Shield of Art Chapter 3 Takoda was in her baby brother's room. She was wearing a pink shirt with jeans. She pulled out the back of Elliot's diaper. “Wet, as usual.” Takoda said. She set him down on the changing table and untaped his diaper. “I should introduce you to Kaitlyn. Maybe we could organize a playdate.” Takoda said. She heard the door slam shut behind her. She turned around and saw Jeris in the room. “Jeris? What are you doing here?” Takoda asked. “I was looking for you. You weren't in your room, so I had to look around your house. It's nice by the way.” Jeris said. “Thanks, but did anyone see you?” Takoda asked. “No, I'm a master of stealth.” Jeris said. Elliot crawled to the edge of the changing table to see who Takoda was talking to. “Wait, whos that!?” Jeris asked. “This? This is my little brother Elliot.” Takoda said. “Whoa, I thought there weren't any babies in this world!” Jeris said. “Oh there are. They just get bigger eventually.” Takoda said. “This place gets more and more complicated.” Jeris said. Takoda took off Elliot's old diaper, cleaned him up, powdered him and put a fresh one on. She set him on the floor. Jeris sat down in front of him with a squish. “How old is he?” Jeris asked. “2.” Takoda said. “Thats how old Kaitlyn is. I should bring her by some time.” Jeris said. “I was just telling myself that.” Takoda said. “Anyway, something big has come up, we need your help again.” Jeris said. “Alright, but first.” Takoda started. Takoda picked up Jeris and set him on the changing table. “What are you doing?” Jeris asked. “I heard your diaper squish, your wet.” Takoda said. She pressed Jeris down against the table and untaped his diaper. Jeris wasn't used to getting his diaper changed by someone he just met yesterday, but he felt comfortable on an actual changing table. She took his diaper off, cleaned him up, powdered his bum, and put a fresh diaper on him. “Wow, this diaper feels great. It's a lot better than the crap they give the lower class.” Jeris said. “Now what is this mission?” Takoda asked. “I'll tell you when we get to the HQ.” Jeris said. “Bye Elliot.” Takoda said. Elliot waved his little arm without a care in the world as Takoda and Jeris went back to her room. “Do you still have that diaper?” Jeris asked. “I tried to see if I could get back into it and it kinda fell to pieces.” Takoda said. “Well, Cirea can get you into another one. Though, you might want to leave your larger clothes here.” Jeris said. “Are you suggesting that I strip off my clothes?” Takoda asked, annoyed. “Well, yes, but not for the reason your thinking!” Jeris said. “Alright, fine, but turn around and don't you dare peak!” Takoda hissed. Jeris turned around and closed his eyes. Takoda took off all her clothing and laid them on her bed. Jeris desperately wanted to sneak a peak at her. It's not that he was a perv or anything, it's just he never saw what a dragon like herself looked like without any clothing. It's called research. Takoda was coming around the other side of the bed. Jeris thought it would be alright to look at her now, but she swatted him in his rear to keep him from looking. “Get under the bed, now.” She said. Jeris blindly crawled under the bed, followed by her. When they came out from under Jeris' bunk, Takoda was once again an adorable baby dragon. Jeris couldn't help but glance at her. “You really like looking, don't you?” Takoda said, irritated. “What? Oh sorry, your just so, so-” Jeris started. “Cute?” Takoda asked. “Yeah, thats the word I was looking for.” Jeris said, flustered. Takoda was too annoyed to care about who saw her naked at the moment. She walked past Kaleo, whose eyes were glued to her. She found Cirea, who put her in a diaper, much to the dismay of Jeris and Kaleo. “Now, what was the reason you needed me for?” Takoda asked. “Some civilians were wrongly arrested by Decimus. He thought they helped the resistance, But they're innocent, we have to save them!” Jeris said. “Whats your great plan this time?” Takoda asked. Meanwhile, at the local prison... A large black limo pulled in front of the prison. The chauffeur, another black dragon with a red chest wearing a long coat and diaper, opened the passenger door. A gray dragon with a light gray chest, eyepatch, and long black trench coat stepped out. He was escorted to one of the holding cells in the prison. Inside it was 3 dragons. One