A paw darting out and slamming around on the desk by the bed seeking out the phone, before pulling it under the pillow that the paw’s owner’s head was hiding under.\n\n“He….hello.” Shanoa managed to mutter out.\n\n“Morning sweetie.” The voice came nice and cheery. “You were out drinking weren't you?” Anna asked with a little snicker.\n\n“Yes….I took the girls out to see what the nightlife and all that.” She muttered as she tossed the pillow off her head and rolled over. “Shouldn’t you be asleep or something like that?”\n\n“Prolly, but I just couldn’t turn up a chance to tell my wife how much I love her….and tease her a little.” The doe said, her voice softening a little.\n\n“You and your hangover sense.” The catwolf said laying there with her eyes closed. “Well...on an unrelated note to you tormenting your poor wife….I have our vacation planned.”\n\n“I told you...I’m not going to Japan...that’s a little far to fly.” She said, pausing a moment. “And how the hell did you do that?”\n\n“I was talking to the extended family and we got to talking about you and Curio...and it was brought up about visiting….and well….we will be going to Prairie Creek….or Winter Flats.” Shanoa said as she started sliding out of bed.\n\n“You need to get up and drink some water….cause I think that you goofed the names….” Anna said with a snicker.\n\n“I got something better than water.”\n\n“That doesn’t work, it’s all in your head.”\n\n“Well that still counts for something.”\n\n“So do I need to make the plans and all that?”\n\n“Na, I will handle that.” Shanoa said as she stretched a little, heading to the dresser. “We will plan everything when I get home.”\n\n“That works for me….” Anna paused for a moment. “You go get dressed and get things ready….I have somethings to look up.”\n\n“Love you babe.” Shanoa with a smile as she started digging through the dresser, finding something that would be nice to wear to the main house.\n\n“Love you….and Flapper said she love’s ya.” Anna said as the two hung up.\n\nOnce the catwolf had gotten mostly dressed and her hair at least brushed, she made her way to the main house and to the kitchen, thankfully for her, her mother and father were quiet most of the time. Staggering around the kitchen she started looking through cabinets.\n\n“Ugh, who was the asshole driving the bus that hit me,” Shannon muttered as she trudged into the unfamiliar kitchen. “Jesus tell me this place has coffee.”\n\n“Stop shouting,” her mother squeaked from behind the younger equine female. “Quietly, very quietly see if you can help me find a coffee maker.”\n\n“Wusses.” Chou muttered from the table. “There’s a pot brewing now.”\n\n“You’re all wusses.” Shanoa said softly, setting out a glass. “I have something better than coffee.” She said as she opened one of the cabinets, a bottle of tabasco and worcestershire sauce. “Might be gross...but it works.” She said as she got an egg out of the fridge, cracked it and dropped the yolk into the glass, pouring in a little worcestershire sauce and a few dashes of tabasco, and then some salt and pepper.\n\n“God Shanoa you’re so gross.” Chou said shaking her head.\n\n“Little long muzzle might need one of those,” the older horse woman said with a little chuckle. “Coffee will be fine for me. Not as much of a panty waste as my daughter is.”\n\n“Errg,” the younger woman responded. “Trying for a repeat of last night’s sneak peak at dinner? Jesus Christ mom, that shit stinks from over here.”\n\n“Lightweight.” Shanoa said as she picked up the glass. “This will cure a hangover like it was never there.” She said taking a breath before knocking back the concoction like a shot. “Gooooood that’s nasty.” She said with a little shiver before putting the glass in the sink and going to the fridge for a bottle of tea.\n\n“Like I said….you are gross.” Chou said shaking her head. “And if ya barf…..do it like outside or something….I’m like right there….and I couldn’t handle that.”\n\n“No… just, hurk”, Shannon squeaked out as she turned and bolted for the bathroom down the hall.\n\n“Hold it till you’re at the altar girl,” Tabitha said turning and heading ti the counter where the coffee pot stood. \n\n“Sheesh sis, run me over,” a male voice called from the hallway. “Man am I glad I got the room first, she looks like it’ll need a major clean up when she gets done.”\n\n“Little loud there.” Shanoa said, glaring at the source of the voice with bloodshot eyes. “There are some of us that have hangovers.”\n\n“Yeah…..count yourself lucky that you didn’t come with us.” Chou said shaking her head as she got up to go for the coffee pot.\n\n“Like my little fluffball would let me go anywhere with you lot,” Zeus said walking into the kitchen, his soon to be bride right behind him, the pair wrapped up in thick terrycloth robes. “Nope, not starting this marriage out with my furry rump in line for an ass kicking. Well not another one anyway.”\n\n“Wuss…..ya gotta live a little and all that.” Shanoa said as she sat down at the table. “And hey….the only thing that went wrong….the light weights tried to keep up with me.”\n\n“And you were the one that said something along the lines of.” Chou said as she turned and went back to the table, a cup of black coffee in her paw. “Hey lets do some shots….I think that you might have said something about body shots too.”\n\n“Mom….you let her talk you into taking shots…..I thought you learned after christmas the other year.” Hana said shaking her head a little as she went over to the fridge, grabbing a bottle of tea for her and her soon to be husband.\n\n“She didn’t.” Shanoa said smiling and snickering, “The student will never overthrow the teacher or something like that.”\n\n“Bite me.”\n\n“Really? I thought the bartender nibbling on your ear for half an hour would have been enough for you,” Tabitha said taking her steaming cup to the table. \n\n“Well, glad you all had a good time just the same. Come on sweet lips, I believe I hear the hot springs calling us,” the equine boy said wrapping an arm around his lover's shoulders. Pulling her close he whispered, “now if I can just keep my paws to myself.”\n\n“Well…..I’m sure that paws are going to wonder…..” Hana said with a snicker. “And I know….we won't get naughty…..or...too naughty.” She said snickering a little as they made their way past the hungover group.\n\n“Hey….That was just like friendly nibbles or something…..” Shanoa said shaking her head. “I’m married….I was a good wife and all that.” She said looking at her ring. “I wonder if I could have talked Anna into a threesome.” She muttered.\n\n“If you say so Shanona…” Zeus said letting out a soft whiney. “Anyway, come one fluffy butt, cuddles in a hot springs sounds pretty nice. Not any close to home so we may as well enjoy it while we can.”\n\n“I didn’t bring them home with me or anything like that….I didn’t even kiss them….I’m still a good wife right?” She paused a moment. “Oh and I told Anna about coming to visit for christmas and all that….she is good with a little vacation….I think that she is planning something, knowing that sneaky thing.”\n\n“Not my circus, not my monkey,” Tabitha said with a snicker. “Now you two don’t go getting too frisky in public. Wouldn’t want you embarrassing yourselves in front of family after all.”\n\n“I don’t think that we have to worry about that.” Chou said, starting to perk up a little. “And Shanoa, you kinda goofed, but in the end, you didn’t cheat...so you're good….I think.”\n\n“You know….lesser long muzzle has been in the bathroom for a while….do I need to go get the emergency kit?” Shanoa asked looking up from her tea bottle.\n\n“Give her another few minutes, then we’ll go rescue her if we need to,” the mother palomino said more seriously. She’s mostly a good girl, not much for sneaking around and drinking like some of her friends. She should be fine, and we’ll check on her in a few anyway.”\n\n“Heh, so she is the opposite of Shanoa.” Chou said with a little giggle. “That one was almost always in some kind of trouble….sneaking out...cutting classes and things like that.”\n\n“And I passed school and all that...and have how many degrees.” Shanoa said poking her tongue out. “The whole reason that I was like that when I was that age….was boredom. And I like to think that I have settled down now that I have a kid and a wife.” She said smiling.\n\n“Last time you bragged, I think that you have like three of them.” Chou said rolling her eyes. “Something in Genetics, something for the ER, and I forget the other one.”\n\n“Something like that.” The catwolf said. “So momma long muzzle….the wedding is in just like a day…..ya stressed?.....need more booze?” Shanoa said snickering a little.\n\n“If you had asked me that a few days ago … I would have been all over the more to drink,” the mother equine said shrugging a little. “But seeing the way that pair are, I have no worries about them, they go this. Besides, as much as I love my son, it’ll be kind of nice having one less muzzle yammering around the house.”\n\n“Little more peace and all that.” Shanoa said smiling. “Well...I’m sure that me, you, Anna, and Chou can find a nice spa to go to or something.”\n\n“This time….slightly less booze.” Chou said shaking her head a little.\n\n“Morning ladies.” A male voice spoke up, “looks like you let Cottenball take you out drinking.” Ren said with a snicker of his own as he stood at the coffee pot.\n\n“Morning Ren,” Tabitha chirped, a snicker in her voice, “hope we didn’t wake up the entire household last night.”\n\n“You didn’t wake me or Izumi, then again we sleep like rocks.” the wolf said as he sat down at the table. “And Takayama was probably awake anyway, poor boy never sleeps….and Mae wouldn’t have heard you to start with.” He said sitting down and sipping at his coffee.\n\n“Well good to know, especially with how loud these dorks were when we got home,” the younger equine female said. “”Can’t believe how loud you three were trying to get you to your rooms, sheesh.”\n\n“Like you were any quieter clomping around like you were having a seizure?” Tabitha asked cocking an eyebrow at her daughter.\n\n“Hey I was mostly quiet.” Shanoa said with a little huff. \n\n“Until you started barking orders at the door that you couldn’t open.” Chou giggled\n\n“Hey it listened….and hey….you feeling better there little long muzzle…..you ready for that prairie oyster?” Shanoa asked, smiling to the younger horse.\n\n“For the what now?” Shannon asked looking at the catwolf cluelessly.\n\n“That gross concoction that she mixes up thinking that it helps with a hangover.” Ren said rolling his eyes.\n\n“I don’t know, I think that it works.” Another male voice spoke up as an erming walked into the room, spots of his fur already starting to change for the coming winter.\n\n“See it works.” Shanoa said smiling, “everyone this is our step brother Takayama.”\n\n“It nice to meet you all. You can call me Taka for short.” He said as he slipped over to the coffee pot. “I take it mom is making breakfast.”\n\n“You know that she is.” Ren said from the table, “it should be done in a few.”\n\n“So how come we’re just meeting Taka now… and are there any other cute members of the family we should know about?” Shannon asked \n\n“Sorry sweetie. He’s taken.” A female voice said as she walked into the room. “That….and I think you're a little young for him...though there are some other cuties that you will meet.”\n\n“Morning Mae.” Chou said smiling.\n\n“Yeah….guys….this is our sister, Mae….she’s the reason that I know sign language.” Shanoa said looking back to her sister.\n\n“Yes...and now that you have a kid, you’re glad you know it.” Mea said, sitting a tablet on the table before joining the group.