"Both of you get on your knees and get ready to be hypnotized. Remember, don't resist or you will be punished," Zira strictly instructed them. Losing their pride and dignity, Nala and Sora got on their knees as they promised not to fight back.
Zira approached Nala first as she placed her paws on Nala's head and began to use her powers. Vitani held Nala's arms to her side in case she tried to resist and watched her mother use her necklace. Nala felt Zira's powers rush through her head, but made sure not to resist despite how painful it was. Sora knelt a few feet away and looked away as he couldn't watch Nala get controlled.
After a few seconds, Nala became hypnotized and then Zira approached Sora. Vitani and Nala held Sora's arms to his side as he looked up to Zira. She placed her paws on Sora’s head as she did the same thing to him. Sora cried in pain and believed that all hope was lost as his mind soon faded into submission by Zira’s powers. Once again, Nala and Sora were under Zira’s control. “I forgot to ask, mother, but what did the letter say?,” Vitani asked curiously. “Simba has agreed to give up his kingdom to us in exchange for the lives of Nala and Sora. He will wait for us to arrive at Pride Rock and he has made sure not to send any guards or enemies to attack us. Remember the plan we talked about earlier when we arrive there and things will go our way if we do it right. Now sweet Vitani, go pack your belongings for we leave for our new home today,” Zira said to her daughter.
Vitani listened to her mother as she went upstairs to start packing. Zira placed her right paw on her necklace as she could feel herself becoming more powerful and turned to face Nala and Sora. “Ok you two, time to get up. You both will help me take over the Pride lands and you will destroy any enemies that stand in my way. Now follow me and let us leave this place,” Zira said to them. Nala and Sora obeyed their mistress as they followed her up the stairs. Zira knew that her dream was one step closer to becoming a reality and she wasn’t planning on stopping. After getting ready for the big showdown, Zira and the others began their journey to Pride Rock where Zira’s future kingdom awaited.
It was almost approaching noon as Simba was preparing for Zira’s arrival. On behalf of him, Sarabi made sure to tell the rest of the pride to not interfere with his business no matter what. She returned up to the den where she saw her son sitting down on his throne looking down at the ground. “I just informed the rest of the pride of what is about to occur. They have agreed not to interfere and will obey your wishes,” Sarabi said to her son. Simba didn't respond back as he continued to look at the ground.
Sarabi knew that her son wasn’t doing well as she approached him and said,”Simba, please cheer up. I know what’s going to happen next won’t be easy, but you will be reunited with Nala and your friend Sora.” Simba finally looked up to his mother’s face and said,”You think I don’t know that? Of course I know this will be hard! I’m giving up everything I have! I’ve heard some of the lionesses saying that I’m making a bad and selfish decision and that it will be my fault that the Pride Lands will be destroyed, but I don’t care anymore! All I want is to be reunited with Nala no matter what the consequences are!”
Sarabi started to feel sad as she listened to her son lash his anger on her. After talking, Simba quickly realized what he had done and embraced his mother tightly. “I’m sorry for yelling at you, mom. I know I shouldn’t be mad at you for everything that is happening. I just want all this pain to go away forever,” Simba said as he cried while hugging her. “Simba, it’s ok I forgive you. I know this is going to be tough, but you have to stay strong. Don’t think of this as defeat, but perhaps a new beginning. We’re smart and we will figure something out when all is said and done,” Sarabi said towards her son.
Just then, Zazu flew inside as his face was filled with worry and said,”Your majesty… Zira has arrived on time. She is outside waiting below Pride Rock. What should I do?” Simba approached Zazu and said,”Let her come inside. Go out and wait with the rest of the pride until further notice.” Zazu sadly obeyed as he was nervous of what would happen next as he left the den. “You should go join with the pride, mom. I don’t want you to have to see this. I can take care of it,” Simba said to her. “No Simba, I want to be here to help comfort you. Plus, you may need some help if things go bad. You know the type of woman Zira is,” Sarabi responded.
