like a love-sick puppy. She was still lounged on her bed, though her arms were folded over her pillow and keeping her propped up. She stared at the back-lit screen in the darkness and purred softly. Even that small escape from what had happened was enough to hold her, and to give her hope. Feelings of depression and loneliness lingered, the Plusle right outside their reach… But with that message, she blocked them out.

She wrote another message in short-hand again, and sent it away.

Spark answered as quickly as he could. Glint had timed it. Thirty seconds.

There was no long, drawn out love letters from them… no cheesy poems or sonnets… No movie quotes or anything like that. They were all short, from the heart messages. They replaced words like “you” and “too” with “u” and “2” if for no other reason than to save time. The most common messages back and forth were small, comforting things, like “I love u” and “I wish u were here” and even “I’m cold” and “I hate this bed.” Rarely did they ever pass five or six words, but those small messages gave them the relief they desperately needed.

They messaged each other back and forth until they drifted off to sleep in their uncomfortably new beds. Neither would be certain what the last thing they said to one another was… possibly “goodnight” or something, if one of them even noticed they were about to slip into sleep. Odds were that both were so engrossed with one another that they failed to notice anything at all. They’d both be up in the morning before they realized they had even slept.

…

In the days that followed, the twins attempted to conform to the rules set in place for them, but only in hopes that their co-operation with the adults would bring them closer together. This couldn’t have been more wrong. The adults were more steady than that, and weren’t about to go easy on the two simply because they did as they were told. Glint and Spark were quick to discover that their new schedules were tailored in such a way that the two never even caught a passing glance at one another. They were often kept at separate ends of the school, and they were placed in new classes.

Both were accompanied by someone to supervise them, though since most of the faculty had their own things to worry about, they’d switch out about two times a day. The two of them felt so incredibly out of their element without the other that it had actually begun to fatigue them earlier throughout the day, just trying to cope with life without the other.

Fortunately, the twins were able to keep any prying eyes from their Pokétchs. What was a team without Glint’s brother, or Spark’s sister?

It took them all of three days, including their initial separation, for them to fall out of their outgoing behaviour, and retreat to recluse.

On the forth night of being apart, Spark had snuck out of his room, able to climb out the window and down a tree outside to head around the building, and climb up some opportunely placed vines that grew tangled up the wall right past Glint’s window. Glint however couldn’t let him in… if someone had heard her talking to him in her room, they would have surely looked in, discovered the two, and take to more drastic measures to keep them apart. Neither liked the idea of being in prison or anything similar to it, so Spark stayed outside the window, hanging with his feet snug in a couple strong-standing vines, and holding on to another.

His freed hand rested tenderly on his sister’s cheek as she leaned out the window, and they shared a deep, loving kiss.
They didn’t even say anything throughout the entire time Spark was there. They weren’t crazy… they were in love.

Spark was only wearing his pajamas, and all that consisted of was a pair of blue and white flannel sleeping pants. He was cold in the night air, but he didn’t mind it for a second as he spent his time with Glint, who had dressed in only a pink nightie and some panties.

The fact that Spark had the bravery to sneak out of his room, then climb down a tree, and then up a wall just to see Glint had the Plusle’s heart aflutter. She knew deep down that her brother was crazy about her, just as she was about him.

When the kiss broke, Glint wrapped her arms around Spark and held him for as long as she could. She rested her chin on his shoulder and held his warm body against her own. They nuzzled cheeks for a moment, blue spot on red spot, causing sparks and crackles between them.

They stayed like that until Spark’s arm felt tired. Glint woefully let him go, and they said their quiet goodnights, and Spark climbed down the wall again and made his way back to his room. Their eyes never separated for a moment until they could not see one another anymore, and Spark sure took his time making his way around the building. That night, when they slept, memories of that moment filled their minds, and they dreamed about one another.

It was within the next twenty-four hours that things got worse.

Spark had sent Glint a message at lunch time, hoping that she would get it, wherever she was. There was no room in his brain for whatever they wanted – all he could think about was why Glint might not have answered.

Maybe she’d gotten hurt? If he was there, she’d never have gotten hurt. Or what if her supervision was watching her more intently for some reason? He hated that idea too. He got angry at the thought that she was being pestered every minute of every day by the watchful eyes of the adults. He was really starting to hate adults. He hated lying to them about what his Pokétch was and why it beeped so many times a day. He hated answering their questions, and hated how they had to almost force him to get out of bed every morning. He knew that they were only doing what they thought was right… But they weren’t right, and it made him so angry he thought he would hurt someone. Spark never, ever thought he would hurt someone.