\n\n“Maybe you should just wait for breakfast sweetie,” Tabitha said looking and grinning at her daughter. “I think you’ve shoved that hoof far enough in your muzzle for one day already.”\n\n“Hehe. Don’t worry.” Mea spoke up, snickering a little. “Chou was kinda the same way…..I would steal someone that she was flirting with, and then she would do it to me.”\n\n“Yeah, you owe me.” Chou said shaking her head a little. “I saved you from a dick.” She said shivering.\n\n“Yeah…...he’ll get his.” Shanoa said smiling.\n\n“Breakfast is ready.” Izumi’s voice called out as she walked through the door from the kitchen, a young boy about Brain’s age, and an older male following her with plates, starting to set them out on the table for the guests.\n\n“This looks wonderful,” Tabitha said taking a seat next to her daughter. “Should we call Zeus and Hana is or not?”\n\n“I'll go get them.” Chou said smiling as she got up, bowing a little before slipping off to collect the others.\n\n“Everyone...this is the rest of the close family...well save for one more…” Shanoa paused a moment. \n\n“She’s on her way, she is a little late….flight got delayed.” Izumi said with a smile.\n\n“Well….anyway, shorty there is Kita,” she said motioning to the small, ermine boy. “Boy he really takes after you Taka.” \n\n“And I’m Tatsuya.” The older male said, it was clear that he got his genes from his mother and father fairly evenly. Looking like a long cat in a way, his fur already white for the winter that wasn’t there yet.\n\n“We have one more that you will meet when she rolls in.” Shanoa said turning back to the table.\n\n“Well I found a soggy pair.” Chou said as she walked back into the dining room, Hana and her mate following right behind her.\n\n“What can I say, the springs does wonders for your fur.” The younger fluffdog said as she sat down.\n\n“Fur, muscles, stress, tension…” the horse boy chimed in as he sat next to his mate. “Okay, a few new faces this morning, hello to everyone that I haven’t met yet.”\n\n“You must be the soon to be son in law.” The female feline said smiling. “I’m Mea, this is my husband Takayama.” She said motioning to the ermine beside her.\n\n“The little one there is Kita, and the older one is Tatsuya, our kids.” Takayama said as he motioned to the others.\n\n“We have one more that you will meet later…..she’s...late like always.” Shanoa said smiling.\n\n“Shall we dig in….I think that we have embarrassing stories to tell and all that.” Ren said with a snicker as he eyed his soon to be relative and granddaughter.\n\n“Um….aren't we missing some people?’ Mea asked, glancing around the table.\n\n“Only two at the moment I’m afraid,” an older male’s voice called out as he and a younger horse boy entered the dining room. “Randy and May slipped out early this morning, something about watching the sunrise before breakfast with her family or some such thing.”\n\n“HI!” the younger horse boy called out as soon as his father fell silent. “I’m Brian and this is my daddy,” he piped up with a huge smile on his face.\n\n“Alexander,” the older male said bowing to the seated family gathered around the table.\n\n“You know, I think that we need name tags or something.” Shanoa said shaking her head a little. “You two, this is,” she said as she started pointing to each of the group. “Takayama, Mea, Kita, and Tatsuya.” The catwolf took a deep breath, “and there is one more that you will meet later, when her flight gets here.”\n\n“That reminds me….I need to have a driver go wait for her.” Izumi said scribbling something down on a scrap of paper.\n\n“Where the hell did she poof off to this time?’ Shanoa cocked her eyebrow a little as she started helping passing out the food. “I thought that she was in the states the last time I heard.”\n\n“She was for a little bit, but then she slipped off to Ireland or something like that.” Ren said with a little shrug.\n\n“I need a job like that.” Shanoa shook her head as she sat back down.\n\n“I don’t like flying that much...then again...my roots are too set here in the states.” Chou said as she started eating.\n\n“And to think that, she gets to do all of this flying around and all that because she can point a camera.” Shanoa said rolling her eyes.\n\n“The only of our kids that's more free spirited than Shanoa and was in less trouble.” Izumi said with a little snicker.\n\n“Gee mom…..and she got into a lot of things that you two didn’t know about….she just was better at not getting caught.” Shanoa said in her defense.\n\n“And you should have learned from her.” Taka said with a snicker.\n\n“You’re not helping sweetie.” Mea said rolling her eyes.\n\n“Soooo, you're going to marry cousin, aren't you a little old for her or something?” Tatsuya spoke up, glancing over to the horse boy.\n\n“Maybe a little, as far as the laws of Colorado are concerned. But not by much really, besides it’s kind of her fault. She’s the one that insisted I become her samurai after kicking my ass,” the palomino boy replied leaning over and kissing his lover on the cheek.\n\nSnickering a little as she felt her lover’s lips on her cheek. “And boy did mom run with it.” Hana giggled.\n\n“That’s cause mom’s know best, isn’t that right Tabby.” Chou said smiling.\n\n“I think that my motherly instinct is a little off then….that or I’m way to protective.” Shanoa said pausing for a moment. “I might have to kill someone if they got to close to Curio and hurt her feelings.”\n\n“Well you are kinda weird.” Chou said, shooting her a glance.\n\n“Still weird to think that you have a kid.” Mea said cutting her sister a glance.\n\n“Jeez is it that weird that I can be a mom….I mean is there something that I should know?” Shanoa said with a little huff.\n\n“Well kinda.”\n\n“Yes it’s weird.” Izumi spoke up. “I mean I love you and all, but you are my kid, so I need to be blunt with you.” The elder feline said taking a deep breath. “I didn’t think that you would be settling down to have a family and all of that until you were my age…..and even then I didn’t think that you would have a kid, I kind of thought that you would have a mate at the most….work, get a nice house and all that then retire….or something like that.”\n\n“Well…...things change…..I blame a doe for softening me up...and then saving a kid from the…..circumstances that she was in.” The hybrid said smiling and taking a sip of her tea.\n\n“Of all the things.” Takayama said snickering. “I thought that it would have been you getting hurt or something doing something dumb.”\n\n“Yea……” Shanoa said reaching up to rub at her arm where the scar was. “I’m still taking us skydiving.” She said pausing a moment, “you know I need to take all of us.” She said smiling.\n\n\n“NO!” Tabbitha blurted out before anyone could stop her. “I avoided getting on a plane to see my son married, no way in hell am I even remotely going to jump out of one.”\n\n“I still don’t think that Shanoa would jump out of one.” Takayama said shaking his head. “So I don’t think that I would have to worry about it.”\n\n“You know…..there is that indoor place.” The catwolf said smiling from ear to ear. “Would that be a little better for you momma long muzzle?” She asked doing her best to not laugh.\n\n“Shanoa….be nice.” Hana said shaking her head. “We don’t want to kill the family yet….intentionally or otherwise…..”\n\n“That sounds kind of cool,” Zeus said turning to his soon to be bride and wiggling his eyebrows a little. “Wonder how much… brushing it would take for your fur after something like that?”\n\n“Never tried that, I’d give it a go,” Shannon piped up with a smirk and a knowing glance at her mother. “That is if mom goes.”\n\n“That, you might have a chance of getting me to do. Skydiving has always sounded like fun, but it’s the being in and jumping out of a plane that squicks me out in a heartbeat,” the palomino mother said.\n\n“Well I kinda hate to pop your bubble there….but the most that you would be brushing is her tail.” Shanoa paused a moment. “Skin tight suits.”\n\n“Well…..what do you say…..we have the catoriors and all that working here….you lot can go do something fun…..it will be our treat.” Ren said smiling. “A little extra gift.”\n\n“Yea, take me so I can fly daddy,” the youngest equine boy said excitedly.\n\n“Sounds like the kids are up for it, what do you say sweetie?” Alexander asked his wife, the older female horse looking around the table. With a little sigh she said, “okay, looks like I’m out numbered. One rule though, you lot are cleaning it up if I get air sick… in air.”\n\n“I’m sure that they have a really big hose or something that they can use.” Shanoa with a snicker. “I’m also sure that we don’t want to do it after breakfast.”\n\n“We should wait…..wait till Hibi gets here…..scare the hell out of that poor girl too.” Chou said with a snicker of her own.\n\n“Sounds like an adventure to me.” Mea said smiling and taking her lover’s hand. “You’re not afraid of the heights are you?”\n\n“Well it’s not so much the being up that high…..it’s the falling part for me.” Takayama said shaking his head, “But I think that I can handle a little indoor jumping and all.”\n\n“Sounds like after breakfast my bunch should get changed and ready then,” the father horse said with a little chuckle. “To think that this is the day for the Chamberlin family that horses really do fly.”\n\n“Well then. We have our plans for today.” Shanoa said snickering.\n\nWhen horses fly?\n\n“Well this is going to be fun…..and something to tell the grandkids.” Chou said shaking her head a little as the group looked around the lobby.\n\n“Yes, I called ahead about the group, there will be fifteen of us…..we are waiting on two more.” Ren said smiling to the person behind the counter. “We are going to need a lot of copies of the tape.”\n\n“Ok. It looks like everything is good to go...you will be in bay four at the end of hall….the changing rooms are in the back of the bay.” The worker said with a smile, “there will be someone there to teach if need and all.” \n\n“You’re not going to get me into anything like that.” A female voice rang out.\n\n“Oh come on ya wuss.” Shanoa’s voice rang out in retaliation. “You’re in a plane all the time, don’t you think that you should know what it’s like to fall out of one?”\n\n“Bite me…..I will take pictures and all that, but other than that, you are not going to get me in one.” The voice spoke again, as the owner of it noticed all the people. “Shanoa, i know that you want me to do something wild like you...but you’re going to need more people than this.”\n\n“Wuss.” Shanoa said as she kept pulling at the shiba inu. “Introductions in the hanger.”\n\n“Jezze Shanoa…..a little to the point and pushy don’t you think?” Takayama spoke up as they all started heading back.\n\n“Hey, momma long muzzle is going to do it….flower power here can too.” She said snickering.\n\n“Love you too sis.” The other dog said as they got to the hanger. In the large room, there was a large safety glass tube with a fan set in the floor under grating, chairs sitting around it and even a camera set up.\n\n“Wow…..they go all out here.” Chou said as she glanced around the room.\n\n“Well i should introduce you all. This is, Hibiscus…..flower power...this is Zeus, Tabby, Alexander, Shannon, Brain, Randy, and May.” She said pointing to the different members.\n\n“Hello everyone….I don’t know what Shanoa has told you…..but I’m sure that I can pay you more than she is to not get me into this thing.” The shiba said looking at the group.\n\n“I told them that you’re some kind of little wuss or something like that.” Shanoa said with a little snicker. “We all managed to talk the horse mom into it, so why not you?”\n\n“I spend enough time in planes I don’t want to think about what it would be like to end up jumping out of one.” Hibi said shaking her head a little.