and I","writing":"They had been on the road for less than an hour, the horse boy giggling and shaking his head as he spoke. “Oh come on Hana.. you promised to behave until we stopped for the night. Having a little trouble concentrating on the road over here with that tail flipping around in my lap like that.”\n\n“I can’t help it…...mostly.” Hana said with a little giggle. “It just kinda wiggles and stuff when I’m happy, that and a sexy mate of mine isn’t helping.”\n\n“If that’s the case,” the equine said grabbing the puppy girls tail and prying it from between his thighs again, “you must be ecstatic. I don’t think your tail was wiggled so much since our first time.”\n\n“Well yeah.” She said, the tip of her tail still wiggling in her mate’s hand. “I got the blessings to marry the best man ever…...and we’re off to a vacation that will lead to us getting married.” Hana said smiling and licking her lips.\n\n“I still can’t believe how well things went with my mom,” the palomino boy said reaching over, laying his lover’s tail in the seat beside. her. His paw came up under her muzzle, his thumb lovingly stroking her cheek. “Mom agreeing to anything was a shock, and going with us is a surprise I really didn’t expect.” Looking into the rearview mirror at his soon to be mother-in-law he said, “I’m a little worried though, with the way she and your mom hit it off when they met I almost expect something to go wrong.”\n\n“That was a little odd…..but hey that’s better in my book.” Hana said looking over to her lover. “Oh, and don’t worry about it…..nothing bad is going to happen…….and if it does, me, you and our family will make it through and all.”\n\n“I guess…” Zeus replied, his paw dropping to his lovers leg rubbing and squeezing it a little. “So, we have about… three more hours until we’re done with this leg of the trip. We’ll be stopping for the night in Topeka Kansas. I guess it’s best to hit the motel first and we can find out what’s close by to get something to eat before we get comfy.’\n\n“Sounds good to me…..After the drive to get to Winter Creek and all…..I don’t like being in a car that much.” Hana said smiling a little as she put her hand on her lover’s\n\n“That’s why I set the trip up in short hops sweetie…” Zeus said rubbing his lover’s leg again. “I don’t like long trips.. dad always drove for hours before we would stop. It got really boring and the rest of the kids and I would end up in trouble because of it.” His paw sliding up her leg a little higher, teasingly close to the puppy girls groin he said, “when we get off the highway we’ll hit the closest gas station first and get that out of the way so we can get off to a good start tomorrow.”\n\n“That sounds like me.” Hana said with a little snicker. “And well…..you know with your hand going where it’s going, you can’t blame me for being the distraction this time.” Hana said looking over to her lover and poking her tongue out at him. “You know, being in car with all the kids like that….I can see all the trouble happening.”\n\n“Yes I can,” the equine boy said with a huge grin on his face. “If you weren’t so damn sexy I wouldn’t get distracted so easily. You and that fluff are going to get me into no end of trouble sweet lips.”\n\n“Really…….I’m sure thats not going to be the only thing that does.” She said as she leaned in. “What about the fact that we don’t need to use condoms….”\n\nThe horse boys ears twitched excitedly, his entire body shuddering and the paw in his lover’s lap creeping a little higher as he tried to contain himself. “Don’t… don’t remind me….” he squeaked out in response. “Just thinking about what it will be like to really feel you around me like that….” As another shiver ran through the horse boy he added, “God sex with you is fantastic as it is. Without anything between us or anything….”\n\n“Without anything between you….it’s going to be a messy affair.” Chou said snickering a little as she looked up from her book. “Make sure you have towles under you…..I don’t think that mom and dad want to have to wash your bed linens when they are like sheet rock.”\n\n“Moooooooooom.” Hana huffed out. “Go back to reading…...and just who all have you told about this wedding back home?”\n\n“Yes.” Chou said as she went back to reading her book.\n\n“Mom…..who?” Hana asked again.\n\n“What? You told me to go back to my book.” She said looking up again.\n\n“Damn it mom.” Hana said shaking her head. “I’m just going to go with everyone.”\n\nSnickering a little at his puppy lover Zeus chimed in, “so just how bad could it be if she told everyone like you think she did?” Glancing over to hr for a moment he said, “I mean are we talking twenty furs? Forty?”\n\n“Closer to forty.” Hana said shaking her head. “These things are…….big to say the least.”\n\n“Yes.”\n\n“Closer to forty or more than forty?” Zeus asked glancing up to the rearview mirror again. “Just how big is big over there? I mean I know some weddings over here can be hundreds of people, but that’s usually people with a lot of money showing off and stuff.”\n\n“Yeeeeeeeah…..try whole towns.” Chou said snickering a little. “But no I don’t think that it’s going to be a whole town…...maybe sixtyish people…..depends if Hana invites her old friends and all.”\n\n“Ooooookay…” the equine boy said, trailing the word out as his eyes widened a bit. “So… ummmm, is there anything else I should know about weddings in Japan? Like… any weird or unusual customs or anything other than those.. kimbonno things you mentioned.” \n\n“Kimono sweetie.” Hana said smiling. “And no…...not that I can think of. I mean we aren't doing the whole dye me white thing, so we should be good…..just get used to a lof bowing and the like.”\n\n“Kim-oh-no...kim-ohno...kimono, okay I think I can maybe not mess that one up again,” the palomino said with a little snicker. “And I guess the bowing won’t be too bad. But I still don’t quite get the whole you beng white thing Hana. I mean you mean your arms and legs right?”\n\n“The being white thing, being white shows to the gods that I am pure when I am given to you…..and no it’s not just arms, legs and face….it’s everything.”\n\nTrying hard to contain the snicker that escaped his muzzle Zeus said, “okay… I can see why we’re not doing that. And all white? That’s… with your fluff you would end up looking like a scared to death cat, or a giant snowball.”\n\n“I would think more of an angry snowman.” Hana said poking her tongue out at her lover. “You would have it easy…..just stand there and look good.”\n\nStretching out in the seat as best as he could, the front of his jeans clearly showing the cylindrical bulge of his stiffening prick as images of his lover stark white ran through his mind the equine asked, “so…. you and mama Chou keep talking about you and she being kind of traditional and all…” He trailed off for a few moments, seemingly considering his words carefully. “Just… how far does that go. There’s a guy, an exchange student in one of my classes.. his name is, and I hope I don’t mess this up, Kisuki.. he’s been kind of telling me about the history of Japan and things like that. I don’t understand some of it, but the way he talks about women being treated and all…”.\n\n“What all has he been saying?” Chou asked as she leaned in a little bit. “I’m sure that it can be cleared up easily.”\n\n“Well… the horse boy said glancing at the mirror again and seeing the odd look in Chou’s eyes. From the way he talks women are treated like they barely exist or like property of some kind. He said that getting married is considered their duty and something they have to do by a certain age or they are worthless. He kind of made it sound like the women are trained from an early age to be little more than servants to men… “\n\n“That’s…...that’s well the old days and the old ways that have…..well died.” Chou spoke sternly. “Now, a marriage is a thing of equality and all that….none of that, you’re my wife, you’re nothing more than a thing to me mess……” She said shaking her head a little. “I’m glad that, that died a long time ago.”\n\n“Good…” the horse boy said glancing to his lover. “There is no way in hell I could ever treat Hana like what he was saying men used to do. And to be honest I want her to be my partner, my equal, not act like a possession or anything like that.”\n\n“And you are a very noble samaria and soon to be husband for it. Things work better when both wheels are heading in the same direction.” Chou said smiling.\n\n“Mom…..you’re a dork.” Hana said smiling and shaking her head. “You and your sayings.”\n\n“Maybe a little, but she makes a good point,” Zeus said nodding as if deciding on something. “Okay, I think I got this and understand what’s going to happen as far as the wedding and all. My family taking a vacation on such short notice is something that I can’t believe we talked them into so fast So, any big plans for while we’re in Japan or are we just winging it and bumming around or what?”