She vows to get him one day, but settles for just sending letters and presents every now and then through a neutral third-party courier.\n\nI really couldn't decide on the species until I remember a certain someone had a thick sheep character that brings me to my knees every time. I got inspired and here she is. The is the evil warlord who's hopelessly in love with our hapless panda boy. Every spare moment she has is dedicated to snatching him up, bringing him to her evil castle hidden in the mountain tops, and making him her king, (in more ways than one.)\n\nWent through many iterations, but we made it. So in my universe Bastian, my tiny panda man has an unfortunate property about him: People are drawn to him, and he doesn't know why. Random bandits, monsters, and sometimes, insanely-powerful overlords who just so happen to be on the level of a Final Boss, (if we were to put this in video game terms anyway.) These are the kind of people who command armies and work to control the fate of the world on a daily basis. One of them unfortunately happened spot our big-dicked panda on one of her raids and now he has her full attention. (This was about the time I started trying to design said Overlord, as you can see above. I didn’t think any of them particularly fit, so this has been left on my Patreon for like a half a year. This and other sketches I hate are available only there, in case you didn’t know. She even invites Maxim and says can they tour the castle and whatnot. She’s extremely bashful the entire time, stumbling over her words, sweating, and quiet yelling at her off-screen servants to fan her harder so that she looks her best. Maxim, (who can literally smell her evil from across the world,) politely, but awkwardly declines. He appreciates her politeness and doesn’t want the rejection to come across too harsh. He also throws in the little detail that he’s entirely aware that once they’re in her castle, they’re basically screwed since she could set up any number of ambushes. But she’s totally upfront about that along with the fact that Bastian’s just not leaving once he gets there. He’ll be her King, and be showered with love, wealth, and anything he’ll ever need, and the two will live happily ever after. Of course, she’s evil and had to murder and conquer half the world to get that shit, so both Bastian and Maxim are like, ‘yyyyeaaah, no.’ To which she says:\n\n[url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Epe75JrJr4g]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Epe75JrJr4g[/url]\n\nAnd in a fit of horny evil, she starts licking the crystal ball like a weirdo, immediately realizes how weird that is, and hurriedly drafts a sincere, heartfelt apology letter along with as many apology chocolates and candies she can muster. (Maxim might’ve broken the crystal ball after that little display.)\n\nFrom that point on, she’s always watching him. Scrying from halfway across the world using her own crystal ball. She has a third-party (non-evil) courier frequently sending him letters and small gifts, none of which are traps or evil in slightest, genuinely. She promised she would never do anything that could even remotely put her little love in danger. She also doesnt’ want to run the risk Maxim just confiscating whatever she sends. She just wants to interact with Bastion and hopefully get to know him. And now (even though Maxim is extremely reluctant about it,) the two are basically just penpals. She’s always updating him on what she’s doing that day, or giving him advice/books on how to study magic, and it’s extremely wholesome. The latest letter was her musing about wanting to learn an instrument. Bastian plays cello. She’s aware of this and would love to duet with him one day, but she’s worried she’s too old to start learning and thinks it might be a waste of time. He assures her it’s never too late and that he’s positive she has the talent for it if she would just apply herself.
