Story and character belong to

Alister and the others begin their push to stop Ommni once and for all. Before their able to face down the tyrant they must first push their way through his minions. Not everyone is able to make it and slowly our heroes begin to fall. For Alister he must overcome one of his greatest fears as Ommni puts Alister's will and drive to the test.

Is Alister strong enough to do what must be done?", "writing": "[center]Chapter 33[/center]\n\n[center]Alister[/center]\n\nAlister and the others had arrived at the falls, the passageway to the Grass Temple and the Plate it held. They had to defeat Ommni and Tusk and stop them from stealing their power. Up until now, Ommni had been a step ahead of them, always seeming to find a way to outsmart them. But there was no way he was going to win this, they had to win no matter what. Alister didn't ask to be a part of this battle but there was no one else around that could stop him. It had to be them no matter what. As they approached the falls, they were stopped by a group of Deserters, one of them being a Machoke wearing Templar armor. Alister recognized it as it was the same kind Sir Godfrey, and the others wore. The difference was that the Templar emblem had been scratched off. \n\n``Halt, you shall go no further,'' Machoke said, his arms crossed. ``All we require is the shaymin, give us she and no one has to get hurt.'' \n\n``As if!'' Delphine growls. ``It's you who should be running.'' \n\n``And who are you?'' Machoke asked. \n\n``I'm Delphine Doomtail, the Grim Reaper.'' Delphine snarls. ``Get in my way and I'll show you why they call me ``Reaper.''\n\nAlister stood behind the front lines, then Minccino and his friends were told to remain in the reserves. Alister didn't like that idea, but these were strong Pokemon whom they were facing. They were nothing like the bullies that he had fought back in the city. \n\n``I want a piece of that asshole,'' Alister grumbles. He didn't like having to stay behind like this but what other choice did he have? \n\n``This is no game,'' Basil says the Quilava puts a paw on his shoulder. \n\n``Yeah, what Basil says,'' Shawn says. Alister looked back at Chip, Hathor, and Cassius the trio were talking a bit among themselves. Alister then saw Meadow, she was seemly lost in her own world. He blinked a few times as he looked at it. Suddenly she falls over as if she passed out. \n\n``Meadow!'' Chip cries. \n\n``Huh?'' Delphine could be heard gasping in front of the lines. That's when Alister saw her get suckered punched by Machoke who took advantage of their confusion. Delphine falls back and Kira and Sir Godfrey get into a fight with the Machoke and his small group. Alister runs back to Chip and the others to see what had happened. He watched as Chip and Hathor were shaking Meadow trying to wake her up, but her eyes remained closed. Alister's paw balls into a fist. \n\n``We can't let them win.'' \n\n``We've got to get her to safety,'' Hathor says. Behind them Alister heard the fighting starting, both sides were engaged in an intense battle for Meadow. He turns around to see Kira and Sir Godfrey locked in a battle against Machoke and Hirayama. The fighting duo was easily reflecting and countering their attacks. Delphine was still on the ground recovering from Machoke's attack, her eyes were glued to Meadow and the others. \n\n``GET OUT OF HERE NOW!'' Delphine cries. She struggles to her paws and with a loud growl joins the fighting. Alister saw Cassius lift Meadow onto his back. \n\n``You heard her!'' Cassius creates a path of ice ahead of him and slides away. But Alister didn't run, his fist became tighter. He feels Basil shake him. \n\n``You heard him.'' \n\n``Like hell, I'm going to run.'' Alister snaps. ``We didn't ask for any of this! That bastard has been using us from the start, using me...'' Alister shakes his tail, the ring that he had accepted from Ommni shines. ``I'm going to use this power he gave me...and shove it up his ass. He's going to pay for using us like pawns in his sick game. Basil, Shawn...go with them. I'm going to help them fight.'' Before either of them could stop him Alister got on all four and raced over to the fight. He feels something quickly grab his waist and yank him back. Looking at his waist he saw that he had been bound by Shawn's vines.\n\n``Don't stop me - `` \n\n``I'm not stopping you.'' Shawn walks over to Alister and nuzzles him. ``I'm helping you no matter what.'' \n\n``Shawn?'' \n\n``I'm going to give you two such a spanking after this.'' Basil joins them. She kisses both boys on their heads. ``You better hope I don't use all of my energy to teach these guys a lesson.'' \n\n``Basil?'' Alister felt filled with determination seeing his friends stand by him. What would he do without them? Shawn puts him down. \n\n``We're a team, now let's show them why we're stronger when we're together,'' Alister says. Together they rush into the fray. Alister leaps up and crashes down on the nearest Deserter he could see knocking the Pokemon over. He watches as burning leaves follow behind him knocking over a few more Pokemon. \n\n``That's what I'm talking about!'' Alister yells. \n\nAs they get into the fight Alister watches as a few more Pokemon are blown away, Delphine was storming around the battlefield knocking out anyone who got in her way. As she approaches them Minccino feels her shadowy energy. \n\n``I told you to run.'' \n\n``No way, we're not running anymore,'' Alister says. He expected Delphine to yell at them again but instead, she smiled. ``A fine answer. Just don't get yourselves killed you hear me. And don't get in the way, if this gets out of paw, I want you to run. If you don't, I'll personally put you in the ground you hear.'' \n\n``All