\n\n“Come on ladies….we can keep the pissing contest in the changing room.” Chou said with a little snicker as she started leading the group off to the changing room.\n\n“As long as it stayts there and not running down someone’s leg once we’re in that thing,” the younger equine female said nodding towards the big glass tube. “That’s that last place I can think of I ever would want anything wet hitting me in the face.”\n\n“That’s why you pee before hand.” May said with a little snicker. “And weren't you the one that was saying something about barfing….do we need to send you in with one of the little bags that they have on the air planes?”\n\n“I don’t know, I think that she can handle it….” Shanoa said smiling. “The one that would pee himself would be curly butt.” She said pointing to Hibiscus.\n\n“Gee….thanks for the vote of confidence.” She said shaking her head a little. “We aren't taking bets on anything….I know how you work…..” She said eye Shanoa.\n\n“Not my fault that you lost…..and didn’t pay attention to what I said the prize was.” The hybrid said smiling as she slipped into the changing stall.\n\n“That doesn’t sound like a good idea,”Tabitha said looking over the bundle of clothing in her arms. “I get the distinct feeling that not knowing EXACTLY what the terms of a bet is with Shanoa could come back to bite you in the ass.”\n\n“Hey, I told her what the terms and all that were…..but she wasn’t listening….I will get things in writing and all that.” Shanoa said shaking her head a little.\n\n“I still wouldn’t trust you….” Hibi said peering at Shanoa. “You would use all that jargon to get a loophole in there or something.\n\n“You say that shit like I’m a lawyer or something….I’m a doctor...or a geneticist….or something.” The hybrid said as she stepped out of the changing stall. “I think I need something like this at home.” She said looking herself over in the mirror. “Mmmmmh sleek.”\n\n“Shanoa….you are a little too vain.” Chou said as she stepped out. “Ok….these suits do make you look sleek.” She said looking at the mirror. “The rest of you ready?”\n\n“If I have to.” Hibiscus said stepping out of the stall. “This is going to be a hell of a time….Wonder who is going to be the first to lose their voice from screaming.”\n\n“It’s going to be momma long muzzle.” Shanoa said snickering.\n\n“Na...I think that it’s going to be Shanoa.” Chou said giggle.\n\n“So why the hell does this thing make me look like a damn sugar glider?” Shannon asked with a frown as she stepped from the changing room.\n\n“Because with the way we’re built we need the extra surface area on the suits for stability,” Zeus answered as he and Hana stepped from their changing room as well.\n\n\n“You will be the horse in the night…..bat horse.” Shanoa said with a laugh. “And yes….you equines…..are rather interesting in the way that you’re built….kinda compact and all, but still so much muscle.”\n\n“Nananananananananana Bat horse.” Chou giggled out as she walked past.\n\nRolling her eyes at the adults antics the older equine girl turned to her brother and asked, “ you just making that shit up or you for real?”\n\n“Just telling you what the guy at the counter told me when I asked about the difference. He said it had to do with our build and that the equine suits were extra snug and stretchy in certain areas.”\n\n“I can think of a few spots on Zeus that would need the extra stretch.” Hana said with a little giggle, before leaning up and whispering something surely naughty in his ear.\n\nBlushing a bit the palomino boy wrapped his lover in his arms, lifting her off the floor and carrying her as he said half quietly,”keep talking like that and we’ll see just how stretchy this suit is sweet lips.”\n\n“I think that we might have to test that out sometime.” She said with a little giggle.\n\n“Jeez….save it for the honeymoon or something.” Shanoa said walking up and sitting down at one of the cushioned chairs. “So who is going to be the first screamer in here?” \n\n“That isn’t likely to be any wilder than things have been up till now,” Zeus said walking towards the open doorway of the flight chamber. “What do ya say sweet cheeks? You and me up first, see how big of a pair of nerds we can make ourselves look like?”\n\n“Well…..I guess someone should show them how to do it.” Hana said smiling and kissing her soon to be husband before tugging him in. “Ok.” She said holding his hand.\n\n“Once the fan spins up and I give you the wave, you start leaning forward.” The wolf instructor said as he stepped into the door of the chamber, I will be right here if something happens.” He said stepping out and closing the door.\n\nWithin a moment or two of him shutting the door, the fan under them started speeding up, blowing air up past them. It took just another moment or two before the instructor waved to the pair in there. Hana said something but the words were lost on the fan, she started leaning forward before she was starting to fly….or in this cause simulated fall.\n\nShaking his head slightly as his lovers lost comment Zeus grinned slightly as she leaned into the uprush of air, the force of it suspending her and lifting her a bit. He reached out and grabbed her ankle as he walked towards the center of the floor. It was a little difficult to keep himself from joining her in the air, a feat partially accomplished because the instructor had kept the speed of the fan just below the threshold of lifting him from his hooves. With a single movement he pulled her back towards him, turning her as he did so and grabbing her by both paws as the instructor cranked the fans speed up another notch.. The increased wind speed caused Hana to end up with her foot paws pointing to the ceiling of the confined space leaving her looking down into her mate’s eyes. Pulling her down, pressing his muzzle to hers for a moment he winked then pulled her closer. he said, “make yourself as skinny as you can sweet cheeks,” as he worked on turning her around as she pulled her arms and legs in tighter together. As they drew closer he wrapped one arm around her waist and pulled her in close. “Let’s see if we can use some of that Tai-chi your mom has been trying to teach me sweet cheeks,” he said to her as he nodded then leaned them both backwards as the fan sped up drastically.\n\nNodding and smiling as she did as she was told, pulling herself close to her lover and making herself as skinny as she could, which for someone as fluffy as her wasn’t all that easy. She relaxed as she let her mate hold her close, blushing and wondering just what the horse was up to.\n\n“They know not to like….get it on in there right?” Shanoa muttered. “But man those two are…..limber….”\n\n“I think that they are pretty graceful for their first time in there.” The instructor said watching the two.\n\n“I wonder if there is money to be made in synchronized falling.” Shanoa said with a little giggle.\n\n“No.” was all that Chou said.\n\nZeus and Hana executed a few more slow, perfectly timed flips and dives in the chamber before the palomino took his bride to be’s paws in his again and pulled her close. He turned to nod at the instructor and the guy at the control panel then set them into a slow spiral as the rush of the air past them began to slow enough to let them touch down light as feathers again.\n\nThe raccoon dog managed to sneak in a little kiss before the two were on the ground, smiling to her lover, “I love you….you romantic devil you.” She said getting up with Zeus. “Oh god when I get home….we are going to have to break out the peanut butter.”\n\n“So how was it?” Chou asked as they were brought out of the chamber. “like being a flying fluff?”\n\n“It’s…..it’s hard to explain.” Hana said taking a deep breath. “I mean...you will get to find out.” She said smiling.\n\n“Yea it is, but it’s kind of neat to be able to concentrate on what you’re doing without thinking about the ground rushing up at you like it is intent on killing you or something,” Zeus said stopping suddenly and going a little pale. “Sorry, probably should have left that part out,” he muttered with his head lowered a bit.\n\n“So momma Long muzzle…..you ready?” Shanoa said smiling and poking her tongue out a little.\n\n“As ready as I think I’m going to get,” the equine woman responded getting to her hooves and pulling her goggles down into place. “Just don’t expect a lot of acrobatics from this old mare. I’ll be doing good to not get stuck on the wall or something.”\n\n“Come on mom, if the gym class reject over there,” shannon said nodding towards her brother, “can do that shit he was doing you’ll do fine.”\n\n“Do a flip or something.” Shanoa said smiling and snickering a little. “You look like you were a cheerleader or something back in school…..show these youngin’s a thing or three.”\n\n“You know….I want to see you do some of these flips and shit.” Chou said shaking her head a little.\n\n“I don’t know I want to see her get in there and not lose her shit…..I have a feeling that Shanoa is going to be the one that loses it……” Hibiscus said smiling and glancing to the catwolf.\n\n“Well, not sure I can be as smooth as my son, but I’ll do my best not to lose you to the wind honey,” Alexander said getting to his hooves and taking his wife by the paw.\n\n“Come on mommy and daddy, let’s go play,” Brian said hopping up from his seat and bolting into the chamber, diving head first into the steady stream of air as it lifted him nearly to the ceiling.\n\n“Ok….there is something strangely cute about a little long muzzle flying like that.” Shanoa said smiling at the sight of Brain flying around. “I need to get Anna and Curio to do this too.”\n\n“When did you get a wife…..and a kid….I thought that your insides were broken or something.” Hibi said cocking her head to the side a little as she looked at the hybrid.\n\n“Yes.” Was all that Shanoa replied with.\n\nAfter a scant few minutes had passed the operator chuckled as the sound of rushing wind grew less. “Looks like this will be the first part of the group that needs a little help getting things figured out.”\n\n“Well, it’s not like equines, and my family in particular, are well known for our aerial feats,” Randy piped up with a giggle.\n\n“It's all in the wiggle.” The merret girl said smiling and snickering a little. “And I’m sure that you have been around me long enough to have picked up a few tricks.” She said taking Randy’s hand and started tugging him in with her.\n\n“You know….there is a sex reference in here somewhere.” Shanoa said with a little snicker. “Skydiving is a lot like your first time in bed….you don’t know what you're doing….but you just go with what feels right.”\n\n“Something like that,” Zeus muttered into his lover’s neck.\n\n“Well….I know what you did, sure felt right.” Hana said with a little blush. “My silver tongue stallion.”\n\n“Hmmm silver tongued stallion… I kind of like the sound of that as a nickname,” the equine boy said before kissing the raccoon dog girl’s cheek. “Maybe even change my user name in games to that one.”\n\n“What?”, his older brother chimed in. “Don’t tell me you’re getting tired of that horrible name you dreamed up. I thought you’d never get sick of ‘The Prancing Stallion’”.\n\n“Still think that one sounds kind of gay as hell,” Shannon added.\n\n“That’s putting it...lightly.” Shanoa said shaking her head a little. “I thought that I seen some bad names with some of the people that I run with….namely that norn tempest and charr reaper….”\n\n“That name is….kinda fancy…..” Hana said with a little giggle. “I need to come up with a name to use.”