"writing": "Crimson Life Ch. 2\n\nby Luminous Shot\n\nI don't own any aspect of the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. All rights belong to Hasbro and Lauren Faust.\n\nThis work of fiction contains slight violence. If you feel uncomfortable about this, I suggest that you don't read past this point.\n\nHave fun!\n\nRoaming through the shadows of the forest and searching for something not even she knew what it was, Twilight felt a pull, an instinct deep within her mind. It called for her and drove her into walking deeper into the woods. It was as if a beast had just awoken from its slumber.\n\nNeither the sun, nor the moon shone to send light into the dark, yet Twilight was able to see the shapes surrounding her, trees, leaves, rocks, and far away, a black pony.\n\nTwilight smelled something, but she couldn't point a hoof at what it was. However, the instinct told her to follow it, to move closer to the pony, so she increased her speed and galloped to the shadowy shape.\n\nWhile it seemed like the pony was looking at her, Twilight saw no eyes, no facial features, just blackness. Not fearing this obscure being, Twilight came closer, still oblivious to the nature of her instinct.\n\nAs a white streak broke the blackness that was the pony, Twilight saw that it smiled at her. The row of teeth formed no vicious smirk, just a pure, genuine smile. So, she smiled back, showing her long fangs. Her eyes were focusing madly on it as she jumped at its throat.\n\nIt didn't fight back, and if Twilight could've seen anything other than its mane, with her fangs rammed deep inside its neck, she would've noticed that it was still smiling. Something warm filled her mouth, and the beast, which had been raging only seconds ago, was becalmed. \n\n#########\n\nTwilight felt warm. Did her mother huddle against her? No, she'd moved away from her parents long ago. \"Was it maybe the princess? No, Twilight had gone to Ponyville and met her friends. Had she maybe gotten drunk on one of Pinkie's parties and her host had let her sleep inside her bed? No... Pinkie was dead.\n\nAll warmth vanished, and Twilight's eyes shot open. Turning her head swiftly to the side, she saw that Trixie was smiling at her. She shoved the unicorn's fore-leg that was lying on her chest away and jumped up.\n\n\"You! What did you do to me?\" Twilight hissed in a hostile tone. She barely had enough focus left to concentrate on anything other than the cursed showmare, yet she noticed that the room surrounding her looked rather unfamiliar.\n\nTrixie's smile turned into a frown. \"Is that any way to speak with the pony who has saved your flank from a vampire?\" She slowly rose from the huge four-poster bed Twilight as well had been lying on just a moment ago.\n\n\"A vampire?\" Memories returned to Twilight. The assault in the forest, Pinkie's death, the soon afterwards carried out revenge through a dagger-like horn, and the half-heard conversation in an unknown, dark room. \"Was that what you were talking about when you said that you needed to show me, in order to make me understand?\"\n\nTrixie nodded.\n\nLooking at the ground and feeling a looming headache, she continued, \"Was that why you told me that I'm no longer?\"\n\nAgain, Trixie simply nodded, letting Twilight organize her thoughts.\n\nIt dawned on Twilight. \"That was when you bit my neck and turned me into a... a vampire.\" A couple of hours ago, Twilight would've declared her future self crazy for saying something like that, but now it all made sense. Although, Twilight didn't want it to make sense— she wanted it to be a bad dream, but her brain told her all the time that this was just an excuse.\n\nStaring unbelievingly into Trixie's eyes, she said, \"I should be grateful to you... for saving me from a vampire and enslaving me afterwards yourself!\" The unicorn's shaking voice turned into a rage-filled scream.\n\n\"Yes,\" Trixie spoke serenely, despite the angry expression on the lavender unicorn's face, \"I enslaved you. I took your old life and bestowed the life of a slave upon you. I'm your master, and you belong to me. However, did you consider just once that this could be a better life?\"\n\nStill screaming and not even thinking reasonably about the question, Twilight continued speaking in her hateful tone, \"Better? Is this about revenge? Of course it is, you're so pathetic. I even felt sorry for you after you ran away from Ponyville, and I considered that we two could've become friends under better circumstances, but now I feel stupid for even pitying you.\"\n\nTrixie sighted. Her slave was really trying her patience, but she'd known from the beginning that it wouldn't be easy. \"That's not you, Twilight.\"\n\n\"You don't know me!\" she spat back.\n\n\"Not as good as I'd like to. That's true. Still, you've been fascinating me ever since the night when the ursa attacked, and I've always been around Ponyville since then. I wanted to make you mine, have you around me, make you happy....\" She knew that saying the last bit had been a mistake, but it was already too late.\n\n\"Happy? Happy!\" Twilight felt the urge to hit her, but she was way too disgusted by the despicable mare. \"Leave. Leave now!\" she screamed and brandished her hoof in an arc in front of her.\n\nFeeling bewildered to be thrown out of a room that she owned, Trixie hesitated for a moment, but eventually saw that there was no sense in sticking around the enraged pony. \"Rest a bit, and if you want to talk, I'll be in the room across from this yours. Another thing, 'Don't open the curtains.'\"\n\nWhen the blue unicorn had left the room, tears began to well in Twilight's eyes. She jumped onto the bed and buried her face into the soft, red pillow. She didn't know how long she has been busy with bawling her eyes out, but soon the point came where she was able to think reasonably again. Crying wouldn't help her.\n\nShe attempted to dry her moist cheeks and puffy eyes with a hoof, but it wasn't effective at all, so she just ignored it for now. When she turned around and noticed that she could see perfectly fine in the pitch black room, she remembered her dream from earlier, and she knew that she'd become a monster, a blood sucking monster.\n\n'Blood sucking monster' Twilight had to chuckle at that thought. That was so cliché. She prodded one of her fangs with her tongue. What about the other myths about vampires? She never liked garlic, anyway, so it wouldn't be a big loss. Was she only able to die by a stake piercing her heart? The picture of a horn exiting Azazel's chest returned to her mind, and she shuddered when she imagined the same happening to her. What about sunlight? Twilight didn't want to live if she wasn't allowed to see the sun ever again. No, that was just a bunch of hooey, as well as the other myths. How could the sun possibly harm her?\n\n'Don't open the curtains.' She remembered Trixie's words and wondered if it was just a threat to keep her inside. There was only one way to find out. However, when Twilight wanted to stand up and open the heavy, black curtains, a stinging pain shot through her head, and she let herself fall onto the bed again. As quickly as the pain had come, it was gone.\n\nTwilight didn't understand.... Where did that come from? After a minute it dawned on her. She was Trixie's slave, and that was surely more than just a title. Maybe she'd been cursed, or it was some kind of vampire trait that didn't allow her to defy her master's orders.\n\nMore and more questions pestered her, and her knowledge-addicted brain wanted answers. However, there was only one pony who could give her those, and despite the fact that she never wanted to see that mare again, she knew that answers were the only thing that could help her at the moment.\n\nStanding up, and fearing waves of agony hitting her anew, she hesitantly walked to the door and out of her room. The corridor on the outside was darkened and fairly long. This sure wasn't a normal house— it looked more like a palace. Shaking her head slightly, she looked at the door opposite her own. She could wonder about her whereabouts later.