Part 2 of the story of Ruby and Radiance as cute cherry blossom girls. The pair end up making passionate love after talking to one another about their futures together. Ruby the emotional Pokemon finds herself being upset that their house hold is quiet now that all of their children are gone. But Radiance doesn't mind quenching her worries, the nice thing about being herm girls is that they can easily fix their empty nest problems together.
Backstory of the War of Ideals:
Ruby and Radiance were once the High General and High Commander of Arceus and Giratini. Ruby was a Mew while Radiance was a Diancie, both were the first creation of both Arceus and Giratini. Arceus used the blue print from making Ruby to create many other Pokemon and he ended up being named the "Creation King." He used his power to create all the Pokemon of Unity, established law and order and created the seat of power on top of Mt. Justice. Much of this discovery and power can be linked back to the creation of Ruby, the first Pokemon.
Giratini used the knowledge he had gained from making Radiance and brought forth magic into the land. He created several large crystals throughout Unity and the world at large bringing forth a age of magic and creation. Giratini ended up being named, "Lord of Magic" as he was the Pokemon of Magic. These crystals hold some of the knowledge gained during the creation of Radiance, the first magical being.
Through their work Dittos were created, the remnants of both creation and magic. Dittos are able to use their strange transformation ability to influence the creation of other Pokemon and their essence has been used to help breed new Pokemon even when both parents might be of the same sex. Their power can temporary transform one or both users into herm Pokemon.
But neither Ruby nor Radiance need the help of ditto essence, seeing as they are already herms themselves. The girls forever linked together as the first. They discovered the world together and always held a close bond, though war and strife would test their bonds of love and friendship.
Many, many years and generations after the creation of Unity war broke out between Arceus and Giratini over the fair use of magic. Giratini believed that magic was for all Pokemon to use, free of use. Arceus believed that magic was dangerous and should be limited in use, least of which allowed to be used for creativity. To Arceus creativity led to wicked ideals. Giratini was for some limitations but the limitations that his old friend demanded would literally kill all magical advancement and use entirely and as such a battle between them broke out. Ruby and Radiance were forced to choose sides and soon had to face off against one another. In the end Radiance defeated her best friend and took her captive, not to turn her in but to keep her safe.
Radiance used Ruby's DNA to further her research into transformation magic and was able to discover a way to permanently transform one's body into that of another. After the war had ended and with the help of Tabitha the Pokemon of Life she was able to create a potion that transformed both her and Tabitha into an Eevee and Deerling. The affects were not perfect at first but it did work out. Ultimately Radiance choose to live her life as an Eevee and she let Ruby go though not without asking her to stay with her. Ruby refused and left to figure out how to live in a post Arceus and Giratini world.
Many years and several hundred letters later Radiance uses her magic to trap Ruby in the body of a Vulpix. The Diancie-turned-Eevee saw how miserable her old friend was. Ruby had commitment issues and over the course of her life ran from everyone that could make her happy. She knew that she could finally break that cycle and choose to do so. Was her methods, right? Maybe not. But Ruby was the only Pokemon that she loved and if trapping her in the body for a Vulpix and domesticating her was wrong.... she didn't plan to be right anytime soon.