\n\n“I don’t know,” the palomino said hugging his mate tighter and nuzzling against her neck. “I think Domino fits you even as a game handle.”\n\n“Domino…..you mean Dynamo?” Hana said with a little giggle. “Fluffy Dynamo.” She said smiling and looking up to her lover. “Something like that.”\n\n“Fluffy is putting it lightly.” Shanoa said with a snicker. “Chou….you did let him know that she will be….fluffing up…..”\n\n“No….It happens to us every year, I kinda forget about it.” The mother dog said shaking her head a little.\n\n“Get a good fur catcher for the shower.” Shanoa said shaking her head a little. “And...I'm going to tell you….things are going to get a lot….warmer in bed for you two.”\n\n“That could be handy, what with living up in the mountains and all that,” Zeus said as he watched the other members of his family fly around the enclosed space. “Though so far Hana seems to like being away from pretty much everything and everyone once we get home after school. You know I wonder what my idiot friends think about us just up and disappearing like we did.”\n\n“I don’t know….but it’s going to be a hell of a reaction when you two get back and find out that….well you two are hitched.” Chou said smiling. “My little is growing up.” \n\n“You know there is going to be the one or two of them that will give you shit for it…..something along the lines of you just faking it or something knowing your history.” Shanoa said shaking her head a little. “But...they will see that it’s real and all….or I will I have to come up here and teach the little shits a thing or three.”\n\n“Yup, Shanoa is still insane.” Hibiscus said shaking her head a little. “I thought that you had a wife and a kid, isn’t that supposed to settle you down.”\n\n“It’s supposed to….but...I’m still a wild beast at heart.”\n\n“Till your wife gets ahold of you.” Chou spoke up, snickering.\n\n\n“At least one or two, and I’m pretty sure I know who one of them will be. He gave me a bunch of crap when he found out I… ummm we, did the deed and all.” Blushing brightly the palomino boy added, “he’s been a friend for about as long as I can remember, but I still want to slap his muzzle off for the whole my little pony thing.”\n\n“Oh god.” Shanoa said before starting to laugh. “You better hope that you don’t get to drunk around me….or are to heavy of a sleeper…..I’m sure that it wouldn’t be to hard to give you a cutie mark.”\n\n“Aunti…..you do something like that, and I’m sure that it would start some kind of war.” Hana looked up to the catwolf. \n\n“And I’m going to be staying out of this.” Chou said shaking her head a little. “Last time…..yeah….it took forever to get my fur back to the right color.”\n\n“Well, that was interesting,” Tabitha said as the horse parents and their youngest exited the flight booth. “You were looking pretty good towards the end there Brian.”\n\n“Yeeeaaaaa,” the youngest equine replied excitedly. “That was sooooo coooooooool.”\n\n“Hey…..she didn’t barf…..I would have lost money on that bet.” Shanoa said walking up and patting the mother on the back. “You look like you were having some fun. So who’s next? Hibiscus?”\n\n“Ummmm. Look I got dressed up and all that, what more do you want from me?” The shiba said shaking her head as she walked up to the catwolf. “Only if you come with me.”\n\n“Ok you wuss.” Shanoa said taking her hand and pulling her into the chamber, the door being closed behind them.\n\n“I still think that Shanoa is going to be the one that loses her shit in there.” Chou spoke up.\n\n“Yeah….it turns out this is the one thing that she is weak against…..oh god….the teasing that she will get.” Hana said smiling as she watched her family flying around in the tube.\n\n“Not to seem too concerned, but are you picking up a little weight Hana? You seem a little… larger than you were a month ago dar,” Tabitha asked the raccoon dog girl, causing her and the horse boy beside her to blush a little.\n\n“Well….You know Shanoa did say something about there being a chance of me still getting knocked up...something about interspecies ineffectiveness or something.” Hana said with a little snicker. “But I’m sure that was BS…..I am getting a little bigger…..I’m going to be fluffy….”\n\n“Yeah….raccoon dogs get….fluffy in the winter...to the point that we look like a big furball….To the point that we have winter cloths that are bigger to compensate for the fluff.” Chou said smiling. “Just wait….Shanoa wasn’t joking about the being warm in bed….she is going to be a space heater.”\n\n“Good,” Shannon said looking to her brother and grinning. “He bitches about how cold that cabin is some mornings, now he has a reason to just stay in bed.”\n\n“Well there are other reasons that he will want to stay in bed.” Hana said smiling and giggling a little as she planted a kiss on her lover’s cheek. “But we will have to get a good fur catcher for the shower….and lots of lint rollers…..there will be dog fur everywhere.”\n\n“Not to worry sweet lips, already got a new idea in the works to deal with the fluff in the shower,” he said snuggling with his soon to be wife. “”If it works as well as I think it will, it should bring in a few bucks.”\n\n“Never again!” Shanoa squeaked out as she stepped out of the chamber. “Never again will I do something like that.” She said, rather wide eyed and bushy tailed.\n\n“Where is all of that shit you were talking? What happen to being big and bad and all that?” Hibi said giggling as she walked out behind the hybrid.\n\n“That got sucked out.” She said looking to the dog. “Well….I found a thing to add to the ‘No’ list.” She said shivering.\n\n“Wuss.” Hana said smiling.\n\n“Wow…..I thought that Tabby or I would have been the ones that flipped out…..” Chou said shaking her head a little.\n\n“Well you know….everyone has to have a weakness and all that, no one is perfect and all that tripe.” Shanoa said shrugging a little.\n\n”I’m not sure I was that far behind you on the freak out train Shanoa,” the mother horse said wobbling on her legs a bit. “Horses were not meant to fly, and it doesn’t help a damn bit that my own kids make it look so damn easy.”\n\n“It looks like there are just somethings that we just have to give the young.” Shanoa said as she took a seat. “But hey, we have the wisdom and everything.”\n\n“True enough,” Alexander said with a bit of a giggle. “Have to admit though, Hana and Zeus do make a beautiful couple. Not a big wonder they make everything they do look so easy.”\n\n“You know….we need booze so we can make a toast.” Shanoa said smiling “Oh well. Here’s to love in its purest, fluffiest form.” The catwolf said holding up her paw like she was holding a glass. “Lets hope they can handle the sake.”\n\n“You’re not going to help with that one.” Chou said shaking her head a little. “So, Alexander, Tabitha….there is a tradition….are you two ok with drinking a little sake?”\n\n“Define a little…,” the equine woman said fixing the catwolf with a suspicious gaze. \n\n“I think we can handle a little of the native beverage,” Alexander piped up. “I take it his has something to do with the traditions of Japanese marriages?”\n\n“San-san-kudo.” Shanoa started. “Its were the parents and the bride and groom take part. The groom takes three sips of sake from three different cups, then the bride will do the same. After that, they offer it to the families, being you two, and Chou, as a symbol of the new bond.”\n\n“Nine is a lucky number here, and the cups have meaning, the first three represent the couple, Hana, Zuse and me. The second three represent three flaws: hatred, passion and ignorance. With this being Ku or nine, it means deliverance from the three flaws.” Chou said smiling. “So there will be a little drinking, but I think that we have some sake that isn’t too strong. And you don’t have to worry, no more Shanoa level drinking.”\n\n“With those two, or atleast that boy of mine we may need to go with the lightweight stuff. Hate for the boy to get hammered on his wedding day and make a total ass of himself,” Alexander said looking at his middle son with a giggle. “Then again, not sure I want to be joining him in the sloshed pit and make an ass of myself either.”\n\n“Wuss.” Shanoa said with a little snicker. “I thought that part of it involved the parents...or at least one of them getting a little drunk and embarrassing their offspring.”\n\n“Don’t worry, we will get the light stuff.” Chou said smiling.\n\n“No Shanoa, just no…..” Hana looked at the catwolf. “There will be none of whatever you’re planning…”\n\n“So what else is involved in a traditional Japanese wedding? Anything like a rehearsal dinner or reception?” Tabitha asked with a raised eyebrow. “I’m certain that we can still find some way to get one or both of them blushing dark enough to pass out on us.”\n\n“Well there is the reception.” Chou said smiling. “I can’t wait to hear some of the stories...I know that I have a few to tell.”\n\n“And you know….the dad always makes a speech….” Shanoa said looking over to the long muzzle father. “Is anyone here allergic to clams or lobsters? That is a big part of the post knot tying celebrations.”\n\n“None of my crew has any allergies to seafood of any kind,” Tabby said leaning backin her seat again. “I half wish I could get them to eat it more often. But if not that just gives Alexander and I something special for a night out.” A wide grin spreading slowly over her features the equine woman added, “I can think of a few embarrassing stories to share on my son. I’m sure that we can make some changes if you don’t want to use that.” The wolfcat said smiling and looking to the husband horse.\n\n“Now that idea I like, nice snack to go with a snack,” Tabitha said flashing her husband a sultry look. When is the wedding again? I may need to do some shopping before Alexander and I sneak off for a romp in the hay.”\n\n“You have a day to go shopping and everything. The wedding is day after tomorrow.” Chou said nodding a bit, watching as the last person got out of the chamber. “I’m sure that one of the drivers or Shanoa knows a store to match whatever needs you have when it comes to ‘that’ kind of thing.”\n\n“You can get ahold of some good things around here….some fun buzzy things….smacky things….and things to dress up in.” Shanoa said smiling and licking her lips. “Not that I know from experience or anything.”\n\n“Right… “ Tabitha said trailing off as a sparkle in her eye grew a bit brighter. “I think we need to get together later this evening, get things set up for some fun time. You don’t have any problems watching your little brother do you Shannon?”\n\n“Well, not really but why pick on me?” the younger horse female asked tilting her head to the side. “I mean Randy…”\n\n“Has plans for the night, and tomorrow, and the rest of the trip. Sorry sis but I’m not getting stuck holding Brian’s bridle with May around.”\n\n“So…..It looks like I know whose wedding is going to be next.” Hana said with a snicker. “Where are we going for this one? France maybe…..the Eiffel tower would be a good place to get hitched.”\n\n“We’ll see, we still have a few things to take care of before we even talk about weddings, I think,” Randy said cuddling up tighter to the merret in his lap. “Right sweetie?”\n\n“I don’t know….I think that we could get married with your brother and sister.” The noodle giggled a little. “I wonder if they would do a two in one.”\n\n“If not, I’m sure that we could grease a paw.” Shanoa said smiling.\n\n“Nope, this trip started out about my brother and his pretty girlfriend, that’s the way it stays too,” Randy said with a sly grin. “May and I are in no hurry to get married, besides there’s a few things we want to take care of before we worry about a wedding.\n\n","writing_bbcode_parsed":"Marry morning after.



