Story!
When the clock chimed midnight, Megan reached up and pulled a balloon down. Bright red, with "Happy Birthday Torsten!" printed in silver text, she watched it bob and sway slightly in the air-conditioning. "Did you have a happy birthday, Torsty?"
Torsten, seated on the sofa next to her, looked up and grinned. "Best one ever!"
Megan smiled back and booped him lightly on the nose with a finger. "You say that every year."
"And every year it's true," he said. "With so many friends to help be celebrate, how could it be otherwise?"
Relaxing her fingers, Megan let the balloon fly back up as she cast an eye over the detritus of the party. In place of the huge double-layer chocolate cake that had been sat a platter full of crumbs. Plastic cups littered every flat surface in the room, surrounded by crumped wrapping paper from the presents. Enough to keep her cleaning for a good while. Humming softly, she gulped back the last of her wine and stood, a trifle unsteadily, and tossed the cup at the trash. "Sooner started, sooner done. Eh, fluffbutt?"
"You're sure you don't mind staying behind and helping out?" Torsten said.
Megan plucked the balloon again, enjoying the way it bounced against the ceiling. "It's my pleasure, dear. Besides, all of the dishes are mine. The ones not made of plastic, anyway."
Torsten stood, before promptly flopping back down again. "Can I have a minute? I dunno where you got that wine, bunny, but it's strong stuff."
"Sounds good to me." Megan went to sit down again, but tripped over her own feet and landed sprawling in Torsten's lap instead.
The bigger hybrid grunted softly. "Woah there, bun. Easy!"
Glancing up at him, Megan gave Torsten a contrite smile. "Sorry. I guess the wine's a bit stronger than I'm used to, as well." She made no effort to move, however, snuggling into his warmth.
After a moment, Torsten put his arms around her, holding her close. "You did that on purpose, didn't you?"
Megan wriggled a bit, to get more comfortable. "Not at first, but this is nice. The cleanin'll wait 'til morning. How about we just find the late movie and stay here for a bit."
He nuzzled her ear. "Sounds good to me."
Rooting around under piles of wrapping paper, Torsten produced the remote and flicked the televsion on. Tense music filled the room, and an actor in shaggy werewolf costume stalked a frightened actress through a dark forest.
Laughing, Megan reached up to scritch Torsten's cheek fluff. "As far as big bad wolves go, he's got nothin' on you."
When Torsten didn't answer, Megan glanced up at him. It was clear, even in the flickering light, that the big hybrid's attention wasn't focused on the screen, but somewhere further down insteaed. At that same moment, Megan became acutely aware of a slight chill around her lower half. Without her noticing, Megan's short skirt had rucked up around her waist, leaving her lower half bare.

"Call it one last birthday present." Tilting her head back, Megan kissed him, while at the same time she guided his hand down between her legs.