was a male without fins on his cheeks or head. He had indigo scales with a light blue chest. The second was an orange female dragon with a yellow chest and fins. The third looked like the first one, but he actually had fins and blue eyes. All of them were naked. “Please let my family go! We didn't do anything!” The first one demanded. “Shut up.” The gray dragon said. The gray dragon procured 3 thick gray diapers with card key readers on the tape and red stripes running between them. 2 guards restrained the first dragon as the gray dragon put the diaper on him. “These diapers will self destruct if you step outside the prison perimeter. They can only be opened with this keycard.” The gray dragon said, holding a red keycard. “Why are you doing this?” The first dragon demanded. “You tell me.” The gray dragon said. The gray dragon put the explosive diapers on the other 2 dragons in the cell before leaving. “Can't we at least get some powder?” The third dragon asked. Meanwhile, Takoda, Jeris, and Kaleo got onto the roof of the prison by crossing over to it from a condemned building next door. Jeris removed the plate from an air duct shaft. “Don't tell me we have to go in there?” Takoda asked. “Relax, It'll be easy.” Jeris said. “I'm claustrophobic.” Takoda said. “Oh boy. It's not that claustrophobic, I'll show you.” Jeris said. Jeris crawled into the shaft, unfortunately, he was only able to get his torso in because his diaper was too thick. His legs flailed about for a second before he pushed himself out. “Well, this is a complication.” Jeris said. “I'm not crawling in there naked if thats what you were thinking.” Takoda said. “Whats makes you think I would do that?” Jeris asked, ignoring the fact that he was going to suggest that. “Thats what you get for wearing those cheap bulky diapers. Let me have a crack at it.” Kaleo said. Kaleo climbed into the vent shaft and was successfully able to get in due to his cloth diaper's relative thinness. He turned around a poked his head out. “Should I send the prisoners back out here?” He asked. “Yeah, if they're wearing thick diapers, tell them to take them off.” Jeris said. “Alright.” Kaleo said, disappearing down the duct. “He really loves those cloth diapers.” Jeris said. “I should get some for Elliot.” Takoda said. Meanwhile, Kaleo was crawling through the vents uneventfully. He was angry when an extruded bolt ripped off a small piece of his precious diaper, but he continued. Most of the prison was empty, most of it's previous occupants were sent to re-education centers. After looking through several ducts into the cells, he found the unfortunate family. “Pst, hey, up here.” Kaleo said. “What? Who the heck are you?” The first dragon asked. “I'm Kaleo, I'm with the resistance.” Kaleo said. “Resistance? It's your fault we're in here! They thought we helped you!” The first dragon said, angry. “Thats why we're here to help you. Get up here.” Kaleo said. “We can't, these diapers we're wearing will explode if we leave the prison perimeter.” The first dragon said. “Just take them off.” Kaleo said. “We can't, they're locked and the gray dragon is only one with the keycard.” The first dragon said. “What does he look like, besides his scales?” Kaleo asked. “He had a big black trench coat and had an eye patch.” The third dragon said. “Taurinus. I was hoping to get my hands on him again. Just sit tight, we'll get that keycard.” Kaleo said. Meanwhile, back on the roof, Jeris and Takoda were sitting on their padded bums, chatting. “So your a written 12 books already?” Jeris asked. “Yeah, I began writing when I was 5. I really enjoyed writing my own stories.” Takoda said. “Were you, still in diapers when you started?” Jeris asked. “No, I grew out of them when I was 3.” Takoda said. “Thats sucks.” Jeris said. “You really like diapers, don't you?” Takoda asked. “Everyone here wears them. We wear them our entire lives. Their comfort helps us in our art.” Jeris said. “What kind of art do you make?” Takoda asked. “Well, none, anymore.” Jeris said, sadly. “What?” Takoda asked. “I tried to be a writer. But, I didn't like what I wrote. I tried drawing, video game design, film, and music. None of those intrigued me as much as writing. But I could never live up to my parent's books, they scolded me, making me feel rotten. So I just gave up writing all together. I'm the only dragon here who doesn't have any