Those legends have some truth to them and he's not afraid to demonstrate that. Besides, there's a certain sense of satisfaction that comes from getting your own hands dirty and doing things yourself. Those enforcers are just there to help clean up afterwards.\n\nUnderneath that trench coat are a couple handguns, a couple grenades, at least one knife, a few other secret gadgets useful for laying waste to the antagonist cannon fodder, and enough ammunition to make sure he can keep up his action-hero antics without running out of ammo mid-action-scene.\n\nThat trench coat isn't just some vestige of his original design from over a decade ago or a relic of the earlier years of ShadowHyena Tactical worn only by the old elites and high-ranking officers and agents nowadays, although it's definitely both those things. He is the origin of the \"Lord Dominic\" moniker. \n\nHowever I don't draw him that often (at least in his human form), because I am bad at drawing humans/humanoids, people aren't all that interested in humanoid characters, and as time went on I found other characters of mine far more interesting, but he is still very important to me and my worldbuilding.\n\nBy 2018 or so, I had pretty much given up on drawing him in human form entirely, as I liked his Great Horned Hellhound form a lot more once I got the design looking how I wanted it to look.\n\nAlso, I see no real issue with posting a bit of art of humans/humanoids to furry sites as my worldbuilding basically considers a human to be an \"anthropomorphic ape\"--this is also how I get around that weird thing where furries are uncomfortable depicting anthro dogs and normal dogs in the same universe.
