"description": "\"Hello. I am an angel. Merkabah.\"\n\nYou cannot trust a person who wears a mask over their face.\nBut what if the mask is their face in the first place?\n\n\nName: Merkabah, the Celestial Chariot\nGender/Sex: Neutal (referred to as male), neutral\nAge: Likely thousands of years old\nSpecies: Celestial, Seraphim\nHabitat: Stratos, the First Sphere of the Celestial Realm\nAlignment: Lawful Dark\nPersonality: Ominous, curious, judgmental, superior, self-righteous, vain\nOrientation: Unknown\nLikes: Moral experiments, observing people, his selfish “justice”\nDislikes: Anything and anyone that has been tainted by even the slightest bit of sin.\n\nMerkabah, titled “the Celestial Chariot,” is one of the highest-ranked angels in the Celestial Realm, residing in Stratos, the first Sphere.\n\nMerkabah is an ominous Celestial.\nHe deems himself as perfect and infallible in the sense that he knows no sin. As he constantly sees the flaws in others, he has developed a superiority complex, referring mortals condescendingly to as “downers” and those who submit themselves to even the slightest of sin as “filth,” the latter of which he deems beyond salvation, and punishes through death.\n\nBecause he’s ignorant to the evil within his own heart, he does not understand mortals. To him, they are plentiful, easily replaced and ultimately meaningless.\nAt the same time, he’s fascinated by their behavior and enjoys observing them, even if he quickly grows annoyed at their ramblings, killing them soon after out of annoyance.\n\nHe views Celestials as the perfect race, devoid of evil and sin, and everything and everyone who does not fit within that vision of perfection have no right to exist.\nHe secretly desires to rule over the Celestial Realm, as he feels that the gods are inadequate at their job of purging everything evil.\nIn reality, he cannot fathom the humanity of the gods, who understand that darkness is an aspect of the mortal nature that defines them who they are.\nAs he’s a high-ranking angel, Merkabah chooses not to disobey the gods, however, and rarely acts out on his own impulses, choosing to bide his time until he can claim his godhood.\n\nMerkabah has five heads. Four of them are that of a lion, an ox, an eagle, and a dragon. These are situated on the end of the four tendrils that seem to sprout from his neck.\nHis fifth and primary face is the mask he wields, and is the one he uses to communicate with. He can morph this mask into various other faces.\nWhen his mood changes, Merkabah’s mask face slowly morphs into his new expression, part by part, as if only one single muscle can move at a time.\n\nHis voice sounds ominous, like a male and female person talking at the same time in a similar tone, in an inhuman intonation that never really peaks or changes with his mood, smoothly but eerily stringing together words in a flowing manner, not unlike an auto tune effect.\nHis choice of words is equally mysterious, almost appearing as riddles, never quite clear on what he means exactly, merely hinting on what he could truly mean with what he says, and even then it could have multiple interpretations.\n\nWhile his voice sounds calm at all times, he gets easily annoyed at people’s imperfections, opting to kill them in order to silence them whenever they complain.\n\nHe has a limited power to give life to inanimate objects such as clay, but they also gain free will, which always results into Merkabah getting annoyed at his own creations eventually, killing them.\n\nAs Celestials do not have the same morphology and sex and gender systems as mortals, Merkabah is referred to as male, despite his female appearance. Strictly seen he has a neutral sex and gender, and chooses to be referred to as male in a neutral way.\nSee it as a non-binary sex, rather than a non-binary gender.\n\nIn reality, Merkabah is a rogue avatar of the Great Divine Will.\nWhile the Great Divine Will is the true creator of the universe and an ultimately benevolent force, he is a flawed entity.\nIn order to overcome his own inner struggles and challenge his different ideologies, the Great Divine Will gave life to the aspects of his nature, which in turn became creatures of their own within the world he created, named the Pleroma, destined to clash between each other in order to determine which ideal is the most potent and ultimately the absolute truth.\n\nMerkabah is one of these creatures, and represents the Great Divine Will’s more cynical, self-righteous side, an aspect of his nature that makes it impossible to feel kindred to other souls on its own.\n\nMarkabah is based Merkabah, which is described as the throne-chariot of God, the four-wheeled vehicle composed of many angels, driven by four Cherubim, each of which has four wings and four faces (of a man, lion, ox, and eagle).\nI obviously incorporated those elements in his design, except instead that of a man, I chose the face of a dragon instead, because there’s no real place for a human in a realm of furries (humanity has their own set of Celestials), and Seraphim are often described as serpentine creatures, so a dragon would fit well.\nAnd originally he was designed with just dragon heads, but was later changed to the different animals.\n\nThe man, lion, ox and eagle are said to surround the throne of God in Heaven, and the way my Merkabah’s faces of those four creatures (replace man with dragon) “surround” the main face (the mask), it symbolizes how he deems himself more righteous than gods. Being a mask, it refers to him being a false god, and a trickster. After all, the way the hierarchy of reality works in my world, my Merkabah can impossibly be the Merkabah he’s based on.\n\nMerkabah’s design is based on SMT Merkabah and The Mysterious Stranger/Satan from The Adventures of Mark Twain.\n\nPosted using PostyBirb",