\n\nAlmost entering without knocking, she remembered that it wasn't polite to just walk into her 'master's' room like that. She opened the door magically, causing a big amount of burst and splintered wood to whirl through the air.\n\nInside the room a blue unicorn, who'd been reading a novel until her door had exploded, looked at Twilight with a quizzically expression, rather than a frightened one. \"Twilight, nice to see you so soon again,\" she greeted with a smirk.\n\n\"Shut up,\" Twilight snapped, stepping inside the room. \"I want you to tell me everything.\" It bothered her beyond measure that her spell hadn't discomposed the mare just the slightest.\n\n\"Everything is a lot. Where should I start?\" Trixie didn't like being yelled at by a mare who had just blown up her door, but she'd been taught some love and tolerance in the past, and she was now mostly beyond such things as anger.\n\n\"First, what did you do when you told me not to open the curtains?\" Twilight began.\n\nSighting and laying her book on a bedside table, Trixie replied, \"Boring. I turned you into a vampire. That means you became my slave, and if you even think about denying my orders, you'll feel pain unknown to most ponies.\"\n\nTwilight's courage fell, but she continued, \"What about all these vampire myths from third class horror novels?\"\n\n\"Hmm....\" Trixie tried to figure out how to sum it up. \"Okay, here are the facts. We're tougher, stronger, and live ... probably forever, or at least a very long time. Don't you want to sit down? This could take a bit longer.\" She patted the bedcover beside her with a hoof.\n\n\"I prefer to stand, thank you.\" the angry unicorn replied with a sarcastic undertone.\n\nTrixie shrugged. \"Fine. Let's see, what else do we have...? Garlic. I never liked garlic, anyway, and I never tried— you shouldn't try either. Sunlight will kill you under some circumstances, but normally it will just itch a bit. Right now you should stay inside. What else is there to know?... Blood... of course, you'll have to drink it to stay alive.\"\n\n\"I won't kill ponies!\" Twilight interrupted with a determined expression, stomping a hoof on the ground.\n\n\"Now, let me finish first. You don't need more than a liter at maximum per week, and the bite marks close themselves afterwards. It's something about our salvia, I suppose. Nopony is going to die from that. They'll probably just feel a bit exhausted, but nothing else. Does it make you feel better?\"\n\n\"Kinda.\" Her expression softened slightly.\n\n\"Good..., do you also want to know how to suck blood?\" Trixie asked, raising an eyebrow. \n\n\"What is there much to know about it? You just bite somepony's neck, don't you?\" The fire of her curiosity was burning brightly.\n\nShaking her head frantically, Trixie explained, \"No, that's not safe enough. How would you react if a pony suddenly bit your neck? All vampires have the power to make other ponies fall into a sleep-like state for a few minutes. They won't notice anything. It's fairly simple, just look deep into your victims eyes and imagine this happening.\" Trixie blinked, and when her eyes reopened, they were almost shaped like a dragon's. \"It won't affect other vampires, and the eyes change back after you stop concentrating. Just try it.\"\n\nDoing as she was told, Twilight gazed deep into Trixie's shining, magenta eyes. Imagining her own taking a shape similar to Spike's. She blinked, but nothing...\"\n\n\"Great, you did it.\" Trixie clopped her hooves together, showing an encouraging smile.\n\n\"Huh?\" the confused Twilight said.\n\n\"Your eyes changed. You just didn't notice it. Try it a few times in front of a mirror, and you'll easily get the hang of it,\" Trixie explained with a wide smile on her face. She didn't realize it, but she felt pride, seeing her slave already learning from her.\n\n\"Well, are there other things you want to know about?\"\n\nTwilight sat down on the bed beside her, every feeling other than her curiosity had faded out. \"Where are we? This place looks huge.\"\n\n\"Ah yes, have you heard of Castle Cheval Blanc?\" Trixie braced for the sure to follow impact of nerd knowledge.\n\n\"Of course, I have.\" Twilight's ears perked up and a wide smile adorned her face. \"It is located southeast of Ponyville, behind the Everfree Forest, and close to the border to Draconica. A family of royals have built it about three hundred years ago, but they didn't stay for long since there were some conflicts with the dragons.\"\n\nTrixie continued, \"Apparently the dragon's liked it very much. The castle was built on top of a mountain, and I've found a lot of dragon scales in a cave at its base.\"\n\nDragons? Twilight wondered if being here was safe. \"Say Trixie, there are no dra-\" Her question was interrupted by a low rumble that filled the room. However, it wasn't a dragon that had caused it. \n\nTrixie began to chuckle and said, \"Where are my manners? You must be hungry. Do you want me to prepare something to eat for you?\" Her blushing slave gave her a sheepish nod. Trixie returned a genuine smile. \"Please stay here until I return. Renovating this place takes forever, and I don't even have curtains for all the rooms and halls.\"\n\nWaiting patiently, the unicorn wondered why Trixie was so kind to her. The boastful showmare sure had changed. Nevertheless, that didn't change that she had ponynapped Twilight.\n\nWhen Trixie returned with a bowl, Twilight sniffed delicately for the scent that had invaded her nostrils. \"Tomato soup? Is that your way to make fun of me?\" she asked with returning aggression.\n\nGiving her a confused look, Trixie asked, \"Why? Don't you like tomato soup? I'm sorry, I can make you something different.\" Her ears laid flat against her head.\n\nHer comment had hurt her host, and as soon as she noticed, Twilight apologized, \"No, no, I'm sorry, Trixie. It's just ... well, the soup is red.\"\n\nIt took the confused mare's mind a few moments to set the pieces together. \"Oh ... sorry. I didn't mean to. You're right— that wasn't subtle at all. I'll make you a sandwich or something like that.\"\n\nTwilight still felt bad. \"No, Trixie, it's okay. Really. I love tomato soup. You only startled me a bit.\" In fact, she'd never tried tomato soup before, but that didn't mean she shouldn't try it now. Using her magic, she took the bowl from her host and began eating hastily.\n\nWatching her slave devouring the soup, Trixie knew that it had to be soon. She'd made tomato soup on purpose, and seeing a glint in the unicorn's eyes confirmed her worries.\n\n When Twilight was finished— and had by the way discovered her new favorite dish— she said, \"Thank you, Trixie. It was the most delicious soup I ever had.\"\n\n\"How kind of you. Maybe I should call myself the Great and Powerful Chef from now on,\" she replied with a chuckle. \"But,... since you brought it up. It's better if you get some blood as quickly as possible.\"\n\n\"What?\" Twilight's face fell. \"Didn't you say I only needed to do it once every week? I don't want to..., no, I refuse to hurt anypony.\"\n\nSighting audibly, Trixie said, \"Please don't make this so hard for me. I already told you that nopony is going to get hurt. Why do you still refuse?\"\n\nTears welled in the unicorn's eyes anew. \"I ... I don't want to. It feels like I'd give up being a pony and turn into a complete monster if I sucked anypony's blood.\"\n\nTrixie hesitated before she reassured her, \"No, you won't turn into a monster, I promise. Look at me— do I look like a monster?\" She walked towards her slave and licked a salty tear from her cheek.\n\n\"You promise?\" she asked with a sniffle.\n\n\"I promise. Why don't you go back into your room and rest a bit. I'm sorry that there's only a little selection of books in your room, and the library is too far away and the corridors there aren't darkened, so you'll have to wait until you can go there.\" She gave her slave a short kiss on the lips, wearing an amorous look on her face. \"Of course, you can also spend the time with me.