Some old pictures involving Chip and some of his misadventure partners with this one being about him and the Beautifly Krystal. Chip and Krystal fight one another in a battle where Chip accidently tears one of her wings crippling her....

Chip couldn't believe his luck, he wasn't just matched up today against any old opponent, no he was matched up with Rising Star Krystal the Beautifly who has been on a winning streak since the spring time and she didn't seem to have a match up so far that she struggled much in. Chip wanted to establish himself as a force to be reconned with, the Zorua was on his own winning streak having won his last three matches straight and now they wanted him to take on this monster of the battlefield. How could he possibly beat her...
"Someone looks like they want to shake in their fur." Chip's mind snaps back to reality as his mentor and honestly boyfriend Zephyr spoke to the Zorua before his match. Chip was standing just inside of the waiting room of Unity Arena, the crowd was roaring outside as they were getting hyped for the next match. The Zorua feels his Sylveon partner brush his head fur. Chip found himself starting to purr like a kitten....until he felt something pinch his butt...
"HEY!" Chip jumps forward the fox grumbles as he looks at his boyfriend. "I'm not a piece of meat."
"No your not a piece of meat, just a cutie." Zephyr puts a ribbon over his mouth. "A cutie who needs to take a moment to relax since he's getting all tense before his big match."
"Do you have to be annoying?" Chip sighs, he feels his boyfriend's feelers grab hold of his waist and pulled him off of his four paws. He holds him close to him and gives the Zorua a kiss on his paw, the pair share a long moment together before the Sylveon sets him back down. "I will say it again...do you have to be annoying?"
Chip feels Zephyr set him down, the Sylveon kisses him on the head. "Yes I have to be annoying my sweet little cutie. Someone needs to take care of you."
"I can take care of myself--" Chip began explaining himself though hears the announcer call his name from outside. The Zorua looks at the Sylveon who blew him a kiss. "Knock her dead Chip. She might have the type match up but you can hold your own if you remember one thing...dodge."
"Dodge..." Chip nods. "Alright!" With that the Zorua heads out into the area to face down the Beautifly...
The match was alot harder than the Zorua expected as Krystal pinned him down time and time again with her long range attacks. The battlefield was on top of a grassy plain with a few trees and bushes littering the field. Chip was able to use the environment from time to dodge some of the moth's attacks though she knew how to get around the protection and hit him where it hurts. Before long the Zorua was hiding behind a tree, wind was blowing from the other side of it leaving behind silvery dust in its wake.
"I can't...do anything..."
"Give it up Chip..." Krystal yelled from the other side of the tree, when Chip looked around it to find her he saw the moth's arms were crossed, her silvery dust floated down from where she floated and a look in the Pokemon's eyes told Chip that she was enjoying herself very, very much. "I mean I'm having fun at her expense but a girl can only do this for so long before she gets bored. Just accept that L already so we both can go do something better than stroking each other off."
"What kind of taunt is that?" Chip closed his eyes and pictured himself getting in just enough to surprise her. He could do it if he put his mind to it. Digging his paws into the dirt the Zorua rushed out from behind the tree and began racing towards the moth, he saw her look surprised as she wasn't ready for him to put an offense on against her. He slides under where she floated, his mouth glowing a shadowy color.
"I'm not scared of you." Chip launched his attack at her, the shadow energy smacks against the moth knocking her backwards though she remained floating. Chip closed the gab though is blown back by Krystal's wings as the beat them several times kicking up a nasty wind to get him off of her. Chip slammed against the tree trunk, he slides onto the ground and rolls onto his back, his stomach exposed. Looking up he saw Krystal floating above him a smile on her face.
"Awww look at the little fox...you want the pain to stop?"
"Can you shut up..." Chip growls. "Your voice is so annoying."
"If my voice is so annoying..." Chip saw the moth's wings starting to rapidly beat...the next thing he heard was a nasty screeching noise. Chip felt like his ears were going to bleed, his mind felt like it was being blown away and it felt like there was nothing he could do to stop it.
"I can't..." Chip rolls onto his back, his ears folded down. Looking up he saw that Krystal was slowly floating down, the moth was confident that she couldn't lose. He leaps up at her grabbing onto her wing and....
"AAAAHHHHH!!!"
Chip and Krystal fall onto the ground, his paws were covered in something wet. He couldn't believe his eyes as when he managed to finally regain enough focus to see what happened...that warm, sticky, wet feeling...
