(*Mattress Not Included)~\n[/center]\n\t--Great Fox, Training Room A, a few weeks later, 17:11--\n\n\tThe Cornerian weather began to slowly become cooler, changing from hot to a more comfortable and milder temperature. The changing colors in the leaves of the trees and the shortening days gave a gorgeous display of autumnal serenity all over the land. All of the tent cities were up and running all over Lylat, the first two built surrounding Corneria City were currently in the process of being converted into a sustainable living community, complete with houses, businesses, apartments, parks, stores, and many other things. Work was speedy and accurate, life slowly coming back to normal for hundreds of thousands of people that became victims of the effects of the war.\n\tHowever, as Fox had predicted on Fortuna some time ago during that mission, there were more large groups of people coming to the sanctuary and aid of other larger and more established cities and communities elsewhere. Most recently, a group of a hundred or so refugees had escaped from the mostly barren desert planet of Papetoon to Corneria City. Leo was dispatched along with Fox, Falco, Fara, Katt and Bill to a region west of the test cities out in that direction to begin a new one. Thankfully with the small population, this newest city would prove to be a fairly quick and easy build only requiring a week or so to get going.\n\tOne evening, Krystal and Miyu were taking some time in the late afternoon before dinner to do a bit of working out, mostly in boxing and defense, just like when they first met those few years ago. The girls had been throwing punches at one another for over an hour, their bodies having become sweaty all over. Krystal was very quick today, with Miyu surprisingly only just keeping ahead of her, the two scoring the same amount of contacts during their sparring. Miyu then put up her gloves to signal a timeout to rest. “I'm worn out... need to... rest a bit...”\n\t“I was gonna say, either I am getting dramatically better, or you are becoming a tad sluggish. You seem off your game today, Miyu,” Krystal said, grabbing a sports drink from the small fridge in the training room and handing one to Miyu.\n\t“Meh... sleep has been crap for the last week or so...” she said, chugging her orange flavored sports drink, Krystal downing several swallows of her blue berry mix drink. “Leo's been getting groggy in the mornings too. Our bed is giving up the ghost, so we're needing a new one,” Miyu stated.\n\t“Oooohhhh... a bad lumpy or spongy bed will definitely do it,” Krystal said as she sat down by Miyu's side. \n\t“Not too surprising either,” Miyu continued. “This one I've had since just before I graduated high school, so it is over a decade old and needing to go.”\n\t“Totally agree,” Krystal said. “Have you thought about what you're getting?”\n\t“Leo has been talking about one of those adjustable air beds, and I'm tending to lean towards that too,” Miyu said.\n\t“Oooh, now yer talking!” Krystal said with an emphatic smile. “I've had one of those since I've been living on base and I absolutely love it.”\n\t“Yeah? Well then, I'll have to check out the website for that big store just off the base and see what they can bring in within the week,” Miyu said, chugging more of her drink.\n\t“Definitely. I know you'll love it. Anyways, I'm hungry,”\n\tMiyu grinned. “No, you're vixy,” she replied with a grin.\n\t“I'm a hungry vixy!” Krystal replied, making the girls giggle together.\n\t“Teehee... let's get washed up and head home,” Miyu said, Krystal nodding in agreement. The two girls then headed to the showers and stripped down bare naked and stepped into the same shower, then grabbed sponges and doused them in liquid soap and began to softly wash over their bodies, sharing hugs and rubs and kisses all throughout. Neither one of them ever dreamed about being naked with each other, but they were glad they decided to try something different. And they were pleased that Leo was very supportive of it. And besides, Krystal couldn't help but feel excited whenever her hands rubbed over Miyu's muscular body. “Mrowrrr... soooo, has vixy thought anymore about trying being a big beefy horny girl along with me and taking advantage of my boyfriend?”\n\tKrystal blushed and laughed out loud. “Hehehe... I'll be honest, I have been thinking more about it... and I think I'm definitely gonna take you up on that double date offer with Leo. It sounds like fun,” she said.\n\t“Oh definitely. You would not believe all the energy and pleasure you get from this experience. Plus Leo loves it in both ends,” she said winking.\n\t“Oh myyyyy. He is such a horny bun. With an equally horny kitty!” Krystal kidded and chuckled.\n\t“You know me so well,” Miyu said with a smile.”Heck the experience has got me considering beefing up my body some more.”\n\t“Ooh murrrr... much more sexy kitty to love,” Krystal said, giving Miyu a kiss on the lips. \n\t“You got that right,” Miyu said. \n\tThe girls continued to wash each other's bodies before toweling and air-drying off followed by a gentle brushing and coming before getting into a fresh set of clothes and prepared to depart the Great Fox for home.