\"\n\nQuickly jumping up, Twilight charged back into her room, throwing the door shut behind her. She was panting heavily. \"Did Trixie just...? She just kissed me,\" she whispered, touching her lips with a hoof. The startled mare lay back on her own bed. She just tried to fall asleep, many confusing thoughts bothering her.\n\nBack in Trixie's room the blue unicorn rammed her head a couple of times into her pillow. Why had she been so stupid? Twilight would hate her for sure after this. \"You can also spend the time with me,\" she repeated in a mock-tone. \"Smooth Trixie, really smooth.\"\n\nTrixie pressed the pillow closer to her body, imagining that it was the object of her desire, and fell asleep.\n\n#########\n\nTwilight hasn't been able to sleep the whole time, and the books in her room were all disappointing, to say the least. She didn't even know what time of day it was and wondered if she shouldn't go to Trixie to ask. However, she purged the thought quickly from her mind, preferring not to see the mare as long as possible.\n\nNevertheless, the door opened while Twilight was scanning for the eighth time through the three mahogany bookshelves, which still had the gall to deny her a good read. Despite that she hoped for somepony else, it was of course Trixie who stood in the door.\n\n\"Hey, Twilight,\" she said sheepishly, \"I'm sorry about earlier. I didn't want to make you feel uncomfortable.\" Trixie gave her an apologizing look, yet Twilight's face remained hard.\n\n\"Why, Trixie. I'm your slave, you can do to me whatever you want, and if I refuse I'll be in horrible pain, so everything's fine.\" All the while she acted as if she was examining the spine of a huge tome, which read, 'Equestria Over the Centuries', with great interest.\n\n\"Yes, I said that you're my slave because I didn't want to lie to you, saying that I didn't have the power to give you any order I want to, but that doesn't mean that I want to strip you of your freedom.\"\n\n\"Then why did you do it?\" Twilight turned slowly towards Trixie, a look of disapproval on her face.\n\nIt was hard to speak it out for Trixie, so she said, \"Because I ... I ... I could. You're mine now, so just stay a good filly and do what I say. We have to go now.\" Her expression hardened and she turned around.\n\nIf she hadn't been so angry, Twilight would've noticed that there was something wrong with her master's behavior, but now she just followed her unwillingly outside.\n\nThe two mares were welcomed by moonlight and cold night air. The castle really sat atop of a mountain. Twilight could see the Everfree Forest lying to her hooves. It seemed huge from up here. Somewhere in the distance she saw a few dim lights on a mountainside, and she wondered if it was Canterlot.\n\n\"So, 'master' which poor pony am I going to drain of its life fluids tonight?\" she asked with a defiant undertone in her voice.\n\n\"First, don't call me master. Second, don't make it sound like I want you to burn down an orphanage. We already talked it through— nopony is going to die today, and if you do it right he or she won't even notice,\" she said, showing the sternest face she could muster up.\n\n\"And what if I don't?\" Twilight just wanted to rebel, not following Trixie's bidding anymore. \"Maybe I just want to starve slowly, and you can make out with my corpse afterwards as much as you want. How does that sound? You said it yourself— Twilight Sparkle is dead.\" \n\nBefore Twilight could say another word, Trxie had already slapped her hard across the face. \"How dare you? Twilight Sparkle, I didn't save you in the Everfree Forest to let you die now. I didn't want to earlier, but if you continue behaving like a defiant, little filly, I swear by Celestia and Luna that I'll kill somepony, one of your friends. So, either you continue being dumb, resulting in dead ponies, or you pull yourself together, and nopony has to suffer!\" Trixie yelled at her slave in rage.\n\nAfter Trixie was done with her verbal onslaught, Twilight touched the bruised cheek with a hoof. The blood was proof enough that the hit had been as strong as it had felt. She stared at the blood, almost as if in trance, feeling the urge to lick it off, but after a moment of hesitation she only rubbed it off onto her coat. \"Didn't you say you wanted to leave me my freedom?\" she asked, with a calm voice, but still shaken on the inside.\n\nTrixie calmed down. She hadn't wanted to hit Twilight, but she'd had to make her understand. \"I did say that. You can have as much freedom as you want, but your life belongs to me, and I'll be the one who decides when you're allowed to die. Now let's go,\" she replied coldly. Of course she didn't mean it like that, but she didn't know a different way to snap Twilight out of it again.\n\n\"Go where?\" Twilight asked. Her cheek didn't burn anymore, and the small bruise had already healed. \"There's nothing here, and until we've crossed the forest it will be day again.\"\n\nTrixie smirked, hoping that she could awake Twilight's curiosity again. \"Just watch and learn, Twilight.\" A few seconds passed— nothing happened, but then Trixie began to shudder. The skin on her back tore open, and two long bones rose from the pony's back. In fact, it were more than just two. In front of Twilight's eyes the blood covered bones of two pegasus wings grew from Trixie's body. When it looked like the bones were grown fully, strings of flesh and muscle wrapped around them, forming a pair of wings, and at the end, black feathers magically appeared to cover the bloody appendages.\n\nOnly when the process was done, and the wounds on Trixie's back slowly closed around her new wings, which were almost as long as Celestia's, the slightly sick unicorn saw that Trixie had tears in her eyes and was still biting her lip. \"Didn't hurt at all,\" she said in an unconvincing, high pitched tone.\n\n\"You don't want me to do the same, do you?\" Twilight asked, unfortunately, already knowing the answer.\n\nTrixie let out a long breath to release the strain. \"Yes, I do. I know it hurts, but the wounds close fast, and the pain vanishes even faster. See, I'm alright again.\" She flapped her wings a couple of times to show that they didn't hurt anymore.\n\n\"I don't know.... You'll probably unnerve me until I give in, right?\" Trixie nodded plainly. \"Just like with the eyes?\"\n\n\"Just like with the eyes,\" Trixie confirmed.\n\nTwilight shut her eyes tightly and bit her lip....\n\nA minute later— a minute filled with blood and screams of anguish— Twilight stood there, heavily panting with a pair of wings of her own, which looked exactly like Trixie's.\n\n\"Well done. Just flap them a bit. It'll come naturally. In a few minutes you should be ready for takeoff.\"\n\n#########\n\nHigh above the Everfree Forest, Twilight was busy flying loops and rolls. It really had come naturally, and flying was so much fun that she'd even forgotten where they were heading.\n\n\"Hey, hey look at this, Trixie,\" she said, about the sixth time since they've been in the air. She did a couple of half loops, constantly spinning, until she had reached cloud-level, laughing the whole time.\n\n\"At least you seem to be happy again. I like you a lot more like this,\" Trixie yelled so that it could reach Twilight, grinning at her happy mood.\n\nSinking down to Trixie's altitude again, Twilight looked at her sternly, causing the blue mare to worry again. \"I'm sorry for being so harsh to you,\" Twilight said apologetically, to her master's surprise. \"Despite all that had happened, you were kind to me the whole time.\"\n\nTrixie smiled. \"And, I'm sorry for hitting you earlier, but you had completely lost it.\"\n\n\"It's okay, Trixie. You did the right thing, probably not the most gentle, but the right.\" She chuckled and did another barrel roll. \"But, what about the kiss?\" Twilight asked curiously.\n\nSilence.... \"You know what, I'm not sorry for that. You belong to me, and you should finally accept that I can do with you what I want,\" Trixie replied coldly.