  "description": "[i]Originally Submitted to FurAffinity.net on December 25th, 2012 07:57 AM.[/i]\n\nThis is [fa]vayvayviolence[/fa]'s character Yinny, as part of [fa]mympho[/fa]'s Secret Santa art exchange.  It's been difficult to hold off on posting this, but I managed, although a strip of the background appears as my Christmas banner on my Weasyl profile.\n\nYinny is not a child fur, but she was at one time, because everybody must have been, so I hope VayVay takes this in the right holiday spirit.  Also I'm much more confident drawing kidfurs and babyfurs than I am drawing adult furs.  Besides, Christmastime is full of magic and wonder for kids.  Yinny just wants to make VERY VERY sure her letter to Santa gets there, though whether this really happened in the character's backstory or whether it's just a dream or a daydream I can't say.\n\nThis was done in Paint Tool Sai with the exception of the starfield and the text on the sign and mailbox, which I made in GIMP.  This is 100% digital.  I imagined the house and pole but based the mailbox on our mailbox, outside our house.  (Except ours leans quite a bit to one side.  Someday we'll fix that.)\n\nYinny's outfits seem to be purple and black in most art I see of her in VayVay's gallery, but this is her as a child, and it's Christmas.  I wanted the letter to be green so it would show up against the mailbox, so I wanted at least some of her outfit to be green to match, and I figured that she probably has purple and black stuff under the winter coat.  Her pants are black.  And I made the backpack purple and black to make sure to keep that color scheme around.\n\nVayVay, I have a full-sized version of this that you can have; we can talk about that in notes.