"Is this...is this..." Chip looks over at Krystal who was passed out on the ground near him. He tried to get up...to see her...to see...that wing? There was a large tear in Krystal's wing...it was torn almost in two. His vision became black and darkness over took him.
Chip woke up several hour later in the hospital, the Zorua was laying on his stomach in a bed, an IV was attached to him giving the fox much needed fluids. His body was in pain and he couldn't believe that only a few hours ago he was fighting against his toughest opponent to date. Krystal...wait where was she now, her wing....
Chip looks at his paws and saw that they were clean now, there was no blood on them, nothing at all but the fur that he loved so much. Taking a deep breath the Zorua tried to figure out that to do next...that was until he heard the sound of something or better yet someone speaking to him.
"You finally woke up, good."
"Huh...Ri...Ribbon?" Chip noticed the white coat of the Alolan Vulpix sitting in a cushion not far from him. Racing over to him from the next room was the barking of the overly friendly Darious the Rockruff jumps onto Chip bed and begins licking his face over and cover again.
"Hey!"
"Oh my god I'm so happy to see you, so happy!!!" Darious cries. "Chip you had all of us so worried for you."
"He's right...mon that doesn't sound right being said in the same sentence...Darious...and being right." Ribbon walks over to the bed side and sits down. "The doctor said that needed alot of rest, your body was exhausted after that last fight...I mean you could have sustained worst damage if you didn't manage to end the fight when you did. What were you thinking?"
"I wanted to win..." Chip lays in the bed his head was in so much pain. The Zorua feels his body being pressed against as Darious was holding onto him.
"I was so worried about you!" Darious howls.
"Darious...."
"Yes?"
"Let me go..." Chip pushes against the Rockruff though Darious held him tighter.
"No! I don't want to see you get hurt again."
"He's right, you did put yourself in harms way out there." Ribbon said. "You went too hard."
"I wanted to win...whats wrong with wanting to win?" Chip asked "You two do it all the time."
"Yes but we know when to stop too. Chip the doctor said that your lucky you are not more damaged...Krystal was holding back."
"No...." Chip couldn't believe what he was hearing. He thought back to his fight and remembered how the moth had been toying with him. He tries to get up again but feels Darious hold him rightly.
"Nnoooo...!!!"
"Darious!" It wasn't Ribbon who spoke up but instead was...Krystal.
"Its the Beautifly!" Darious lets go of Chip and jumps in between him and Krystal. Ribbon gets in between them.
"Down boy."
"I'm a good boy..." Darious's ears droop for a moment. "Ribbon we have to protect Chip."
"I'm not here to hurt him..." Krystal was holding herself, her wing was still torn though there was some bandages on it. Ribbon was alot like Darious she didn't move from in between them. "I...I need to talk to Chip."
"What about?" Ribbon says her eyes never leaving the moth.
"I want to talk to Chip about our fight, he is tougher than pictured and....I want to thank him for our fight." Krystal spoke. Chip couldn't take his eyes away from her. He soon nods and speaks to his friends.
"Guys...can we have a moment." Chip smiles. "Hey why not get us some good food, I mean I've been here before and this food kind of sucks."
"Your right..." Ribbon smirks.
"What you think it sucks...but its so good when you put enough hot sauce on it." Darious grumbles. "And what if this moth wants to hurt you."
"I'll be alright, Krystal is one of our classmates, she wants talk and...I want to spend some time with her."
"Oh Chip...I think you've been around my brother too long, your starting to sound alot like him." Ribbon sighs.
"Wait are you trying to get laid? He's trying to get his dick wet right?" Darious asked. Chip watched Ribbon yank on the male and pull him away. "Aaaahhhh!"
"Come on your hound dog, you can buy me some ice cream."
"Aaaahhh....why? Oh...because your an ice type?"
"No because I like cream you idiot!" Ribbon growls.
"Oh I know you do. In and around your mouth." Chip heard Darious snicker. The thunderous sound of something being hit made the Zorua put his paws over his ears. He noticed Krystal sitting on his bed, her cheeks red.
"First off...I'm sorry about your wing--"
"Don't....there is not need to feel sorry for me. It comes with the job...I know what I was getting into when I became a fighter. It'll be awhile before my wing is fully healed, which means that I'm out of a "job" for the time being.
"I'm so sorry..."
"I said don't be..." Krystal's cheeks become darker. "Chip I respect you alot and our fight was very fun. I want to show you how much I enjoyed it...if you'll let me. You don't have to say or do anything..."
Chip feels Krystal take his paw...