\n\nRolling her eyes, Twilight said calmly, \"Have it your own way. I can't figure you out— one moment nice, and a jerk the next.\"\n\nWhen they almost arrived at the end of the forest, Twilight asked another question, and she feared that she knew its answer as well, \"Where are we heading?\"\n\n\"Don't tell me you've already forgotten what your old home looks like.\"\n\nThere it was. Twilight had been unsure, but now it was inevitable. She had to drink the blood of a pony she probably knew. \"I guess, I don't have a choice.\"\n\n\"I've chosen Ponyville for a reason, Twilight. Do you trust me?\" she asked inquisitively, a small hint of hope in her voice.\n\nTwilight thought about it, but the answer didn't come from her brain. It was another part of her that let her say, showing a genuine smile, \"I trust you, Trixie. You are more kind than you've ever been before, even if I don't always get what is going on in your head.\"\n\n\"I'll take that as a compliment,\" Trixie replied, grinning back at her slave. \"Let's touch down here. I would like to hide our wings before anypony sees them.\" They dived below the treetops.\n\nOn the ground the two let their wings disappear and hid behind a row of trees.\n\n\"Here's the plan, Twilight. You go inside. Alone. You'll search for a pony who is still awake, preferably go into their home, make them fall asleep, drink, and get out of there. Show me your eyes again, just to make sure.\"\n\nDoing like she was told, she let her dragon-like eyes appear again. \"I don't know if I can do it, Trixie. These ponies here are all my friends.\" She was assailed by doubts and shuddered at the very thought of biting a living being. \n\nTrixie laid a fore-leg around Twilight's neck and hugged her. \"It'll be okay. They won't feel anything, and since it's already late, they probably won't even remember having seen you if you're fast. The first time is always the hardest. I had to do it myself.\" She broke the embrace, gave her a reassuring smile, and eventually, sent her off with a little push.\n\nTwilight walked carefully towards her home,... her old home. On her way she saw Fluttershy's cottage. She considered for a moment, but chuckled afterwards. There wasn't a single living being who could harm Fluttershy when the good-natured pegasus was right in front of her.\n\nAlmost in the center of Ponyville Twilight noticed that the lights in Carousel Boutique were still lit. It seemed like Rarity was still working. Twilight couldn't do it to her either. The white unicorn was her best friend, even if Twilight Sparkle had died. Their friendship was still alive, and Twilight would feel as if she destroyed that friendship with drinking Rarity's blood. Furthermore, Sweetie Bell could wake up. That would end in a catastrophe.\n\nAfter a few minutes Twilight noticed another house with lit lights. She knew who lived there, and it was probably her best chance. She hesitantly walked over to the beacon of light in the darkness and knocked, a part of her hoping that nopony would open.\n\nHowever, she could hear the clopping of hooves on wood, and the door opened, revealing a mulberry-coated teacher. \"Oh, good evening, Twilight. Is there anything I can do for you?\"\n\nTwilight scratched her head with a hoof and replied, \"Hey,... Cheerilee. I just wondered ... you know, I've been studying the whole night ... because that's what I usually do at night ... study. And,... I wondered ... well, since it looked like you were still awake as well ... if we could have a little chat and maybe some tea. Not that I usually invite myself for tea, but ... you know ... I felt a bit sleepy and thought a little stroll through the cold night air would do me good. \n\nBefore she could ramble more, a hoof was pressed onto her muzzle. Cheerilee looked at her with a grin that told of her experiences with insomnia. \"When I set my hoof down again, you'll keep your mouth closed, and you'll only open it again when I've prepared a strong black tea for you, understood?\"\n\nTwilight nodded, wearing a big blush on her cheeks. Cheerilee took her hoof away, and the two mares walked inside. Phase one of Twilight's 'plan' was a success. \n\nSitting silently at Cheerilee's kitchen table, Twilight couldn't take her eyes of the mare as she prepared the tea. Something about her felt strange, but Twilight didn't know what it was.\n\n\"I was joking when I said that you had to keep your mouth shut until I was done with preparing the tea,\" Cheerilee said, her back turned towards her guest.\n\n\"I'm sorry. It was just a really, really long night,\" Twilight apologized. \"What were you doing when I came? It's already quite late.\"\n\n\"Oh, you know being a teacher isn't always easy, especially if you're the only one in town. I still have to correct a lot of homework, and I also have to prepare a few exercises for nine different lessons tomorrow.\"\n\n\"Uh~huh\" Twilight didn't really listen. Something seemed to devour every little bit of her concentration. Why was she even here?\n\n\"Here's your tea. Maybe it'll help to get you properly thinking again. So, drink up,\" Cheerilee said with a cheery smile and placed the cup onto the tablecloth in front of her guest.\n\nTwilight stared absently at her teacup....\n\nHer face turned pale, and she remembered something. She'd been here before, not really, but she'd dreamed of being here. How was that possible?\n\n\"Is something wrong, dear?\" Cheerilee asked, showing a worried expression. Twilight knew that something was going to happen, and she finally realized what this strange feeling was that has been burdening her since she had stood in front of Cheerilee's door, and in her dreams as well. It was the beast from the black forest. It was here, in the room, with her... and Cheerilee.\n\n\"Twilight, you don't look so good. Do you want me to bring you back to the library?\" It was inevitable now.\n\nTwilight looked deep into Cheerilee's gentle, green eyes and said, a tear rolling down her cheek, \"Sorry.\"\n\nNow, like she'd learned it from Trixie, her eyes disappeared, and instead the beast stared at Cheerilee. Twilight rose swiftly from her seat and caught the mare before she could fall.\n\nShe held her in a tight embrace and rammed her fangs into her victims tender neck. A led astray drop of blood stained the white tablecloth. However, there was still plenty that ran into Twilight's mouth and down her throat, gently caressing her taste buds with its coppery, yet sweet taste.\n\nShe didn't know how much she already had, but she didn't care, anyway. She wanted more! \n\n\n\nTO BE CONTINUED \n\n",

It called for her and drove her into walking deeper into the woods. It was as if a beast had just awoken from its slumber.<br /><br />Neither the sun, nor the moon shone to send light into the dark, yet Twilight was able to see the shapes surrounding her, trees, leaves, rocks, and far away, a black pony.<br /><br />Twilight smelled something, but she couldn&#039;t point a hoof at what it was. However, the instinct told her to follow it, to move closer to the pony, so she increased her speed and galloped to the shadowy shape.<br /><br />While it seemed like the pony was looking at her, Twilight saw no eyes, no facial features, just blackness. Not fearing this obscure being, Twilight came closer, still oblivious to the nature of her instinct.<br /><br />As a white streak broke the blackness that was the pony, Twilight saw that it smiled at her. The row of teeth formed no vicious smirk, just a pure, genuine smile. So, she smiled back, showing her long fangs. Her eyes were focusing madly on it as she jumped at its throat.<br /><br />It didn&#039;t fight back, and if Twilight could&#039;ve seen anything other than its mane, with her fangs rammed deep inside its neck, she would&#039;ve noticed that it was still smiling. Something warm filled her mouth, and the beast, which had been raging only seconds ago, was becalmed. <br /><br />#########<br /><br />Twilight felt warm. Did her mother huddle against her? No, she&#039;d moved away from her parents long ago. &quot; Was it maybe the princess? No, Twilight had gone to Ponyville and met her friends. Had she maybe gotten drunk on one of Pinkie&#039;s parties and her host had let her sleep inside her bed? No... Pinkie was dead.