Character and story by me
So this piece was done after the release of Pokemon Unite, Absol is my favorite Pokemon to play in the game and I decided to have a piece done to represent that. Pokemon Raiders is based off the concept of Pokemon Unite while having some other twist to it to make it its own thing in the Lore Universe. This story takes place after Bangam created Bangam Island and has been finding activities for the students to do other than studying and having well sex.
Bangam Academy has been a roaring success for the past couple of years, there has been more students attending than Bangam or Bangam's new love interest Nikcino would have ever believed would. The concept of a school that focused on young Pokemon learning how to survive in the wild and actively engaged in the act of mating. The school had some backlash at first but overtime and as more village and "wild" Pokemon bought into the idea the attendance began to grow and soon exploded with the largest amount of registrations taking place only a year or two ago. Bangam was able to use that money to invest in better teachers with many being former students to include his now mate Nikcino a Cinccino that attended his school only a few years ago and now turned around to work at it. She was very lovely and played off of his personality beautifully as she was well organized and loved to figure out new ways of making the school and everyone else better. It was her who came to Bangam to tell him about something of great concern.
"Bangam do you have a moment?" Nikcino asked one more fall morning. She brings the Absol some tea and small crumb cakes for snacking on. "Its about the students, they are bored...really bored."
"How can they be bored, I mean there is so much to study and when their not studying the books they can perform in--"
"Look as exciting at it is to be in a school where you literally can have sex all the time and I enjoyed it alot while I attended but I also wasn't here for the entire year. Remember when I was coming here we hadn't started doing the whole boarding school, students being here 24/7 for several months at a time and it allowed Pokemon to take a break from school life. But now that we are having students here all the they need activities to enjoy other than is currently provided." Nikcino holds up a few pieces of paper and lays them in front of Bangam. "This is a survey."
"We do those now?" Bangam was a little annoyed, it was odd to have someone scold him about his creation, this school had become his life since he retired from adventuring and came here to teach full time. "Well what do they want..." Reading through the survey Bangam noticed one common theme everyone wanted, to see Pokemon battles and competitions take place. There was talk about having fun activities and after school stuff as well that were seen at other academies in other parts of the region. Bangam looks at Nikcino who already seemed ready to answer anything he asked.
"Bangam sweetie...do you trust me?"
"Trust you?"
"Yes, if you trust me then let me have full reigns with the physical education program and I swear that I will do a good job. The numbers do not lie and there are already a number of very good programs that we can bring here that they are already doing in other academies. I'll set up a good a small league that Pokemon can be apart of, we can bring domination battles here and there is something else I'm thinking of too."
"Whats that?" Bangam asked, he tries to pick up his tea cup though it was hard too. Nikcino shifts over to the Absol and sits next to him, she picks up the cup and helps him drink. "So how about it?"
"I don't know..."
"Give it a chance, if we don't take some chances we might end up losing students." Nikcino brushes her fur and then leans into to give the Absol a kiss. "I'll make it worth you wild..."
Bangam feels Nikcino climb up onto him, her legs wrap around him, the Cinccino's bushy fur softly grazes against him. "Fine, though you're deal of doing what ever I want starts now..." Bangam shifts himself so he leaned his back against the table and lets Nikcino shift herself around on him.
Nikcino's idea was a instant success as the moment the staff created a small makeshift arena the students began using it instantly. At first they only offered traditional Pokemon battles but soon other styles of fighting came as Contest Battles, Domination Battles and Battle Royals all became popular in just one school year. Nikcino brought Bangam one more style of combat called "Raider Battles" which was an objective based combat style that combined traditional combat and tower battles. Tower battles was something seen in Galor where Pokemon fought to either protect or capture a structure, the combat was exciting to see as Pokemon had to think of creative ways to get in. When the concept was brought to Bangam he ended up tweaking it as the matches normally would take a long time to conclude and Pokemon did not always have the attention span to watch or even be a part of it. A scoring system was created that involved scoring instead of just fighting and destroying objectives, magic was used to even the odds as all Pokemon reverted to their earliest version of themselves when they began combat training and over the course of the match regained their strength and finally a timer was included that would cause a end to the match. This was only one of several ways the sport was conducted but it was the most popular version and the students and fandom picked up on it quickly with sold out arenas and a waiting list to join the league that was longer than a term paper on the history of sex and how it changed the Galor and Unity Region after the great war.
The night of the first Raider's championship match Bangam was invited to be apart of the opening match, the Absol of course accepted. Despite not being as young as he once was when he began combat he was reverted back to his prime and boy did he show off. Often times the Absol was having so much fun he couldn't help but taunt and show off for the crowd. His little stunt earned him a chance to be the poster boy for the kinky version of the sport...