Simba allowed Sarabi to stay with him as they waited for Zira to enter. They heard footsteps echoing in the den as Zira finally entered and stood a few feet away from him. “Hello Simba, it’s been a while. I hope you had a nice journey while you were away,” Zira said evilly to him. “Cut the bull shit, Zira! Where are they? I want to see Nala and Sora right now!,” Simba said as he roared loudly at Zira. Meanwhile, Sarabi had noticed something around Zira’s neck as she couldn’t tell what it was from her distance. As Zira got closer, Sarabi saw that she wore a necklace that looked familiar to her. She felt like she had seen it before but couldn’t remember.
“Oh calm down, Simba. I kept my word and you will see them. Oh Vitani, be a good dear and come inside along with our guests please,” Zira called out to her daughter who entered the den wearing Sora’s jacket and necklace. Vitani carried Sora's keyblade in her right paw and a brown satchel over her left arm. Simba and Sarabi became wary as they wondered why she had Sora’s belongings. Just then, Simba’s sadness started to lift up instantly the moment he saw Nala and Sora behind Vitani.
Simba called out to Nala and Sora but they didn’t respond back to him. Sarabi knew that something was off as she saw their eyes glowing green when they approached closer. Simba also saw this as he said,”Zira, what did you do to them? Why are they acting strange?” Zira and her followers started to walk closer to him as she said,”Let’s just say that I put a little spell on them so they wouldn’t act all hostile against me. Now to business… are you going to keep your word, oh great king?” Simba grew more angry as he wanted to save his wife and best friend which made Sarabi more worried.
“As king, I must always keep my word… no matter how hard the situation is. Now release Nala and Sora from your control! I promised you my kingdom if you traded them back! If you break your promise, I will kill you!,” Simba said as he was ready to fight with his mother against them. Zira yelled at them to calm down as she said,”I suggest you relax Simba, or else Vitani will hurt Nala with her keyblade! She has gotten quite a lot of practice with her new toy”.
Vitani held her keyblade up close to Nala’s neck preparing to slice it open. Simba wanted to fight against Zira, but Sarabi urged him to listen to her as they didn’t want to do anything that could cause Nala and Sora harm. Reluctantly, Simba backed down and awaited to see what Zira was planning to do next. “Before I release them, I want to show you something. I found this on Sora’s phone that you need to check out,” Zira said as she tossed the phone to Simba who catched it in the air, unsure of what he was going to see.
The moment Simba opened Sora’s phone, he almost had a heart attack as he was shocked to see all the pics of Nala and Sora having sex. Sarabi got a glimpse at the photos as she couldn’t believe what they were witnessing. From the way they were acting, Sarabi could tell that something was wrong with them but she couldn’t figure out what. Simba was too busy in his feelings to figure out what was really happening as he kept viewing the photos. “This… this can’t be real. What is the meaning of this, Zira?! I know you had something to do with this! Nala would never cheat on me and Sora would never do this to a friend!,” Simba said angrily.
“Unfortunately, this is real. I had nothing to do with this. If you don’t believe me, check the video that they made together and what Nala said about you,” Zira said as she was trying to trick him. Simba scrolled down and began to watch the video featuring them. As the video played, Simba heard what Nala said about him and Sora being a better mate as he became more heart broken. Sarabi also viewed the video and was surprised like Simba, however she noticed how weird they were acting to each other like they were being forced to mate each other. She tried to explain this to her son, but Simba wouldn’t listen as he was feeling too depressed.
“No… I don’t believe this is real. It.. can’t be. Nala would never do something like this… she wouldn’t. We’ve known each other since our childhoods,” Simba said sadly. “You want to know why Nala did this? It’s because you weren’t there for her! While you were relaxing and enjoying your journey, Nala was in trouble and crying for your help! She wanted to believe that you would rescue her, but you didn’t,” Zira said. “I didn’t mean to be gone for so long! Nala knew… she knew that I had responsibilities to uphold as king! In my spare time, I tried to spend every second with her no matter how short they were!,” Simba said towards Zira.