<br /><br />All warmth vanished, and Twilight&#039;s eyes shot open. Turning her head swiftly to the side, she saw that Trixie was smiling at her. She shoved the unicorn&#039;s fore-leg that was lying on her chest away and jumped up.<br /><br />&quot;You! What did you do to me?&quot; Twilight hissed in a hostile tone. She barely had enough focus left to concentrate on anything other than the cursed showmare, yet she noticed that the room surrounding her looked rather unfamiliar.<br /><br />Trixie&#039;s smile turned into a frown. &quot; Is that any way to speak with the pony who has saved your flank from a vampire?&quot; She slowly rose from the huge four-poster bed Twilight as well had been lying on just a moment ago.<br /><br />&quot;A vampire?&quot; Memories returned to Twilight. The assault in the forest, Pinkie&#039;s death, the soon afterwards carried out revenge through a dagger-like horn, and the half-heard conversation in an unknown, dark room. &quot; Was that what you were talking about when you said that you needed to show me, in order to make me understand?&quot;<br /><br />Trixie nodded.<br /><br />Looking at the ground and feeling a looming headache, she continued, &quot; Was that why you told me that I&#039;m no longer?&quot;<br /><br />Again, Trixie simply nodded, letting Twilight organize her thoughts.<br /><br />It dawned on Twilight. &quot; That was when you bit my neck and turned me into a... a vampire.&quot; A couple of hours ago, Twilight would&#039;ve declared her future self crazy for saying something like that, but now it all made sense. Although, Twilight didn&#039;t want it to make sense&mdash; she wanted it to be a bad dream, but her brain told her all the time that this was just an excuse.<br /><br />Staring unbelievingly into Trixie&#039;s eyes, she said, &quot;I should be grateful to you... for saving me from a vampire and enslaving me afterwards yourself!&quot; The unicorn&#039;s shaking voice turned into a rage-filled scream.<br /><br />&quot;Yes,&quot; Trixie spoke serenely, despite the angry expression on the lavender unicorn&#039;s face, &quot;I enslaved you. I took your old life and bestowed the life of a slave upon you. I&#039;m your master, and you belong to me. However, did you consider just once that this could be a better life?&quot;<br /><br />Still screaming and not even thinking reasonably about the question, Twilight continued speaking in her hateful tone, &quot;Better? Is this about revenge? Of course it is, you&#039;re so pathetic. I even felt sorry for you after you ran away from Ponyville, and I considered that we two could&#039;ve become friends under better circumstances, but now I feel stupid for even pitying you.&quot;<br /><br />Trixie sighted. Her slave was really trying her patience, but she&#039;d known from the beginning that it wouldn&#039;t be easy. &quot;That&#039;s not you, Twilight.&quot;<br /><br />&quot;You don&#039;t know me!&quot; she spat back.<br /><br />&quot;Not as good as I&#039;d like to. That&#039;s true. Still, you&#039;ve been fascinating me ever since the night when the ursa attacked, and I&#039;ve always been around Ponyville since then. I wanted to make you mine, have you around me, make you happy....&quot; She knew that saying the last bit had been a mistake, but it was already too late.<br /><br />&quot;Happy? Happy!&quot; Twilight felt the urge to hit her, but she was way too disgusted by the despicable mare. &quot;Leave. Leave now!&quot; she screamed and brandished her hoof in an arc in front of her.<br /><br />Feeling bewildered to be thrown out of a room that she owned, Trixie hesitated for a moment, but eventually saw that there was no sense in sticking around the enraged pony. &quot;Rest a bit, and if you want to talk, I&#039;ll be in the room across from this yours. Another thing,<strong> &#039;Don&#039;t open the curtains.&#039;</strong>&quot;<br /><br />When the blue unicorn had left the room, tears began to well in Twilight&#039;s eyes. She jumped onto the bed and buried her face into the soft, red pillow. She didn&#039;t know how long she has been busy with bawling her eyes out, but soon the point came where she was able to think reasonably again. Crying wouldn&#039;t help her.<br /><br />She attempted to dry her moist cheeks and puffy eyes with a hoof, but it wasn&#039;t effective at all, so she just ignored it for now. When she turned around and noticed that she could see perfectly fine in the pitch black room, she remembered her dream from earlier, and she knew that she&#039;d become a monster, a blood sucking monster.<br /><br />&#039;Blood sucking monster&#039; Twilight had to chuckle at that thought. That was so clich&eacute;. She prodded one of her fangs with her tongue. What about the other myths about vampires? She never liked garlic, anyway, so it wouldn&#039;t be a big loss. Was she only able to die by a stake piercing her heart? The picture of a horn exiting Azazel&#039;s chest returned to her mind, and she shuddered when she imagined the same happening to her. What about sunlight? Twilight didn&#039;t want to live if she wasn&#039;t allowed to see the sun ever again. No, that was just a bunch of hooey, as well as the other myths. How could the sun possibly harm her?<br /><br />&#039;Don&#039;t open the curtains.&#039; She remembered Trixie&#039;s words and wondered if it was just a threat to keep her inside. There was only one way to find out. However, when Twilight wanted to stand up and open the heavy, black curtains, a stinging pain shot through her head, and she let herself fall onto the bed again. As quickly as the pain had come, it was gone.<br /><br />Twilight didn&#039;t understand.... Where did that come from? After a minute it dawned on her. She was Trixie&#039;s slave, and that was surely more than just a title. Maybe she&#039;d been cursed, or it was some kind of vampire trait that didn&#039;t allow her to defy her master&#039;s orders.<br /><br />More and more questions pestered her, and her knowledge-addicted brain wanted answers. However, there was only one pony who could give her those, and despite the fact that she never wanted to see that mare again, she knew that answers were the only thing that could help her at the moment.<br /><br />Standing up, and fearing waves of agony hitting her anew, she hesitantly walked to the door and out of her room. The corridor on the outside was darkened and fairly long. This sure wasn&#039;t a normal house&mdash; it looked more like a palace. Shaking her head slightly, she looked at the door opposite her own. She could wonder about her whereabouts later.<br /><br />Almost entering without knocking, she remembered that it wasn&#039;t polite to just walk into her &#039;master&#039;s&#039; room like that. She opened the door magically, causing a big amount of burst and splintered wood to whirl through the air.<br /><br />Inside the room a blue unicorn, who&#039;d been reading a novel until her door had exploded, looked at Twilight with a quizzically expression, rather than a frightened one. &quot;Twilight, nice to see you so soon again,&quot; she greeted with a smirk.<br /><br />&quot;Shut up,&quot; Twilight snapped, stepping inside the room. &quot;I want you to tell me everything.&quot; It bothered her beyond measure that her spell hadn&#039;t discomposed the mare just the slightest.<br /><br />&quot;Everything is a lot. Where should I start?&quot; Trixie didn&#039;t like being yelled at by a mare who had just blown up her door, but she&#039;d been taught some love and tolerance in the past, and she was now mostly beyond such things as anger.<br /><br />&quot;First, what did you do when you told me not to open the curtains?&quot; Twilight began.<br /><br />Sighting and laying her book on a bedside table, Trixie replied, &quot;Boring. I turned you into a vampire. That means you became my slave, and if you even think about denying my orders, you&#039;ll feel pain unknown to most ponies.