\n\n“Well there are a few festivals that I want to hit and take you and your family to.” Chou said smiling and she leaned in close. “Oh, and I’m taking your mom out to a saki bar.” She said giggling.\n\n“Zeus…..make sure your dad goes with them…..mom gets…...flirty when she is drunk.” Hana said turning and looking to her mother.\n\n“I do not…...I’m just more friendly.” Chou said in her defense.\n\nCocking an eyebrow the horse boy said, “okay, I will… and hopefully my parents can behave themselves without us around to keep them straight. They don’t say anything about stuff from their past, but according to my aunts and uncles they were both a little… freaky when they were younger.”\n\n“And that’s why mom and your mom get along, right there.” Hana said smiling over at her mom. “I know one thing…..I’m starting to get hungry.”\n\n“You know…..you have a food sense Hana.” Chou said smiling and looking out the window. “Look.” She said pointing to a building, the sign out front reading Tuptim Thai restaurant.\n\n“Never tried anything like that,” the horse boy said moving over to the right lane of the highway. “But considering where we’re heading, no time like the present.”\n\n“Don’t worry, I will help you pick out somethings that you will like.” Hana said smiling as they pulled into the parking lot of the restaurant. \n\n“We will make sure that you don’t get anything that can kill you, like the blowfish.” Chou said with a snicker.\n\n“Ummmm, what?” the equine boy said pulling into an empty parking space, the other cars following along and parking nearby. “Should I be afraid for anyones safety here.”\n\n“Not really…...the blowfish can kill you, only if the person that makes it doesn’t know what they are doing…..and I think that most places that serve it make the person go through a lot of training to even be able to handle it or something like that.” Chou said as she got out of the car, stretching out as she watched the others getting out of the cars and coming over to them.\n\n“Interesting choice of rest stop,” Tabitha said as she walked up to where her son and the raccoon dog girl stood with her mother. “I get the feeling though that your girlfriend had more to do with the choice than you did… Mr. stick in the mud, ‘I only eat burgers when we eat out’.”\n\n“Well mom and I. We thought that it would be best to introduce you all to the local food a little at the time.” Hana said smiling as she stood next to her lover, holding his hand. \n\n“And don’t worry, we will make sure that we get you things that you will like…..our food is good if just a little weird.” Chou said smiling a little. “And man, wasabi is good on everything.”\n\n“Wasawhatsi?” the youngest of the equines said as the rest of the family joined them at the front door of the eatery.\n\n“It’s a kind of spice…...but despite what mom will tell you, it’s going to be hot as hell.” Hana said looking to the older raccoon dog. “So…..don’t take her up on the wasabi bet…..:”\n\n“Oh come on it’s tradition…...we have to welcome them to the family some how.” Chou said smiling as they started heading into the building. “And it’s not that hot…..it’s only hot if you’re a wuss.”\n\n“It’s more about how much you use,”Alexander said as he followed the two older women into the building. “If you’re not used to it a little can be quite spicy, whereas if you consume it regularly then a larger quantity would have little effect.” \n\n“She will try to get you to take like half a spoon full of it if she can…..she thinks that she’s slick.” Hana said looking back to her mother. \n\n“Hey…...That’s how I can tell if someone is a wuss.” Chou said poking her tongue out. The group walking into the building.\n\nThe inside of the building looked like a lot of modern restaurants, tables and booths scattered about with a buffet table running through part of it, in the back was a bar. It did have western influences scattered around, but the big draw was the food and the sushi bar. “How can I help you.” A tall, female dumbo rat asked as she walked up to the group.\n\n“We need a table for eight.” Chou said smiling to the white and brown splotched rat.\n\n“Follow me then.” She said turning and starting to lead them off to a booth. “So will you be ordering from the menu of from the buffet?” She asked, stopping at a table, “here we are.”\n\n“Buffet….” Chou said as she slipped into one of the seats, sliding in and letting Hana and her lover slid in as the rest of the family did the same.\n\n“Can I get your drink orders?” The rat asked pulling out a little note pad and a pen.\n\n“Green tea.” Hana said smiling up to the waitress.\n\n“Saki for me and her.” Chou said pointing to the mother horse that was sitting with her.\n\n“I’ll… have what she’s having,” Zeus said nodding towards his lover.\n\n“Coke,” Randy said plainly, looking over to his youngest brother waiting for the boy to pay attention to the waitress.\n\n“Oh, my turn I guess,” Brian the youngest equine said blushing sheepishly. “I’ll have a sprite… Please.”\n\n“Ramune,” Shannon spoke up as she took a seat next to her father.\n\nLooking to the spotted rat woman Alexander said, “I always mispronounce the name, but I believe it is known by Jade Dew as well?” he asked watching the servers eyes light up a little. “I see you understand what I’m asking for,” the older horse male said with a little grin.\n\nJotting down the orders as she was given them before putting the little notepad into her apron pocket. “Ok, I will be back in just moment or two with your drinks.” The happy rat girl said as she turned and started off to the kitchen.\n\n“So, do we want to split up and some of go to the buffet while the other wait for the drinks?” Hana asked looking around the table.\n\n“A good idea,” Alexander said grinning at the puppy girl and his oldest son. “Why don’t the mother’s, Zeus and Hana and Shannon go ahead, the other boys and I will wait for our drinks before heading that way.”\n\n“Works for me,” Zeus said rising to his hooves and taking his lover’s paw in his. “I’d much rather have someone go with me that has some idea of what the hell I’m putting on my plate.”\n\n“Don’t worry, I’ll make sure that you don’t get the cat or anything like that.” Hana said smiling and snickering a little.\n\n“Why, this place looks like it knows how to cook a cat.” Chou said, glancing around and smiling at the sight of some of the people in the building looking at her for the comment that she just made.\n\n“Mom…..behave.” Hana said taking her lover and leading him on.\n\n“So Tabby.” Chou said looking over to the other mother, “what kind of food do you like, lets see what we can find you that you might like.”\n\n“Just about anything,” the mother equine said as they walked to the buffet table. “I haven’t tried a lot of seafood though, it’s not a fun place to take a bunch of screaming hungry kids. When they got older it was practics, recitals, concerts and the like and Alex and I never really had the time to go out much.”\n\n“Well we will have to get you some sushi….if you don’t like the idea of raw fish, then I know a few good cooked dishes.” She said leading the horse mother up to the sushi bar. “The salmon roe is good.” She said as she scooped up a few of the rolls and setting them her plate, along with a few other odd looking pieces of food.\n\n“I’ll leave it to you Chou, I doubt you would steer me too far wrong,” she said watching the mother raccoon dog as she added little bits of different foods to both of their plates. “Honestly… this will be the first family vacation that doesn’t end at some fool amusement park of water park in years. I’m glad for the change of venue to be totally honest.” Looking over the wide selection of varied dishes she spied something that caught her attention. “What is that over there… on the little skewers…” she asked indicating the item she was speaking of.\n\n“That.” Chou said picking one up. “It’s rat…..not really, it’s roasted beef.” She said setting two of them on her plate. “And as for the water parks and the like, we have them back home, but they are nothing like the ones that you have seen here.” Chou said smiling as she went about loading up the plates with a selection of things that she thought that the mother horse would like. “Well this looks like a good first round.” She said as she started heading back to the table.\n\nAs he and Hana made selections from the offerings of the buffet he leaned over and whispered into her ear, “hmmm, maybe you’re heritage explains a few things. Like why I can’t seem to get enough of my sexy little puppy girl;friend. You must be like chinese food, all I can eat and an hour later I’m starving for more.”\n\n“You’re a dork.” Hana said smiling and shaking her head a little bit. “And that’s Chinese…..you know that I’m Japanese right?” She said looking up to him for a moment before poking her tongue out at him.