“Well… despite being king, I would assume you would always put your duties as husband first. Nala always talked about those special moments you both had together like when she found you alive in the jungle and you two shared an intimate moment. I guess none of that mattered anymore to you since you gave up searching her,” Zira chuckled evilly. “I didn’t give up searching for her! I never did! If I had known you took Nala, I would have come straight to the Out Lands and killed you personally myself!,” Simba said with anger. “Simba, please calm down! Zira is trying to get in your head!,” Sarabi said but Simba wouldn’t listen as he snarled at his mother.
“We’ve been talking so much about Nala that I almost forgot about your little friend Sora here. He mentioned how he helped you defeat my beloved late husband Scar in that battle which is one of the reasons why I hate him. Aside from that, he seems to look up to you as a role model and wants to be a great leader like you. I’ve learned that you both have bonded quite well together in your time. Sora would often visit this world to see you and the rest of his friends. He also told me that you invite him to do what you guys call “bro-activities” like work out together and patrol. You really see him as one of your best friends. It was such a pain to see the horrible look on his face when he knew you weren’t coming for him,” Zira said as she was continuing to play mind games with Simba.
“Shut.. shut up Zira! I’m tired of hearing all this crap. Just release my friends,” Simba said with much anger. Sarabi knew that her son was about to blow, but he would not listen to her no matter how hard she tried. “Soon, they became desperate and wanted to get back at you by having sex together. I never controlled any of the actions they did. They purposely and willingly did all those things together to make you feel like this. Like I said, they needed you, but you didn’t come. Eventually, they gave their lives up to me and now I own them. It hurts to see a loved one go through something like that, doesn’t it?,” Zira said as she was using lies to manipulate him.
Simba could not hold in his anger anymore and just let it all out as he said,”ENOUGH!! You want me to say I’m a bad person?! Ok, I am a bad person! I regret leaving my wife and friend alone! If I had stayed, none of this would have happened!” Sarabi was worried about her son’s health as his face was filled with anger and his mane was all ruffled from the stress. Just then, she saw Simba’s anger fade to sadness as she saw tears coming down his face.
“It’s my fault… it’s my fault that I let this happen. I let Nala and Sora down. I should have been there more for them. Please… please let them go Zira. I will give you my throne, the kingdom, everything. All I ask is for you to give me them. Whether what Nala and Sora did was true or not, I can figure it out later with them. Just please give them back. I can’t take this feeling anymore,” he said.
Simba could not hold his feelings in anymore as he dropped to his knees and broke into more tears. Sarabi was so busy trying to comfort her son that she lost focus on figuring out the problem with Nala and Sora. Zira had an evil smirk on her face as she was glad that she was able to break Simba a bit to weaken him. And now, it was time for her to begin her plan. Zira approached Simba and Sarabi closely as she said,”You have suffered so much, Simba. I promised to give Nala and Sora back and that’s what I will do. But before that happens, let me give you one final gift to cheer you up. It’s called… sweet revenge bitch! Now Vitani!”
Within a second, Vitani grabbed some dark powder from her satchel and threw it into their eyes. Simba and Sarabi became blinded as the powder was irritating their eyes painfully. This was all Zira’s plan in order to take down Simba easily. “You both are complete idiots! Once I take you both down, there will be no one left to stand in my way! Nala and Sora, you deal with Sarabi. Make sure to knock her out so I can control her. Vitani and I will deal with Simba,” Zira commanded her followers. “Yes, mistress Zira. We will obey and do as you wish,” Nala and Sora said as they began to attack Sarabi while Zira and Vitani charged at Simba.
Despite being blinded, Simba and Sarabi were still aware of their surroundings as they doged their first attacks. With everything going so fast, there wasn’t enough time for them to call for help. Until their eye visions were fully cleared, Simba and his mother would have to rely on their other senses to defeat Zira and her team. “So everything you said and showed me was all a lie? You were behind it all?,” Simba angrily asked Zira. “Yes you fool! Everything went according to my plan. Did you actually believe that I would give them back to you? They are useful servants and you both will soon join them as my followers!,” Zira yelled. Just then, Sarabi was able to connect all the clues together. The necklace, the green eyes and the way Sora and Nala were acting… Zira had the Eye of Ogo.
