The walls were built up of hundreds of tight pouches, my mind had one reason but I can see it as places to secrete the needed liquids to keep the interior moist. Whilst I certainly saw this as a \"stomach\", it is probably more akin to a crop, a holding place for food before it goes down to be processed. Deposited in the stomach, the fox is where I dreamed of being for many nights when I was fairly young. I remember it being more illuminated than this, bright even. But the "stomach" was filled with debris from the dragon's previous meals of wagons and storehouses.