right.'' Alister looks at his friends and the pair nod at him. As they had a moment together, they heard the sounds of Kira and Sir Godfrey's battle against Machoke and Haiyama the battle was intense and sadly not going their way. Alister saw Kira thrown into Sir Godfrey and the pair are knocked onto their backs. \n\n``Oh no,'' Alister cries and runs over to them. \n\n``This is the power of a High Commander?'' Machoke laughs. ``You're a joke.'' \n\n``Yes, we were smart in ditching him.'' Hirayama picks up Kira, holding him by his neck. Alister launches himself at the Pokemon only to get smacked away. He skips along the ground landing face-first in the dirt. Alister looks up to see Delphine fighting back, the Ninetales uses her dark powers to fend him off. Hirayama drops Kira before starting to fight back. He throws out a series of slaps, his attacks miss her as she dodges them at the last moment. Finally, Delphine leaps up pouncing on the fighting Pokemon. Before she could finish him, she was smacked off by Machoke. \n\n``Here comes the pain!'' Machoke grabs Delphine and slams her onto the ground, burying her head in the dirt. He attempts to go for another throw but is stopped by Shawn's vines, the Bulbasaur was stronger than he appeared. His eyes had turned from red to green. \n\n``Get your mitts off her.'' Shawn pulls Machoke forward and Basil punches Machoke with a fiery fist knocking him back. \n\n``Alister now!'' Basil cries. \n\n``Right!'' Alister gets up and charges forward on all four slamming himself into Machoke's horns first knocking him off of his feet. He mounts himself on top of the fighting Pokemon and begins punching him, delivering blow after blow. His first glowed brightly as he charged his fist up before delivering a final blow. The ground cracked under Machoke; the impact was more than anyone saw coming. The fighting Pokemon didn't get back up.\n\n``Damn, that was cool.'' Shawn snickers. \n\n``That's my Alister.'' Basil races over picking up Minccino and hugging him. ``I know you could do it.'' \n\n``Thanks...'' Alister rubs his head. He looked at his paws, they had stopped glowing. He couldn't believe how strong he had become since the start of his journey. Was it the power of the ring or was this his own strength?\n\n~ Both. ~ Neo's presence bubbled into his mind. The Minccino saw the Jangmo-o appear next to him, the little dragon within was smiling. ~ Ommni's ring only assisted in releasing your inner strength. You are the reason that power is so great. Continue to believe in yourself and your friends and nothing will stop you. I'll always be here to assist you. ~ With that the dragon vanishes returning to their Soulscape. \n\nGetting off Machoke Alister turns to where Chip and the others had run off to Meadow. He sees Kira and Sir Godfrey slowly recover. \n\n``Damnit I can't believe I lost that trash.'' Sir Godfrey spits at Hirayama. ``What did Ommni feed these guys?''\n\n``Ommni has been experimenting with ways to make Pokemon stronger. We should expect more battles like this. Don't let your guard down.'' Kira says. ``Let's take this moment to recover before heading forward. We should expect more fights like this.'' \n\n``Right.'' Everyone agrees.\n\nAlister and the others regroup with Chip and the others a short distance away. They had been trying to wake up Meadow but the shaymin was out cold. Delphine puts a paw on Meadow's head. \n\n``Ommni has somehow trapped her in her own mind.'' Delphine sighs. ``Are there no lengths he won't go to get his way?'' \n\n``I'm sorry this happened to her,'' Kira says. ``I swear upon my title as High Commander, I will personally bring him to justice.'' \n\n``No...'' Delphine says looking at the Braixen. ``We will bring him to justice. If we try to do this alone, we'll fail. Ommni wants us to fight him alone, he's stronger that way. To defeat him we must work together.'' \n\n``Ommni fights alone, he doesn't trust nor believe in anyone else,'' Chip says. ``He only cares about himself and his own agenda. A bastard like him can't be allowed to win. He'll fight at all costs for his cause.''\n\n``Yes.'' Kira nods. ``Thank you for reminding me.'' \n\n``No one has ever succeeded at anything by being alone.'' Delphine brushes her paw against Kira's face. ``Even the High Commander must look to those around him to be great.'' \n\nAlister smiles as he listens to the older Pokemon speak. He feels a hug from Basil and Shawn. ``That goes for you too.'' Basil smiles. \n\n``That's right, we're a team.'' Shawn grins.\n\n``Yeah!'' Alister grins.\n\n``If we defeat Ommni we'll be able to save Meadow,'' Hathor says as she nuzzles Meadow. The shaymin lets out a little breath making the team sigh in relief. Delphine puts Meadow on her back. \n\n``Be careful out here, this is not a training trip. We're fighting against an opponent who is playing for keeps.'' Delphine says. ``They're waiting for us in those falls, our final battle is nearing so make sure you're ready.''\n\n'' That's right.'' Kira says. ``Gather your courage and let's go.''\n\nNo one could deny they were afraid, but fear would not hold them back any longer. Together they begin the walk up the falls. All around them, a feeling of dread was pushing back against them. It was Ommni's doing, he was trying to scare them. But fear would not control them anymore. They were fighting for more than power; they were fighting to protect those they cherished and loved. This was their fight, and they would not be denied their victory. \n\nNow was their time to shine.