art of his own.” Jeris said. Takoda was heartbroken when she heard Jeris' story. She just wanted to hug him, but Kaleo suddenly popped his head back out of the vent. “They got the prisoners rigged with Explosive diapers. Guess who has the key?” Kaleo asked. “Oh god, who?” Jeris asked. “Our old buddy, Taurinus.” Kaleo said. “Taurinus, I thought he was transferred to the south districts.” Jeris said, angry. Takoda didn't bother asking who Taurinus was, she was sure Jeris would brief her on who he was. Jeris lead both her and Kaleo off the rooftops. Jeris told Takoda that Taurinus was one of Decimus' top officers who earned his rank when he killed many innocent protestors. He told her that he rides in a big limo that shouldn't be hard to spot from the roof tops. It turns out he was right. They found his limo parked outside of and ice cream shop, where only the higher class citizens can get access to. Taurinus was sitting on a bench licking his cookies and cream cone with his chauffeur. His trench coat was sitting next to him, letting his higher class plastic diaper be exposed. A red key card hung from it. Kaleo was about to jump down to attack him, but Jeris grabbed the back of his diaper. “Relax, we'll wait until he leaves, we need to prepare.” Jeris said. Taurinus wiped his mouth his his napkin. He put his trench coat back on and went back to his limo. His chauffeur opened the passenger door for him as he got in. The chauffeur then got in the drivers seat and the began driving down the road again. As they took a turn down a short street, Jeris pulled hard on a rope, pulling up a string of spikes, that popped the limo's tires when they drove over it. The limo slammed on it's breaks, throwing Taurinus on his face. His diaper was wet as a result. “What the hell is going on!?” Taurinus said, pushing his trench coat back over his diaper. “I think we have a flat tire sir. I'll go and check it.” The chauffeur said. The chauffeur got out of the limo and upon turning around, had his mouth muffled, and was stabbed through the heart with Jeris' Chokuto. Taurinus then heard a knock on his door's window. He opened it and stuck his head out. “What is it?” He asked. Jeris grabbed Taurinus and pulled him out of the window and onto the street. Jeris pointed the tip of his sword at him. “Nice to see you again Taurinus.” Jeris said. “Well, if it isn't my old friend Jeris. Still upset about those colleagues of yours I killed?” Taurinus taunted. “Now their deaths will be avenged.” Jeris said. Before his could drive his sword into Taurinus' groin, Taurinus kicked Jeris in his own groin, which, despite being padded, still hurt and stunned him. Taurinus got up and before he could run off, Jeris grabbed hold of his trench coat. Taurinus slipped out of it, leaving him in just his diaper, and took off down an alleyway. Kaleo and Takoda watched the events from above and slid down some drain pipes into the alleyway. They blocked both sides of the alleyway, trapping Taurinus. Jeris slowly stumbled beside Kaleo. “No where to run Taur, hand over the keycard and you'll die a fast death.” Jeris said. “Huh, still trying to play hero.” Taurinus said. “And you think your a hero? Maybe in the eyes of the traitors.” Jeris said. Taurinus backed up against the wall, infront of a clothes line reel. “Perhaps you'll forgive me if, I unwind.” Taurinus said. “Grab him!” Jeris yelled. It was too late, Taurinus snapped part of the reel off and carried him upward. However, before he did, Takoda dove towards him and grabbed hold of his diaper, which was forcefully pulled off as he ascended, still having the keycard hanging on it. Once he reached the roof, Taurinus poked his head over the side angry. “You bitch! I'll have you put on the high horse for that!” Taurinus yelled. “Hope you enjoy the paparazzi Taurinus.” Jeris taunted. Taurinus growled and disappeared over the rooftops. The team had no need to continue pursing him, they had what they needed. They returned to the prison, which now had guards on the rooftop. “Damn it, they must have known we were there.” Kaleo said. “We have to get that family out. Kaleo, I'll buy you some time.” Jeris said. “Jeris, your not going to fight them are you?” Takoda asked, concerned. “Relax, I've been fighting for years.” Jeris said. Jeris leaped onto the roof and instantly killed one of the guards by stabbing him in his neck. The