Third and final part of Training Day, the short of where we follow our favorite police dog Axel who is transitioning over to guild work. He has met the interesting and mysterious Princess a Nidoran Female who has been assigned his teammate by Guild Master Casper aka Uncle Casper. Princess likes toying with Axel and states that she is a lesbian but she seems to have a thing for Axel despite. Princess challenges Axel to a friendly game of Pokeball where both sides try to score by putting a ball into a basket. Simple right?
So after writing this entire thing out I realized I didn't even write about the picture itself. But I like what I wrote much more. Please enjoy the art for what it is.

Axel grumbles as he didn't know why he was being silly and going through with Princess's challenge. This was suppose to be his day off and yet here he was, jobless since if his Uncle had actually gone through and sent in Axel's letter of termination he had no other place to go now. Who gets fired on their day off? But more so he now had to deal with Princess who issued him a silly challenge and if he backed down then where would his pride be? Though should he win he'll get to do what he wanted with his strange new partner who seemed a little open to many different ideas. Axel secretly had a thing for Nidoran's, male and female, both were equally cute and from what he's seen were down right ready to do anything you asked. Though you had to get around their strange stamina reserves and great strength. Though this wasn't a battle of strength but of getting a ball into the other's goal, this was a challenge of speed which was something Axel wasn't afraid to show off.
"You ready to do this thing." Axel asked the Nido.
"Funny I was going to ask you the same thing." Princess smiles. "Rules are simple, there is only one ball and we both have to fight for it. Take the ball and score in the other's goal zone."
"Ya, ya I know how this works. Believe it or not but use dogs are pretty good at this game." Axel proudly says. He hears clapping from Princess, the Nidoran pretends to yawn.
"Oh do you want a bone boy? You can play fetch good for you."
"Its not fetch!" Axel looks at the ball sitting on top of a small table and quickly snatches it up racing for the other side where Princess's goal was. As he nears it the dog feels something grab his hindleg causing him to fall flap on his face. Princess was a short distance away the ground where her paws saw had cracks running from it.
"Wh-what did you do?"
"If you want to be a guild Pokemon then you need to learn not to judge your opponents by the way they look or believe that you are superior to them before engaging them in battle." Princess shifts her paws on the ground and the ground shook causing the ball to roll back towards her. She gently picks up the ball and walks it over to Axel's goal and scores as she puts it in. Axel watches at Princess puts the ball back in the center and returns to her starting spot.
"Are you going to lay there looking like you want to already give up or are you going to get up and do something 'police dog?'"
"...." The Growlithe gets up, his pride was hurt but he'll get over it. "Lets do this thing."
"Good, I would hate to win this in a sweep, what fun is there in playing a game if its completely one sided. I want to see how you adjust, we're going to be partners after all."
The next round starts and it was Princess this time who took the ball first, the Nidoran grabs it and races for Axel's goal though this time it was him making the big stop as he gets in her way by knocking her over, the pair hit the ground and the dog picks up the ball and races for the other goal. He was met by a similar obstacle as Princess shakes the ground again but he dodges the impact by leaping over the ground under him exploding, rubble falls everywhere though he didn't stop until he reached the goal putting the ball into it.
They were not 1-1
"You see that!"
"You adjusted quickly, not bad." Princess smirks while walking back to her starting spot. "Don't forget to reset the ball."
"What why do I have to do that? Your the one who got scored on."
"Because Axel the one who scored takes care of the other by resetting the ball." Princess says as the dog does as he's told and puts the ball back in the starting spot. "Good boy."
"That's not funny!"
"Maybe not to you." Princess waves for Axel to make the first move, the pair were going back in forth in who gets to start.
Axel and Princess go on like this for the next hour, both of them going back and forth scoring with neither getting the lead over the other for very long and before long it was 4-4 with Princess being the last one to score. Axel by the end of it was tired, even with his police training he never felt this worn out. Princess looked like she was still warming up.
"How are you not...tired?" Axel asked, the pup was struggling to not look at the dirt, a puddle of sweat under him.
