*Note* Remember all characters are not perfect and I like to write about internal conflicts as much as outward ones. Do not be harsh or an asshole about how Taniku's personality is. He will have his own arc that will be explored more in Book 2. If you remember Taniku from the last series this version of him like some other characters is different. I couldn't help but change him up a bit thanks to the introduction of Galarian Zigzagoon line.
Taniku the Zigzagoon from the High Plains
Taniku, a Zigzagoon hailing from the High Plains in the Mysticfell region, embarked on a journey of self-discovery that led him far from his familiar home. Growing up among the dark-type Zigzagoons, he found himself at odds with their feral natures and behavior. Unwilling to conform to their ways, Taniku believed that he was different, with aspirations that reached beyond the bounds of his pack.
As he came of age, Taniku made the difficult decision to leave his home behind, seeking a life that resonated more with his own values and ambitions. He ventured through the vast plains, wandering aimlessly and contemplating his purpose. It was during this time of introspection that he encountered a fork in the road, leading him toward the Noble Highlands.
Arriving at Bangam Academy, a renowned school dedicated to teaching young Pokémon about survival and the complexities of life, Taniku saw an opportunity for growth and transformation. Though initially drawn to the prospect of honing his survival skills, he soon realized that the academy offered more than he had anticipated. Curiosity got the better of him, and he decided to explore the realm of sexuality as well.
Within the walls of Bangam Academy, Taniku flourished. His charismatic personality, combined with his battle prowess, quickly earned him popularity among his peers. He joined the school's battle team, showcasing his agility and strategic thinking, and emerged victorious in several tournaments. The admiration of his fellow students fueled his confidence, and he reveled in the attention.
Amidst the excitement and camaraderie, Taniku's path crossed with that of Axel, a spirited Growlithe with an insatiable curiosity and an adventurous spirit. Their connection was immediate, their shared experiences creating a bond that grew into something deeper. As Taniku and Axel spent more time together, their friendship blossomed into a passionate love that defied societal norms.
Axel became Taniku's pillar of support, offering unwavering encouragement and understanding as he navigated the complexities of his evolving identity. Together, they challenged the boundaries of what it meant to be true to oneself, embracing their unique connection and celebrating their individuality.
However, their happiness was not without obstacles. As word of Taniku's exploits reached the ears of his former pack mates, his father appeared at Bangam Academy, determined to reclaim his son. The reunion between father and son was fraught with tension, as Taniku's father struggled to comprehend the changes his son had undergone.
"Taniku... my son, why?" his father gasped, observing his son's altered appearance. "Did you paint your fur? Why do you reject our pack's ways?"
Taniku's eyes burned with defiance as he met his father's gaze. "I have chosen a different path, a path that aligns with my own aspirations and values. Painting my fur tan is my way of asserting my individuality, distinguishing myself from the feral nature of our pack. I refuse to be defined by the limitations that come with it."
His father's expression reflected a mix of disappointment and concern. "We are not all feral, my child. Our pack has its own strengths and wisdom that you have yet to fully understand."
Taniku's voice hardened as he replied, "I believe there is more to life than mere survival instincts. I seek knowledge, growth, and a life beyond the confines of our pack. I refuse to settle for anything less."
The tension in the air grew palpable, their disagreement echoing through the space between them. Taniku's desire to forge his own path clashed with his father's concerns for his well-being and the traditions of their pack. "Return?" Taniku snarled, his voice laced with bitterness. "I'd rather wander these lands alone, estranged from the pack that would rather see me conform than embrace my true potential. I am my own master, forging my own destiny, and I refuse to let their expectations define me."
"I can not believe I raised you to be this way. When you stop sticking your nose up and thinking your better than everyone. You'll find the door open for you to return home."
His father's cry for reconciliation echoed in his ears, but Taniku turned away, his heart heavy with resentment. He couldn't fathom the thought of returning to a life that stifled his spirit, constrained his ambitions, and denied him the freedom to be himself.
"Home?" Taniku spat the word out like venom. "I'll find my own home, among those who see my worth beyond the confines of our pack's expectations. I'll prove them all wrong, show them that I am more than what they could ever imagine. Home to me is anywhere my pack is not."
And with those words, Taniku turned his back on his father, on his former life, and ventured into the vast unknown. Determination burned within him, fueling his every step as he set out to carve his own path, a path that would lead him to his true purpose and identity.
Taniku's rebellion and defiance became his greatest strength, driving him forward as he faced the trials and tribulations that awaited him. The scars of his past served as reminders of his resilience, his determination to prove himself worthy of the life he had chosen.