&quot;<br /><br />Twilight&#039;s courage fell, but she continued, &quot; What about all these vampire myths from third class horror novels?&quot;<br /><br />&quot;Hmm....&quot; Trixie tried to figure out how to sum it up. &quot;Okay, here are the facts. We&#039;re tougher, stronger, and live ... probably forever, or at least a very long time. Don&#039;t you want to sit down? This could take a bit longer.&quot; She patted the bedcover beside her with a hoof.<br /><br />&quot;I prefer to stand, thank you.&quot; the angry unicorn replied with a sarcastic undertone.<br /><br />Trixie shrugged. &quot;Fine. Let&#039;s see, what else do we have...? Garlic. I never liked garlic, anyway, and I never tried&mdash; you shouldn&#039;t try either. Sunlight will kill you under some circumstances, but normally it will just itch a bit. Right now you should stay inside. What else is there to know?... Blood... of course, you&#039;ll have to drink it to stay alive.&quot;<br /><br />&quot;I won&#039;t kill ponies!&quot; Twilight interrupted with a determined expression, stomping a hoof on the ground.<br /><br />&quot;Now, let me finish first. You don&#039;t need more than a liter at maximum per week, and the bite marks close themselves afterwards. It&#039;s something about our salvia, I suppose. Nopony is going to die from that. They&#039;ll probably just feel a bit exhausted, but nothing else. Does it make you feel better?&quot;<br /><br />&quot;Kinda.&quot; Her expression softened slightly.<br /><br />&quot;Good..., do you also want to know how to suck blood?&quot; Trixie asked, raising an eyebrow. <br /><br />&quot;What is there much to know about it? You just bite somepony&#039;s neck, don&#039;t you?&quot; The fire of her curiosity was burning brightly.<br /><br />Shaking her head frantically, Trixie explained, &quot; No, that&#039;s not safe enough. How would you react if a pony suddenly bit your neck? All vampires have the power to make other ponies fall into a sleep-like state for a few minutes. They won&#039;t notice anything. It&#039;s fairly simple, just look deep into your victims eyes and imagine this happening.&quot; Trixie blinked, and when her eyes reopened, they were almost shaped like a dragon&#039;s. &quot; It won&#039;t affect other vampires, and the eyes change back after you stop concentrating. Just try it.&quot;<br /><br />Doing as she was told, Twilight gazed deep into Trixie&#039;s shining, magenta eyes. Imagining her own taking a shape similar to Spike&#039;s. She blinked, but nothing...&quot;<br /><br />&quot;Great, you did it.&quot; Trixie clopped her hooves together, showing an encouraging smile.<br /><br />&quot;Huh?&quot; the confused Twilight said.<br /><br />&quot;Your eyes changed. You just didn&#039;t notice it. Try it a few times in front of a mirror, and you&#039;ll easily get the hang of it,&quot; Trixie explained with a wide smile on her face. She didn&#039;t realize it, but she felt pride, seeing her slave already learning from her.<br /><br />&quot;Well, are there other things you want to know about?&quot;<br /><br />Twilight sat down on the bed beside her, every feeling other than her curiosity had faded out. &quot;Where are we? This place looks huge.&quot;<br /><br />&quot;Ah yes, have you heard of Castle Cheval Blanc?&quot; Trixie braced for the sure to follow impact of nerd knowledge.<br /><br />&quot;Of course, I have.&quot; Twilight&#039;s ears perked up and a wide smile adorned her face. &quot; It is located southeast of Ponyville, behind the Everfree Forest, and close to the border to Draconica. A family of royals have built it about three hundred years ago, but they didn&#039;t stay for long since there were some conflicts with the dragons.&quot;<br /><br />Trixie continued, &quot;Apparently the dragon&#039;s liked it very much. The castle was built on top of a mountain, and I&#039;ve found a lot of dragon scales in a cave at its base.&quot;<br /><br />Dragons? Twilight wondered if being here was safe. &quot;Say Trixie, there are no dra-&quot; Her question was interrupted by a low rumble that filled the room. However, it wasn&#039;t a dragon that had caused it. <br /><br />Trixie began to chuckle and said, &quot;Where are my manners? You must be hungry. Do you want me to prepare something to eat for you?&quot; Her blushing slave gave her a sheepish nod. Trixie returned a genuine smile. &quot; Please stay here until I return. Renovating this place takes forever, and I don&#039;t even have curtains for all the rooms and halls.&quot;<br /><br />Waiting patiently, the unicorn wondered why Trixie was so kind to her. The boastful showmare sure had changed. Nevertheless, that didn&#039;t change that she had ponynapped Twilight.<br /><br />When Trixie returned with a bowl, Twilight sniffed delicately for the scent that had invaded her nostrils. &quot;Tomato soup? Is that your way to make fun of me?&quot; she asked with returning aggression.<br /><br />Giving her a confused look, Trixie asked, &quot; Why? Don&#039;t you like tomato soup? I&#039;m sorry, I can make you something different.&quot; Her ears laid flat against her head.<br /><br />Her comment had hurt her host, and as soon as she noticed, Twilight apologized, &quot; No, no, I&#039;m sorry, Trixie. It&#039;s just ... well, the soup is red.&quot;<br /><br />It took the confused mare&#039;s mind a few moments to set the pieces together. &quot;Oh ... sorry. I didn&#039;t mean to. You&#039;re right&mdash; that wasn&#039;t subtle at all. I&#039;ll make you a sandwich or something like that.&quot;<br /><br />Twilight still felt bad. &quot; No, Trixie, it&#039;s okay. Really. I love tomato soup. You only startled me a bit.&quot; In fact, she&#039;d never tried tomato soup before, but that didn&#039;t mean she shouldn&#039;t try it now. Using her magic, she took the bowl from her host and began eating hastily.<br /><br />Watching her slave devouring the soup, Trixie knew that it had to be soon. She&#039;d made tomato soup on purpose, and seeing a glint in the unicorn&#039;s eyes confirmed her worries.<br /><br />&nbsp;When Twilight was finished&mdash; and had by the way discovered her new favorite dish&mdash; she said, &quot;Thank you, Trixie. It was the most delicious soup I ever had.&quot;<br /><br />&quot;How kind of you. Maybe I should call myself the Great and Powerful Chef from now on,&quot; she replied with a chuckle. &quot;But,... since you brought it up. It&#039;s better if you get some blood as quickly as possible.&quot;<br /><br />&quot;What?&quot; Twilight&#039;s face fell. &quot;Didn&#039;t you say I only needed to do it once every week? I don&#039;t want to..., no, I refuse to hurt anypony.&quot;<br /><br />Sighting audibly, Trixie said, &quot; Please don&#039;t make this so hard for me. I already told you that nopony is going to get hurt. Why do you still refuse?&quot;<br /><br />Tears welled in the unicorn&#039;s eyes anew. &quot;I ... I don&#039;t want to. It feels like I&#039;d give up being a pony and turn into a complete monster if I sucked anypony&#039;s blood.&quot;<br /><br />Trixie hesitated before she reassured her, &quot; No, you won&#039;t turn into a monster, I promise. Look at me&mdash; do I look like a monster?&quot; She walked towards her slave and licked a salty tear from her cheek.<br /><br />&quot;You promise?&quot; she asked with a sniffle.<br /><br />&quot;I promise. Why don&#039;t you go back into your room and rest a bit. I&#039;m sorry that there&#039;s only a little selection of books in your room, and the library is too far away and the corridors there aren&#039;t darkened, so you&#039;ll have to wait until you can go there.&quot; She gave her slave a short kiss on the lips, wearing an amorous look on her face. &quot;Of course, you can also spend the time with me.