But she never really anticipated what being with Milkie would open her up to. The guy leads a sort of care-free lifestyle, the sort where things don't have to get overly complicated. This is in part due to his laziness, but even she can't deny that drama is way too much effort. It's a relaxed relationship, and even so it's brimming with such love and affection that without having to get flowers every day or go to expensive restaurants, Leila knows she's cared for.
The real kicker is the sex. Leila's sexual experiences were few, and it was obvious when getting with Milkie that not only was he interested about going down that avenue, but so was she. The way she felt toward him - how hot and bothered he got her - was actually surprising. But Milkie's just the right kind of guy to let her have free reign of that.
