Story and Characters by me
In preparation for Bangam University a soft reboot to the Bangam series experience the backstory to several of the popular and most memorable characters in the series. Ruby and Radiance fox lovers and ultra powerful legendary Pokemon in disguise. Experience their story leading up to their wedding day and find out why Ruby and Radiance gave up their great power in exchange for a second chance at life.
Wedding Day:
Ruby was shaking as she waited for her chance to walk down the aisle, she could not believe that she was truly doing this. How did she let Radiance talk her into marriage of all things, the night when the Eevee asked for her paw in marriage was... surprising? Why would Radiance who was at one time her moral enemy was now asking to become her wife. Ruby at first did not know what to say and denied Radiance telling her that she didn't think this was proper. Radiance took it better than she expected and backed off with a smiling.
"There is no one else who will understand you like I do. Who can be with you like me." Radiance bows and simply goes back to what she was doing before she decided to break this proposal to her. Ruby was confused but went along with it not thinking much else. It was not until several weeks later when the two went out to eat in Unity City did Radiance ask her once again this time putting her proposal amulet inside of the bottle of wine they were enjoying. Ruby found it harder to say no as the sun was setting in the background, the city lights were turning on and the pair of foxes were entering the realm of a romantic evening. Radiance surprisingly had gotten on the floor, her head low as she was bowing to Ruby.
"Radiance? What are you doing?" Ruby looks around, she felt hot under the collar, she did not like being put on the spot like this. Why was Radiance doing this? Wasn't she a robot?
"Ruby I...I love you." Radiance blushed, the Eevee seemed just as nervous as her. Where were these emotions coming from? Ruby knew that her mate...no, no she was not her mate. They only shared a home together, raised their kits together and basically shared a nest. But that did not mean they were mates. But more importantly Radiance never displayed alot of emotions, she as always so cold and calculated, her mind was focused on her magical studies and nothing else. Why would she be interested in her like this? Sure, they cared for the other but she always though it was just because Radiance loved to fuck. Ruby found it hard to say no though, she was shaking under the table, her paws rubbing one another.
"Radiance...don't do this to me. Please don't play with my heart."
"Play with your heart?" Radiance looked confused as she looks up at her. "Yes, this is odd for me too, to be sitting here like this. You do not think that this is rough for me too, to be this exposed, vulnerable...but I'm doing this because I do love you." Radiance spoke, she lets out a bit sigh.
"Really? Do you genuinely love me?" Ruby gasped. "Where...where did this come from?"
"Well when I became an Eevee I began seeing the world in a different light. Yes, I'm still focused on my studies but...you give me something else to love and focus on other than my studies. I cannot see myself with anyone else but you..."
That was several months ago. Looking back, she wondered if she made the right decision. She looked to her side and noticed Coco standing next to her, the silver coat eevee with slightly gold secondary fur on his mane giggled.
"I can't believe I get to give you away; this is so wonderful." Coco jumps up and down happily. "Every father looks forward to the day he gets to walk his daughter down the aisle. Of all my creations you are the most unique of them all. The light of hope that shall spread my influence all over the world." Coco puffs out his chest proudly. Ruby smiled and looks away, she was wearing the kimono that was given to her by Coco, the Eevee had spent a long-time hand crafting. She wanted to wear the one that her and Radiance always wore during their tea sessions, but Radiance insisted that today be special and someway different.
"Coco...do you have to be the one to give me away. I mean yes, my dad but...no one here is going to know that. I mean you look as young as I do."
"And? I am your father, one of the five elder legionaries and one of the three creation Pokemon. I gave birth to you, literally laid there, and pushed your egg out of me. You were my first." The Eevee purred. "Mon I couldn't help but stroke one off when I was pushing you out of me."
"TMI!!!" Ruby grumbled, her cheeks were dark red. "I don't need to know from my father that he couldn't help but get his rocks off while laying my egg. Sheesh should I call you daddy or mommy?" Ruby smirked.
"Daddy!" Coco snubbed.
"Of course." Ruby smirked. "Is that what you say to Zaza? I mean he is a fabulous Altaria now and days. Alot different than the guardian of the sky."
"Don't talk about my dark lord like that." Coco and Ruby heard music playing, and they knew what time it was. "Don't think about it too hard. Our family is unique as it is."
"Very." Ruby smiled. "Might not mean much but...thanks for being there for me. Well...least when you weren’t in a deep slumber."
"We made alot of mistakes in the past. The biggest was starting a war over something silly. I like to think this unique is more than just between you and Radiance. But is also mending the ties between Dolphus and myself." Coco nuzzled the Vulpix.
"Now let’s go..."