So after school, when he retreated to his room, Spark waited. It was the adults, Mimi, Gabriel, and head of the center he had to look out for - though he was sure the ‘principle’ never, ever left her office.

Spark raced across the building and up one floor in record time to find Glint’s room. He couldn’t cry just then… he had to see what was wrong.

So he waited. When he did though, and moved in the opposite direction, Spark sprung into action like a ninja.

He crept up as silent as a mouse and he walked right up to Glint’s bedroom door to see something sitting on the “guard’s” chair that made his heart sink.

It was Glint’s Pokétch.

Spark reached out and scooped it up in both hands as if it were a precious artefact, and stared at it for a while. There were lots of sweet things said, and plans to see each other again outside the window… But looking at them all, Spark checked the times they were last looked at, and then checked his own time on his own Pokétch.

All of them were checked in the past fifteen minutes.

Spark was a smart one, probably the smarter of the two if it really came down to it, so he knew what that meant. But his mind immediately went to the window, and he hurried off again.

Spark was outside and around the side of the building in no time, only to stare up and see someone cutting the vines that scaled the wall. After closing it again, he used his cruddy mattress as a punching bag for about five minutes.

He was interrupted by a knocking at his door. He stopped, panted and caught his breath, and wiped his tears from his eyes and sniffled up his sadness before he would answer. Gabriel stood outside, in his usual tank-top and shorts.
Gabe looked down at Spark, and Spark stared up at him.

“Spark…” Gabe said, holding out a webbed hand. He didn’t say anything after that, watching as the boy’s expression drowned in sorrow.

Spark slowly unclasped his Pokétch from his wrist and handed it over to Gabriel. As soon as the watch exchanged hands, Spark stepped back and slammed his door so hard that it knocked a picture loose on the wall in the hallway, causing it to fall and shatter.

The shattering glass reminded Gabriel of just how things were going, as far as Glint and Spark were concerned. From what he heard, Glint had reacted in much the same way - only louder. He felt bad for the kids, he really did… Gabe hated seeing them get put through that.

He left to meet Mimi in the hallway. She swayed over to him with Glint’s Pokétch in her hand. She handed it off to him, both of them unable to say or do much other than look visibly grim over the whole ordeal. If anyone didn’t want to see the twins upset and torn apart like they were, it was Gabe and Mimi.

“Poor kids…” Mimi said after a lingering silence.

Gabe nodded and sighed. “I know… but it’s for their own good. What they were doing before… it’s… not right.”

“I know… I think.” Mimi said as she turned and they both set off down the hall. “But… I’m not sure.”

Looking surprised, the Golduck looked at the Miltank. “Seriously? You’re questioning that?”

Mimi shook her head. “No, I know that… brother and sister being intimate like that is wrong. If they were caught when they were older… who knows what could happen? But watching them lately… I just can’t help but feel like we did something wrong.”

“I heard that Stacey was going to call in a Psychiatrist.” Gabe said. “Maybe that’ll help.”

“I sure hope so.” Mimi said. “I’m starting to worry about them… They’re not eating as much or leaving their rooms or anything.”

Mimi had good reason to worry…

… Because the next morning, neither Glint nor Spark got out of bed.

Love Polarity – Sick Without You
Written by MilkJunkie ( http://www.furaffinity.net/user/milkjunkie/ )

\t“You’re running a really bad fever.”

\tGlint laid all snug in her covers, an extra blanket having been draped over her body.

\tWhen she had gone to bed that night, she felt overly cold and overly depressed. She had her Poketch taken away… and they cut off what little opportunity she had to see Spark again just like that… It made her feel like she’d never see him again, and was imprisoned in some sort of tower. It was nothing as dramatic as that, but she wanted her prince to save her… And she kept chanting that over and over through her own tears until she fell asleep.

\tWhen she woke up, she felt awful… But that was just perfect as far as she was concerned. It was the little cherry on the sundae she’d been served. When someone came in to check on her, she told them that she wasn’t feeling well. Of course they first thought she was lying, but she looked all worn out, sweaty, and burnt up, so they fetched one of the nurses.

\tThe nurse, a Chansey of course, did a quick little routine check-up, and found that Glint’s body temperature was high above normal. She didn’t show any other symptoms of sickness, like a cough or a runny nose or anything… But just to be safe, she instructed that Glint stayed in her room and got plenty of rest and drinks plenty of water. If anything were to progress as far as sickness went, whoever was watching the Plusle would be instructed to inform the clinic immediately.