\n\nHis muzzle very close to her ear, his breath tickling the short, soft fur as he said, “ohhh sooo solly me big stupid man, not know diffalance,” in a horridly bad imitation of an oriental accent, worse than most movies portray.\n\n“Ok. I thought that you couldn’t be more of a dork…..I think that changes the opinion on that.” She said with a little snicker. “But at least you’re a cute dork.” She said standing on her tippy toes a little to plant a kiss on his cheek.\n\nGrabbing his lover around the waist as she dropped to her foot-paws again and turned back to the buffet he began to rub her belly slowly. “So tell me sweet cakes, who has the better paws… me or moose face?”\n\n“Moose face was, but you sure have been picking up on all the right spots…..I have to say that you have gotten better…..I mean….when you get to going….I swear that I’m going to just melt into you and your rubbing.” Hana said blushing a little.\n\n“I like the sound of that,” the horse boy said reaching for a potsticker as he turned his head a little and nipped the side of her neck playfully. “So what’s the story with this General Tso’s chicken or whatever it is thing.”\n\n“What do you mean?” Hana asked cocking her head to the side a little. “It’s a pretty good meal. It tastes as good as some of the stuff from back home….but not as good, then again, there is little that beat’s home cooking and all.” Hana said smiling and licking her lips. “There is going to be so much to show you when we get there, I think that might be a little case of culture shock happening at some point.” She said pulling away from her lover and starting to lead him back to the table.\n\n“As long as I have my little puppy to guide me… what could go wrong?” the equine boy asked as he was led back to their table.\n\n“Alright boys, we’re up,” the father palomino said ushering the other males from their sats and off to the buffet as the others returned. “Don’t spend all day looking things over either Randy. If you’re not sure just get a little bit and try it, you can go back for more of the things you like.”\n\n“Don’t worry, I’m sure they will find something that they all like.” Hana said smiling as she watched the males starting to slide out of the booth and off to the buffet to find their food. “It looks like mom helped you find some good things.” Hana said looking over to the mother horse’s plate. “Just remember what I said about the wasabi….”\n\n“I will… though if any of this is as good as it looks, I don’t know why you would want to add anything to it,” Tabitha said grinning at her daughter-in-law to be. “But I think I will give it a try… when in Rome as they way.”\n\n“Well I will tell you the wasbie makes a lot of things better….but just a little.” Hana said smiling and picking up her chopsticks. “I think that wasabi is best on the sushi…”\n\nRandy sat in his seat as the rest of the palomino family rejoined them at the booth, the older of the two boys having made an unexpected stop along the way. Zeus nearly burst out laughing when the other male began to fluff open a large, black trash bag, tearing a hole in the closed end and pulling it over himself. Before anyone at the table could inquire about it the youngest of the Chamberlain children hopped up on the seat beside his older brother. taking his chopsticks in paw and trying his best. He only managed to succeed in flipping each bite of food he tried to pick up to the side, right on Randy and his makeshift poncho.\n\n“Ummmmmm we do have some forks for the little ones.” Chou said smiling and snickering a little bit at the sight. “Most of the kids his age have little forks that they use.” She said offering the littlest one a fork. \n\n“This happen a lot?” Hana asked looking up to her mate, smiling and snickering a little bit. \n\n“Yes…” Randy responded before his other brother could utter a sound. “Ever since mom first had the idea of teaching him to use chopsticks to improve his hand eye co-ordination.” Picking up a piece of sushi with his own chopsticks and looking to his younger sibling the other male said, “like this, gently, not like you’re trying to steal a cookie from a feral.” Looking over at his brother Zeus and the puppy girl beside him he added, “not so bad when it’s just rice or dry cereal. But from the looks of this place… I figured I would be wearing at least part of whatever was on his plate.”\n“Well try doing what I did for Zeus.” Hana said smiling and snickering a little as she nudged her lover a little. “Just take his hand and show him…..be his guide so to speak…..it took him a few tries, but soon he got it….and just look at him now.” Hana said smiling as she scooped up one of the salmon rolls that she had gotten, happily eating it.\n\n“Still not as good as my mate here,” the palomino boy said smiling and picking up the food from his plate and eating it easily. “But I’m getting there.” Cutting his eyes to his dad Zeus added, “but mama Chou has a point… you might want to give short stack a fork before he drowns poor Randy in food over there.”\n\n“Yes, there will be lots of time for him to learn.” Chou said smiling and snickering to herself. “Sooooo Alexander…...do you like hot stuff?”\n\n“Love it… just can't eat as much of it as I could get away with in my younger days,” the horse father said with a bit of a frown.\n\n“No… you can not,” Tabitha said in a scolding tone. “I told you the last time, I don’t think I can take another scare like the last one.”\n\n“What did he do?” Chou asked tilting her head, thinking twice about trying to get him to eat the wasabi straight. \n\n“Let some damn fool talk him into a pepper challenge before he knew he had ulcer problems,” she said scowling at her mate harshly. “Scared the hell ut of me when I thought he was bleeding to death right before my eyes.”\n\n“Yeeeeah…..then you will want to keep him away from the wasabi…..” She paused a moment before looking at Shannon and Randy. “What bout you two? Up for a little challenge?” She said starting to smile, Hana just face palming.\n\n“I think I’ll pass Mrs. Chou, Shannon said shaking her head. “Never been a fan of having my face set on fire.”\n\n“Whimps…” Randy said scowling at his family. “Okay you want a guinea pig from the family you got it… hit me with your best shot,” the palomino boy said leaning back in his sat, crossing his arms over the trash bag still covering him.\n\n“Sounds like a bet to me.” Chou said as she picked up two of the spoon that were on the table, getting a good blob of wasabi on both of them. “You’re not going to be alone in it.” She said handing him one of the spoons. “On three.” She said holding up her spoon and count up from one, on three she put the spoon in her muzzle, licking the spicy paste from it and gulping it down a moment later. \n\nWhen the raccoon dog woman counted three, Randy flicked out his tongue, scooping the spicy paste from the spoon and taking it into his muzzle. Before swallowing any of it he made sure to spread it all around his mouth smacking a little as he scrapped the last of it off his tongue and gulped it down. After a few moments he brought one paw to his eyes, rubbing at the right one that seemed to be a little watery. “Not bad… nice and spicey but not blazing like peppers… more like an extra spicy horseradish.” Picking up his glass and taking a tiny sip he looked over to their company and hostess for the meal. “I’ll have to remember about this stuff, use a little sense with it and even dad would like it.”\n\n“That a boy.” Chou said smiling to the horse boy. “I see there is at least one non wuss in the group.” She said with a snicker. “But yes, used right it can bring out the flavor in many things.”\n\n“So if everyone ready for the trip.” Hana asked, pausing a moment. “What kind of boat did you book for us?” She looked up to her mother. “And don’t give me that….yes...mess.”\n\n“It’s a big boat….we will all have a room.” The mother said rolling her eyes. “You and your mate, then one for each of the other horses, and then the mom and dad in one, and me.” She said turning and looking to her daughter. “What did you think that I just booked a shrimp boat or something like that?”\n\n“Knowing you…..anything can happen.” Hana said smiling and shaking her head a little.\n\n“Anyway.” Chou said turning back to the group. “Eat up, be happy…..it’s all on me tonight.” She said holding up her little glass of sake.\n\n“Agreed, I think this counts as the first of many meals in celebration of a happy union…” Alexander said with a broad smile on his face. “To my son, and his charming, lovely mate…”\n\n“Indeed, to our son and the lovely young lady that is to be my daughter-in-law,” Tabitha said raising her glass to the other furs around the table. “May they be as happy as they are today for as long as they both can stand each other.”\n\n“Thanks a lot mom,” Zeus said cocking an eyebrow at his mother.