"writing": "[center]~Star Fox: Miyu's Love~\n\n~Chapter 17: Mystery On Papetoon: Leo vs Miyu~[/center]\n\n\t--The Great Fox, medical bay, 03:11--\n\n\tAfter Alton's incident with the flaysium pellet, Fox and Bill carried him from the shipping container into the infirmary on a stretcher, Amanda quickly hooking him up to support and devices to monitor his body. He was awake and aware, but his body was severely depleted of energy. Nonetheless, he was still smiling the whole way. He lay resting in bed on the Great Fox, Fox offering to stay behind and hang out with him for the rest of the night, Leo being put in place to guard outside.\n\tAmanda then walked out of the infirmary, leaving Fox and Alton to chat quietly in the dim light of the resting room. She was then met by Peppy, Miyu and Krystal outside the door. “How's he doing, Amanda?” Peppy asked.\n\t“He's lucky, but he's gonna make it with a lot of rest and recuperation,” Amanda said with a smile.\n\t“That's good,” Miyu said. “I'm glad our discoveries have been able to allow us to plan properly for this very incident. Go team,” she finished with a smile, giving high-fives to everyone, Krystal's reaction being the most different. Krystal stood there lost in thought and confusion. “What's wrong, hon?”\n\t“Well... I heard something out in the distance when I was in the medical tent after the spray went on...” Krystal started.\n\t“What was it?” Peppy asked.\n\t“I thought... I heard a voice... more specifically, a voice speaking Saurian,” Krystal said.\n\t“From the dinosaur planet?” Miyu asked.\n\tKrystal nodded softly. “I've never met anyone that can speak the language off the planet Sauria before... I'm confused as to why they are here.”\n\t“Probably someone that was conscripted to work for Andross at the mine,” Miyu suggested.\n\t“Probably...” Krystal replied. “I think we should try to capture them and ask questions about why they're here if we can.”\n\t“Heh... if they want to come in peacefully and without holes in them,” Miyu said with a bit of a scornful face. “But I think winning the lottery has better odds, honestly.”\n\t“But... I think we should really try to talk with them and try to get them to come in,” Krystal said with a worried voice. “I think we could learn a bit more abou--”\n\t“The mission does not permit that kind of openness after they have already displayed actions of violence towards our people. Whether they get out of this dead or alive is totally up to them, not us,” Miyu said, speaking a little more sternly.\n\t“Well... I understand what your saying... but... what if--” Krystal started.\n\tShe was soon interrupted by Miyu punching her fist into the wall and stepping towards the blue vixen and getting right into her face. “I think you're missing the big picture here, Krystal,” she said, Krystal's heart suddenly beating faster in a bit of fright as Miyu stared deep into her eyes, knowing fully well when Miyu was being serious, and that time was right now. “I understand your desire to want to get info out of them because they spoke Saurian, I totally get that. But the fact remains, that whoever or whatever the fuck it is out there has made their intentions clear to KILL US, like they almost did to Alton in there,” Miyu said sternly, pointing to the door to the infirmary where Alton lay resting. “And despite certain senators in Congress in the past may have said, you CANNOT NEGOTIATE WITH THE TERRORISTS. EVERYONE... that I came here with.... IS. GOING. HOME. Do you understand?”\n\tKrystal stood there silent and nodded softly, letting out a depressed sigh. “Yeah... you're right Miyu, I'm sorry...”\n\tMiyu felt really bad having to talk to her vixen friend like that, but she felt it necessary to put people in the right path when in stressful or dire situations where theirs or other lives may be and/or have been put at risk. She sighed and gave Krystal a soft hug, holding her there softly for many moments as Peppy and Amanda smiled as they looked at them.\n\t“You are all very smart and strong women. And I am incredibly happy to be working with you all, and that is a fact,” Peppy said, making them all smile. \n\t“Amanda, would it be okay if I could be on call for the next shot to whoever gets it... if it happens?” Krystal asked.\n\t“Sure thing, dear. I know you are versed enough to handle it. If Peppy will approve it,” Amanda replied.\n\t“Approved,” Peppy said.\n\tAmanda smiled and nodded, giving her ready pack with all the injections, tools and supplies for Krystal to use in this situation should it happen again. “You got this one, girl,” Amanda said with a smile.\n\t“Thanks, Amanda,” Krystal said with a smile, taking the bag and walking with Miyu outside towards the tent city once more. Miyu readied her automatic rifle in her hands to be ready for anything on the journey back.\n\t“So who do you think it was that was speaking Saurian out there?” Miyu asked softly.\n\t“I'm not sure... only people I could think of would possibly be a Sharpclaw, because they were in league with not only General Scales, but also Colonel Shears who is a traitor and a plant for Andross.\n\t“Ah yeah,” Miyu said. “Shears the General Pepper wannabe.”\n\t“Hehe Well said,” Krystal replied with a giggle.