\tThe peculiar thing about it all was that across the building, Spark was stuck in bed as well. The nurse had also checked on him, and he had a high fever too, for no real explicable reason. The instructions were still the same though… If anything happened, the clinic would be informed, and a nurse would come running. They had such a dedicated staff, and with the number of kids in the center, it was quite a bit of work to take care of them all – especially if a bug hit the center and large groups got all sick all at once.

\tBut it was hardly flu season and allergies never gave anyone fevers, so the number of sick Pokemon was few, and that was fortunate for the twins. The nurses were able to look after them rather promptly.

\tSitting outside Glint’s room, Gabriel was talking on his cell. Being a little into his twenties, he was a rather… prime specimen.

\t“Really? He’s sick too? That’s weird.” Gabe said.

\tMimi sat outside Spark’s room, taking the morning shift with him. The kids, young and old, could open up to her, and the adults liked her a lot.

\t“It’s very strange.” She said, brushing some of her black bangs away from her eyes. “But I’ve read books about twins and how they’re connected… maybe this isn’t just some sort of coincidence.”

\t“You’re talking crazy now.” Gabe said over the line. “One of them can’t get sick just because the other one does.”

\t“Who says? I’ve read that sometimes twins can know what each other are thinking. Maybe they’re psychically linked somehow.” Mimi said with a sigh. “I’ve heard them finish each other’s sentences before…”

\t“You’re talking about psychic links to a psychic.” Gabe said flatly.

\t“I know, but still… Don’t you think this is all too strange? The two of them have been acting like one person for their whole lives.”

\tGabe knew that was true. Gabe didn’t want to believe that the twins were so in sync with one another… but the evidence was there.

\tAnd if anyone knew how Glint and Spark acted since day one, it was Mimi. She had them suckling on her teats at the same time plenty when they were kids. They started, paused, and finished at the same time – give or take a second or two at most. Strangely, they both had a habit of biting too, though luckily they lacked teeth back then.

\t“Well I’m going to get Glint some water.” Gabe said. “I’ll talk to you later.”

\tThe two of them were put on diets of water, chicken soup, and a lot of naps for the remainder of the day. Glint’s chipper attitude had been demolished, and Spark’s more reserved personality had turned into a full-blown avoidance of interaction.

\tThe day after that, they got worse.

\tIt happened around lunchtime. They barely even spoke about it either… it seemed the only thing they had the energy to do was roll over in bed and turn their backs to the adults to avoid speaking to them.

\tNeither of the twins even cared about how sick they were. If Gabe, Mimi, and the rest of the adults weren’t going to co-operate with them, the twins saw no reason to be co-operative themselves.

\tThe fourth day into their sickness, and over a week since they had been separated, Stacey had a professional therapist called in. They were hailed discreetly, since anything of this nature would have drawn the attention to the media, and soon the center would be known as a place of… odd circumstances. No one would trust them anymore. That was the last thing Stacey wanted.

\tEinrich, an Espeon, was the expert called in, He wasn’t all that old, though not young, and spoke with a rather thick accent that was unable to be pinned. It seemed like Russian, but could have equally been Ukraine, or something of the sort. He dressed rather professionally, in a simple pair of fine black slacks and a white button-up shirt. He was a very calm and collected individual, and had a little goatee beard and short hair, with sideburns. His hair was a darkish brown, looking out of place on his pale purple body.

\tHe entered Glint’s room first. The Plusle didn’t even look at him or acknowledge his presence… She just laid there, facing away from the door, her back to him. She was unclothed beneath the covers, and barely bothered to cover herself… She just didn’t care anymore. She was so angry and upset that she’d turned to apathy… something certainly uncharacteristic of the Plusle’s normally chipper attitude.

\t“Hello little one.” Einrich said. He got no answer. He didn’t expect to from what he had been told, so he simply pulled a seat in from outside and settled in next to Glint’s bed. “Your name… Glint, was it?”

\tAgain, he got no answer. She only shifted somewhat. He knew she heard him however, so he continued.

\t“I hear you are feeling under the weather.” He said, just waiting as if she had responded, and continued. “When did this start?”

\tGlint kept her silence, not budging for a second. This guy wasn’t getting a peep out of her. She’d die first.
\t“I also hear you have a brother. What is his name?” Einrich asked.

\t“Spark.”

\tGlint had actually answered, though quietly. Her voice was muffled from her facing away and being all tucked in under the covers. Einrich saw this as an immediate opening. He had actually planned on her answer, and was glad that she hadn’t thrown him some sort of curve ball.

\t“Where is he now?” Einrich said, looking around.

\t“Gone. They took him away.” Glint answered briefly.