\n\n“So….like for all the ever.” Hana said with a little snicker as she held up her glass. “And to new friends, family, and culture shock.”\n\n“I don’t think that the shock is going to be that bad….though I’m sure mom there isn’t going to want the young ones drinking too much….seeing as you only have to be eighteen to enjoy fine saki.” \n\n“Ummm… what?” the older female equine said a little wide eyed at the news. “I think we better establish some ground rules right now… don’t you Alexander?”\n\n“I would agree… especially since Randy is going with us…” the male horse said scowling at the eldest of his sons. “There will be no repeat of the toga party incident Randal, are we clear on that?”\n\n“That was not my fault dad,” Randy said in his own defence. “I had no idea that there would be strippers show up when I agreed to go.”\n\n“Horse shit,” Shannon blurted out, snorting madly and choking on her drink. “Then why did you call me and insist I bring your day pack, which i know is where your condom stash is, and that telescopic pole?”\n\n“Oh my, sounds like something that I would pull in my younger days.” Chou said smiling and snickering a little. “Sooooo did you bring the telescopic pole? I might show you a few things that will drive the girls…..boys…..whatever you like nuts.”\n\n“Moooooooom.” Hana huffed out. “You see…..this is what I have to put up with…….so you still want my family mixing in with yours?”\n\n“Like there is much of a choice?” Randy asked with a broad grin on his face. “I mean...you and horse lips are already doing the horizontal mambo… and it’s only a matter of time until he knocks you up… “\n\n“That’s quite enough Rany,” Alexander said shaking his head a little. “Hana dear, your mother is a breath of fresh air compared to the stuffy furs I normally deal with because of my children. It’s kind of nice to hear such honesty in what someone thinks… without the filter of being politically correct and polite.”\n\n“It’s the family that I grew up in. Open as can be. But still respectful in anything we did or do. So I’m sure that you all will fit in there…..hell there is one or two of them that will probably tell you to lighten the hell up.” Chou said smiling snickering a little as she leaned back and took a swig of her saki.\n\nLooking to his watch for a moment Zeus said, “okay , we kind of need to get done here and get back on the road. Our check in time is at seven pm, and I’d rather not be on the road after dark if possible today.”\n\n“Sounds good to me.” Chou said as she scooped up the little black folder that had the bill in it. “Just a sec and we will be good.” She said as she slipped in the money for the bill and closed it. “Ok…..lets go.” She said watching everyone scooting out of the booth.\n\n“Let’s go sweet lips,” Zeus said wrapping his arm around his lover’s waist and heading her towards the door. “So, ummm, did you and your mom decide if we were doing separate rooms or the three of us together along the way?”\n\n“She is doing the whole, rooms for the couples thing.” Hana said smiling and purring as she snuggled against her lover, as the two walked to the door with the rest of the family. \n\n“The other two parents in a room, the older two together, and then me in a room and then one for the other littler ones…..something like that.” Chou said as she walked up behind the two, the rest of the pony family behind her.\n\nOnce the families were back on the road the remainder of the days drive seemed to pass quickly. Zeus and Hana cheerfully discussing the plans the equine boy had for the home he and his mate would soon be making together. When they left the interstate in Topeka Seus quickly found their motel, stopping at the office door to let the older raccoon dog woman out before leading the way to the parking area to get his family parked and settled for the evening..\n\nSlipping ahead of the group, the mother dog went to the front desk and started getting the check in knocked out before turning and facing the group. “Ok.” She said holding out the key cards. “One for the other mom, dad and hugbug, Zeus and puppypants. One for Randy and Shannon.” She said as she gave out the keys.\n\n“Thank you Chou…” Tabitha said taking her youngest sons paw. “Alexander, let’s get the little one settled, then find a nice quiet place to relax a little before bed time.” Turning toward her oldest children the equine matriarch added, “I’m sure that with your younger brother right next door, you can keep an eye and ear on him until your father and I return.”\n\n“Come on puppy pants, ”Zeus said with a soft whiney, “let’s get you inside and see about a hot bath and some snuggles.”\n\n“That sounds like paradise.” Hana said smiling and licking her lips. “After being in a car all day I could use a good soak…..” She said snickering and pulling him close and whispering something in his ear.\n\n“You know, I can watch the little one.” Chou said turning to the other parents. “I’m sure he wouldn’t be any trouble at all.”\n\n“If you’re sure you don’t mind Chou,” Tabitha aid looking to her youngest child. “I’m sure he won’t be any trouble, otherwise he’ll find himself in a bad situation that he will not enjoy,” the mother horse said as a warning to her son to be on his best behavior.\n\n“I took care of that one for the longest.” The mother said motioning to her daughter before bending down and scooping the little pony up. “Wanna come hang out with aunti ChouChou?”\n\n“Huggies….” Brian churred, his long flowing tail swishing happily behind him as he hugged the puppy mother tightly.\n\n“Alright, I believe you’re in good paws with Miss Jin,” the young colts mother said with a little snicker. Turning to her mate she said, “come on hot stuff, moma gets a night out without worry.”\n\n“Come on cutie.” The mother said as she carried the little one off to her room, the others following them to the elevator, riding it up to one of the higher up floors.\n\n“Mom…..what rooms did you get us?” Hana asked looking up to the mother that had a cub in her arms.\n\n“Yes.” Was all that she said as the elevator dinged and the doors opened to show that they were on the suit floor. “That answer it for you?” She asked as they stepped off the elevator and started heading to their rooms.\n\n\n“Damn it mom.” Hana said shaking her head as Zeus and her stopped at their room. “See you crazy people in the morning.”\n\n“I’m, almost afraid to open this door with your mother booking the rooms,” Zeus said as he slide the keycard through the electronic lock. “But honestly just how bad could it b….” he said, words failing him as the door swung open, the large living room of the suite having a large, plush sofa sitting in the middle of the room, with a fireplace in front of it, TV mounted above that. A few chairs sitting at a table near the window with silken white drapes covering it.\n\n“Mom…..mom goes all out sometimes.” Hana said walking in and looking around. “But this takes the cake.” \n\n“Ummm…. wow,” the horse boy said following behind his lover. “This room…. damn this would be worth staying a few extra days in. Especially alone with my sexy little puppy.”\n\n“If this is the room that she got us, I’m almost worried to see the boat that she’s going to have us on…..I mean, I’m pretty sure that I know where we’re going to be staying…...never mind….that will take the cake when we get there.” She said trying to think like her mother. “Sometimes I don’t know about that woman.”\n\n“I don’t think I’ll ever figure her out even a little bit sweet cheeks,” Zeus said as he walked around the room. He stopped and stared wide eyed at sight before him when he glanced into the bathroom. “Hana… honey… you need to see this,” he said pointing at the room before him, not turning to look at his mate.\n\n“Yeah, I have given up trying to figure her out.” Hana said shaking her head a little. “Holy crap.” She said as she walked into the bedroom, and got a look at the bathroom. The bathroom was split off from the bedroom, separated by nothing more than a glass wall, the bathroom itself was state of the art, a large jacuzzi tub sitting in one corner of it, a shower head taking up the other one, with a granite counter taking up a spot along the wall.\n\n“Oh my…” the equine boy said, reaching over and taking his lover’s arm in his paw. “Sooo sexy puppy,” he said as he pulled her into his arms in front of him. “Any ideas about what you want to do to relax sexy legs?”\n\n“You said something about a bath?” Hana said smiling as she walked over to the glass door and opening it. “Or do you have a better idea?”\n\n\n“A bath sounds good… for starters,” the horse boy said as he began to tug his lover’s shirt up, his paws slipping underneath and slowly groping their way up her belly and chest. “If that’s the case,” the equine said grabbing the puppy girls tail and prying it from between his thighs again, “you must be ecstatic.  I don’t think your tail was wiggled so much since our first time.”