The silence of the morning was broken by the sound of a phone ringing somewhere in the room, causing the pile of blankets to hiss and move.  A paw darting out and slamming around on the desk by the bed seeking out the phone, before pulling it under the pillow that the paw’s owner’s head was hiding under.

“He….hello.”  Shanoa managed to mutter out.

“Morning sweetie.”  The voice came nice and cheery.  “You were out drinking weren't you?”  Anna asked with a little snicker.

“Yes….I took the girls out to see what the nightlife and all that.”  She muttered as she tossed the pillow off her head and rolled over.  “Shouldn’t you be asleep or something like that?”

“Prolly, but I just couldn’t turn up a chance to tell my wife how much I love her….and tease her a little.”  The doe said, her voice softening a little.

“You and your hangover sense.”  The catwolf said laying there with her eyes closed.  “Well...on an unrelated note to you tormenting your poor wife….I have our vacation planned.”

“I told you...I’m not going to Japan...that’s a little far to fly.”  She said, pausing a moment.  “And how the hell did you do that?”

“I was talking to the extended family and we got to talking about you and Curio...and it was brought up about visiting….and well….we will be going to Prairie Creek….or Winter Flats.”  Shanoa said as she started sliding out of bed.

“You need to get up and drink some water….cause I think that you goofed the names….”  Anna said with a snicker.

“I got something better than water.”

“That doesn’t work, it’s all in your head.”

“Well that still counts for something.”

“So do I need to make the plans and all that?”

“Na, I will handle that.”  Shanoa said as she stretched a little, heading to the dresser.  “We will plan everything when I get home.”

“That works for me….”  Anna paused for a moment.  “You go get dressed and get things ready….I have somethings to look up.”

“Love you babe.”  Shanoa with a smile as she started digging through the dresser, finding something that would be nice to wear to the main house.

“Love you….and Flapper said she love’s ya.”  Anna said as the two hung up.

Once the catwolf had gotten mostly dressed and her hair at least brushed, she made her way to the main house and to the kitchen, thankfully for her, her mother and father were quiet most of the time.  Staggering around the kitchen she started looking through cabinets.

“Ugh, who was the asshole driving the bus that hit me,” Shannon muttered as she trudged into the unfamiliar kitchen. “Jesus tell me this place has coffee.”

“Stop shouting,” her mother squeaked from behind the younger equine female. “Quietly, very quietly see if you can help me find a coffee maker.”

“Wusses.”  Chou muttered from the table.  “There’s a pot brewing now.”

“You’re all wusses.”  Shanoa said softly, setting out a glass.  “I have something better than coffee.”  She said as she opened one of the cabinets, a bottle of tabasco and worcestershire sauce.  “Might be gross...but it works.”  She said as she got an egg out of the fridge, cracked it and dropped the yolk into the glass, pouring in a little worcestershire sauce and a few dashes of tabasco, and then some salt and pepper.

“God Shanoa you’re so gross.”  Chou said shaking her head.

“Little long muzzle might need one of those,” the older horse woman said with a little chuckle. “Coffee will be fine for me. Not as much of a panty waste as my daughter is.”

“Errg,” the younger woman responded. “Trying for a repeat of last night’s sneak peak at dinner? Jesus Christ mom, that shit stinks from over here.”

“Lightweight.”  Shanoa said as she picked up the glass.  “This will cure a hangover like it was never there.”  She said taking a breath before knocking back the concoction like a shot.  “Gooooood that’s nasty.” She said with a little shiver before putting the glass in the sink and going to the fridge for a bottle of tea.

“Like I said….you are gross.”  Chou said shaking her head.  “And if ya barf…..do it like outside or something….I’m like right there….and I couldn’t handle that.”

“No… just, hurk”, Shannon squeaked out as she turned and bolted for the bathroom down the hall.

“Hold it till you’re at the altar girl,” Tabitha said turning and heading ti the counter where the coffee pot stood.

“Sheesh sis, run me over,” a male voice called from the hallway. “Man am I glad I got the room first, she looks like it’ll need a major clean up when she gets done.”

“Little loud there.”  Shanoa said, glaring at the source of the voice with bloodshot eyes.  “There are some of us that have hangovers.”

“Yeah…..count yourself lucky that you didn’t come with us.”  Chou said shaking her head as she got up to go for the coffee pot.

“Like my little fluffball would let me go anywhere with you lot,” Zeus said walking into the kitchen, his soon to be bride right behind him, the pair wrapped up in thick terrycloth robes. “Nope, not starting this marriage out with my furry rump in line for an ass kicking. Well not another one anyway.”

“Wuss…..ya gotta live a little and all that.”  Shanoa said as she sat down at the table.  “And hey….the only thing that went wrong….the light weights tried to keep up with me.”

“And you were the one that said something along the lines of.”  Chou said as she turned and went back to the table, a cup of black coffee in her paw.  “Hey lets do some shots….I think that you might have said something about body shots too.”

“Mom….you let her talk you into taking shots…..I thought you learned after christmas the other year.”  Hana said shaking her head a little as she went over to the fridge, grabbing a bottle of tea for her and her soon to be husband.

“She didn’t.”  Shanoa said smiling and snickering,  “The student will never overthrow the teacher or something like that.”

“Bite me.”

“Really? I thought the bartender nibbling on your ear for half an hour would have been enough for you,” Tabitha said taking her steaming cup to the table.

“Well, glad you all had a good time just the same. Come on sweet lips, I believe I hear the hot springs calling us,” the equine boy said wrapping an arm around his lover's shoulders. Pulling her close he whispered, “now if I can just keep my paws to myself.”

“Well…..I’m sure that paws are going to wonder…..”  Hana said with a snicker.  “And I know….we won't get naughty…..or...too naughty.”  She said snickering a little as they made their way past the hungover group.

“Hey….That was just like friendly nibbles or something…..”  Shanoa said shaking her head.  “I’m married….I was a good wife and all that.”  She said looking at her ring.  “I wonder if I could have talked Anna into a threesome.”  She muttered.

“If you say so Shanona…” Zeus said letting out a soft whiney. “Anyway, come one fluffy butt, cuddles in a hot springs sounds pretty nice. Not any close to home so we may as well enjoy it while we can.”

“I didn’t bring them home with me or anything like that….I didn’t even kiss them….I’m still a good wife right?”  She paused a moment.  “Oh and I told Anna about coming to visit for christmas and all that….she is good with a little vacation….I think that she is planning something, knowing that sneaky thing.”

“Not my circus, not my monkey,” Tabitha said with a snicker. “Now you two don’t go getting too frisky in public. Wouldn’t want you embarrassing yourselves in front of family after all.”

“I don’t think that we have to worry about that.”  Chou said, starting to perk up a little.  “And Shanoa, you kinda goofed, but in the end, you didn’t cheat...so you're good….I think.”

“You know….lesser long muzzle has been in the bathroom for a while….do I need to go get the emergency kit?”  Shanoa asked looking up from her tea bottle.

“Give her another few minutes, then we’ll go rescue her if we need to,” the mother palomino said more seriously. She’s mostly a good girl, not much for sneaking around and drinking like some of her friends. She should be fine, and we’ll check on her in a few anyway.”

“Heh, so she is the opposite of Shanoa.”  Chou said with a little giggle.  “That one was almost always in some kind of trouble….sneaking out...cutting classes and things like that.”

“And I passed school and all that...and have how many degrees.”  Shanoa said poking her tongue out.  “The whole reason that I was like that when I was that age….was boredom.  And I like to think that I have settled down now that I have a kid and a wife.”  She said smiling.

“Last time you bragged, I think that you have like three of them.”  Chou said rolling her eyes.  “Something in Genetics, something for the ER, and I forget the other one.”

“Something like that.”  The catwolf said.  “So momma long muzzle….the wedding is in just like a day…..ya stressed?.....need more booze?”  Shanoa said snickering a little.

“If you had asked me that a few days ago … I would have been all over the more to drink,” the mother equine said  shrugging a little. “But seeing the way that pair are, I have no worries about them, they go this. Besides, as much as I love my son, it’ll be kind of nice having one less muzzle yammering around the house.”

“Little more peace and all that.”  Shanoa said smiling.  “Well...I’m sure that me, you, Anna, and Chou can find a nice spa to go to or something.”

“This time….slightly less booze.”  Chou said shaking her head a little.

“Morning ladies.”  A male voice spoke up, “looks like you let Cottenball take you out drinking.”  Ren said with a snicker of his own as he stood at the coffee pot.

“Morning Ren,” Tabitha chirped, a snicker in her voice, “hope we didn’t wake up the entire household last night.”

“You didn’t wake me or Izumi, then again we sleep like rocks.”  the wolf said as he sat down at the table.  “And Takayama was probably awake anyway, poor boy never sleeps….and Mae wouldn’t have heard you to start with.”  He said sitting down and sipping at his coffee.

“Well good to know, especially with how loud these dorks were when we got home,” the younger equine female said. “”Can’t believe how loud you three were trying to get you to your rooms, sheesh.”

“Like you were any quieter clomping around like you were having a seizure?” Tabitha asked cocking an eyebrow at her daughter.

“Hey I was mostly quiet.”  Shanoa said with a little huff.  

“Until you started barking orders at the door that you couldn’t open.”  Chou giggled

“Hey it listened….and hey….you feeling better there little long muzzle…..you ready for that prairie oyster?”  Shanoa asked, smiling to the younger horse.

“For the  what now?” Shannon asked looking at the catwolf cluelessly.

“That gross concoction that she mixes up thinking that it helps with a hangover.”  Ren said rolling his eyes.

“I don’t know, I think that it works.”  Another male voice spoke up as an erming walked into the room, spots of his fur already starting to change for the coming winter.

“See it works.”  Shanoa said smiling, “everyone this is our step brother Takayama.”

“It nice to meet you all.  You can call me Taka for short.”  He said as he slipped over to the coffee pot.  “I take it mom is making breakfast.”

“You know that she is.”  Ren said from the table, “it should be done in a few.”

“So how come we’re just meeting Taka now… and are there any other cute members of the family we should know about?” Shannon asked

“Sorry sweetie. He’s taken.”  A female voice said as she walked into the room.  “That….and I think you're a little young for him...though there are some other cuties that you will meet.”