&quot;<br /><br />Quickly jumping up, Twilight charged back into her room, throwing the door shut behind her. She was panting heavily. &quot;Did Trixie just...? She just kissed me,&quot; she whispered, touching her lips with a hoof. The startled mare lay back on her own bed. She just tried to fall asleep, many confusing thoughts bothering her.<br /><br />Back in Trixie&#039;s room the blue unicorn rammed her head a couple of times into her pillow. Why had she been so stupid? Twilight would hate her for sure after this. &quot; You can also spend the time with me,&quot; she repeated in a mock-tone. &quot;Smooth Trixie, really smooth.&quot;<br /><br />Trixie pressed the pillow closer to her body, imagining that it was the object of her desire, and fell asleep.<br /><br />#########<br /><br />Twilight hasn&#039;t been able to sleep the whole time, and the books in her room were all disappointing, to say the least. She didn&#039;t even know what time of day it was and wondered if she shouldn&#039;t go to Trixie to ask. However, she purged the thought quickly from her mind, preferring not to see the mare as long as possible.<br /><br />Nevertheless, the door opened while Twilight was scanning for the eighth time through the three mahogany bookshelves, which still had the gall to deny her a good read. Despite that she hoped for somepony else, it was of course Trixie who stood in the door.<br /><br />&quot;Hey, Twilight,&quot; she said sheepishly, &quot;I&#039;m sorry about earlier. I didn&#039;t want to make you feel uncomfortable.&quot; Trixie gave her an apologizing look, yet Twilight&#039;s face remained hard.<br /><br />&quot;Why, Trixie. I&#039;m your slave, you can do to me whatever you want, and if I refuse I&#039;ll be in horrible pain, so everything&#039;s fine.&quot; All the while she acted as if she was examining the spine of a huge tome, which read, &#039;Equestria Over the Centuries&#039;, with great interest.<br /><br />&quot;Yes, I said that you&#039;re my slave because I didn&#039;t want to lie to you, saying that I didn&#039;t have the power to give you any order I want to, but that doesn&#039;t mean that I want to strip you of your freedom.&quot;<br /><br />&quot;Then why did you do it?&quot; Twilight turned slowly towards Trixie, a look of disapproval on her face.<br /><br />It was hard to speak it out for Trixie, so she said, &quot;Because I ... I ... I could. You&#039;re mine now, so just stay a good filly and do what I say. We have to go now.&quot; Her expression hardened and she turned around.<br /><br />If she hadn&#039;t been so angry, Twilight would&#039;ve noticed that there was something wrong with her master&#039;s behavior, but now she just followed her unwillingly outside.<br /><br />The two mares were welcomed by moonlight and cold night air. The castle really sat atop of a mountain. Twilight could see the Everfree Forest lying to her hooves. It seemed huge from up here. Somewhere in the distance she saw a few dim lights on a mountainside, and she wondered if it was Canterlot.<br /><br />&quot;So, &#039;master&#039; which poor pony am I going to drain of its life fluids tonight?&quot; she asked with a defiant undertone in her voice.<br /><br />&quot;First, don&#039;t call me master. Second, don&#039;t make it sound like I want you to burn down an orphanage. We already talked it through&mdash; nopony is going to die today, and if you do it right he or she won&#039;t even notice,&quot; she said, showing the sternest face she could muster up.<br /><br />&quot;And what if I don&#039;t?&quot; Twilight just wanted to rebel, not following Trixie&#039;s bidding anymore. &quot;Maybe I just want to starve slowly, and you can make out with my corpse afterwards as much as you want. How does that sound? You said it yourself&mdash; Twilight Sparkle is dead.&quot; <br /><br />Before Twilight could say another word, Trxie had already slapped her hard across the face. &quot; How dare you? Twilight Sparkle, I didn&#039;t save you in the Everfree Forest to let you die now. I didn&#039;t want to earlier, but if you continue behaving like a defiant, little filly, I swear by Celestia and Luna that I&#039;ll kill somepony, one of your friends. So, either you continue being dumb, resulting in dead ponies, or you pull yourself together, and nopony has to suffer!&quot; Trixie yelled at her slave in rage.<br /><br />After Trixie was done with her verbal onslaught, Twilight touched the bruised cheek with a hoof. The blood was proof enough that the hit had been as strong as it had felt. She stared at the blood, almost as if in trance, feeling the urge to lick it off, but after a moment of hesitation she only rubbed it off onto her coat. &quot;Didn&#039;t you say you wanted to leave me my freedom?&quot; she asked, with a calm voice, but still shaken on the inside.<br /><br />Trixie calmed down. She hadn&#039;t wanted to hit Twilight, but she&#039;d had to make her understand. &quot;I did say that. You can have as much freedom as you want, but your life belongs to me, and I&#039;ll be the one who decides when you&#039;re allowed to die. Now let&#039;s go,&quot; she replied coldly. Of course she didn&#039;t mean it like that, but she didn&#039;t know a different way to snap Twilight out of it again.<br /><br />&quot;Go where?&quot; Twilight asked. Her cheek didn&#039;t burn anymore, and the small bruise had already healed. &quot;There&#039;s nothing here, and until we&#039;ve crossed the forest it will be day again.&quot;<br /><br />Trixie smirked, hoping that she could awake Twilight&#039;s curiosity again. &quot;Just watch and learn, Twilight.&quot; A few seconds passed&mdash; nothing happened, but then Trixie began to shudder. The skin on her back tore open, and two long bones rose from the pony&#039;s back. In fact, it were more than just two. In front of Twilight&#039;s eyes the blood covered bones of two pegasus wings grew from Trixie&#039;s body. When it looked like the bones were grown fully, strings of flesh and muscle wrapped around them, forming a pair of wings, and at the end, black feathers magically appeared to cover the bloody appendages.<br /><br />Only when the process was done, and the wounds on Trixie&#039;s back slowly closed around her new wings, which were almost as long as Celestia&#039;s, the slightly sick unicorn saw that Trixie had tears in her eyes and was still biting her lip. &quot;Didn&#039;t hurt at all,&quot; she said in an unconvincing, high pitched tone.<br /><br />&quot;You don&#039;t want me to do the same, do you?&quot; Twilight asked, unfortunately, already knowing the answer.<br /><br />Trixie let out a long breath to release the strain. &quot;Yes, I do. I know it hurts, but the wounds close fast, and the pain vanishes even faster. See, I&#039;m alright again.&quot; She flapped her wings a couple of times to show that they didn&#039;t hurt anymore.<br /><br />&quot;I don&#039;t know.... You&#039;ll probably unnerve me until I give in, right?&quot; Trixie nodded plainly. &quot;Just like with the eyes?&quot;<br /><br />&quot;Just like with the eyes,&quot; Trixie confirmed.<br /><br />Twilight shut her eyes tightly and bit her lip....<br /><br />A minute later&mdash; a minute filled with blood and screams of anguish&mdash; Twilight stood there, heavily panting with a pair of wings of her own, which looked exactly like Trixie&#039;s.<br /><br />&quot;Well done. Just flap them a bit. It&#039;ll come naturally. In a few minutes you should be ready for takeoff.&quot;<br /><br />#########<br /><br />High above the Everfree Forest, Twilight was busy flying loops and rolls. It really had come naturally, and flying was so much fun that she&#039;d even forgotten where they were heading.<br /><br />&quot;Hey, hey look at this, Trixie,&quot; she said, about the sixth time since they&#039;ve been in the air. She did a couple of half loops, constantly spinning, until she had reached cloud-level, laughing the whole time.<br /><br />&quot;At least you seem to be happy again. I like you a lot more like this,&quot; Trixie yelled so that it could reach Twilight, grinning at her happy mood.