“Well yeah.”  She said, the tip of her tail still wiggling in her mate’s hand.  “I got the blessings to marry the best man ever…...and we’re off to a vacation that will lead to us getting married.”  Hana said smiling and licking her lips.

“I still can’t believe how well things went with my mom,” the palomino boy said reaching over, laying his lover’s tail in the seat beside. her. His paw came up under her muzzle, his thumb lovingly stroking her cheek. “Mom agreeing to anything was a shock, and going with us is a surprise I really didn’t expect.” Looking into the rearview mirror at his soon to be mother-in-law he said, “I’m a little worried though, with the way she and your mom hit it off when they met I almost expect something to go wrong.”

“That was a little odd…..but hey that’s better in my book.”  Hana said looking over to her lover.  “Oh, and don’t worry about it…..nothing bad is going to happen…….and if it does, me, you and our family will make it through and all.”

“I guess…” Zeus replied, his paw dropping to his lovers leg rubbing and squeezing it a little. “So, we have about… three more hours until we’re done with this leg of the trip. We’ll be stopping for the night in Topeka Kansas. I guess it’s best to hit the motel first and we can find out what’s close by to get something to eat before we get comfy.’

“Sounds good to me…..After the drive to get to Winter Creek and all…..I don’t like being in a car that much.”  Hana said smiling a little as she put her hand on her lover’s

“That’s why I set the trip up in short hops sweetie…” Zeus said rubbing his lover’s leg again. “I don’t like long trips.. dad always drove for hours before we would stop. It got really boring and the rest of the kids and I would end up in trouble because of it.” His paw sliding up her leg a little higher, teasingly close to the puppy girls groin he said, “when we get off the highway we’ll hit the closest gas station first and get that out of the way so we can get off to a good start tomorrow.”

“That sounds like me.”  Hana said with a little snicker.  “And well…..you know with your hand going where it’s going, you can’t blame me for being the distraction this time.”  Hana said looking over to her lover and poking her tongue out at him.  “You know, being in car with all the kids like that….I can see all the trouble happening.”

“Yes I can,” the equine boy said with a huge grin on his face. “If you weren’t so damn sexy I wouldn’t get distracted so easily. You and that fluff are going to get me into no end of trouble sweet lips.”

“Really…….I’m sure thats not going to be the only thing that does.”  She said as she leaned in.  “What about the fact that we don’t need to use condoms….”

The horse boys ears twitched excitedly, his entire body shuddering and the paw in his lover’s lap creeping a little higher as he tried to contain himself. “Don’t… don’t remind me….” he squeaked out in response. “Just thinking about what it will be like to really feel you around me like that….” As another shiver ran through the horse boy he added, “God sex with you is fantastic as it is. Without anything between us or anything….”

“Without anything between you….it’s going to be a messy affair.”  Chou said snickering a little as she looked up from her book.  “Make sure you have towles under you…..I don’t think that mom and dad want to have to wash your bed linens when they are like sheet rock.”

“Moooooooooom.”  Hana huffed out.  “Go back to reading…...and just who all have you told about this wedding back home?”

“Yes.”  Chou said as she went back to reading her book.

“Mom…..who?”  Hana asked again.

“What?  You told me to go back to my book.”  She said looking up again.

“Damn it mom.”  Hana said shaking her head.  “I’m just going to go with everyone.”

Snickering a little at his puppy lover Zeus chimed in, “so just how bad could it be if she told everyone like you think she did?” Glancing over to hr for a moment he said, “I mean are we talking twenty furs? Forty?”

“Closer to forty.”  Hana said shaking her head.  “These things are…….big to say the least.”

“Yes.”

“Closer to forty or more than forty?” Zeus asked glancing up to the rearview mirror again. “Just how big is big over there? I mean I know some weddings over here can be hundreds of people, but that’s usually people with a lot of money showing off and stuff.”

“Yeeeeeeeah…..try whole towns.”  Chou said snickering a little.  “But no I don’t think that it’s going to be a whole town…...maybe sixtyish people…..depends if Hana invites her old friends and all.”

“Ooooookay…” the equine boy said, trailing the word out as his eyes widened a bit. “So… ummmm, is there anything else I should know about weddings in Japan? Like… any weird or unusual customs or anything other than those.. kimbonno things you mentioned.”

“Kimono sweetie.”  Hana said smiling.  “And no…...not that I can think of.  I mean we aren't doing the whole dye me white thing, so we should be good…..just get used to a lof bowing and the like.”

“Kim-oh-no...kim-ohno...kimono, okay I think I  can maybe not mess that one up again,” the palomino said with a little snicker. “And I guess the bowing won’t be too bad. But I still don’t quite get the whole you beng white thing Hana. I mean you mean your arms and legs right?”

“The being white thing, being white shows to the gods that I am pure when I am given to you…..and no it’s not just arms, legs and face….it’s everything.”

Trying hard to contain the snicker that escaped his muzzle Zeus said, “okay… I can see why we’re not doing that. And all white? That’s… with your fluff you would end up looking like a scared to death cat, or a giant snowball.”

“I would think more of an angry snowman.”  Hana said poking her tongue out at her lover.  “You would have it easy…..just stand there and look good.”

Stretching out in the seat as best as he could, the front of his jeans clearly showing the cylindrical bulge of his stiffening prick as images of his lover stark white ran through his mind the equine asked, “so…. you and mama Chou keep talking about you and she being kind of traditional and all…” He trailed off for a few moments, seemingly considering his words carefully. “Just… how far does that go. There’s a guy, an exchange student in one of my classes.. his name is, and I hope I don’t mess this up, Kisuki.. he’s been kind of telling me about the history of Japan and things like that. I don’t understand some of it, but the way he talks about women being treated and all…”.

“What all has he been saying?”  Chou asked as she leaned in a little bit.  “I’m sure that it can be cleared up easily.”

“Well… the horse boy said glancing at the mirror again and seeing the odd look in Chou’s eyes. From the way he talks women are treated like they barely exist or like property of some kind. He said that getting married is considered their duty and something they have to do by a certain age or they are worthless. He kind of made it sound like the women are trained from an early age to be little more than servants to men… “

“That’s…...that’s well the old days and the old ways that have…..well died.”  Chou spoke sternly.  “Now, a marriage is a thing of equality and all that….none of that, you’re my wife, you’re nothing more than a thing to me mess……”  She said shaking her head a little.  “I’m glad that, that died a long time ago.”

“Good…” the horse boy said glancing to his lover. “There is no way in hell I could ever treat Hana like what he was saying men used to do. And to be honest I want her to be my partner, my equal, not act like a possession or anything like that.”

“And you are a very noble samaria and soon to be husband for it.  Things work better when both wheels are heading in the same direction.”  Chou said smiling.

“Mom…..you’re a dork.”  Hana said smiling and shaking her head.  “You and your sayings.”

“Maybe a little, but she makes a good point,” Zeus said nodding as if deciding on something. “Okay, I think I got this and understand what’s going to happen as far as the wedding and all. My family taking a vacation on such short notice is something that I can’t believe we talked them into so fast So, any big plans for while we’re in Japan or are we just winging it and bumming around or what?”

“Well there are a few festivals that I want to hit and take you and your family to.”  Chou said smiling and she leaned in close.  “Oh, and I’m taking your mom out to a saki bar.”  She said giggling.