other guards pulled out their swords and ran to engage him. Meanwhile, Kaleo slipped back into the vent with the keycard and made his way back to the cell. “Those resistance idiots think they're so tough. That moron probably won't even bother to free us.” The First dragon said. “I'm Back.” Kaleo said, poking his head through the vent. “What the? You came back?” The first dragon asked. “Yep, and heres the keycard.” Kaleo said, dropping the keycard into the cell. “Holy crap, I don't believe it.” The First dragon said. “Can we hurry this up? We're on the clock.” Kaleo said. The prisoners slid the keycard in the slots on their diapers, which all fell off when it did. Kaleo helped them into the vent, then showed them the way to the roof. Meanwhile, Jeris killed several guards on the roof with little effort. However, he became cocky and one of the guards slashed at his ribs, injuring him badly. Jeris fell to his knees in pain. One of the guards was about to finish him off, but suddenly, a sword was thrust through his chest and he fell over dead, revealing Takoda behind him. Another guard started running towards Takoda, but Jeris seized the dead guard's pistol and shot him dead. He winked at Takoda. Kaleo emerged from the vent with the family. They were shocked at all the death. “It's no wonder Decimus is hunting you all. Your killing his entire army.” The First dragon said. “Theres no time to talk, we'll take you somewhere safe.” Jeris said. Jeris tried to stand up, but his injury was too great. Takoda helped him up and together, they left the prison and returned to the hideout. The family was happy to be in regular diapers again, even if they were in lower quality. “Thank you so much. I was wrong about you people. I'm Akanda. This is my wife Chenoa and this is our son Helaku.” The first dragon said. “It's good to hear that. But I want to ask you something.” Kaleo said, pulling a picture out of his diaper. “Have you seen this dragon?” “Isn't that her right there?” Akanda asked, pointing at Takoda. “No, she isn't.” Kaleo said. “Sorry, I haven't seen anyone else who looks like that.” Akanda said. “Damn it.” Kaleo said. Jeris sat down, his wound bleeding badly. “Oh god, your bleeding hard.” Takoda said. “It's alright. I get injuries like this all the time.” Jeris said. “It's not alright.” Takoda said. Takoda grabbed some of the sheets off the bunks and tore them up. She began wrapping it around Jeris' injury. As she did, Jeris stared at her. He felt a feeling he never felt before. He didn't start feeling it until she told him that she was an author, much like he wanted to be. “There, that should do for now.” She said. “Yeah.” Jeris said. “Are you alright?” Takoda asked. “Me? Of course.” Jeris said. “Well, is it alright if I head home now?” Takoda asked. “Yeah, you did an excellent job.” Jeris said. “Alright, see you next mission.” Takoda said. “Looking forward to it.” Jeris said. Takoda was confused when he said that, but she went back under the bunk and wound up back in her room as a teenager again. “You know, these diapers do feel kinda comfy.” She said to herself. Takoda shook her head and took the diaper off. Meanwhile, at Decimus' spire... Decimus was sitting in his jacuzzi with 3 baby dragon hookers. “You see ladies, I'm the one who invented Viagra.” He said. The girls giggled. Decimus' assistant came up. “Do you mind? We're trying to enjoy ourselves!” Decimus said. “Sir, the rebels broke several prisoners out of the prison.” The assistant said. “So? Tell someone else, I'm busy.” Decimus said. “Alright sir.” The assistant said, leaving. “Now, do you ladies want to know how I got my name?” Decimus asked, taking off his swim diaper. Meanwhile, on the streets... Taurinus was wandering angry down the street, still completely naked. He was stopped by 2 guards. “Sir, your under arrest for the charge of public nudity.” One guard said. “What? I am an officer of the law!” Taurinus said, angry. “Do you have any papers?” The second guard asked. “Uhhh.” Taurinus said, feeling his hips. “I Left my papers in my coat.” “Of course you did.” The first guard said, cuffing him. “This is an outrage! I'll have you both executed!” Taurinus yelled. “Tell it to the judge buddy.” The second guard said. “We don't have judges!” Taurinus yelled. To be continued... Please review! I really thought the idea of those explosive diapers worked wonderfully!