"Though I've not been in the guild for long I spent our years at Bangam training for this moment when I did join." Princess sets the ball back on the platform for their last round. "You've kept up nicely that police training did you some good it seems."
"Police...guards...we're suppose to be the best and--"
"And yet here stands the guild Pokemon who are a notch above you're lot." Princess doesn't return to her spot instead steps in front of Axel, she puts a paw on his head petting him. "Us guild Pokemon have to be tough, we're the ones going beyond these city limits to protect not just our city but the region. The fact that your Uncle see's something in you and wants you to be apart of this means something. Plus...you actually get real time off."
Axel pushes Princess's paw off his head. "I'm not your pet." Axel looks at the ball and pushes Princess aside. "Your training didn't prepare you for that hu--" Axel trips over a large rock and falls onto his face inches from the ball. Looking back he saw that the rock had been summoned from the ground by the Nidoran.
"How did you do that?"
"I did a small version of this same move during out opener." The Nidoran rolls her eyes as she walks by to pick up the ball. "You never show your best hand at the start unless you are confident that your opponent has no means of countering you." She takes the ball to the goal though is stopped as a tower of fire circles the scoring point. Princess didn't look surprised in fact she looked impressed as Axel gets up to face her.
"If you want to score that you're going to have to knock me out."
"I do not have to knock you out Axel, only let your guard down just long enough." Princess sets the ball back on the platform and then spits a needle at Axel who just dodges it. The dog returns the jester by blowing a stream at fire at the Nido who ducks under the attack and then leaps at Axel kicking him in the face. The growlithe falls back and Princess spits more needles at him this time hitting her mark as Axel lets out a cry of pain.
"Why do you keep...doing that." Axel pulls the needle out, a few drops of purple liquid ooze out.
"Us poison types are not given enough credit for our capabilities." Princess licks her claws, they glisten from her saliva. "A nidoran's poison is very potent, we can fell a foe with little effort. Our biggest issue is that we're so small that sometimes its challenging for us to get in to deliver a strike. So I learned how to get in via different means and now that my poison has met its mark...
Axel felt his limbs become numb, he falls onto his face as his paws felt too heavy to move. "This is bullshit!"
"Is it?" Princess smiles as she picks up the ball and scores the last goal. She then returns and sits next to the puppy. "Always make sure you get what you came for BEFORE gloating or doing any extended talking." Princess chuckles, she puts a paw on Axel's head. "The dose I gave you only last about two or three minutes which would have been the extent of our little conversation."
"...."
"Look your Uncle didn't assign you to me, I choose to be your teammate. You was always interesting back in school and I've seen you around town doing your rounds...you look miserable."
"I wasn't miserable!"
"Look give the guild a chance you might just like it. If you don't your Uncle can get you back on the force. I promise to be a good teammate for you though Axel." Princess pets him again and despite how much Axel wanted to swat her paw away he can't, at least not yet he can't. But it felt...nice, it felt nice to be petted.
"Maybe one day you'll be able to beat me."
"...." Axel grumbles. "IF I wasn't so numb I'd bite you right now."
"And then I'll bite you back." Princess giggles.
Later Axel and Princess eat dinner together out in town, the Nidoran didn't mention their arrangement despite her taking the W. Axel did try to bring it up but Princess pretended to not pay attention to it at first but she addresses it after eating.
"It was our first time Axel don't worry too much about your performance."
"Really performance?" Axel could pinch her. "Your acting like we had sex."
"You want to sex me?" Princess gasped.
"You know what I mean..." Axel sighs. Princess giggles and winks at him.
"Well that is one way to for Pokemon to build a bond, maybe if you agree to stay I'll think about giving you a taste some time."
"Why would I want to taste you?" Axel pouts.
"Because Axel, you might pretend that you haven't snuck a look or two but you want to sex me." Princess gloats. "I mean...I'd want to sex me too."
"Narcissism doesn't equal being sexy."
"...." Princess giggles and then surprises Axel with a hug. "We're going to make a great team."
"How!? I don't see how...." Axel feels a pat on his head and the dog feels himself calm down. With a sigh he lets out a murr.
"Good boy."
"Shuddup!"