“Zeus…..make sure your dad goes with them…..mom gets…...flirty when she is drunk.”  Hana said turning and looking to her mother.

“I do not…...I’m just more friendly.”  Chou said in her defense.

Cocking an eyebrow the horse boy said, “okay, I will… and hopefully my parents can behave themselves without us around to keep them straight. They don’t say anything about stuff from their past, but according to my aunts and uncles they were both a little… freaky when they were younger.”

“And that’s why mom and your mom get along, right there.”  Hana said smiling over at her mom.  “I know one thing…..I’m starting to get hungry.”

“You know…..you have a food sense Hana.”  Chou said smiling and looking out the window.  “Look.”  She said pointing to a building, the sign out front reading Tuptim Thai restaurant.

“Never tried anything like that,” the horse boy said moving over to the right lane of the highway. “But considering where we’re heading, no time like the present.”

“Don’t worry, I will help you pick out somethings that you will like.”  Hana said smiling as they pulled into the parking lot of the restaurant.  

“We will make sure that you don’t get anything that can kill you, like the blowfish.”  Chou said with a snicker.

“Ummmm, what?” the equine boy said pulling into an empty parking space, the other cars following along and parking nearby. “Should I be afraid for anyones safety here.”

“Not really…...the blowfish can kill you, only if the person that makes it doesn’t know what they are doing…..and I think that most places that serve it make the person go through a lot of training to even be able to handle it or something like that.”  Chou said as she got out of the car, stretching out as she watched the others getting out of the cars and coming over to them.

“Interesting choice of rest stop,” Tabitha said as she walked up to where  her son and the raccoon dog girl stood with her mother. “I get the feeling though that your girlfriend had more to do with the choice than you did… Mr. stick in the mud, ‘I only eat burgers when we eat out’.”

“Well mom and I.  We thought that it would be best to introduce you all to the local food a little at the time.”  Hana said smiling as she stood next to her lover, holding his hand.  

“And don’t worry, we will make sure that we get you things that you will like…..our food is good if just a little weird.”  Chou said smiling a little.  “And man, wasabi is good on everything.”

“Wasawhatsi?” the youngest of the equines said as the rest of the family joined them at the front door of the eatery.

“It’s a kind of spice…...but despite what mom will tell you, it’s going to be hot as hell.”  Hana said looking to the older raccoon dog.  “So…..don’t take her up on the wasabi bet…..:”

“Oh come on it’s tradition…...we have to welcome them to the family some how.”  Chou said smiling as they started heading into the building.  “And it’s not that hot…..it’s only hot if you’re a wuss.”

“It’s more about how much you use,”Alexander said as he followed the two older women into the building. “If you’re not used to it a little can be quite spicy, whereas if you consume it regularly then a larger quantity would have little effect.”

“She will try to get you to take like half a spoon full of it if she can…..she thinks that she’s slick.”  Hana said looking back to her mother.

“Hey…...That’s how I can tell if someone is a wuss.”  Chou said poking her tongue out.  The group walking into the building.

The inside of the building looked like a lot of modern restaurants, tables and booths scattered about with a buffet table running through part of it, in the back was a bar.  It did have western influences scattered around, but the big draw was the food and the sushi bar.  “How can I help you.”  A tall, female dumbo rat asked as she walked up to the group.

“We need a table for eight.”  Chou said smiling to the white and brown splotched rat.

“Follow me then.”  She said turning and starting to lead them off to a booth.  “So will you be ordering from the menu of from the buffet?”  She asked, stopping at a table, “here we are.”

“Buffet….”  Chou said as she slipped into one of the seats, sliding in and letting Hana and her lover slid in as the rest of the family did the same.

“Can I get your drink orders?”  The rat asked pulling out a little note pad and a pen.

“Green tea.”  Hana said smiling up to the waitress.

“Saki for me and her.”  Chou said pointing to the mother horse that was sitting with her.

“I’ll… have what she’s having,” Zeus said nodding towards his lover.

“Coke,” Randy said plainly, looking over to his youngest brother waiting for the boy to pay attention to the waitress.

“Oh, my turn I guess,” Brian the youngest equine said blushing sheepishly. “I’ll have a sprite… Please.”

“Ramune,” Shannon spoke up as she took a seat next to her father.

Looking to the spotted rat woman Alexander said, “I always mispronounce the name, but I believe it is known by Jade Dew as well?” he asked watching the servers eyes light up a little. “I see you understand what I’m asking for,” the older horse male said with a little grin.

Jotting down the orders as she was given them before putting the little notepad into her apron pocket.  “Ok, I will be back in just moment or two with your drinks.”  The happy rat girl said as she turned and started off to the kitchen.

“So, do we want to split up and some of go to the buffet while the other wait for the drinks?”  Hana asked looking around the table.

“A good idea,” Alexander said grinning at the puppy girl and his oldest son. “Why don’t the mother’s, Zeus and Hana and Shannon go ahead, the other boys and I will wait for our drinks before heading that way.”

“Works for me,” Zeus said rising to his hooves and taking his lover’s paw in his. “I’d much rather have someone go with me that has some idea of what the hell I’m putting on my plate.”

“Don’t worry, I’ll make sure that you don’t get the cat or anything like that.”  Hana said smiling and snickering a little.

“Why, this place looks like it knows how to cook a cat.”  Chou said, glancing around and smiling at the sight of some of the people in the building looking at her for the comment that she just made.

“Mom…..behave.”  Hana said taking her lover and leading him on.

“So Tabby.”  Chou said looking over to the other mother, “what kind of food do you like, lets see what we can find you that you might like.”

“Just about anything,” the mother equine said as they walked to the buffet table. “I haven’t tried a lot of seafood though, it’s not a fun place to take a bunch of screaming hungry kids. When they got older it was practics, recitals, concerts and the like and Alex and I never really had the time to go out much.”

“Well we will have to get you some sushi….if you don’t like the idea of raw fish, then I know a few good cooked dishes.”  She said leading the horse mother up to the sushi bar.  “The salmon roe is good.”  She said as she scooped up a few of the rolls and setting them her plate, along with a few other odd looking pieces of food.

“I’ll leave it to you Chou, I doubt you would steer me too far wrong,” she said watching the mother raccoon dog as she added little bits of different foods to both of their plates. “Honestly… this will be the first family vacation that doesn’t end at some fool amusement park of water park in years. I’m glad for the change of venue to be totally honest.” Looking over the wide selection of varied dishes she spied something that caught her attention. “What is that over there… on the little skewers…” she asked indicating the item she was speaking of.

“That.”  Chou said picking one up.  “It’s rat…..not really, it’s roasted beef.”  She said setting two of them on her plate.  “And as for the water parks and the like, we have them back home, but they are nothing like the ones that you have seen here.”  Chou said smiling as she went about loading up the plates with a selection of things that she thought that the mother horse would like.  “Well this looks like a good first round.”  She said as she started heading back to the table.

As he and Hana made selections from the offerings of the buffet he leaned over and whispered into her ear, “hmmm, maybe you’re heritage explains a few things. Like why I can’t seem to get enough of my sexy little puppy girl;friend. You must be like chinese food, all I can eat and an hour later I’m starving for more.”

“You’re a dork.”  Hana said smiling and shaking her head a little bit.  “And that’s Chinese…..you know that I’m Japanese right?”  She said looking up to him for a moment before poking her tongue out at him.

His muzzle very close to her ear, his breath tickling the short, soft fur as he said, “ohhh sooo solly me big stupid man, not know diffalance,” in a horridly bad imitation of an oriental accent, worse than most movies portray.

“Ok.  I thought that you couldn’t be more of a dork…..I think that changes the opinion on that.”  She said with a little snicker.  “But at least you’re a cute dork.”  She said standing on her tippy toes a little to plant a kiss on his cheek.