“Your necklace Zira… that’s the Eye of Ogo! Now I remember… Nala had told me you stole an artifact from Scar’s trophy room! That necklace grants hypnotic powers to the user which explains why they have been acting strange,” Sarabi yelled at Zira. “You’re very clever Sarabi, but it’s too late for you both to do anything about it. Once I get rid of you two, there will be no one to stand in my way! Vitani, attack Simba!,” Zira instructed her daughter. Vitani tried to attack Simba’s head with the keyblade, but Simba was able to counter her moves and push her to the ground.
“You used your necklace to make Nala and Sora mate with each other, so I’m going to make sure you pay for your crimes! I will make sure you suffer for everything that you did, Zira! I will kill you with my bare paws and end you for good! Let us save our friends and defeat Zira together, mother!,” Simba said as he charged at Zira and Vitani while Sarabi went after Nala and Sora. Simba and Zira both charged at one another as they started grappling to see who had the upper strength. Zira tried to use her tricks, but Simba was able to overpower and push her away. Simba needed to use all his strength if he wanted to win. Just then, he heard Vitani charging at him from behind as he quickly used his legs to knock Vitani off her feet. She landed on the ground as Zira helped her stand back up to continue fighting.
Meanwhile, Sarabi was still dealing with Nala and Sora as she was trying to free them somehow. “Nala! Sora! Please snap out of it! I know you’re still in there! I’m going to help save you guys!,” Sarabi said to them. Nala lunged at Sarabi and had her in a choke hold as Sora was about to hit her. But before he could do that, Sarabi was able to escape as she pushed Nala forward to him, knocking them both to the ground. However, they both got back up and began attacking Sarabi again.
The epic showdown between both sides continued on for a few more minutes until some were starting to become weak. Sarabi had tried attacking Nala and Sora roughly, but Zira’s power over them was too strong to break. Despite the bruises she got, Sarabi managed to knock Sora to the ground as she was left with Nala. The two went back and forth punching each other roughly until Sarabi was able to knock Nala down with a turning spin kick.
Sarabi noticed Nala struggling to get up as she knelt down beside her and said,”Nala it’s me, Sarabi! Can you hear me? I need you to come back to us!” But before Sarabi could figure out that it was a trick, Nala turned to her and delivered a severe punch to her face. Sora got back to his feet as he grabbed Sarabi and placed her in a Nelson hold. Nala began to attack Sarabi’s head with each punch she did. Sarabi tried to stay awake, but she was losing her strength very quickly. Very soon, her vision started to fade to black as Sarabi became unconscious.
“Mistress Zira, we have been able to defeat Sarabi. What are your next orders?,” Nala asked Zira. During the time they were fighting, Simba was able to knock Vitani out and fought against Zira alone. They exchanged many blows to one other until Simba managed to body slam Zira to the ground. With one paw, he began to choke Zira as he was able to slice her with his claws. Just then, he heard Nala speak and saw that his mother was knocked out. Simba rushed to Nala and embraced her tightly as he said, “Nala, please listen to me! It’s me, Simba! Your husband and partner for life! Please snap out! I need you here with me!”
For a moment, it looked like Nala was trying to break free but Zira’s power still controlled her as she slapped Simba across his face. Out of nowhere, Vitani emerged from behind as she threw more of her dark powder into Simba’s eyes. Once he became blinded again, Vitani knocked Simba’s head with the keyblade as he fell to the ground. She went to check on Zira as she said,”Mother, are you alright? I managed to knock out Simba for a few minutes and Nala and Sora have captured Sarabi.” Zira slowly got back to her feet as she said,”Excellent work, sweet Vitani. Let us deal with Sarabi first and then we can finish Simba. Sora and Nala, I want you to keep holding Sarabi still while I use my powers on her.”
They both obeyed their mistress as Zira placed her paws on Sarabi’s head hoping to control her. Sarabi could feel the pain rushing through her head. She tried to escape and fight back but they were holding her back tight and Vitani kept punching her everytime she moved. Very soon, Sarabi began to lose her strength and her mind started to fade away as she closed her eyes. When Sarabi reopened her eyes, it was revealed that she was now under Zira’s control.
