In the region of Unity there is a yearly tournament held to see who was worth enough to be part of that year's league challenge, Pokemon from all over the region and even the world enters for a chance to find fame and glory under the city-wide tournament, Battle City. Alister a young Minccino-Absol aka Minsol entered the tournament for a chance to ultimately move on to the next phase of that year's league challenge. His first day of competition Alister defeated his first opponent in a heart racing match that ended last hit situation. He had won but was mildly injured in the fight and had to recover before being allowed to fight once again. The next day Alister won his second match and was nearing enough wins to be able to advance to the next phase if he could win his next two to three matches. He was only allowed to lose once if he wished to still finish in the top 64 entrants.
That afternoon Alister traveled through Unity Park, he was sure that he could find his next fight here if he looked hard enough. A win here would allow him to be able to rest for the rest of the day and then he could pick it back up tomorrow. He was already thinking of what he could do for the afternoon, maybe he'll take a dip in the hot springs back at the Inn and then after that go to the buffet they were serving for the remaining entrants. Then there was the pool party take place this evening...
Alister's mind returns to reality as he heard a bush shaking nearby. Before he could investigate it...barked back at him.
"Huh what was that?" Alister questioned.
"Oh? Its a new friend, a new friend!" Something came charging out of the pushes knocking Alister over, the Minsol felt all of the air in his lungs being pushed out as something was standing over top of him. Looking up he noticed a dog standing on top of it, it was small, a little plump and was very yellow almost like those rodent Pokemon Pikachu. Alister and Angel began by trading blows the pair of Pokemon hit the other with their most physical attacks possible. Angel was surprisingly faster and more agile than Alister believed him to be, the puppy was able to dodge Alister’s big attacks and he knew how to defend himself against Alister’s weaker but faster attacks. At one-point Angel even flipped Alister off of his paws and onto his back though he didn’t pursue but instead shakes his butt at him.