\n\n\t--Tent City 21, West Corneria City, 17:41--\n\n\tThe formation of the newest tent city was nearing completion, only another couple days before everything would be up and fully functioning. All of the refugees had shelter and would soon have power and running water in the tents. A mess hall had been set up with Fara assisting wives of several families making meals for everyone with the food that was brought in. Leo was out working with the engineers getting the power grid and lighting system set up, Falco and Fox were together unloading various cargo and goods from the freighter ship that brought them to Corneria. \n\tThey were almost completed with unloading when they were approached by an elderly man, a short brown furred chinchilla with white hairs along his muzzle and used a walking cane. He came up to Fox and spoke to him. “Excuse me young man, but you seem very familiar to me...”\n\tFox looked over at the old man and stared at him for several seconds, a slow smile forming over his face as he slowly recognized him. “You.... wait.... aren't you the famous sculptor from Papetoon that made Star Fox that statue several years back?”\n\t“That Andross destroyed the day you all got to see it on the day of it's completion, yes that was me,” the old man said. He held out his hands and shook Fox's hands before giving him a hug. “It is so wonderful to see you again, my friend,” he continued.\n\t“You as well, good buddy,” Fox said, then turned around to call out to Fara and Falco nearby. “Hey Fara, Falco... look who it is!” They each came by and saw their visitor, smiling wide and giving handshakes and hugs as they too recognized him from that day on Papetoon some years ago.\n\t“Heya guy, I haven't seen you in forever!” Falco said happily.\n\t“That's right! How have you been?” Fara asked.\n\t“Oh goodness, I am immensely relieved to be here on Corneria,” the short old man replied. “For the years after that, I tried to make out a meager living on the desert world, but I have become too old and tired to worry about where my next meal and glass of water or even money to buy them was going to come from. I seriously debated traveling to the tent city you all set up there, but on my journey there, I heard of strange tales of evil doings and monsters surrounding that place. A week later, I heard about this ship coming to Corneria... so I took a seat and got myself off of that dry planet. I am so glad I did... I'm been most happy since I got here.”\n\t“We're glad to have you here, pops,” Falco said to him. “If you need any medical attention for anything, we have our doctor and surgeon Amanda here while we're setting things up, okay?” The old man smiled and nodded.\n\t“Thank you so much, my lad,” he said. “But for now, I'm going to get some of that wonderful stew a certain lovely fennec has cooked up.” He said, giving Fara a pat on the shoulder, making everyone chuckle and smile. \n\t“That sounds wonderful. Take care, my friend, and welcome home,” Fara said sweetly. The old man then went and turned to head into the mess hall to get into the chow line.\n\tIt was then that Fox, Falco, and Fara looked at each other in confusion. “Evil doings?” Fox asked.\n\t“Monsters?” Fara added.\n\t“Is there something we don't know about recent happenings on Papetoon in the reports lately?” Falco wondered.\n\t“Dunno... but I remember the specs on the tent city there and it is on an area completely on the opposite side of the planet that we occupied, so I'm not familiar with the area,” Fox added. “I think we should report this to Peppy and the General and see what's up.\n\t“I agree,” Fara said.\n\n\t--Miyu's Apartment, Corneria Air Force Base, 18:13--\n\n\tLeo walked into the apartment and was immediately greeted by Miyu who had come home just minutes before. “Buuuuuuunnyyyyyyyyyyy!” she said running in from the bedroom. The buff kitty pounced him after he closed the door, pinning him against it as she proceeded to smooch and lick all over his face, making cute nyumnyumnyum sounds.\n\t“Eeeeeeeee my sexy buff kittyyyyyyyy,” he squealed.\n\tShe suddenly froze for a few seconds, before she gave an adorably confused look... and began to sniff over him from head down his arm and towards the plastic bag full of groceries he bought on the way home. “Ooh.... OOH! You has feesh,” she said cutely, her nub tail wagging happily.\n\tLeo giggled at Miyu's adorable demeanor. “Heehee.... yes, I has feesh. I'm gonna cook some huge salmon on angel hair pasta with alfredo sauce, mushrooms and capers along with some butter garlic bread,” he said.\n\tMiyu's eyes and smile wide wide and gaaaaaasped happily. “That sounds amaaaaaazing!” She then hugged him and lifted him off his feet and walked him over to the kitchen and then set him back down on his feet to give him a kiss on the lips. “So how was your daaaaaay?” she asked sweetly.\n\tLeo began to unload the shopping bag, placing a couple of big sides of salmon on a cutting board and began to cut it into more manageable and cookable fillets. “It went well. This city went up very fast because only a hundred or so people were needing help.” He then grabbed a big pot and began filling it with hot water to boil the pasta in as he took out the mushrooms, capers, loaf of sourdough bread and jar of alfredo sauce from the bag. “So have you done any shopping for a new bed?”