Grabbing his lover around the waist as she dropped to her foot-paws again and turned back to the buffet he began to rub her belly slowly. “So tell me sweet cakes, who has the better paws… me or moose face?”

“Moose face was, but you sure have been picking up on all the right spots…..I have to say that you have gotten better…..I mean….when you get to going….I swear that I’m going to just melt into you and your rubbing.”  Hana said blushing a little.

“I like the sound of that,” the horse boy said reaching for a potsticker as he turned his head a little and nipped the side of her neck playfully. “So what’s the story with this General Tso’s chicken or whatever it is thing.”

“What do you mean?”  Hana asked cocking her head to the side a little.  “It’s a pretty good meal.  It tastes as good as some of the stuff from back home….but not as good, then again, there is little that beat’s home cooking and all.”  Hana said smiling and licking her lips.  “There is going to be so much to show you when we get there, I think that might be a little case of culture shock happening at some point.”  She said pulling away from her lover and starting to lead him back to the table.

“As long as I have my little puppy to guide me… what could go wrong?” the equine boy asked as he was led back to their table.

“Alright boys, we’re up,” the father palomino said ushering the other males from their sats and off to the buffet as the others returned. “Don’t spend all day looking things over either Randy. If you’re not sure just get a little bit and try it, you can go back for more of the things you like.”

“Don’t worry, I’m sure they will find something that they all like.”  Hana said smiling as she watched the males starting to slide out of the booth and off to the buffet to find their food.  “It looks like mom helped you find some good things.”  Hana said looking over to the mother horse’s plate.  “Just remember what I said about the wasabi….”

“I will… though if any of this is as good as it looks, I don’t know why you would want to add anything to it,” Tabitha said grinning at her daughter-in-law to be. “But I think I will give it a try… when in Rome as they way.”

“Well I will tell you the wasbie makes a lot of things better….but just a little.”  Hana said smiling and picking up her chopsticks.  “I think that wasabi is best on the sushi…”

Randy sat in his seat as the rest of the palomino family rejoined them at the booth, the older of the two boys having made an unexpected stop along the way. Zeus nearly burst out laughing when the other male began to fluff open a large, black trash bag, tearing a hole in the closed end and pulling it over himself. Before anyone at the table could inquire about it the youngest of the Chamberlain children hopped up on the seat beside his older brother. taking his chopsticks in paw and trying his best. He only managed to succeed in flipping each bite of food he tried to pick up to the side, right on Randy and his makeshift poncho.

“Ummmmmm we do have some forks for the little ones.”  Chou said smiling and snickering a little bit at the sight.  “Most of the kids his age have little forks that they use.”  She said offering the littlest one a fork.  

“This happen a lot?”  Hana asked looking up to her mate, smiling and snickering a little bit.  

“Yes…” Randy responded before his other brother could utter a sound. “Ever since mom first had the idea of teaching him to use chopsticks to improve his hand eye co-ordination.” Picking up a piece of sushi with his own chopsticks and looking to his younger sibling the other male said, “like this, gently, not like you’re trying to steal a cookie from a feral.” Looking over at his brother Zeus and the puppy girl beside him he added, “not so bad when it’s just rice or dry cereal. But from the looks of this place… I figured I would be wearing at least part of whatever was on his plate.”
“Well try doing what I did for Zeus.”  Hana said smiling and snickering a little as she nudged her lover a little.  “Just take his hand and show him…..be his guide so to speak…..it took him a few tries, but soon he got it….and just look at him now.”  Hana said smiling as she scooped up one of the salmon rolls that she had gotten, happily eating it.

“Still not as good as my mate here,” the palomino boy said smiling and picking up the food from his plate and eating it easily. “But I’m getting there.” Cutting his eyes to his dad Zeus added, “but mama Chou has a point… you might want to give short stack a fork before he drowns poor Randy in food over there.”

“Yes, there will be lots of time for him to learn.”  Chou said smiling and snickering to herself.  “Sooooo Alexander…...do you like hot stuff?”

“Love it… just can't eat as much of it as I could get away with in my younger days,” the horse father said with a bit of a frown.

“No… you can not,” Tabitha said in a scolding tone. “I told you the last time, I don’t think I can take another scare like the last one.”

“What did he do?”  Chou asked tilting her head, thinking twice about trying to get him to eat the wasabi straight.  

“Let some damn fool talk him into a pepper challenge before he knew he had ulcer problems,” she said scowling at her mate harshly. “Scared the hell ut of me when I thought he was bleeding to death right before my eyes.”

“Yeeeeah…..then you will want to keep him away from the wasabi…..”  She paused a moment before looking at Shannon and Randy.  “What bout you two?  Up for a little challenge?”  She said starting to smile, Hana just face palming.

“I think I’ll pass Mrs. Chou, Shannon said shaking her head. “Never been a fan of having my face set on fire.”

“Whimps…” Randy said scowling at his family. “Okay you want a guinea pig from the family you got it… hit me with your best shot,” the palomino boy said leaning back in his sat, crossing his arms over the trash bag still covering him.

“Sounds like a bet to me.”  Chou said as she picked up two of the spoon that were on the table, getting a good blob of wasabi on both of them.  “You’re not going to be alone in it.”  She said handing him one of the spoons.  “On three.”  She said holding up her spoon and count up from one, on three she put the spoon in her muzzle, licking the spicy paste from it and gulping it down a moment later.  

When the raccoon dog woman counted three, Randy flicked out his tongue, scooping the spicy paste from the spoon and taking it into his muzzle. Before swallowing any of it he made sure to spread it all around his mouth smacking a little as he scrapped the last of it off his tongue and gulped it down.  After a few moments he brought one paw to his eyes, rubbing at the right one that seemed to be a little watery. “Not bad… nice and spicey but not blazing like peppers… more like an extra spicy horseradish.”  Picking up his glass and taking a tiny sip he looked over to their company and hostess for the meal. “I’ll have to remember about this stuff, use a little sense with it and even dad would like it.”

“That a boy.”  Chou said smiling to the horse boy.  “I see there is at least one non wuss in the group.”  She said with a snicker.  “But yes, used right it can bring out the flavor in many things.”

“So if everyone ready for the trip.”  Hana asked, pausing a moment.  “What kind of boat did you book for us?”  She looked up to her mother.  “And don’t give me that….yes...mess.”

“It’s a big boat….we will all have a room.”  The mother said rolling her eyes.  “You and your mate, then one for each of the other horses, and then the mom and dad in one, and me.”  She said turning and looking to her daughter.  “What did you think that I just booked a shrimp boat or something like that?”

“Knowing you…..anything can happen.”  Hana said smiling and shaking her head a little.

“Anyway.”  Chou said turning back to the group.  “Eat up, be happy…..it’s all on me tonight.”  She said holding up her little glass of sake.

“Agreed, I think this counts as the first of many meals in celebration of a happy union…” Alexander said with a broad smile on his face. “To my son, and his charming, lovely mate…”

“Indeed, to our son and the lovely young lady that is to be my daughter-in-law,” Tabitha said raising her glass to the other furs around the table. “May they be as happy as they are today for as long as they both can stand each other.”

“Thanks a lot mom,” Zeus said cocking an eyebrow at his mother.

“So….like for all the ever.”  Hana said with a little snicker as she held up her glass.  “And to new friends, family, and culture shock.”

“I don’t think that the shock is going to be that bad….though I’m sure mom there isn’t going to want the young ones drinking too much….seeing as you only have to be eighteen to enjoy fine saki.”  

“Ummm… what?” the older female equine said a little wide eyed at the news. “I think we better establish some ground rules right now… don’t you Alexander?”

