"description": "Originally, I was going to try and do the backing vocals for this as well. But after two weeks of battling with the chords and trying to arrange it for six voices, I gave up and went with the backing vocals provided with the backing track.\n\n@Kresblain says this is the first Motown song I've ever done, and he's probably right. Not because I don't like Motown, but honestly I didn't think I could do Motown justice.\n\nMy strongest memory regarding this song was when I lived in NYC. I went down to the Battery Park area I think on the 4th of July. There was a puppetry troupe performing down there, all black men with crow puppets. When they did a lipsync to this using those puppets, I was mesmerized. And to top it off, they had no stage. They just held the puppets over their heads. My eyes were glued on the puppets, and not on the performers. It was amazing!!