\n\tThey got back to the tent city, Krystal going into the medical tent while Miyu headed back for her post on the east side of the compound. She was then met by Leo who stood watch with an automatic rifle. He smiled and gave a soft wave as she came in. “Hi, honey.”\n\t“Wh... waitaminute, why are you here, Leo?” she said confused.\n\t“Fox and Peppy sent me here to be with you for this shift tonight,” he replied softly.\n\t“Erf... I was hoping they wouldn't, but.... oh well...” she replied.\n\t“What? I'm capable of doing this. Besides, I got my guardian angle to protect me, right?” he said with a smile.\n\t“Aaaawww... this is true,” she said with a smile. She then stood at attention, her eyes looking out in the dark for anything she could, her feline eyes trying to pierce into the dark for any shape, any modicum of movement, anything that could hint at the sign of a possible intruder. “At least the sonar and motion system will detect anything real quick.”\n\t“Yeah,” Leo replied. “Peppy said the funniest thing a little bit ago.”\n\t“Yeah?” Miyu asked.\n\t“He was asking when we were gonna get married,” he said facing Miyu, smiling.\n\tMiyu giggled and smiled. “Aaaawww... we never... really have spoken about that, have we...?” \n\t“Not really, no,” he said. “We've... been enjoying life a lot with each other, it just never has come up in conversation. Kind of ironic, isn't it?” he asked with a soft chuckle.\n\tMiyu smiled and laughed quietly in response. “hehehe Yeah, it actually is,” she said.\n\tThey stood side by side for many seconds, their head slowly turning towards each other with sweet smiles. “I... I've never really... thought about being married before... hell, I never ever thought about being with ANY girl for as long as we have...”\n\tMiyu smiled and nodded softly. “Me too... not to mention all the love and fun we have with others... which I totally don't mind as long as it is somebody we both know and trust equally.”\n\tLeo's smile widened and nodded in approval. “I was thinking the EXACT same thing!”\n\tMiyu sighed happily and softly with a smile. “So... no real reason to change anything... right?”\n\tThey stood a few feet apart, their eyes gazing deep into each other's souls for several seconds. “Right... my love... I can go along with that happily,” Leo said. \n\tThey softly stepped closer to each other slowly, their hands joining to touch together lovingly, their heads leaning in, eyes slowly closing, their heads tilting to kiss lovingly--\n\tTheir romance was interrupted buy an alarm and Peppy's voice in their ears. “Miyu, Leo, motion detected in your region. Be alert, be alert.”\n\t“Copy that, Pep,” Miyu replied, the buff feline turning her attention to the darkness and peering outward to see anything, Leo doing the same. Even with Leo being a naturally nocturnal species, even he was struggling to see anything moving out there. They were then interrupted by soft footsetps behind them.\n\t“It's okay guys, it's me,” Krystal said softly.\n\t“Wha the... dammit vixy, you're gonna get shot here,” Miyu whispered softly, her attention still out into the darkness towards the reported direction of movement, still no visual confirmation.\n\t“I know, but I still have to try to talk to them,” she said, Miyu groaning softly, standing mostly before her as did Leo.\n\t“Nxe'j eik kxoho?! A bden 0ei jfoub Saurian, je 0ei sud jfoub nakx mo av 0ei najx. (Who's out there?! I know you speak Saurian, so you can speak with me if you wish.),” Krystal shouted out to the darkness.\n\t“Nxuk kxo xocc veh?! Kubo 0eihjocv udt 0eih Cornerian khujx eik ev xoho udt doloh semo rusb! (What the hell for?! Take yourself and your Cornerian trash out of here and never come back!),” the voice shouted back.\n\tMiyu's ears then picked up what to her sounded like a footfall that was suddenly very close to them all, her reaction to immediately turn around 180 degrees to face directly in front of Krystal while grabbing Leo by the shirt and throwing him down on to the ground. “GET DOWN!” By the time she was almost fully facing Krystal, a soft sound similar to a shot from a blow dart came out and Miyu suddenly felt a painful sting in the right side of her neck. “OWWW!!!! MOTHERFUCKER!!!!!” She screamed out through gritted teeth and sudden seething anger, the muscled lynx whipping around 180 degrees and firing her automatic rifle out in a spread across the night before her, a sharp scream of pain sounding out when her shots landed into something directly in front of her about 25 feet away, the lynx emptying the entire charge of her blaster's magazine capacity, about 120 rounds of rapid plasma bolt fire, completely empty. “GET THE LIGHTS ON!!!!” she screamed into her comlink, the lights shown out all around the compound... and sure enough, the perpetrator lay on the ground moaning out in agony from being filled with holes from Miyu's spread fire.\n\tLeo got up quickly as Krystal went to Miyu to check on her. “Are you okay??” the blue vixen asked.\n\t“Feels like something got me in the neck,” Miyu said, her paw rubbing her neck... her hand was covered in blood... the wound in her neck emitting a soft blue glow.