\n\nAs they reached the entrance to the chamber under the falls the group saw Ommni and Tusk standing near the door. They were inside a cavern, sunlight shined down from the rooftop. Ahead of them was a large door made from stone, caverns were on it with the leaf emblem on it. Alister felt his heart race as if it was just them there, no more minions to get in their way. Ommni's back was to the group, his hands were cupped behind him. Tusk stood facing them, the Nidoking was adored in armor. \n\n``How did you like my welcoming party?'' Tusk asked them. \n\n``They went down easily...just like you will.'' Sir Godfrey grumbles. ``I would ask you if you wanted to give up now but I know the answer.'' \n\n``What did you do to Meadow?'' Chip asked. Everyone looks at Ommni who remained staring at the door. \n\n``I simply gave her the release she wished for,'' Ommni says, his position never changing. ``Meadow never wanted to be here, but the responsibility placed upon her called for her to be what she isn't.'' Ommni's chuckle was dark. Alister felt himself becoming angry again.\n\n``You think your right!'' Alister challenges. ``You're just some coward! You're afraid of Meadow since you know she can kick your ass.'' \n\n``Is that what you believe Alister?'' Ommni asked. ``You gain a little bit of power and believe that you can take on the world. Foolish.'' Ommni's boney fingers flick around behind him. ``Your power is a product of mine, nothing more, nothing less. You should be groveling at my feet begging for more.'' Alister feels something cold press against him, and a feeling of dread slowly overcomes him. He falls onto his knees, and the Minccino holds himself for warmth. He looks around to see if anyone would respond but...no one seemed to notice. A fine mist covers the area and before Alister's eyes, everyone starts to vanish leaving only him and Ommni. \n\n``No one is here to help you, Alister,'' Ommni says, he turns his head a little bit to look at him. ``You're just a little tail lifter. The only thing your good at is being stuffed by your friend Shawn.'' \n\n``NO!'' Alister puts his paws on his head. ``GET OUT OF MY HEAD!''\n\n``Why? Didn't you want to fight me?'' Ommni smirks. ``Here's your chance, tail lifter.'' \n\n``Shawn...Shawn loves me.'' Alister pants. His head felt like it was on fire. He finds himself getting on all four, his tail lifting. ``What...what are you doing to...me.''\n\n``I'm going to give you what you want so much.'' Ommni snaps his hand and suddenly Shawn appears in front of Alister. \n\n``Shawn...'' \n\n``Alister...'' Shawn blinks. The saur soon smirks. ``You look good like that. You're where you belong.'' Shawn leans in close to Alister. ``Being my bitch.'' \n\n``No...what's... what's gotten into you?'' \n\n``Oh, nothing has gotten into me, but you want to know a little secret...'' Shawn uses a vine to rub Alister's face. ``You shouldn't worry about what's getting in me and more worried about what's getting in you.'' \n\n``Shawn...'' \n\n``That is what you wanted right Alister?'' Ommni laughs. ``You wanted to show Shawn whose boss. Well, here is your chance. You're going to have a domination battle. If you win then you're free to go, but if Shawn wins...he's going to make you his bitch for the rest of eternity.'' \n\n\"Why would you think that Shawn will follow you?\" Alister asked.\n\n\"Cause this is what I want to Alister,\" Shawn says as he walks a short distance away. He takes a seat a few feet from Alister. \"You ready for this Alister? You and me, a rematch of the century. Winner takes all.\" \n\n\"You don't know what you're saying.\" Alister gets up slowly. \"Your mind is being controlled.\" \n\n\"Is it?\" Shawn mocks. \"How would you know? Maybe this is what I've wanted. Its not like you've cared what I wanted.\" \n\n\"That's not true!\" Alister balls up his paw. \"I know I've not been the best friend you deserve and...I made you suffer. I never gave you a chance to express yourself and... I'm sorry for that Shawn.\" \n\n\"Alister...\" Shawn gasped. \"I-\" Shawn stops talking, and the Bulbasaur holds his head. \n\n\"You will fight,\" Ommni says from the background. Alister growls and starts racing over to the Alakazam, though as he closes the distance he's snatched by a vine and tripped up. Alister hits the ground hard, feeling the wind knock out of him. Before he could get up the male is reeled in by the Bulbasaur. \n\n``Shawn!'' Alister growls. ``Snap out of it!'' \n\n``I...'' Shawn shakes his head, the Bulbasaur was still in there, Ommni didn't have complete control of him. He just had to figure out a way to snap him out of it. It was then that Alister knew what he had to do. ``Let me go and I'll fight you. We'll settle this once and for all.'' Alister feels the vine pulled off him. As he gets up the Minccino knew he had to defeat Shawn, this was his big moment, the reason he accepted Ommni's power, the reason he went on this journey. All so he could face Shawn. He's rather it be under better conditions but...\n\nSome things in life you just had to do.\n\n``Excellent.'' Ommni laughed. ``Everything is happening as planned. Entertain me. Get your revenge, both of you. You both wanted this, a chance to face the other.'' \n\n``How about you shut up.'' Alister's eyes were on fire. ``After I save my friend, you and your brute are next. You're going to get what's coming to you. My fist, your face!'' \n\n``Please you can't beat me Alister,'' Shawn begins to circle around Alister, the Bulbasaur almost seemed like a hungry Mightyena corning its prey. ``Remember, your best is my worst.'' \n\n``We'll see.'' Alister didn't wait for Shawn to make the first move and moved in to attack his friend. He was going to have to put everything he had into this fight, anything less and he would lose. He dodged the first round of leaves shot at him, the Minccino nimbly dodged the attacks, jumping over the volley. Shawn was ready for him as he blocks his attacks with an extended vine. Alister