\t“Who? Who took him away?” Einrich probed.

\t“Stupid adults.” Glint mumbled back.

\tEinrich kept prodding the subject. He had been in that room for well into four hours by the time they came on to that topic.

\tGlint had been worked over so well that she just… spilled. Everything she thought about Spark was leaving her lips before she was even the slightest bit inclined to stop them. She’d only ever stopped them before in knowing that people wouldn’t understand or accept what she had to say, or what she thought… But even if Einrich didn’t care, she was going to make him hear it. She had actually turned around and lay on her back, covered up as she went on and on about Spark.

\tSpark was the only person that knew her as deeply as she wanted a lover to know her. There was something about the thought of standing up and letting the world know just how much you love a particular person that Glint seemed to adore… And Spark was the only person she felt that way towards, and not only that, but he was the only one who felt that way about her.

\tShe loved everything about him. It just didn’t seem fair.

\tAs she went on though, her breathing was becoming more rapid, and she was getting more flushed. Maybe that’s why she revealed it at such length.

\tAfter a while, Einrich sat back and looked at her. “… How long have you wanted to say that to someone?” He asked.

\tGlint didn’t answer right away. She was hesitant for the first time in a long time.

\t“… Forever.” She finally said after a few minutes of silence. “I’ve wanted to… forever.”

\tWith that, Einrich took his leave. His next destination was Spark’s room. He kept himself reserved, and many people watched as he went from Glint’s room to Spark’s without stopping for a second. Many people could just… sense how he felt. He was determined to get to the bottom of these two, though why he wanted to so badly was anyone’s guess.

\tGabriel and Mimi were particularly interested in the man. They wanted to just go watch and see what he did, but were unable to, not to mention not allowed to. So they could only wonder what the Espeon was capable of.

\tEinrich’s time with Spark was very similar to his time with Glint. But sometimes in that field of work, some harsh play was what was necessary.

\t“I miss her so much!” Spark shouted, bursting into tears. “I want her back; I don’t wanna stay here without her anymore!”

\t“I understand, Spark. It’s hard living without your family.” Einrich said, chewing on the end of his pencil as he recorded in his notebook what was happening.

\t“It’s not that…” Spark said, sniffling. “I mean, it is, but… Glint’s… not just my family. I love Glint more than anything in the entire world. Ever.”

\tEinrich perked a brow and simply prodded that a little more. Like the Plusle had, Spark soon just started blabbing. The words were barely filtered through the boy’s mind before they left his mouth… But that was perfect. It was precisely the reaction that the Espeon had been hounding the boy for, for almost an hour.

\tSpark’s words matched Glint’s very well. She always wanted to damn the consequences of anything… And she was the one who would encourage him to push forwards when things seemed really bad.

\tIn the situation he was in, not having Glint around nearly halted him entirely.

\tSpark knew that Glint sort of hated it, how he relied on her so much for that sort of thing. He couldn’t imagine anyone else knowing him as well as she did, and still wanting to love him as much as she did.

\tGlint was more than a sister to Spark. She was his fire, his passion, his reason.

\tAnd from what Einrich heard before, Glint saw Spark in much the same way.

\tOne seemed completely in love with what was outside, and the other loved what was inside, and together they created a bond of shared understanding between one another, bridging those perspectives together.

\tEinrich watched as Spark groaned and rolled over in bed, feeling too ill to continue. The Espeon stood from his seat then and left the room. He stretched his back as he left, and looked to his side to see a Chansey preparing a moist cloth for Spark. Einrich smiled somewhat to her and rested his hand on her shoulder, getting her attention.

\t“They’ll be no need for that. I’ve reached a diagnosis.”

\tEinrich collected all the parties involved with the incident and brought them together in one place. They all sat at a large meeting room table, waiting to hear what the Espeon could say to shed some light on the answer to their problem. What he said shocked them.

\t“My diagnosis… is love sickness.” He said.

\tEveryone looked rather confused to unbelieving.

\tThe Geodude crossed his arms and scowled. “Love sickness. That’s ridiculous. That doesn’t exist, it’s an unreal diagnosis.”

\t“Hear me out.” Einrich said. “It has been exhibited before in many cases between two lovers that they can grow attached to one another. Like every attachment or condition between two people, this can reach an extreme. Call it an obsession, if you will. A stalker following one person is a one-sided example to such a thing. But in this case and many others, two people deeply in love can be obsessed with one another as well.”

\t“So this is just an obsession?” Gabriel asked.

