Also because I love finding out about Christmas traditions from around the world.\n\nLas Posadas is celebrated in Mexico from December 16th to the 24th, in most places. Where Paco lives, it is celebrated from the 12th, right after the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. This is why I released it today. It is usually celebrated with an re-enactment of the journey of Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem and their search for a place to stay. This song is usually sung during that re-enactment.\n\nLas Posadas literally means The Shelters. The words detail the journey of the Holy Couple from Inn to Inn, trying to find a place to stay.