Alister and the others had arrived at the falls, the passageway to the Grass Temple and the Plate it held. They had to defeat Ommni and Tusk and stop them from stealing their power. Up until now, Ommni had been a step ahead of them, always seeming to find a way to outsmart them. But there was no way he was going to win this, they had to win no matter what. Alister didn't ask to be a part of this battle but there was no one else around that could stop him. It had to be them no matter what. As they approached the falls, they were stopped by a group of Deserters, one of them being a Machoke wearing Templar armor. Alister recognized it as it was the same kind Sir Godfrey, and the others wore. The difference was that the Templar emblem had been scratched off.

``Halt, you shall go no further,'' Machoke said, his arms crossed. ``All we require is the shaymin, give us she and no one has to get hurt.''

``As if!'' Delphine growls. ``It's you who should be running.''

``And who are you?'' Machoke asked.

``I'm Delphine Doomtail, the Grim Reaper.'' Delphine snarls. ``Get in my way and I'll show you why they call me ``Reaper.''

Alister stood behind the front lines, then Minccino and his friends were told to remain in the reserves. Alister didn't like that idea, but these were strong Pokemon whom they were facing. They were nothing like the bullies that he had fought back in the city.

``I want a piece of that asshole,'' Alister grumbles. He didn't like having to stay behind like this but what other choice did he have?