“Morning Mae.”  Chou said smiling.

“Yeah….guys….this is our sister, Mae….she’s the reason that I know sign language.”  Shanoa said looking back to her sister.

“Yes...and now that you have a kid, you’re glad you know it.”  Mea said, sitting a tablet on the table before joining the group.

“Maybe you should just wait for breakfast  sweetie,” Tabitha said looking and grinning at her daughter. “I think you’ve shoved that hoof far enough in your muzzle for one day already.”

“Hehe.  Don’t worry.”  Mea spoke up, snickering a little.  “Chou was kinda the same way…..I would steal someone that she was flirting with, and then she would do it to me.”

“Yeah, you owe me.”  Chou said shaking her head a little.  “I saved you from a dick.”  She said shivering.

“Yeah…...he’ll get his.”  Shanoa said smiling.

“Breakfast is ready.”  Izumi’s voice called out as she walked through the door from the kitchen, a young boy about Brain’s age, and an older male following her with plates, starting to set them out on the table for the guests.

“This looks wonderful,” Tabitha said taking a seat next to her daughter. “Should we call Zeus and Hana is or not?”

“I'll go get them.”  Chou said smiling as she got up, bowing a little before slipping off to collect the others.

“Everyone...this is the rest of the close family...well save for one more…”  Shanoa paused a moment.  

“She’s on her way, she is a little late….flight got delayed.”  Izumi said with a smile.

“Well….anyway, shorty there is Kita,” she said motioning to the small, ermine boy.  “Boy he really takes after you Taka.”  

“And I’m Tatsuya.”  The older male said, it was clear that he got his genes from his mother and father fairly evenly.  Looking like a long cat in a way, his fur already white for the winter that wasn’t there yet.

“We have one more that you will meet when she rolls in.”  Shanoa said turning back to the table.

“Well I found a soggy pair.”  Chou said as she walked back into the dining room, Hana and her mate following right behind her.

“What can I say, the springs does wonders for your fur.”  The younger fluffdog said as she sat down.

“Fur, muscles, stress, tension…” the horse boy chimed in as he sat next to his mate. “Okay, a few new faces this morning, hello to everyone that I haven’t met yet.”

“You must be the soon to be son in law.”  The female feline said smiling.  “I’m Mea, this is my husband Takayama.”  She said motioning to the ermine beside her.

“The little one there is Kita, and the older one is Tatsuya, our kids.”  Takayama said as he motioned to the others.

“We have one more that you will meet later…..she’s...late like always.”  Shanoa said smiling.

“Shall we dig in….I think that we have embarrassing stories to tell and all that.”  Ren said with a snicker as he eyed his soon to be relative and granddaughter.

“Um….aren't we missing some people?’ Mea asked, glancing around the table.

“Only two at the moment I’m afraid,” an older male’s voice called out as he and a younger horse boy entered the dining room. “Randy and May slipped out early this morning, something about watching the sunrise before breakfast with her family or some such thing.”

“HI!” the younger horse boy called out as soon as his father fell silent. “I’m Brian and this is my daddy,” he piped up with a huge smile on his face.

“Alexander,” the older male said bowing to the seated family gathered around the table.

“You know, I think that we need name tags or something.”  Shanoa said shaking her head a little.  “You two, this is,” she said as she started pointing to each of the group.  “Takayama, Mea, Kita, and Tatsuya.”  The catwolf took a deep breath, “and there is one more that you will meet later, when her flight gets here.”

“That reminds me….I need to have a driver go wait for her.”  Izumi said scribbling something down on a scrap of paper.

“Where the hell did she poof off to this time?’  Shanoa cocked her eyebrow a little as she started helping passing out the food.  “I thought that she was in the states the last time I heard.”

“She was for a little bit, but then she slipped off to Ireland or something like that.”  Ren said with a little shrug.

“I need a job like that.”  Shanoa shook her head as she sat back down.

“I don’t like flying that much...then again...my roots are too set here in the states.”  Chou said as she started eating.

“And to think that, she gets to do all of this flying around and all that because she can point a camera.”  Shanoa said rolling her eyes.

“The only of our kids that's more free spirited than Shanoa and was in less trouble.”  Izumi said with a little snicker.

“Gee mom…..and she got into a lot of things that you two didn’t know about….she just was better at not getting caught.”  Shanoa said in her defense.

“And you should have learned from her.”  Taka said with a snicker.

“You’re not helping sweetie.”  Mea said rolling her eyes.

“Soooo, you're going to marry cousin, aren't you a little old for her or something?”  Tatsuya spoke up, glancing over to the horse boy.

“Maybe a little, as far as the laws of Colorado are concerned. But not by much really, besides it’s kind of her fault. She’s the one that insisted I become her samurai after kicking my ass,” the palomino boy replied leaning over and kissing his lover on the cheek.

Snickering a little as she felt her lover’s lips on her cheek.  “And boy did mom run with it.”  Hana giggled.

“That’s cause mom’s know best, isn’t that right Tabby.”  Chou said smiling.

“I think that my motherly instinct is a little off then….that or I’m way to protective.”  Shanoa said pausing for a moment.  “I might have to kill someone if they got to close to Curio and hurt her feelings.”

“Well you are kinda weird.”  Chou said, shooting her a glance.

“Still weird to think that you have a kid.”  Mea said cutting her sister a glance.

“Jeez is it that weird that I can be a mom….I mean is there something that I should know?”  Shanoa said with a little huff.

“Well kinda.”

“Yes it’s weird.”  Izumi spoke up.  “I mean I love you and all, but you are my kid, so I need to be blunt with you.”  The elder feline said taking a deep breath.  “I didn’t think that you would be settling down to have a family and all of that until you were my age…..and even then I didn’t think that you would have a kid, I kind of thought that you would have a mate at the most….work, get a nice house and all that then retire….or something like that.”

“Well…...things change…..I blame a doe for softening me up...and then saving a kid from the…..circumstances that she was in.”  The hybrid said smiling and taking a sip of her tea.

“Of all the things.” Takayama said snickering.  “I thought that it would have been you getting hurt or something doing something dumb.”

“Yea……”  Shanoa said reaching up to rub at her arm where the scar was.  “I’m still taking us skydiving.”  She said pausing a moment, “you know I need to take all of us.”  She said smiling.


“NO!” Tabbitha blurted out before anyone could stop her. “I avoided getting on a plane to see my son married, no way in hell am I even remotely going to jump out of one.”

“I still don’t think that Shanoa would jump out of one.”  Takayama said shaking his head.  “So I don’t think that I would have to worry about it.”

“You know…..there is that indoor place.”  The catwolf said smiling from ear to ear.  “Would that be a little better for you momma long muzzle?”  She asked doing her best to not laugh.

“Shanoa….be nice.”  Hana said shaking her head.  “We don’t want to kill the family yet….intentionally or otherwise…..”

“That sounds kind of cool,” Zeus said turning to his soon to be bride and wiggling his eyebrows a little. “Wonder how much… brushing it would take for your fur after something like that?”

“Never tried that, I’d give it a go,” Shannon piped up with a smirk and a knowing glance at her mother. “That is if mom goes.”

“That, you might have a chance of getting me to do. Skydiving has always sounded like fun, but it’s the being in and jumping out of a plane that squicks me out in a heartbeat,” the palomino mother said.

“Well I kinda hate to pop your bubble there….but the most that you would be brushing is her tail.”  Shanoa paused a moment.  “Skin tight suits.”

“Well…..what do you say…..we have the catoriors and all that working here….you lot can go do something fun…..it will be our treat.”  Ren said smiling.  “A little extra gift.”

“Yea, take me so I can fly daddy,” the youngest equine boy said excitedly.

“Sounds like the kids are up for it, what do you say sweetie?” Alexander asked his wife, the older female horse looking around the table. With a little sigh she said, “okay, looks like I’m out numbered. One rule though, you lot are cleaning it up if I get air sick… in air.”

“I’m sure that they have a really big hose or something that they can use.”  Shanoa with a snicker.  “I’m also sure that we don’t want to do it after breakfast.”

“We should wait…..wait till Hibi gets here…..scare the hell out of that poor girl too.”  Chou said with a snicker of her own.

“Sounds like an adventure to me.”  Mea said smiling and taking her lover’s hand.  “You’re not afraid of the heights are you?”

“Well it’s not so much the being up that high…..it’s the falling part for me.”  Takayama said shaking his head, “But I think that I can handle a little indoor jumping and all.”

“Sounds like after breakfast my bunch should get changed and ready then,” the father horse said with a little chuckle. “To think that this is the day for the Chamberlin family that horses really do fly.”

“Well then.  We have our plans for today.”  Shanoa said snickering.

When horses fly?

“Well this is going to be fun…..and something to tell the grandkids.”  Chou said shaking her head a little as the group looked around the lobby.

“Yes, I called ahead about the group, there will be fifteen of us…..we are waiting on two more.”  Ren said smiling to the person behind the counter.  “We are going to need a lot of copies of the tape.”

“Ok.  It looks like everything is good to go...you will be in bay four at the end of hall….the changing rooms are in the back of the bay.”  The worker said with a smile, “there will be someone there to teach if need and all.”  

“You’re not going to get me into anything like that.”  A female voice rang out.

“Oh come on ya wuss.”  Shanoa’s voice rang out in retaliation.  “You’re in a plane all the time, don’t you think that you should know what it’s like to fall out of one?”

“Bite me…..I will take pictures and all that, but other than that, you are not going to get me in one.”  The voice spoke again, as the owner of it noticed all the people.  “Shanoa, i know that you want me to do something wild like you...but you’re going to need more people than this.”

“Wuss.”  Shanoa said as she kept pulling at the shiba inu.  “Introductions in the hanger.”

“Jezze Shanoa…..a little to the point and pushy don’t you think?”  Takayama spoke up as they all started heading back.

“Hey, momma long muzzle is going to do it….flower power here can too.”  She said snickering.

“Love you too sis.”  The other dog said as they got to the hanger.  In the large room, there was a large safety glass tube with a fan set in the floor under grating, chairs sitting around it and even a camera set up.

“Wow…..they go all out here.”  Chou said as she glanced around the room.

“Well i should introduce you all.  This is, Hibiscus…..flower power...this is Zeus, Tabby, Alexander, Shannon, Brain, Randy, and May.”  She said pointing to the different members.

“Hello everyone….I don’t know what Shanoa has told you…..but I’m sure that I can pay you more than she is to not get me into this thing.”  The shiba said looking at the group.

