Big burly knight-like enemies... and WindWaker had my personal favorite rendition. So, I decided to commission MellowCryptid on Discord for a custom TOTK Darknut!\n\nCenturies ago, the Royal Family of Hyrule trained these bipedal canines to serve as their military. They could learn swordfighting in record time, couldn't vocally argue with their trainers, and were easy to care for. However, they did have issues with shorter lifespans and could be felled easily if their armor was stripped or pierced. To preserve their army, Darknuts were sealed in stasis chambers until their awakening was set.\n\nHowever, one such Darknut was left forgotten, never awoken... until the Uprising. His armor had decayed, with only a necklace made from pieces of the dragon Farosh retaining its integrity. Upon waking, he was almost overtaken with Gloom, as shown by a ring of red around one of his blue eyes. Despite this mild corruption, he made it to safety, where he encountered a team of explorers. Instinct bid him to protect the Hylians in the Depths. The captain of the team gave him a sword, and decided to address him as Udall.\n\nUdall, unlike most Darknuts, is rather shy with people. The majority of his feet is stained white, indicating he is submissive and sexually attracted to feet. This knowledge is not unnoticed by the explorer team, who allow him to indulge when they're at rest.\n\nOutside of that, though, he is incredibly strong and fierce, going up against all manner of monsters. However, he is very wary around Link due to Ganon's influence, resisting the urge to treat him as a threat.\n\nLike all Darknuts before him, Udall is castrated to control his temperament. This does mean he cannot reproduce with any female, making him very valuable to the Hylian forces. They protect him just as much as he does them.",
