I'll be fine, honest.\"\n\nLurdanjo narrowed his eyes slightly. \"C'mon, I know I saw something. Just want to make sure you're okay. Please, let me see it.\"\n\n\"You might not like what you see,\" the long eared draconid warned, slowly lowering his hand. A vertical tear in the flesh showed no red stains or bleeding as Danji would have expected, just a small amount of translucent blue goo. As sunlight poured in through a nearby window, it reflected blindingly off of something under the skin.\n\nDanji gasped softly as he stepped closer for a better look. In lieu of the mortal injuries and viscera he had expected, Harki's injury revealed a dark blue mesh substance that outlined the thin yet toned muscles of his torso, giving off an unnatural sheen. Just beyond that, it was interwoven with glimmering chrome that resembled bone structure, with hints of elaborate wiring and circuit tracing.\n\n\"I will understand if you wish to not associate with me any longer,\" Harki stated plainly, his long ears drooping, his voice filled with lamentation.\n\nThe red draconid put a hand to his chest, taking a couple deep breaths as he attempted to make sense of what he was seeing. \"Wait, I don't understand... why do you have mechanical parts underneath? What happened?\"\n\nHarki raised his head, tilting it with one eye quirked in curiosity. \"I am a fully synthetic, bio-mimetic android designed to resemble a typical organic human. My directive is one of peace and love. I would never cause any harm to you, please believe me! Don't tell others...\" His voice trailed off with worry.\n\nLurdanjo stepped even closer. \"An android... oh gods, wow! But... how is that even possible?\"\n\nHarki's lips curled into a small smile. \"You don't seem afraid of me. I feared that you would despise me after witnessing my true nature.\"\n\n\"Despise you? Are you kidding?\" Danji grinned softly, curling one leg over the other as he stood just a couple feet away from his friend. \"If anything... I think I like you even more now!\"\n\nThe green draconid smiled sweetly, offering a hand. \"Come with me.