\n\tThe three of them hurried into the east shipping container where a Landmaster was parked close by to it, Krystal getting the med bag open and beginning the rapid treatment and procedure. \n\t“Miyu's Been hit! East container, administering treatment! Krystal on scene!” Leo shouted out into his comlink. “Perpetrator is down! Visual confirmed and is down!” \n\tAmanda, Bill, Slippy, Fox and Katt came down to the scene of the incident. Amanda went immediately to the container to overlook Krystal's progress and she had already administered the injections and was well on her way into the incisions just before pellet extraction. Bill and Fox went out with blaster pistols loaded and aimed at the perpetrator... it was indeed a Sharpclaw Saurian laying on the ground, a square bag wrapped in leather on a shoulder strap wrapped around their shoulder with a slingshot in their hand.\n\tBill kicked the slingshot out of their hand and went for the leather wrapped box lined on the inside with a thick layer of lead, opened it briefly to see what must've been hundreds of tiny blue-glowing pellets of raw flaysium inside it, then slammed it shut. “We have our saboteur!” he shouted as he grabbed the box, flung it around his shoulder then helped Fox haul the Saurian away towards the camp.\n\tLeo held Miyu in his lap as Krystal extracted the flaysium pellet from her neck and washed as much of the residue from her wound with saline solution that she could. Krystal then patched her would with the sealing gel and a bandage quickly as Amanda instructed her. “Okay done.”\n\t“Good, now...” Miyu began, quickly getting up and grabbing Leo and Krystal by the shirt and roughly pushing them back out of the container. “You lock these doors shut.... and DON'T open it until I'm done in here, okay?”\n\tLeo took a step towards Miyu in defiance. “No way, I'm staying with you!”\n\t“This isn't the time to argue, hon! You've seen what this'll do to people... you can't even handle me right NOW, much less when I change so get—AAAAGGGHHHH!!! UUUGGGHHHH....” she said, holding Leo back until her heart started to ache and beat much faster, making her clutch her chest in her arms, her head bending downwards.\n\t“I'm not leaving you!” Leo insisted, but he couldn't say anything more as Miyu's right hand went around his neck and lifted him up off his feet a foot in a split second, Miyu's arms swelling so much they shredded her jacket, her upper body following suit... and when she looked into his eyes, his heart beat frantically as he saw the gorgeous deep blue was glowing a brilliant bright color he'd never seen, like bright beacons of extreme power, Miyu's maw gritting teeth that were more sharp and far more predatory than he ever remembered her being.... then a chill of absolute terror went up his spine when her voice altered into a deeper growling tone and shouted at him. “I!!!! SAID!!! GET!!! OOOOOUT!!!!” She then threw Leo to the ground away from her, his body sliding backwards at least 15-20 feet on his back. She then grabbed the huge heavy doors to the shipping container, doors which would take normal people considerable strength to close and open by themselves, and easily slammed them shut with a loud thud, Krystal and Amanda locking the doors shut. \n\tAmanda and Krystal went to Leo as Fox, Slippy and Bill came onto the scene, the girls checking over Leo to make sure he was okay. “I'm fine,” he said softly, panting and shivering in nervousness. \n\t“What happened to Miyu? Was she hit?” Slippy asked frantically. \n\t“Yes... she's in there...” Krystal pointed to the shipping container she was locked inside... where they suddenly heard a guttural deep predatory growl emit from within as the sound of shredding fabrics continued for at least another 10 seconds or so... and then unexpectedly, they saw bright blue light emit from the cracks surrounding the doors, along with a high-pitched long and pronounced sound only Leo recognized as the presence of Krystal's magic when she cast the growth and gender changing spells she put on herself and Miyu on that night recently. Leo then turned his head to look back bewildered at Krystal, who rose her hands in a defensive gesture. “It's not me!”\n\t“Could.... the radiation... be...” Leo started. \n\t“...interacting with the little bit of magic inside her...?” Krystal suggested.\n\t“...yyyyeah...” Leo finished with a slow nod.\n\t“...oh shhhhhit... it may be...” she said, her face growing tense and full of fright and uncertainty.\n\tAnother deep menacing growl emitted as Leo walked towards the shipping container. “M-miyu...? Can you hear me...?”\n\tHis words were met with a sudden bang from the container, met with a deep imprint in the door the shape of a fist at least a foot wide, the sight making everyone's eyes go wide in terror, more thuds and growls sounding from within as more imprints of fists became visible along the skin of the container, each one ever so slightly bigger than the last. After about a couple dozen punches, a deep growl emanated from the container as the sides and ceiling panels on the crate were slowly expanding outwards, one end of the container slowly becoming more rounded in shape, the sound of creaking stressing steel filling the air.