“I would agree… especially since Randy is going with us…” the male horse said scowling at the eldest of his sons. “There will be no repeat of the toga party incident Randal, are we clear on that?”

“That was not my fault dad,” Randy said in his own defence. “I had no idea that there would be strippers show up when I agreed to go.”

“Horse shit,” Shannon blurted out, snorting madly and choking on her drink. “Then why did you call me and insist I bring your day pack, which i know is where your condom stash is, and that telescopic pole?”

“Oh my, sounds like something that I would pull in my younger days.”  Chou said smiling and snickering a little.  “Sooooo did you bring the telescopic pole?  I might show you a few things that will drive the girls…..boys…..whatever you like nuts.”

“Moooooooom.”  Hana huffed out.  “You see…..this is what I have to put up with…….so you still want my family mixing in with yours?”

“Like there is much of a choice?” Randy asked with a broad grin on his face. “I mean...you and horse lips are already doing the horizontal mambo… and it’s only a matter of time until he knocks you up… “

“That’s quite enough Rany,” Alexander said shaking his head a little. “Hana dear, your mother is a breath of fresh air compared to the stuffy furs I normally deal with because of my children. It’s kind of nice to hear such honesty in what someone thinks… without the filter of being politically correct and polite.”

“It’s the family that I grew up in.  Open as can be.  But still respectful in anything we did or do.  So I’m sure that you all will fit in there…..hell there is one or two of them that will probably tell you to lighten the hell up.”  Chou said smiling snickering a little as she leaned back and took a swig of her saki.

Looking to his watch for a moment Zeus said, “okay , we kind of need to get done here and get back on the road. Our check in time is at seven pm, and I’d rather not be on the road after dark if possible today.”

“Sounds good to me.”  Chou said as she scooped up the little black folder that had the bill in it.  “Just a sec and we will be good.”  She said as she slipped in the money for the bill and closed it.  “Ok…..lets go.”  She said watching everyone scooting out of the booth.

“Let’s go sweet lips,” Zeus said wrapping his arm around his lover’s waist and heading her towards the door. “So, ummm, did you and your mom decide if we were doing separate rooms or the three of us together along the way?”

“She is doing the whole, rooms for the couples thing.”  Hana said smiling and purring as she snuggled against her lover, as the two walked to the door with the rest of the family.  

“The other two parents in a room, the older two together, and then me in a  room and then one for the other littler ones…..something like that.”  Chou said as she walked up behind the two, the rest of the pony family behind her.

Once the families were back on the road the remainder of the days drive seemed to pass quickly. Zeus and Hana cheerfully discussing the plans the equine boy had for the home he and his mate would soon be making together. When they left the interstate in Topeka Seus quickly found their motel, stopping at the office door to let the older raccoon dog woman out before leading the way to the parking area to get his family parked and settled for the evening..

Slipping ahead of the group, the mother dog went to the front desk and started getting the check in knocked out before turning and facing the group.  “Ok.”  She said holding out the key cards.  “One for the other mom, dad and hugbug, Zeus and puppypants.  One for Randy and Shannon.”  She said as she gave out the keys.

“Thank you Chou…” Tabitha said taking her youngest sons paw. “Alexander, let’s get the little one settled, then find a nice quiet place to relax a little before bed time.” Turning toward her oldest children the equine matriarch added, “I’m sure that with your younger brother right next door, you can keep an eye and ear on him until your father and I return.”

“Come on puppy pants, ”Zeus said with a soft whiney, “let’s get you inside and see about a hot bath and some snuggles.”

“That sounds like paradise.”  Hana said smiling and licking her lips.  “After being in a car all day I could use a good soak…..”  She said snickering and pulling him close and whispering something in his ear.

“You know, I can watch the little one.”  Chou said turning to the other parents.  “I’m sure he wouldn’t be any trouble at all.”

“If you’re sure you don’t mind Chou,” Tabitha aid looking to her youngest child. “I’m sure he won’t be any trouble, otherwise he’ll find himself in a bad situation that he will not enjoy,” the mother horse said as a warning to her son to be on his best behavior.

“I took care of that one for the longest.”  The mother said motioning to her daughter before bending down and scooping the little pony up.  “Wanna come hang out with aunti ChouChou?”

“Huggies….” Brian churred, his long flowing tail swishing happily behind him as he hugged the puppy mother tightly.

“Alright, I believe you’re in good paws with Miss Jin,” the young colts mother said with a little snicker. Turning to her mate she said, “come on hot stuff, moma gets a night out without worry.”

“Come on cutie.”  The mother said as she carried the little one off to her room, the others following them to the elevator, riding it up to one of the higher up floors.

“Mom…..what rooms did you get us?”  Hana asked looking up to the mother that had a cub in her arms.

“Yes.”  Was all that she said as the elevator dinged and the doors opened to show that they were on the suit floor.  “That answer it for you?”  She asked as they stepped off the elevator and started heading to their rooms.


“Damn it mom.”  Hana said shaking her head as Zeus and her stopped at their room.  “See you crazy people in the morning.”

“I’m, almost afraid to open this door with your mother booking the rooms,” Zeus said as he slide the keycard through the electronic lock. “But honestly just how bad could it b….” he said, words failing him as the door swung open, the large living room of the suite having a large, plush sofa sitting in the middle of the room, with a fireplace in front of it, TV mounted above that.  A few chairs sitting at a table near the window with silken white drapes covering it.

“Mom…..mom goes all out sometimes.”  Hana said walking in and looking around.  “But this takes the cake.”  

“Ummm…. wow,” the horse boy said following behind his lover. “This room…. damn this would be worth staying a few extra days in. Especially alone with my sexy little puppy.”

“If this is the room that she got us, I’m almost worried to see the boat that she’s going to have us on…..I mean, I’m pretty sure that I know where we’re going to be staying…...never mind….that will take the cake when we get there.”  She said trying to think like her mother.  “Sometimes I don’t know about that woman.”

“I don’t think I’ll ever figure her out even a little bit sweet cheeks,” Zeus said as he walked around the room. He stopped and stared wide eyed at sight before him when he glanced into the bathroom. “Hana… honey… you need to see this,” he said pointing at the room before him, not turning to look at his mate.

“Yeah, I have given up trying to figure her out.”  Hana said shaking her head a little.  “Holy crap.”  She said as she walked into the bedroom, and got a look at the bathroom.  The bathroom was split off from the bedroom, separated by nothing more than a glass wall, the bathroom itself was state of the art, a large jacuzzi tub sitting in one corner of it, a shower head taking up the other one, with a granite counter taking up a spot along the wall.

“Oh my…” the equine boy said, reaching over and taking his lover’s arm in his paw. “Sooo sexy puppy,” he said as he pulled her into his arms in front of him. “Any ideas about what you want to do to relax sexy legs?”

“You said something about a bath?”  Hana said smiling as she walked over to the glass door and opening it.  “Or do you have a better idea?”


“A bath sounds good… for starters,” the horse boy said as he began to tug his lover’s shirt up, his paws slipping underneath and slowly groping their way up her belly and chest. As his fingers flicked, twirled and tugged on her rapidly stiffening nipples he whispered in her ear, “and we don’t need condoms right?”

“Not unless you want to have fun with them…..there might be a thing or two I can show you with them…..but other than that, I want to feel you deep in me.”  She said smiling and murring as her hands slid down his chest, making for his belt.

“Oh God,” the equine boy said shivering in his lovers paws a little. “Yes…” he said pulling her shirt up and over her head, leaving it draped on her arms as she unfastened his belt and made quick work of the button and zipper of his jeans. “And I want to feel just how warm and wet you are around me sexy legs,” he nearly moaned to her as his paws made short work of unfastening her shorts, hooking his thumbs in the waistband of them and her panties and pressing them down over her pert firm little backside.