``This is no game,'' Basil says the Quilava puts a paw on his shoulder.

``Yeah, what Basil says,'' Shawn says. Alister looked back at Chip, Hathor, and Cassius the trio were talking a bit among themselves. Alister then saw Meadow, she was seemly lost in her own world. He blinked a few times as he looked at it. Suddenly she falls over as if she passed out.

``Meadow!'' Chip cries.

``Huh?'' Delphine could be heard gasping in front of the lines. That's when Alister saw her get suckered punched by Machoke who took advantage of their confusion. Delphine falls back and Kira and Sir Godfrey get into a fight with the Machoke and his small group. Alister runs back to Chip and the others to see what had happened. He watched as Chip and Hathor were shaking Meadow trying to wake her up, but her eyes remained closed. Alister's paw balls into a fist.

``We can't let them win.''

``We've got to get her to safety,'' Hathor says. Behind them Alister heard the fighting starting, both sides were engaged in an intense battle for Meadow. He turns around to see Kira and Sir Godfrey locked in a battle against Machoke and Hirayama. The fighting duo was easily reflecting and countering their attacks. Delphine was still on the ground recovering from Machoke's attack, her eyes were glued to Meadow and the others.

``GET OUT OF HERE NOW!'' Delphine cries. She struggles to her paws and with a loud growl joins the fighting. Alister saw Cassius lift Meadow onto his back.

``You heard her!'' Cassius creates a path of ice ahead of him and slides away. But Alister didn't run, his fist became tighter. He feels Basil shake him.

``You heard him.''

``Like hell, I'm going to run.'' Alister snaps. ``We didn't ask for any of this! That bastard has been using us from the start, using me...'' Alister shakes his tail, the ring that he had accepted from Ommni shines. ``I'm going to use this power he gave me...and shove it up his ass. He's going to pay for using us like pawns in his sick game. Basil, Shawn...go with them. I'm going to help them fight.'' Before either of them could stop him Alister got on all four and raced over to the fight. He feels something quickly grab his waist and yank him back. Looking at his waist he saw that he had been bound by Shawn's vines.

``Don't stop me -  ``

``I'm not stopping you.'' Shawn walks over to Alister and nuzzles him. ``I'm helping you no matter what.''

``Shawn?''

``I'm going to give you two such a spanking after this.'' Basil joins them. She kisses both boys on their heads. ``You better hope I don't use all of my energy to teach these guys a lesson.''

``Basil?'' Alister felt filled with determination seeing his friends stand by him. What would he do without them? Shawn puts him down.

``We're a team, now let's show them why we're stronger when we're together,'' Alister says. Together they rush into the fray. Alister leaps up and crashes down on the nearest Deserter he could see knocking the Pokemon over. He watches as burning leaves follow behind him knocking over a few more Pokemon.

``That's what I'm talking about!'' Alister yells.

As they get into the fight Alister watches as a few more Pokemon are blown away, Delphine was storming around the battlefield knocking out anyone who got in her way. As she approaches them Minccino feels her shadowy energy.

``I told you to run.''

``No way, we're not running anymore,'' Alister says. He expected Delphine to yell at them again but instead, she smiled. ``A fine answer. Just don't get yourselves killed you hear me. And don't get in the way, if this gets out of paw, I want you to run. If you don't, I'll personally put you in the ground you hear.''

``All right.'' Alister looks at his friends and the pair nod at him. As they had a moment together, they heard the sounds of Kira and Sir Godfrey's battle against Machoke and Haiyama the battle was intense and sadly not going their way. Alister saw Kira thrown into Sir Godfrey and the pair are knocked onto their backs.

``Oh no,'' Alister cries and runs over to them.

``This is the power of a High Commander?'' Machoke laughs. ``You're a joke.''

``Yes, we were smart in ditching him.'' Hirayama picks up Kira, holding him by his neck. Alister launches himself at the Pokemon only to get smacked away. He skips along the ground landing face-first in the dirt. Alister looks up to see Delphine fighting back, the Ninetales uses her dark powers to fend him off. Hirayama drops Kira before starting to fight back. He throws out a series of slaps, his attacks miss her as she dodges them at the last moment. Finally, Delphine leaps up pouncing on the fighting Pokemon. Before she could finish him, she was smacked off by Machoke.

``Here comes the pain!'' Machoke grabs Delphine and slams her onto the ground, burying her head in the dirt. He attempts to go for another throw but is stopped by Shawn's vines, the Bulbasaur was stronger than he appeared. His eyes had turned from red to green.