“I told them that you’re some kind of little wuss or something like that.”  Shanoa said with a little snicker.  “We all managed to talk the horse mom into it, so why not you?”

“I spend enough time in planes I don’t want to think about what it would be like to end up jumping out of one.”  Hibi said shaking her head a little.

“Come on ladies….we can keep the pissing contest in the changing room.”  Chou said with a little snicker as she started leading the group off to the changing room.

“As long as it stayts there and not running down someone’s leg once we’re in that thing,” the younger equine female said nodding towards the big glass tube. “That’s that last place I can think of I ever would want anything wet hitting me in the face.”

“That’s why you pee before hand.”  May said with a little snicker.  “And weren't you the one that was saying something about barfing….do we need to send you in with one of the little bags that they have on the air planes?”

“I don’t know, I think that she can handle it….”  Shanoa said smiling.  “The one that would pee himself would be curly butt.”  She said pointing to Hibiscus.

“Gee….thanks for the vote of confidence.”  She said shaking her head a little.  “We aren't taking bets on anything….I know how you work…..”  She said eye Shanoa.

“Not my fault that you lost…..and didn’t pay attention to what I said the prize was.”  The hybrid said smiling as she slipped into the changing stall.

“That doesn’t sound like a good idea,”Tabitha said looking over the bundle of clothing in her arms. “I get the distinct feeling that not knowing EXACTLY what the terms of a bet is with Shanoa could come back to bite you in the ass.”

“Hey, I told her what the terms and all that were…..but she wasn’t listening….I will get things in writing and all that.”  Shanoa said shaking her head a little.

“I still wouldn’t trust you….”  Hibi said peering at Shanoa.  “You would use all that jargon to get a loophole in there or something.

“You say that shit like I’m a lawyer or something….I’m a doctor...or a geneticist….or something.”  The hybrid said as she stepped out of the changing stall.  “I think I need something like this at home.”  She said looking herself over in the mirror.  “Mmmmmh sleek.”

“Shanoa….you are a little too vain.”  Chou said as she stepped out.  “Ok….these suits do make you look sleek.”  She said looking at the mirror.  “The rest of you ready?”

“If I have to.”  Hibiscus said stepping out of the stall.  “This is going to be a hell of a time….Wonder who is going to be the first to lose their voice from screaming.”

“It’s going to be momma long muzzle.”  Shanoa said snickering.

“Na...I think that it’s going to be Shanoa.”  Chou said giggle.

“So why the hell does this thing make me look like a damn sugar glider?” Shannon asked with a frown as she stepped from the changing room.

“Because with the way we’re built we need the extra surface area on the suits for stability,” Zeus answered as he and Hana stepped from their changing room as well.


“You will be the horse in the night…..bat horse.”  Shanoa said with a laugh.  “And yes….you equines…..are rather interesting in the way that you’re built….kinda compact and all, but still so much muscle.”

“Nananananananananana Bat horse.”  Chou giggled out as she walked past.

Rolling her eyes at the adults antics the older equine girl turned to her brother and asked, “ you just making that shit up or you for real?”

“Just telling you what the guy at the counter told me when I asked about the difference. He said it had to do with our build and that the equine suits were extra snug and stretchy in certain areas.”

“I can think of a few spots on Zeus that would need the extra stretch.”  Hana said with a little giggle, before leaning up and whispering something surely naughty in his ear.

Blushing a bit the palomino boy wrapped his lover in his arms, lifting her off the floor and carrying her as he said half quietly,”keep talking like that and we’ll see just how stretchy this suit is sweet lips.”

“I think that we might have to test that out sometime.”  She said with a little giggle.

“Jeez….save it for the honeymoon or something.”  Shanoa said walking up and sitting down at one of the cushioned chairs.  “So who is going to be the first screamer in here?”  

“That isn’t likely to be any wilder than things have been up till now,” Zeus said walking towards the open doorway of the flight chamber. “What do ya say sweet cheeks?  You and me up first, see how big of a pair of nerds we can make ourselves look like?”

“Well…..I guess someone should show them how to do it.”  Hana said smiling and kissing her soon to be husband before tugging him in.  “Ok.”  She said holding his hand.

“Once the fan spins up and I give you the wave, you start leaning forward.”  The wolf instructor said as he stepped into the door of the chamber, I will be right here if something happens.”  He said stepping out and closing the door.

Within a moment or two of him shutting the door, the fan under them started speeding up, blowing air up past them.  It took just another moment or two before the instructor waved to the pair in there.  Hana said something but the words were lost on the fan, she started leaning forward before she was starting to fly….or in this cause simulated fall.

Shaking his head slightly as his lovers lost comment Zeus grinned slightly as she leaned into the uprush of air, the force of it suspending her and lifting her a bit. He reached out and grabbed her ankle as he walked towards the center of the floor. It was a little difficult to keep himself from joining her in the air, a feat partially accomplished because the instructor had kept the speed of the fan just below the threshold of lifting him from his hooves. With a single movement he pulled her back towards him, turning her as he did so and grabbing her by both paws as the instructor cranked the fans speed up another notch.. The increased wind speed caused Hana to end up with her foot paws pointing to the ceiling of the confined space leaving her looking down into her mate’s eyes.  Pulling her down, pressing his muzzle to hers for a moment he winked then  pulled her closer. he said, “make yourself as skinny as you can sweet cheeks,” as he worked on turning her around as she pulled her arms and legs in tighter together. As they drew closer he wrapped one arm around her waist and pulled her in close. “Let’s see if we can use some of that Tai-chi your mom has been trying to teach me sweet cheeks,” he said to her as he nodded then leaned them both backwards as the fan sped up drastically.

Nodding and smiling as she did as she was told, pulling herself close to her lover and making herself as skinny as she could, which for someone as fluffy as her wasn’t all that easy.  She relaxed as she let her mate hold her close, blushing and wondering just what the horse was up to.

“They know not to like….get it on in there right?”  Shanoa muttered.  “But man those two are…..limber….”

“I think that they are pretty graceful for their first time in there.”  The instructor said watching the two.

“I wonder if there is money to be made in synchronized falling.”  Shanoa said with a little giggle.

“No.”  was all that Chou said.

Zeus and Hana executed a few more slow, perfectly timed flips and dives in the chamber before the palomino took his bride to be’s paws in his again and pulled her close. He turned to nod at the instructor and the guy at the control panel then set them into a slow spiral as the rush of the air past them began to slow enough to let them touch down light as feathers again.

The raccoon dog managed to sneak in a little kiss before the two were on the ground, smiling to her lover, “I love you….you romantic devil you.”  She said getting up with Zeus.  “Oh god when I get home….we are going to have to break out the peanut butter.”

“So how was it?”  Chou asked as they were brought out of the chamber.  “like being a flying fluff?”

“It’s…..it’s hard to explain.”  Hana said taking a deep breath.  “I mean...you will get to find out.”  She said smiling.

“Yea it is, but it’s kind of neat to be able to concentrate on what you’re doing without thinking about the ground rushing up at you like it is intent on killing you or something,” Zeus said stopping suddenly and going a little pale. “Sorry, probably should have left that part out,” he muttered with his head lowered a bit.

“So momma Long muzzle…..you ready?”  Shanoa said smiling and poking her tongue out a little.

“As ready as I think I’m going to get,” the equine woman responded getting to her hooves and pulling her goggles down into place. “Just don’t expect a lot of acrobatics from this old mare. I’ll be doing good to not get stuck on the wall or something.”

“Come on mom, if the gym class reject over there,” shannon said nodding towards her brother, “can do that shit he was doing you’ll do fine.”

“Do a flip or something.”  Shanoa said smiling and snickering a little.  “You look like you were a cheerleader or something back in school…..show these youngin’s a thing or three.”

“You know….I want to see you do some of these flips and shit.”  Chou said shaking her head a little.

“I don’t know I want to see her get in there and not lose her shit…..I have a feeling that Shanoa is going to be the one that loses it……”  Hibiscus said smiling and glancing to the catwolf.

“Well, not sure I can be as smooth as my son, but I’ll do my best not to lose you to the wind honey,” Alexander said getting to his hooves and taking his wife by the paw.

“Come on mommy and daddy, let’s go play,” Brian said hopping up from his seat and bolting into the chamber, diving head first into the steady stream of air as it lifted him nearly to the ceiling.

“Ok….there is something strangely cute about a little long muzzle flying like that.”  Shanoa said smiling at the sight of Brain flying around.  “I need to get Anna and Curio to do this too.”

“When did you get a wife…..and a kid….I thought that your insides were broken or something.”  Hibi said cocking her head to the side a little as she looked at the hybrid.

“Yes.”  Was all that Shanoa replied with.

After a scant few minutes had passed the operator chuckled as the sound of rushing wind grew less. “Looks like this will be the first part of the group that needs a little help getting things figured out.”

“Well, it’s not like equines, and my family in particular, are well known for our aerial feats,” Randy piped up with a giggle.

“It's all in the wiggle.”  The merret girl said smiling and snickering a little.  “And I’m sure that you have been around me long enough to have picked up a few tricks.”  She said taking Randy’s hand and started tugging him in with her.

“You know….there is a sex reference in here somewhere.”  Shanoa said with a little snicker.  “Skydiving is a lot like your first time in bed….you don’t know what you're doing….but you just go with what feels right.”

“Something like that,” Zeus muttered into his lover’s neck.

“Well….I know what you did, sure felt right.”  Hana said with a little blush.  “My silver tongue stallion.”

“Hmmm silver tongued stallion… I kind of like the sound of that as a nickname,” the equine boy said before kissing the raccoon dog girl’s cheek.  “Maybe even change my user name in games to that one.”

“What?”, his older brother chimed in. “Don’t tell me you’re getting tired of that horrible name you dreamed up. I thought you’d never get sick of ‘The Prancing Stallion’”.

“Still think that one sounds kind of gay as hell,” Shannon added.

“That’s putting it...lightly.”  Shanoa said shaking her head a little.  “I thought that I seen some bad names with some of the people that I run with….namely that norn tempest and charr reaper….”

“That name is….kinda fancy…..”  Hana said with a little giggle.  “I need to come up with a name to use.”

“I don’t know,” the palomino said hugging his mate tighter and nuzzling against her neck. “I think Domino fits you even as a game handle.”

“Domino…..you mean Dynamo?”  Hana said with a little giggle.  “Fluffy Dynamo.”  She said smiling and looking up to her lover.  “Something like that.”

“Fluffy is putting it lightly.”  Shanoa said with a snicker.  “Chou….you did let him know that she will be….fluffing up…..”

