\n\t\t\t\t\trevous for making this come to life. Some amazing work was put into making this picture come to life and for that I am very grateful. This picture features my pokesona Lightsoul the Shinx, with Elizabeth the Eevee. This picture showcases where everything began, my decision to have my sona be a shinx, why Elizabeth who she is and how these two characters are soul mates. If you have been following the misadventure series of pictures that fill in the holes of the main series Plains of Light and Bangam academy, they you have read the story of how Elizabeth aka Eliza feels that her and Lightsoul have known one another for much longer than their fateful first meeting. This goes back to years ago when I played Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explores of the Sky where my character was a shinx and his partner was a eevee by the name of Elizabeth. Which Elizabeth goes back to the old series of Bangam but that is another story. I always pictures my character in that game growing close and falling for his partner, which is sort of "confirmed" during the end of the game and parts of the after game. So this short is a tribute to that, my way of bringing everything full circle and tying up the lose ends of one of my favorite games, favorite pair of characters who even now still influence many things that I create.
Also I danced around some of the plot points of PMD EOS for those who do not want spoilers for a nearly decade old game. Can't promise that in the short story itself...
Also try to see if you can notice what personality differences there are between Lightsoul and Elizabeth during their "past" lives.

Elizabeth and Lightsoul stood in morning quarters, as usual Chatot was giving the guide Pokemon their morning briefing about their daily task, expectations and if there was any special assignments for the day. It had been a short while since her best friend had returned from whatever strange world that he had vanished to. The memories of their final battle against Primal Diago still haunted the eevee as she wondered if there the world truly was at peace. Their battle had been fierce and Eliza remembered that before the end of the battle the pair had exhausted all of their resources. The idea of just the two of them heading to Temporal Tower might not have been one of her best ideas to date and if Elizabeth had the power to go back in time and do it all over again she might think about at least heading out with a real team. Purity of heart mumble jumble or not, the two of them almost didn't come back alive.
After the battle had ended Lightsoul vanished, as fixing the past changed the future. Her friend did not tell her what would happen to him until after the battle had ended and they were walking back towards Lapras so they could return home. Elizabeth remember breaking down in tears as her best friend vanished right before her eyes and there was nothing she could do to stop it. If he had told her what would have happened...if he had been up front about everything...there was a chance that she may have taken the selfish approach and not saved the world. Thinking back to that moment when everything she had come to love in this world literally vanished before her eyes made Elizabeth realize that she didn't just apricate Lightsoul's friendship, but instead that she might actually be in love with him. It just sucked that it took till that tearful moment, when her heart felt like it had been ripped out of her chest for her to realize that.
"Hey Eliza," Elizabeth hears the voice of Lightsoul speak up from her right side. Longly the eevee looks at her friend, she still couldn't believe how only a few months ago he had been nearly erased from her life. The shinx smiled. "Chatot and Wigglytuff want to meet with us, they say that they have a special assignment for us."
"Really?" Elizabeth tilts her head in wonder. The pair head into Wigglytuff's large private office where the large Pokemon explained to the pair that because of their past achievements and their nearly perfect record of job accomplishment they were being selected for graduation. The pair were to head over to Luminous Spring and retrieve the secret treasure at the end of it. If they succeeded they would be allowed to graduate. After leaving the office the pair bumped into Loudred who told them that he did the test last year but failed. He was still traumatized from it. Heading outside the guide Elizabeth couldn't help but get pumped up for their final test.
"A fetch quest, this will be simple." Elizabeth confidently announced as the pair head down the long flight of stairs towards the main road. Lightsoul didn't look as confident.
"I don't know, did you see the way Loudred looked when we spoke to him about last year’s test?" Elizabeth always did find her friend's ability to think rationally appealing. But then again there was few things about the shinx she didn't find attractive... Wait what was she thinking, this was her best friend she was thinking about. Sure she care about him a lot, but now wasn't the time to get wet over the idea of him doing dirty things to her. Damn it there she goes again.
"Come on Light we need to get going, the fast we do this the faster we can fuck...I mean graduate!" Elizabeth panicked. "The faster we can be fucking graduates!" Elizabeth grinned as she picked up the pace. She hoped that Lightsoul didn't fully catch all of that.