``Get your mitts off her.'' Shawn pulls Machoke forward and Basil punches Machoke with a fiery fist knocking him back.

``Alister now!'' Basil cries.

``Right!'' Alister gets up and charges forward on all four slamming himself into Machoke's horns first knocking him off of his feet. He mounts himself on top of the fighting Pokemon and begins punching him, delivering blow after blow. His first glowed brightly as he charged his fist up before delivering a final blow. The ground cracked under Machoke; the impact was more than anyone saw coming. The fighting Pokemon didn't get back up.

``Damn, that was cool.'' Shawn snickers.

``That's my Alister.'' Basil races over picking up Minccino and hugging him. ``I know you could do it.''

``Thanks...'' Alister rubs his head. He looked at his paws, they had stopped glowing. He couldn't believe how strong he had become since the start of his journey. Was it the power of the ring or was this his own strength?

~ Both. ~ Neo's presence bubbled into his mind. The Minccino saw the Jangmo-o appear next to him, the little dragon within was smiling. ~ Ommni's ring only assisted in releasing your inner strength. You are the reason that power is so great. Continue to believe in yourself and your friends and nothing will stop you. I'll always be here to assist you. ~ With that the dragon vanishes returning to their Soulscape.

Getting off Machoke Alister turns to where Chip and the others had run off to Meadow. He sees Kira and Sir Godfrey slowly recover.

``Damnit I can't believe I lost that trash.'' Sir Godfrey spits at Hirayama. ``What did Ommni feed these guys?''

``Ommni has been experimenting with ways to make Pokemon stronger. We should expect more battles like this. Don't let your guard down.'' Kira says. ``Let's take this moment to recover before heading forward. We should expect more fights like this.''

``Right.'' Everyone agrees.

Alister and the others regroup with Chip and the others a short distance away. They had been trying to wake up Meadow but the shaymin was out cold. Delphine puts a paw on Meadow's head.

``Ommni has somehow trapped her in her own mind.'' Delphine sighs. ``Are there no lengths he won't go to get his way?''

``I'm sorry this happened to her,'' Kira says. ``I swear upon my title as High Commander, I will personally bring him to justice.''

``No...'' Delphine says looking at the Braixen. ``We will bring him to justice. If we try to do this alone, we'll fail. Ommni wants us to fight him alone, he's stronger that way. To defeat him we must work together.''

``Ommni fights alone, he doesn't trust nor believe in anyone else,'' Chip says. ``He only cares about himself and his own agenda. A bastard like him can't be allowed to win. He'll fight at all costs for his cause.''

``Yes.'' Kira nods. ``Thank you for reminding me.''

``No one has ever succeeded at anything by being alone.'' Delphine brushes her paw against Kira's face. ``Even the High Commander must look to those around him to be great.''

Alister smiles as he listens to the older Pokemon speak. He feels a hug from Basil and Shawn. ``That goes for you too.'' Basil smiles.

``That's right, we're a team.'' Shawn grins.

``Yeah!'' Alister grins.

``If we defeat Ommni we'll be able to save Meadow,'' Hathor says as she nuzzles Meadow. The shaymin lets out a little breath making the team sigh in relief. Delphine puts Meadow on her back.

``Be careful out here, this is not a training trip. We're fighting against an opponent who is playing for keeps.'' Delphine says. ``They're waiting for us in those falls, our final battle is nearing so make sure you're ready.''

'' That's right.'' Kira says. ``Gather your courage and let's go.''

No one could deny they were afraid, but fear would not hold them back any longer. Together they begin the walk up the falls. All around them, a feeling of dread was pushing back against them. It was Ommni's doing, he was trying to scare them. But fear would not control them anymore. They were fighting for more than power; they were fighting to protect those they cherished and loved. This was their fight, and they would not be denied their victory.

Now was their time to shine.

As they reached the entrance to the chamber under the falls the group saw Ommni and Tusk standing near the door. They were inside a cavern, sunlight shined down from the rooftop. Ahead of them was a large door made from stone, caverns were on it with the leaf emblem on it. Alister felt his heart race as if it was just them there, no more minions to get in their way. Ommni's back was to the group, his hands were cupped behind him. Tusk stood facing them, the Nidoking was adored in armor.

``How did you like my welcoming party?'' Tusk asked them.