“No….It happens to us every year, I kinda forget about it.”  The mother dog said shaking her head a little.

“Get a good fur catcher for the shower.”  Shanoa said shaking her head a little.  “And...I'm going to tell you….things are going to get a lot….warmer in bed for you two.”

“That could be handy, what with living up in the mountains and all that,” Zeus said as he watched the other members of his family fly around the enclosed space. “Though so far Hana seems to like being away from pretty much everything and everyone once we get home after school. You know I wonder what my idiot friends think about us just up and disappearing like we did.”

“I don’t know….but it’s going to be a hell of a reaction when you two get back and find out that….well you two are hitched.”  Chou said smiling.  “My little is growing up.”  

“You know there is going to be the one or two of them that will give you shit for it…..something along the lines of you just faking it or something knowing your history.”  Shanoa said shaking her head a little.  “But...they will see that it’s real and all….or I will I have to come up here and teach the little shits a thing or three.”

“Yup, Shanoa is still insane.”  Hibiscus said shaking her head a little.  “I thought that you had a wife and a kid, isn’t that supposed to settle you down.”

“It’s supposed to….but...I’m still a wild beast at heart.”

“Till your wife gets ahold of you.”  Chou spoke up, snickering.


“At least one or two, and I’m pretty sure I know who one of them will be. He gave me a bunch of crap when he found out I… ummm we, did the deed and all.” Blushing brightly the palomino boy added, “he’s been a friend for about as long as I can remember, but I still want to slap his muzzle off for the whole my little pony thing.”

“Oh god.”  Shanoa said before starting to laugh.  “You better hope that you don’t get to drunk around me….or are to heavy of a sleeper…..I’m sure that it wouldn’t be to hard to give you a cutie mark.”

“Aunti…..you do something like that, and I’m sure that it would start some kind of war.”  Hana looked up to the catwolf.  

“And I’m going to be staying out of this.”  Chou said shaking her head a little.  “Last time…..yeah….it took forever to get my fur back to the right color.”

“Well, that was interesting,” Tabitha said as the horse parents and their youngest exited the flight booth. “You were looking pretty good towards the end there Brian.”

“Yeeeaaaaa,” the youngest equine replied excitedly. “That was sooooo coooooooool.”

“Hey…..she didn’t barf…..I would have lost money on that bet.”  Shanoa said walking up and patting the mother on the back.  “You look like you were having some fun.  So who’s next?  Hibiscus?”

“Ummmm.  Look I got dressed up and all that, what more do you want from me?”  The shiba said shaking her head as she walked up to the catwolf.  “Only if you come with me.”

“Ok you wuss.”  Shanoa said taking her hand and pulling her into the chamber, the door being closed behind them.

“I still think that Shanoa is going to be the one that loses her shit in there.”  Chou spoke up.

“Yeah….it turns out this is the one thing that she is weak against…..oh god….the teasing that she will get.”  Hana said smiling as she watched her family flying around in the tube.

“Not to seem too concerned, but are you picking up a little weight Hana? You seem a little… larger than you were a month ago dar,” Tabitha asked the raccoon dog girl, causing her and the horse boy beside her to blush a little.

“Well….You know Shanoa did say something about there being a chance of me still getting knocked up...something about interspecies ineffectiveness or something.”  Hana said with a little snicker.  “But I’m sure that was BS…..I am getting a little bigger…..I’m going to be fluffy….”

“Yeah….raccoon dogs get….fluffy in the winter...to the point that we look like a big furball….To the point that we have winter cloths that are bigger to compensate for the fluff.”  Chou said smiling.  “Just wait….Shanoa wasn’t joking about the being warm in bed….she is going to be a space heater.”

“Good,” Shannon said looking to her brother and grinning. “He bitches about how cold that cabin is some mornings, now he has a reason to just stay in bed.”

“Well there are other reasons that he will want to stay in bed.”  Hana said smiling and giggling a little as she planted a kiss on her lover’s cheek.  “But we will have to get a good fur catcher for the shower….and lots of lint rollers…..there will be dog fur everywhere.”

“Not to worry sweet lips, already got a new idea in the works to deal with the fluff in the shower,” he said snuggling with his soon to be wife. “”If it works as well as I think it will, it should bring in a few bucks.”

“Never again!”  Shanoa squeaked out as she stepped out of the chamber.  “Never again will I do something like that.”  She said, rather wide eyed and bushy tailed.

“Where is all of that shit you were talking?  What happen to being big and bad and all that?”  Hibi said giggling as she walked out behind the hybrid.

“That got sucked out.”  She said looking to the dog.  “Well….I found a thing to add to the ‘No’ list.”  She said shivering.

“Wuss.”  Hana said smiling.

“Wow…..I thought that Tabby or I would have been the ones that flipped out…..”  Chou said shaking her head a little.

“Well you know….everyone has to have a weakness and all that, no one is perfect and all that tripe.”  Shanoa said shrugging a little.

”I’m not sure I was that far behind you on the freak out train Shanoa,” the mother horse said wobbling on her legs a bit. “Horses were not meant to fly, and it doesn’t help a damn bit that my own kids make it look so damn easy.”

“It looks like there are just somethings that we just have to give the young.”  Shanoa said as she took a seat.  “But hey, we have the wisdom and everything.”

“True enough,” Alexander said with a bit of a giggle. “Have to admit though, Hana and Zeus do make a beautiful couple. Not a big wonder they make everything they do look so easy.”

“You know….we need booze so we can make a toast.”  Shanoa said smiling  “Oh well.  Here’s to love in its purest, fluffiest form.”  The catwolf said holding up her paw like she was holding a glass.  “Lets hope they can handle the sake.”

“You’re not going to help with that one.”  Chou said shaking her head a little.  “So, Alexander, Tabitha….there is a tradition….are you two ok with drinking a little sake?”

“Define a little…,” the equine woman said fixing the catwolf with a suspicious gaze.

“I think we can handle a little of the native beverage,” Alexander piped up. “I take it his has something to do with the traditions of Japanese marriages?”

“San-san-kudo.”  Shanoa started.  “Its were the parents and the bride and groom take part.  The groom takes three sips of sake from three different cups, then the bride will do the same.  After that, they offer it to the families, being you two, and Chou, as a symbol of the new bond.”

“Nine is a lucky number here, and the cups have meaning, the first three represent the couple, Hana, Zuse and me.  The second three represent three flaws: hatred, passion and ignorance.  With this being Ku or nine, it means deliverance from the three flaws.”  Chou said smiling.  “So there will be a little drinking, but I think that we have some sake that isn’t too strong.  And you don’t have to worry, no more Shanoa level drinking.”

“With those two, or atleast that boy of mine we may need to go with the lightweight stuff. Hate for the boy to get hammered on his wedding day and make a total ass of himself,” Alexander said looking at his middle son with a giggle. “Then again, not sure I want to be joining him in the sloshed pit and make an ass of myself either.”

“Wuss.”  Shanoa said with a little snicker.  “I thought that part of it involved the parents...or at least one of them getting a little drunk and embarrassing their offspring.”

“Don’t worry, we will get the light stuff.”  Chou said smiling.

“No Shanoa, just no…..”  Hana looked at the catwolf.  “There will be none of whatever you’re planning…”

“So what else is involved in a traditional Japanese wedding? Anything like a rehearsal dinner or reception?” Tabitha asked with a raised eyebrow. “I’m certain that we can still find some way to get one or both of them blushing dark enough to pass out on us.”

“Well there is the reception.”  Chou said smiling.  “I can’t wait to hear some of the stories...I know that I have a few to tell.”

“And you know….the dad always makes a speech….”  Shanoa said looking over to the long muzzle father.  “Is anyone here allergic to clams or lobsters?  That is a big part of the post knot tying celebrations.”

“None of my crew has any allergies to seafood of any kind,” Tabby said leaning backin her seat again. “I half wish I could get them to eat it more often. But if not that just gives Alexander and I something special for a night out.” A wide grin spreading slowly over her features the equine woman added, “I can think of a few embarrassing stories to share on my son. May even give his wife a few new ideas.”

“Well if you like seafood….then there is a special date that I can get you two hooked up on.”  Shanoa said smiling from ear to ear.  “I’m sure that you two would like to try something new….like a second honeymoon for you.”

“This I think I want to hear more about,” Tabitha said giving her husband a sultry look. “After all, once this wedding is done and those two are off on their honeymoon, I wouldn’t mind some alone time with his studly father.”

“You know….I think I know what you have planned there….It starts with the letter N doesn't’ it?”  Chou said smiling, watching Shanoa nodding and leaning into whisper something to Tabbitha.

“So what do you think about that?  I’m sure that we can make some changes if you don’t want to use that.”  The wolfcat said smiling and looking to the husband horse.

“Now that idea I like, nice snack to go with a snack,” Tabitha said flashing her husband a sultry look. When is the wedding again? I may need to do some shopping before Alexander and I sneak off for a romp in the hay.”

“You have a day to go shopping and everything.  The wedding is day after tomorrow.”  Chou said nodding a bit, watching as the last person got out of the chamber.  “I’m sure that one of the drivers or Shanoa knows a store to match whatever needs you have when it comes to ‘that’ kind of thing.”

“You can get ahold of some good things around here….some fun buzzy things….smacky things….and things to dress up in.”  Shanoa said smiling and licking her lips.  “Not that I know from experience or anything.”

“Right… “ Tabitha said trailing off as a sparkle in her eye grew a bit brighter. “I think we need to get together later this evening, get things set up for some fun time. You don’t have any problems watching your little brother do you Shannon?”

“Well, not really but why pick on me?” the younger horse female asked tilting her head to the side. “I mean Randy…”

“Has plans for the night, and tomorrow, and the rest of the trip. Sorry sis but I’m not getting stuck holding Brian’s bridle with May around.”

“So…..It looks like I know whose wedding is going to be next.”  Hana said with a snicker.  “Where are we going for this one?  France maybe…..the Eiffel tower would be a good place to get hitched.”

“We’ll see, we still have a few things to take care of before we even talk about weddings, I think,” Randy said cuddling up tighter to the merret in his lap. “Right sweetie?”

“I don’t know….I think that we could get married with your brother and sister.”  The noodle giggled a little.  “I wonder if they would do a two in one.”

“If not, I’m sure that we could grease a paw.”  Shanoa said smiling.

“Nope, this trip started out about my brother and his pretty girlfriend, that’s the way it stays too,” Randy said with a sly grin. “May and I are in no hurry to get married, besides there’s a few things we want to take care of before we worry about a wedding.
