During the Darkest Winter story line Chip ends up making a bet with Meadow about outlasting her...well after the story ends we end up seeing that he lost that bet. Meadow being a girl who lives up to her bets makes sure that Chip has to live up to his end of the deal.

"Really Meadow!" Chip wanted to rage about how he looked at the moment, the Zorua didn't like the way he looked. He had lost his bet to Meadow and now had to pay up. Meadow was being extra sure that he paid his price in full as she waited outside in the main room for him. Chip didn't want to walk out and just stay in their room for the rest of time.