<br /><br />Sinking down to Trixie&#039;s altitude again, Twilight looked at her sternly, causing the blue mare to worry again. &quot;I&#039;m sorry for being so harsh to you,&quot; Twilight said apologetically, to her master&#039;s surprise. &quot;Despite all that had happened, you were kind to me the whole time.&quot;<br /><br />Trixie smiled. &quot; And, I&#039;m sorry for hitting you earlier, but you had completely lost it.&quot;<br /><br />&quot;It&#039;s okay, Trixie. You did the right thing, probably not the most gentle, but the right.&quot; She chuckled and did another barrel roll. &quot; But, what about the kiss?&quot; Twilight asked curiously.<br /><br />Silence.... &quot; You know what, I&#039;m not sorry for that. You belong to me, and you should finally accept that I can do with you what I want,&quot; Trixie replied coldly.<br /><br />Rolling her eyes, Twilight said calmly, &quot;Have it your own way. I can&#039;t figure you out&mdash; one moment nice, and a jerk the next.&quot;<br /><br />When they almost arrived at the end of the forest, Twilight asked another question, and she feared that she knew its answer as well, &quot;Where are we heading?&quot;<br /><br />&quot;Don&#039;t tell me you&#039;ve already forgotten what your old home looks like.&quot;<br /><br />There it was. Twilight had been unsure, but now it was inevitable. She had to drink the blood of a pony she probably knew. &quot;I guess, I don&#039;t have a choice.&quot;<br /><br />&quot;I&#039;ve chosen Ponyville for a reason, Twilight. Do you trust me?&quot; she asked inquisitively, a small hint of hope in her voice.<br /><br />Twilight thought about it, but the answer didn&#039;t come from her brain. It was another part of her that let her say, showing a genuine smile, &quot;I trust you, Trixie. You are more kind than you&#039;ve ever been before, even if I don&#039;t always get what is going on in your head.&quot;<br /><br />&quot;I&#039;ll take that as a compliment,&quot; Trixie replied, grinning back at her slave. &quot;Let&#039;s touch down here. I would like to hide our wings before anypony sees them.&quot; They dived below the treetops.<br /><br />On the ground the two let their wings disappear and hid behind a row of trees.<br /><br />&quot;Here&#039;s the plan, Twilight. You go inside. Alone. You&#039;ll search for a pony who is still awake, preferably go into their home, make them fall asleep, drink, and get out of there. Show me your eyes again, just to make sure.&quot;<br /><br />Doing like she was told, she let her dragon-like eyes appear again. &quot;I don&#039;t know if I can do it, Trixie. These ponies here are all my friends.&quot; She was assailed by doubts and shuddered at the very thought of biting a living being. <br /><br />Trixie laid a fore-leg around Twilight&#039;s neck and hugged her. &quot;It&#039;ll be okay. They won&#039;t feel anything, and since it&#039;s already late, they probably won&#039;t even remember having seen you if you&#039;re fast. The first time is always the hardest. I had to do it myself.&quot; She broke the embrace, gave her a reassuring smile, and eventually, sent her off with a little push.<br /><br />Twilight walked carefully towards her home,... her old home. On her way she saw Fluttershy&#039;s cottage. She considered for a moment, but chuckled afterwards. There wasn&#039;t a single living being who could harm Fluttershy when the good-natured pegasus was right in front of her.<br /><br />Almost in the center of Ponyville Twilight noticed that the lights in Carousel Boutique were still lit. It seemed like Rarity was still working. Twilight couldn&#039;t do it to her either. The white unicorn was her best friend, even if Twilight Sparkle had died. Their friendship was still alive, and Twilight would feel as if she destroyed that friendship with drinking Rarity&#039;s blood. Furthermore, Sweetie Bell could wake up. That would end in a catastrophe.<br /><br />After a few minutes Twilight noticed another house with lit lights. She knew who lived there, and it was probably her best chance. She hesitantly walked over to the beacon of light in the darkness and knocked, a part of her hoping that nopony would open.<br /><br />However, she could hear the clopping of hooves on wood, and the door opened, revealing a mulberry-coated teacher. &quot;Oh, good evening, Twilight. Is there anything I can do for you?&quot;<br /><br />Twilight scratched her head with a hoof and replied, &quot;Hey,... Cheerilee. I just wondered ... you know, I&#039;ve been studying the whole night ... because that&#039;s what I usually do at night ... study. And,... I wondered ... well, since it looked like you were still awake as well ... if we could have a little chat and maybe some tea. Not that I usually invite myself for tea, but ... you know ... I felt a bit sleepy and thought a little stroll through the cold night air would do me good. <br /><br />Before she could ramble more, a hoof was pressed onto her muzzle. Cheerilee looked at her with a grin that told of her experiences with insomnia. &quot; When I set my hoof down again, you&#039;ll keep your mouth closed, and you&#039;ll only open it again when I&#039;ve prepared a strong black tea for you, understood?&quot;<br /><br />Twilight nodded, wearing a big blush on her cheeks. Cheerilee took her hoof away, and the two mares walked inside. Phase one of Twilight&#039;s &#039;plan&#039; was a success. <br /><br />Sitting silently at Cheerilee&#039;s kitchen table, Twilight couldn&#039;t take her eyes of the mare as she prepared the tea. Something about her felt strange, but Twilight didn&#039;t know what it was.<br /><br />&quot;I was joking when I said that you had to keep your mouth shut until I was done with preparing the tea,&quot; Cheerilee said, her back turned towards her guest.<br /><br />&quot;I&#039;m sorry. It was just a really, really long night,&quot; Twilight apologized. &quot; What were you doing when I came? It&#039;s already quite late.&quot;<br /><br />&quot;Oh, you know being a teacher isn&#039;t always easy, especially if you&#039;re the only one in town. I still have to correct a lot of homework, and I also have to prepare a few exercises for nine different lessons tomorrow.&quot;<br /><br />&quot;Uh~huh&quot; Twilight didn&#039;t really listen. Something seemed to devour every little bit of her concentration. Why was she even here?<br /><br />&quot;Here&#039;s your tea. Maybe it&#039;ll help to get you properly thinking again. So, drink up,&quot; Cheerilee said with a cheery smile and placed the cup onto the tablecloth in front of her guest.<br /><br />Twilight stared absently at her teacup....<br /><br />Her face turned pale, and she remembered something. She&#039;d been here before, not really, but she&#039;d dreamed of being here. How was that possible?<br /><br />&quot;Is something wrong, dear?&quot; Cheerilee asked, showing a worried expression. Twilight knew that something was going to happen, and she finally realized what this strange feeling was that has been burdening her since she had stood in front of Cheerilee&#039;s door, and in her dreams as well. It was the beast from the black forest. It was here,&nbsp;&nbsp;in the room, with her... and Cheerilee.<br /><br />&quot;Twilight, you don&#039;t look so good. Do you want me to bring you back to the library?&quot; It was inevitable now.<br /><br />Twilight looked deep into Cheerilee&#039;s gentle, green eyes and said, a tear rolling down her cheek, &quot;Sorry.&quot;<br /><br />Now, like she&#039;d learned it from Trixie, her eyes disappeared, and instead the beast stared at Cheerilee. Twilight rose swiftly from her seat and caught the mare before she could fall.<br /><br />She held her in a tight embrace and rammed her fangs into her victims tender neck. A led astray drop of blood stained the white tablecloth. However, there was still plenty that ran into Twilight&#039;s mouth and down her throat, gently caressing her taste buds with its coppery, yet sweet taste.<br /><br />She didn&#039;t know how much she already had, but she didn&#039;t care, anyway. She wanted more! <br /><br /><br /><br />TO BE CONTINUED <br /><br /></span>",
