Is that you?\"\n\nThe cat shifts, a pair of brilliant purple eyes opening and looking at her. \"Oh, hey there, Jackie! Must've dozed off waiting for you, sorry about that… Hope you don't mind some company!\" Sitting up on the bed, then pulling himself to standing, he walks over and pulls her into a warm hug, which she readily reciprocates!\n\n\"You goofball, you know I'd never say no to a visit from you!\" Jackie's whiskers twitch as she snuggles closely to the feline – At four-foot-eleven, she only stands to the six-foot-one cat's chest, but neither of them mind the difference in height. Nor do either of them mind the fact they're both wearing very little; Lysergia has on naught more than a pair of purple boxers, while Jackie is wearing even less than that, rocking her birthday suit!\n\n\"Speaking of which,\" Ly says while reading the narration, \"Happy birthday, Jackie!\"\n\nThe mouse tilts her head in confusion for a moment before realizing what just happened, and she facepalms and laughs softly. \"You and your fourth-wall-breaking… Thank you, ya dork.\"\n\nThe feline smirks, gently mussing Jackie's long brown hair. \"Of course! I hope your day wasn't too obnoxious for you; I get the feeling you're ready to take it easy, though?\" He tilts his head as he asks \"Perhaps I could help with that?\"\n\nJackie's thoughts wander back to her idea for tonight – There's little better than having a quiet evening to one's self… But sharing an evening with a close, beloved friend is one of those few things that would beat it!\n\n\"I'd love that! Relaxing sounds really nice right about now, being honest – Especially with you, cutie-butt!\"\n\nLy chuckles quietly, giving his rump a wiggle. \"It is a cutie butt, isn't it? But that's beside the point – Why don't we get comfy?\"\n\nLowering down, the feline wraps his arms around Jackie's midsection, lifting her easily off the ground. I'd never feel right if I felt like I was taking advantage of you in an inebriated state.\"\n\nBlushing, the mouse gives him a quick peck on the cheek before saying \"You know… That's one of the things I love most about you. I feel safe with you; I know you'd never do anything without my permission, and even if it's something we both know we enjoy, I do deeply appreciate you ensuring I'm able to consent and think clearly before starting anything like that.\" She smooches his nose. \"You're a wonderful friend, Ly; I want you to know that.
