Lumi's a bard, in our D&D campaign and he wasn't sure that even in pokeform he could carry the same mystical melodies that he could with his trusty guitar.

“I can do anything really, as long as I’m with you Athera” he said softly as he tilted her head up to lick those lips, planting a soft kiss on the back end of that lick as he held her warm form against his for what felt like hours, just, resting, taking in everything that had happened and enjoying being able to hold her in his arms, something he’d thought he might never be able to do again. “I wonder…” he said softly as he looked around for something, which he clearly didn’t find on account of him sitting back with a sigh, noticing the confused look in the girls eyes he laughed nervously and gulped. “Don’t… laugh... if this doesn’t work”
He took a deep breath and closed his eyes for a moment as if recalling something from his memory, opening both his eyes and his mouth at the same time as he started to sing to her, unable to use any sort of instrument or abilities to modify his voice like he usually did, but still, his voice came out quite wonderfully…

He panted softly as he licked his now somewhat dry lips as he’d tried to keep his voice down while singing, his eyes never leaving hers as he sung to the perfect pup in his lap, he’d been through so much and lately, so much more, but she’d been there by his side through it all and now she was here, wherever here was, going through something entirely new, strange and alien to them both, with him again.
He could never express to her, just how much it meant to him that she hadn’t given up on him by this point… but it wouldn’t stop him from trying. “Hah… phew… turns out I can still do that…” he said with a soft chuckle as he pressed his forehead once again to hers.