Zira laughed as she now had Nala, Sora and Sarabi as her servants. However, there was one person left to deal with as she saw Simba almost awakening. “All of you listen up to what I’m going to say. This is the moment where I will take over this kingdom. You all will help me defeat Simba and will go on to serve me forever. Is that clear?,” Zira asked them. Her followers obeyed her commands and Vitani already knew she would do whatever it takes to help her mother.
Simba started to wake up as he felt a painful bump on his head. Before he could even stand up, he saw many feet surrounding him. Simba slowly stared up as he saw Nala, Sora, and his mother Sarabi standing around him. He then saw Zira approach him with Vitani by her side. “Well well well… It looks like I won, Simba. They all serve me now, and you will be my servant too,” Zira said to a defeated Simba.
Simba didn’t want to give up fighting, but he also didn’t have enough strength like before. “Why do you want me to be a servant, Zira? After all that hatred for me, I would assume that you wanted me dead,” Simba asked her. “Oh I do have so much hatred for you and I wanted to kill you personally, but I realized that torturing you will be so much more fun. I’m going to make you pay for what you did to me! You took everything that was rightfully mine away from me and I will see that you suffer greatly just like I did! Also, it would also be a shame to kill someone muscular and attractive like you who can bear my future children,” Zira evilly said to him.
Despite being defeated, Simba continued to argue back and believed in hope. “You may have won today Zira but no matter how many people you defeat, there will always be someone to stand against you! Good always defeats evil in the end!,” Simba said angrily. Zira smirked and laughed at Simba’s words as she said,”Oh I’m not worried at all, Simba. I’m not afraid of anyone who would face me. Let them try and they will fall and fail like you. But now, it is time for me to step out of the darkness and shadows and take my rightful place as the new queen of the Pride Lands! Seize him my servants!”
Nala, Sora, and Sarbai held Simba to his knees as they made sure he couldn’t get up. Simba tried to use whatever energy he had left, but it wasn’t enough to overpower them.
Zira got on her knees as she placed her paws on Simba’s head as she tried to control him. Simba screamed in pain as he tried to resist her powers. Zira tried harder to control Simba’s mind as she knew he was powerful. Simba did the best he could to hold it in as he didn’t want to give in. However, his fears soon came true as he started to feel Zira’s power take over him. At the moment, he began to have flashbacks to the times he had fun with Nala, the times he bonded with Sora and the times he took care of his mother Sarabi. Very soon, all his memories would fade away into extinction. And just like that, Simba passed out in the arms of his loved ones.
Zira ordered them to release Simba as he fell to the floor. At first, he didn’t get up which made Zira wonder if it worked, but after a minute Simba started to rise up to his feet. Vitani had her keyblade ready in case Simba was still a threat. He finally stood on his feet again as his head was looking down. After a few seconds, Simba faced Zira and it was revealed that he was now one of her servants. Vitani happily embraced her mother as she said,”Mother… we did it. We finally did it! We defeated Simba and his friends!” Zira smiled evilly and embraced her daughter as she replied,”Yes Vitani, we did it. And now the entire Pride Lands is ours for the taking. I never thought that this day would come. You did well, Vitani. You will be rewarded for all your hard work.”
“Thank you, mother! I cannot wait to rule this kingdom alongside you. Just think of all the chaos we are going to cause,” Vitani said. “Yes this is going to be so much fun. As for you four, from now on you will address me as queen Zira and my daughter princess Vitani! Now bow down and show your new rulers some proper respect!,” Zira demanded her servants. They all got on their knees and bowed to Zira and Vitani as they said,”All hail queen Zira and princess Vitani! The new rulers of the Pride Lands!”
Zira and Vitani enjoyed the attention they were receiving. “As the new rulers, what should we do first, mother?,” Vitani asked her. “Oh I have plans for everyone in the Pride Lands, but I will make that announcement later tonight. In the meantime, let's explore our new home. Come along my servants," she said to Vitani and their new servants. They obeyed and followed their new masters as they were ready to serve them. Zira was going to enjoy every moment being queen.