\t“Not quite. Their answers to my questions were very different from any I had heard before. They don’t sound addicted.” Einrich said as he leaned against the table, planting his hands on it. “These two see one another not as brother and sister, but as a man and a woman. They’ve ascended beyond what we would normally perceive people as. This seems to have much to do with their relation itself - The fact that they’re twins.”

\t“They’re linked.” Mimi said.

\t“Precisely.” Einrich nodded. “Many, many studies have been performed over the years on twins, and many cases document that twins share some innate ability in most cases that ‘links’ them together. Scientifically we account this to their shared genetics. They are both so alike in the way their brain patterns perform that they know more about one another than any other living being on the planet. Glint and Spark seem to have taken this as a foundation for their affections.”

\tMimi thought for a moment, her bottom lip pouted. “… So throughout their entire lives, they’ve really only had each other.”

\t“That’s not true.” Said the Sandslash. “We take care of them like they were our own.”

\t“But they know they’re not our own.” Gabriel said with a slight sigh. “It’s too obvious to them, and so…”

\t“They’re not stupid.” Einrich said. “In fact, they’re rather brilliant. They do know that their only real family in this building is one another. They’ve been building their lives together since they were born… They are both very crucial parts in how they have grown and developed, and how they live. Taking one away from the other would be like pulling the bottom corner out of a pyramid of canned soups at a grocery store.”

\t“It all comes crashing down.” Mimi said sorrowfully.

\t“Exactly.” Einrich said, looking to each of them. “And at the pace it is going now, they will not be able to rebuild that. Their critical stages of forming life-long relationships have passed, and what they have made is a life with one another. So the outcome looks very obvious.”

\tEveryone looked at one another. None looked too hopeful.

\t“Either you keep them separate and pray to whomever or whatever you believe in that they will get better, risking their physical and mental well-being or even their lives… Or you allow them to continue.” Einrich said.

\tEveryone knew that to be true.

\tEveryone turned to the head of the table, where Stacey sat. In that light, it was obvious to see what she was… as far as species went. The Spiritomb looked to be rather deep in thought. The decision wasn’t going to be easy…

\t…

\tHours passed. But before long, a decision was made.

\tGabriel walked into Spark’s room and looked down at him. He then turned and left the room.

\tMoving into the light of the hallway, Spark’s eyes squinted and fluttered open. He closed them tightly again as he was happening to look right past Gabe’s beak and into a light on the ceiling. He turned and rested his head against Gabe’s chest and mumbled.

\t“… Where are we going…?”

\tGabe didn’t answer, maybe he didn’t hear.

\t“Nn… Gabe… Where…?”

\tSpark felt too weak to really work out the words again, so he let himself be carried.

\tWherever he went, it was far. He then moved to get under the covers, and soon opened his eyes to look around and see where he was.

\tIt was his old room.

\tHis blue dresser was across the room from him, and he saw his TV in the dark, and could barely make out what was all over the floor. He paused in his movements and his ears perked up.

\tHe rubbed his leg against the other for a moment, just to make sure it wasn’t his. It sure wasn’t. It was softer, smoother, and very familiar. He immediately turned onto his other side, and smiled.

\tGlint was there. There was a lingering silence between the two as they just stared at one another, though it was broken by a beeping sound.

\tSpark’s ears perked and he looked down at the Poketch on his wrist. He had a message.

\tGlint just smiled at him, her cheeks flushing red.

\tSpark smiled back and opened up the message. It read:

"<3"

\tSpark blushed deeply at that and lay back down in bed, pushing in against his sister. Their hands met and entwined, and they pushed against each other’s bodies, their noses brushing against one another.

\t“I love you too.” Spark said, making Glint blush profusely.

\tTheir lips met then in a loving kiss, locking into place and not daring to let go for anything.

\tStanding at the door, Mimi smiled. “They’re precious.”

\t“I suppose they are.” Gabriel said with a nod.

\t“Let’s leave them alone.” Mimi said, closing the door and turning to Gabriel.

\tGabriel nodded and stepped with her as they went to walk away.

\t“So… we’re doing the right thing, right?” Gabriel asked.

\t“If we aren’t, then Stacey told us to.” Mimi said with a giggle.

\tGabe chuckled and walked along in silence for a few moments. “… So… want to get a coffee or something?”

\tMimi paused and turned to Gabriel with a playful glint in her eye. “My, aren’t you a little young for me, dear? I’m almost old enough to be your mother.”

\t“If I’ve learned anything from all of this, it’s that things like age are just a hurdle.” Gabe said with a little smile.
\tMimi looked at him for a while with a little smile of her own.

\t“Alright. I’d love one.”",
