  "description": "Walking in the woods on an overcast and moody day there is a gust of warm wind which carries a funny smell to your nose. You glance about but hear nothing but creaking of foliage. The dark shadow stalks you. You aren't quite sure when you realise the danger, but your pace steadily quickens. Soon you are running as fast as you can across the uneven ground. Leaping over low fences. Narrowly dodging bushes. A tree root is slightly higher than you realise and sends you into a painful roll. The world spins as you stare out at it. Your heart pounding in your chest. In the distance a bird takes to the skies as the shadow pounces. You see the creature for moments before the jaws come down on you.\n\n---\n\nMy rendition of a terror dog. Experimented with a few new effects in this scene, including various blur effects, glow effects and sub surface scattering. It was rendered entirely in blender with no post-processing at all outside of blender's compositor. It uses both cycles rendering engine and blenders internal renderer. Total render + composite time was 4 mins 18.69 seconds using a mix of CPU and GPU rendering. (Only cycles supports GPU rendering, not blender's internal renderer.) Total faces was 16052.\n\nThis particular image is not done with, I intend to actually make an animation of this story. Her jaws are coming for you. Watch this space :)",
