An Officer in TrainingLike any Nekuomimi, Myei grew up being prepared for an eventual career within the grand military of the empire. Though her career was chosen by her being born into the academy, she had always felt more of a scientist. Her mother was a distant one though and did not try to support such a divergent from her destined career. As a brood mother, her goal was to create more officers for the naval fleet of their Empire. Yet the curious little feline could not let go of that desire to explore and learn. When she learned about the planet called 'Earth', her interest in learning more of it grew and the strange Earthlings that lived upon the planet. However, Myei's scientific interests weren't high on the priority list in her life. As an offspring of the Cadet Academy, Myei went through the classes of what they will need to know to be proper officers. The expected etiquettes of officers in her Majesty's Navy. The countless of battle and tactical simulations to prepare for leading the ships of the fleet. Whether she wanted or not, the Academy was the only way for her to progress in her life. The Nekuomimi swallowing her distaste and focusing on the work that needed in her studies.
Myei would eventually forgot her own desire to be a scientist and focus instead on excelling in the courses of the academy. The training rigorous and the studies hard but she stayed determined. She did not want to be merely another number in the Naval Officer Corps as she worked hard; her goal to pass the tough Naval Command exam that practically designated a Nekuomimi into what role she would be assigned to in the navy for their career. Though Myei succeed in reaching a high enough score to be assigned to the Officer Corps rather than naval marine or a simple crew member onboard the ship she's assigned to. A momentous event in her life even if it was expected from her as a Daughter of Phobos. Through her strife and challenges, Myei still did not forget her thoughts of learning more of Earth that she had studied up on in her classes. Her studies having let her know more details of the planet that was mostly covered in the life giving fluid known as water; the great continents that rested on its surface and was home to the young species. Younger compared to how long their history class states of their own. They were.. intriguing to her despite her kind looking down on the 'humans' of Earth.