``They went down easily...just like you will.'' Sir Godfrey grumbles. ``I would ask you if you wanted to give up now but I know the answer.''

``What did you do to Meadow?'' Chip asked. Everyone looks at Ommni who remained staring at the door.

``I simply gave her the release she wished for,'' Ommni says, his position never changing. ``Meadow never wanted to be here, but the responsibility placed upon her called for her to be what she isn't.'' Ommni's chuckle was dark. Alister felt himself becoming angry again.

``You think your right!'' Alister challenges. ``You're just some coward! You're afraid of Meadow since you know she can kick your ass.''

``Is that what you believe Alister?'' Ommni asked. ``You gain a little bit of power and believe that you can take on the world. Foolish.'' Ommni's boney fingers flick around behind him. ``Your power is a product of mine, nothing more, nothing less. You should be groveling at my feet begging for more.'' Alister feels something cold press against him, and a feeling of dread slowly overcomes him. He falls onto his knees, and the Minccino holds himself for warmth. He looks around to see if anyone would respond but...no one seemed to notice. A fine mist covers the area and before Alister's eyes, everyone starts to vanish leaving only him and Ommni.

``No one is here to help you, Alister,'' Ommni says, he turns his head a little bit to look at him. ``You're just a little tail lifter. The only thing your good at is being stuffed by your friend Shawn.''

``NO!'' Alister puts his paws on his head. ``GET OUT OF MY HEAD!''

``Why? Didn't you want to fight me?'' Ommni smirks. ``Here's your chance, tail lifter.''

``Shawn...Shawn loves me.'' Alister pants. His head felt like it was on fire. He finds himself getting on all four, his tail lifting. ``What...what are you doing to...me.''

``I'm going to give you what you want so much.'' Ommni snaps his hand and suddenly Shawn appears in front of Alister.

``Alister...'' Shawn blinks. The saur soon smirks. ``You look good like that. You're where you belong.'' Shawn leans in close to Alister. ``Being my bitch.''

``No...what's... what's gotten into you?''

``Oh, nothing has gotten into me, but you want to know a little secret...'' Shawn uses a vine to rub Alister's face. ``You shouldn't worry about what's getting in me and more worried about what's getting in you.''

``Shawn...''

``That is what you wanted right Alister?'' Ommni laughs. ``You wanted to show Shawn whose boss. Well, here is your chance. You're going to have a domination battle. If you win then you're free to go, but if Shawn wins...he's going to make you his bitch for the rest of eternity.''

"Why would you think that Shawn will follow you?" Alister asked.

"Cause this is what I want to Alister," Shawn says as he walks a short distance away. He takes a seat a few feet from Alister. "You ready for this Alister? You and me, a rematch of the century. Winner takes all."

"You don't know what you're saying." Alister gets up slowly. "Your mind is being controlled."

"Is it?" Shawn mocks. "How would you know? Maybe this is what I've wanted. Its not like you've cared what I wanted."

"That's not true!" Alister balls up his paw. "I know I've not been the best friend you deserve and...I made you suffer. I never gave you a chance to express yourself and... I'm sorry for that Shawn."

"Alister..." Shawn gasped. "I-" Shawn stops talking, and the Bulbasaur holds his head.

"You will fight," Ommni says from the background. Alister growls and starts racing over to the Alakazam, though as he closes the distance he's snatched by a vine and tripped up. Alister hits the ground hard, feeling the wind knock out of him. Before he could get up the male is reeled in by the Bulbasaur.

``Shawn!'' Alister growls. ``Snap out of it!''

``I...'' Shawn shakes his head, the Bulbasaur was still in there, Ommni didn't have complete control of him. He just had to figure out a way to snap him out of it. It was then that Alister knew what he had to do. ``Let me go and I'll fight you. We'll settle this once and for all.'' Alister feels the vine pulled off him. As he gets up the Minccino knew he had to defeat Shawn, this was his big moment, the reason he accepted Ommni's power, the reason he went on this journey. All so he could face Shawn. He's rather it be under better conditions but...

Some things in life you just had to do.

``Excellent.'' Ommni laughed. ``Everything is happening as planned. Entertain me. Get your revenge, both of you. You both wanted this, a chance to face the other.''

``How about you shut up.'' Alister's eyes were on fire. ``After I save my friend, you and your brute are next. You're going to get what's coming to you. My fist, your face!''