A few hours later…
Night had fallen in the Pride Lands as the animals were gathering for an emergency meeting near Pride Rock as requested by their majesties. They weren't sure what was happening as they waited for Simba to arrive. Just then, large groups of outlander animals emerged from the darkness and began to surround the Pride Landers. All the animals that lived in the Pride Lands were filled with fear as their beloved home was being overrun by enemies. The hyenas arrived in many packs chasing for food to eat, the vultures flew high in the skies amongst the other birds trying to snatch them for lunch, and some jackals started invading and taking over homes that belonged to innocent creatures. Some animals prepared to fight while others began to panic as they wanted answers to why this was all happening.
Just then, the outlanders stopped their attacks as they saw Rafiki approaching to speak to everyone. Unaware to them, Rafiki had fallen to Zira's control and was hypnotized as his eyes glowed green. “Pride Landers! It is very unfortunate for me to announce that Simba has decided to step down as king. He believes that he isn’t suited to rule these lands anymore. However, he has announced his replacement for the throne. Everyone please bow and show some appreciation to your new rulers, queen Zira and her daughter princess Vitani!,” Rafiki announced.
Zira and Vitani came from behind as they both looked over their subjects. Zira wore a dark black crown with red rubies and Vitani wore a dark black tiara with white crystals. “My fellow subjects, it is with great pleasure that I take over as ruler of the Pride Lands. Simba has given his throne to me. This will be a new era of peace,” Zira said to them. The Pride Landers could not believe what was happening while the Out Landers were cheering for Zira. Some of the Pride Landers began to argue and believe Zira stole the crown. They all were about to attack Zira, until some of the hyenas stood in their way trying to protect their new queen. They continued to rebel until Zira released a mighty roar that finally settled everyone down.
“Now listen up you idiots! Whether you like it or not, I am going to be your queen! You will show my daughter and I the proper respect that we deserve! Now listen closely as I go over the new rules. Anyone that defies my rule or goes against me shall be sent to live in the Out Lands. From this point on, all Out Landers are welcomed into the Pride lands and may eat and live however they please. If anyone has a problem with me, then they will deal with my “assistants''. Come on out you guys!,” Zira said as she snapped her fingers to summon them.
And just like that, Simba, Nala, Sora, and Sarabi emerged from behind as they all stood side by side with their arms behind their backs among their new masters. “As you can see, each of your so-called “heroes'' failed to defeat me. Your loving queen Nala, your skillful huntress Sarabi and your young warrior Sora all could not overpower me. Even your precious mighty king Simba did not have a chance against me, and he’s supposed to be your wonderful savior? Hah, I think not. Let this be a lesson to all of you… try to defy your new rulers and you will end up just like them. Now I’m going to give you all one last chance… Bow down and show us some proper respect,” Zira said to them.
The Pride Landers could not believe that their great king and his comrades had fallen to the hands of evil. Without Simba’s guidance, everyone began to lose hope as it seemed there was nothing they could do or say. They all hesitated at first but after being threatened by Zira as well as some of the Out Landers, they had no choice as they all got on their knees and bowed to their new rulers. Some of them began to weep like the children who were afraid of what was going to happen to them while the outlanders looked at their prey knowing they were going to feast well tonight.
Zira had finally done it. Her quest for power and vengeance was complete. She had finally risen to the top of the kingdom. With Simba and the others out of the way, Zira, along with her daughter, was ready to rule her new kingdom through chaos and brutality. Vitani happily stood next to her mother and held her hand as she was glad to help her achieve her destiny and could not wait to spread evil throughout the lands.
“This is the fate of what happens to those that cross us. Now pledge your loyalty and acknowledge us as your new rulers!,” Zira demanded of all the animals including her assistants. “All hail queen Zira and princess Vitani! The new rulers of the Pride Lands,” Simba and the others said. Zira and Vitani smiled evilly basking in their success and continued to be showered with applause and cheers. Tomorrow morning, they will begin working on their new empire.
