  "description": "Phew took a bit to get something done. *shakes head* Came up with this idea a lil while back and finally got around to drawing it up and fleshing it out.\n\n\"Dear Journal,\n\nSome things change when you least expect it. That's pretty much what happened to me. My name's Alexander Hearthright. Alex is fine. I used to be just another guy. Well Ok I was a bit weird even before hand. How many guys are gay librarians with an interest in scifi and history? At any rate I'm stranger now though. See a few months ago something called The Change happened. The short of it is that people all around the earth at about the same time were transformed. Into what? Well the name that's stuck is elves. We're short, usually no more than 4 foot and a bit at best, I'm slightly shorter, we're lean, we're agile, good vision with bigger eyes, long pointed mobile ears, feet that are a bit more grabby, and higher pitch voices. My voice sounds like it did when I was 13 at best. I kept kinda quite for a lil while after The Change. So I sound like a young teen, have the height of a kid, and that's not the worst of it. See we also have quick metabalisms that help us heal quickly. But it causes issues for some of us. Like me. What kind of issue? Well after I'm done shopping in the kid's department for my wardrobe I then go over to the infant section for my erm...undergarments. Ok diapers. Seriously size 6 diapers fit perfectly. It's kind of embarrassing but kinda fun. I've gotten to just embracing it. Truth be told this is a bit of a dream come true. I was erm....well I still have some...adult diapers, in my dresser. Yeah I guess I was a pretty odd guy. Still am but I'm happy. Being an elf is pretty cool. Put on a hood and I can get kid prices at the movies. Plus there seems to be some inborn knowledge too. I slip into saying something in Elven and sometimes I just seem to know things about them. General stuff. It's weird but it's cool too! Well I should end this journal entry here. Get ready for bed.