``Please you can't beat me Alister,'' Shawn begins to circle around Alister, the Bulbasaur almost seemed like a hungry Mightyena corning its prey. ``Remember, your best is my worst.''

``We'll see.'' Alister didn't wait for Shawn to make the first move and moved in to attack his friend. He was going to have to put everything he had into this fight, anything less and he would lose. He dodged the first round of leaves shot at him, the Minccino nimbly dodged the attacks, jumping over the volley. Shawn was ready for him as he blocks his attacks with an extended vine. Ommni believed that he was in control, that he could use all of them like they were his puppets. ``We'll beat that ass hole one way or another.''

``Alister.'' Shawn's eyes were filled with tears. ``I feel him, trying to make me hurt you. I -  ``

``Your stronger than him, fight it!'' Alister leans in and brushes a paw against Shawn's face. He felt Shawn relax, the saur shakes his head.''

``Gets out of my head!'' Shawn closes his eyes. He was fighting against Ommni's control. Alister hears Ommni let out a cry.

``You...you can't fight me! I'm Ommni and I'm unbeatable!'' Ommni was holding his own head with one hand, the other was charging more dark energy. Alister knew that Shawn could win this, he could fight off Ommni. Leaning in the kisses his friend again, rubbing himself against his chest. His member was slipping out of his sheath. ``As if, you got lucky.'' Ommni pants. He smirks as he gets up. ``This is only the beginning. You might have saved your little friend but the others...what about them. Tusk should be having a fun time destroying them as we speak. Unlike me, he's not playing mind games.'' The mist that Ommni had created began fading away and to Alister's horror, he saw that Kira, Sir Godfrey, and Hathor were laying on the ground hurt. It was only Chip and Cassius fighting against Tusk now.

``Oh no!'' Alister tries to run to help them but feels himself smack against an invisible wall. ``What's going on?''

``That's not your fight to have.'' Ommni laughs. You have first-row sets to watch the demise of your little friends. Suffer!''

``Oh no...'' Alister cries as he bangs against the wall. He could do was watch as his friends fought for their lives.

``You wish to deny me Alister'' Ommni chuckles. ``Deep down you only care about power, your friends me nothing to you.''

``Lies!'' Alister growls. ``My friends mean the world to me.''

``Do they now.'' Ommni snickers. The Alakazam walks towards him and Shawn. ``Then why do you fight so hard to gain power? I felt it when I entered your mind more than once. Your Omen, do you know what it represents?''

``It represents me! It represents the valor that lives within me.'' Alister felt Ommni's dark presence pushing against his mind, against his will. He had to fight it off at all costs.

``It represents power. Your lust for it, your desire for more. I've given you a taste of real power in the form of that ring I gave you.'' Ommni points to the ring on Alister's tail. Alister had felt it give him power from time to time but when it wasn't doing anything it just looked good. As Ommni points it out to him he felt something stir inside of him as if awakening.

Alister takes a closer look at the ring and is surprised to find that its surface was made of obsidian, with elegant designs cared around it. For some odd reason, he never looked at it closely like this before. On one side there was a symbol resembling an eye, it was surrounded by stars. On the other side, there were small runes that formed the words, `Omnis Vestibulum' which he didn't know the meaning of. As he touched the ring, he felt whatever was inside of him calling out to him. He couldn't understand what it was, at least not yet.

``That ring means, ``All Power,'' Ommni says. ``I crafted this with my own dark powers. For power breeds more power. Only one who seeks power can make use of this ring. The fact that you've found useful from it -  ``

``I've had enough of this!'' Alister takes a swing at Ommni, and he flew straight at the Alakazam who slaps him out of the way and trips him up. Alister falls forward but is saved by Shawn who catches him.

``You're not in this alone.''

``Thanks.'' Alister looks at Ommni who scratches his beard.

``I see, so you've made your choice than Alister. Alas, I do not have time to continue wasting with you. You have potential, the only thing holding you back is your silly love for your friends.'' Ommni looks at Shawn.

``He beat you!'' Alister points at Ommni whose eye twitch.

``Silence, that was a moment of weakness, don't expect it to happen again. For now, I have more important matters to attend to.'' Alister then hears screaming from the other side of the cavern.

``GUYS!''

``So weak, all one can depend on is themselves. This is a lesson you must learn...the hard way.'' With that Ommni snaps his fingers and vanishes into thin air. All Alister could do was stand and watch as his friend continue to fight for their lives on the other side. They had to win...they just had to.
