Many, many years ago, where the legends of dragons became true, where those who ruled were kings and emperors in beautiful castles. And in a small humble village there was a small cub named Kylan who lived with his grandmother Eleanor, who was already old and was considered the best healer in the region. "Grandma look what I found" the young husky 10 years old arriving euphoric home with his best friend Jimmy a beagle who was also the same age as his friend, with an extremely wonderful flower and delivery to his grandmother . "Thank you both very much" the grandmother smiles, gets up and puts the flower in a glass of water. The two puppies go out to play again in the wheat fields and run after some insects. And they pass through the center of the village where they hear a conversation about the burning of a witch in the square that was in front of the royal palace and that the cavalry would soon arrive in the village looking for more witches. A long day passes and the sunset that ended in the beautiful fields of wheat that there was in that region along with the last rays of a day full of games and joys. "Grandma, I'm here!" Shouted the young husky with a dirty face and a broken knee from having fallen during his games giving his grandmother a hug. His grandmother tenderly picks him up and takes him to the bathroom so he could take a shower. Her grandmother takes the water she had left warming on the wood-burning stove and pours it in the bathtub next to the water so that she could make a hot bath for the puppy. She kisses her grandson with a lot of love, saying that she will soon heal. After the bath, old Eleanor gave her grandson something to eat and placed him on the bed, stroking his head with affection and making him fall asleep. In the middle of the night they heard screams from their neighbors who were humble peasants. Unfortunately the king's cavalry had arrived looking for Eleanor because she was considered a witch. And with a lot of shouting outside, her neighbors trying to protect the poor old woman end up being brutally beaten and some of them being killed but Eleanor could not live with that guilt and runs out on the street and screams: "I'm here, but please leave them alone" with her face full of tears. The young puppy gets up from the bed scared and goes to the door and sees his poor grandmother, being murdered without wanting a chance to defend himself or say anything about it and his last words looking at his grandson with eyes full of tears and a sword stuck in her chest she says with her last breath: "Run away, Kylan, run away!" And with their cry the guards watch the little boy burst into tears for losing the only person who looked after him. The guards go up to the puppy grabbing his arm, he struggles trying to free himself from the knight who was holding him very tightly. Jimmy's mother hits the soldier's arm in the part that was without armor with a skewer to move hay, in this he releases the young husky who runs towards Jimmy who was on the floor next to his father's body mourning his death for trying to protect Eleanor. Quickly Kylan pulls his arm. "Come on Jimmy, we have to go" with eyes still full of tears. "More and the mama ..." Her voice stops when she hears her mother's scream being killed right before her eyes. "MOTHEEEEER" giving a desperate cry and being pulled by Kylan towards the nearest forest. Soon after arriving in the forest, they look back, seeing their village on fire and many people trying to escape from the knights who mercilessly killed and named for their king. They quickly entered the forest going aimlessly, just entering the forest in search of a safe place that they knew would not be easy to find. A few hours walking in the forest they see a big tree with the base of its cracked trunk, making it a beautiful shelter for them to spend the rest of the horrible night they were having. "Kylan, I want my mom" and Jimmy starts to cry hugging his only friend who returns him with another hug. After much crying the young chicks fall asleep only warmed by the heat of the other and the protection of the tree.