"Eliza are you alright?" Lightsoul asked the now running eevee as she did not want to stop and look at her friend. The thought of explaining herself to him right now was the last thing either of them needed to do going into their final test. Regardless if it was a simple fetch quest, the pair needed to keep their cool.
"Light..." Elizabeth stopped just as they reached the end of the road leading out of town. Lightsoul and Eliza stood paw to paw, the pair staring at the other. A cool breeze blew against their faces as it was a beautiful summer day. Elizabeth looked up at her friend's yellowish eyes and while the shinx looked back into her amber eyes.
"Yes Eliza?" Elizabeth blushed as she always did enjoy being called by her nick name. Elizabeth was so regal, Eliza was just right. A nice mixture of playfulness while still sounding important, just like her.
"Lets finish this Light, just the two of use like old times." Elizabeth said confidently. Lightsoul smiled and gives her a nod.
"We can do anything if we stay together." Lightsoul looked down the road. "Dialga didn't have to bring me back to life, but he did it because he felt your pain. He felt how you hurt you were, he heard your prayers and answered them." Lightsoul looked at the eevee. "I am not always a perfect friend, sometimes I stay too quiet and let you do all of the talking. And... thanks for that Eliza, thanks for putting up with me."
"I have you to thank Lighty," Elizabeth gasped as it was one thing to call her friend by a just Light but Lighty was getting to cute. To her surprise the shinx smiled.
"Its alright, I think we have been together long enough to be cute with one another." Lightsoul moved slightly closer to his friend, so close that the two of them were basically touching one another. Elizabeth was able to free her friend's warmth as their fur was pushing up against one another. The eevee looked up at the shinx who was only slightly bigger than her.
"Light?" Elizabeth felt her friend's cool nose press against her's.
"How about we skip our test today, and go back to our little base?" Lightsoul asked the shocked eevee.
"You sure?" Elizabeth asked, the eevee was still feeling caught off guard by the sudden actions of her best friend.
"Eliza, I want to go back to our little cave and be with you." Lightsoul said as he reached in give her a kiss. Elizabeth didn't know what to think at first, everything was happening so fast. Putting off their exam, being alone out here, the pair were expressing their feelings for the other even if it was by mostly their body language. This wasn't how she planned it! It was supposed to be romantic, them standing on the beach during the sun set, the sound of the crashing waves, the cool feeling of night coming and Lightsoul tells her how much he loved her. Not that he wanted to take her back to their cave for a quickie.
"Um...can you at least not make it sound like you just want a quickie?" Eliza said as her friend was inches from kissing her. Lightsoul rolled his eyes.
"Really?" Lightsoul asked, but instead of pulling away he gives her a long kiss on her lips, the shinx pressed his tongue against Elizabeth's. The eevee was surprised for only a few seconds before letting out a murr of approval. This might not be how she dreamed it, but it was close. Once done the shinx pulled away, a long saliva trail kept them connected for a few seconds longer before breaking.
"How was that?"
"Um...8.5 out of 10." Elizabeth giggled.
"Oh brother," Lightsoul said as he turned around to leave, the shinx gives the eevee a slap on the rear with his tail. "Eliza I thought that it was a bit obvious that we liked the other alot, I mean we have done nearly everything together. We traveled to the ends of the earth and time itself." The shinx looked at his paws. "I love you Eliza, and I think you love me-" Elizabeth screamed.
"YES, YES I LOVE YOU TOO!!" the eevee pressed herself up against her friend, the sound of her murring and his purring could be heard by anyone nearby. "Oh, I wish you could have told me this sooner, that way we could have ditched this stupid assignment sooner and gone back to our hide away and fucked." Elizabeth wasn't wasting any more time as she brushed up against the shinx, guiding him along quickly, she did not want to waste another second.
"Is it just me, or do you want to fuck me more than I do to you?" Lightsoul asked as Elizabeth was guiding him through the street of Treasure Town as they headed towards Sharpedo Bluff.
"What that I want to get you to our nest and ride you until your sore, and then take a break and do it all over again." Elizabeth growled happily as they reached their little hide away and pushed the shinx inside. Before heading in the eevee puts up a little sign that she had made a while back in hopes that this day would come.
"If you do not want to join in, don't come a knocking."