\n\t“I spoke to Krystal about that earlier, and she said the airbed place near the base is really good. I punched up the store on my tablet and browsed through it just now,” she said, bringing her tablet up. “I definitely want an airbed, and look,” she pointed to one on the screen. “This particular king size is perfect I think.”\n\tLeo looked over the picture, specs, price and some other info. “It does... but curious, what is the biggest size?”\n\t“Biggest? Umm lessee...” she scrolled down the size listings, Leo continuing to cut and prepare food in the kitchen, Miyu standing by him the whole time. “The biggest they have is this one... never heard of this one, a Fichina King... wow... 12 feet wide and 7 feet long? That is massive!”\n\tLeo grinned and leaned his head onto her shoulder softly, bunny purring quietly. “Sounds like something you could sleep on whenever you decide to get all big and buff and bulgy on me again,” he suggested. “I mean, I can't imagine that bed was very comfortable with an 8-foot-tall frame like you had that night.”\n\tMiyu grinned, her mind going back to Krystal and their desires to double-date with Leo and breed him from both ends with massive powerful bodies. “Actuallyyyyy.... you have a really good point!” she said. “Okay, I'm-a get one of those then. It even has a real wooden box frame to it, too.” She punched in a few details for delivery and payment. Soon a soft ding came from her tablet confirming her order. “Ooh! Day after tomorrow it'll be here.”\n\t“Sa-weeeeeeet,” Leo said, the tall bunny grilling fish and boiling pasta while toasting bread and heating up sauce.\n\t“Ooh, also. Idea: how would bunny like it iiiiif... on the day the bed comes, we have a double-date with Krystal?”\n\tLeo looked over at Miyu in a bit of surprise. “Meep? Me with the two of you ladies for a night?” He grabbed a bottle of champagne and began to uncork it as the food cooked.\n\tMiyu smiled and nodded. “Mmhmm! And we can even do it on the night we get the new bed. Maybe... break it in a bit,” she said leaning in to whisper into his ear lustily.\n\tLeo's smile and eyes went wide at the thought of making love to Miyu and Krystal on their brand new bed, his excitement making him briefly forget about the cork on the bottle, then suddenly remembering as it suddenly popped off and thudded against the ceiling. “Oooohhhhhh hell yeah, let's do it.”\n\tMiyu chuckled at Leo's comical reaction, and hugged him softly off to the side. “Heehee... yer so adorable.”\n\t“As is my sexy kitty,” he said cutely.\n\n\t--Corneria Air Force Base Operations, Peppy Hare's office, 19:33--\n\n\t“Evil doings? Monsters?” Peppy asked, curiously and in confusion.\n\t“That's what he said. I mean, I know the locals of Papetoon are big on lore, but I haven't heard anything like that concerning events in modern times,” Fox said.\t\n\t“That and the area in question is an area we never went to when we were exiled there, because it was on the other end of the planet,” Falco added.\n\t“Have we had any negative reports or resupply commissions from Papetoon recently?” General Pepper asked.\n\t“Not lately. They are scheduled for sending in a resupply order within the next week, but I can contact them sooner than that if need be,” Peppy said.\n\t“As long as there are no emergencies hailed in, I say let things take its course and keep an eye on it,” General Pepper said. “There are very few people there and if what our sculptor friend is saying is true, many people may be avoiding it and are coming here instead.”\n\t“I agree, let's just keep an eye on it and see what happens,” Peppy finished.\n\n\t--Miyu's Apartment, Corneria Air Force Base, two days later, 12:29--\n\n\tDelivery day for the bed, and Miyu was home to accept it. She met the two-person install crew to bring it up from the truck to her apartment, a pair of burly beavers named Joe and Vladimir. “Bed delivery and setup for Lieutenant Miyu Liynx?” asked the shorter one named Joe asked. \n\tMiyu smiled and saluted them. “That is a-firm, gentlemen. Thank you so much for promptly delivering this!” she said happily. “I've already scooted the old bed and frame out of the way so you guys can get started straight away.”\n\tThe men smiled and saluted properly to Miyu in response. “Oh, I see! Not a problem, Lieutenant Lynx. We'll get started right away with the frame and take out the old bed and frame last.” They then hopped to it, loading the real wood timbers of the frame and putting them together, Miyu actually surprised that the longest beams at 12 feet in length were actually one piece! The guys carefully maneuvered the big pieces as well as the 7 foot wide header and footer, putting them in place. They then went down to the truck to retrieve the wooden cross-lattice supports for the middle of the box frame base as well as the mattresses, but it was then that they came back up empty-handed, the two beavers looking incredibly nervous. “Umm... Miss Lieutenant Lynx...?” \n\t[i]Uh-oh... something got messed up she thought. [/i] “Umm... yes?” she said with a tilted head.\n\t“We have just now discovered a problem. If you could follow us down to the truck for a moment?” Joe said. They all went down to the back of the delivery van they used to get there, and Joe and Vladimir then explained the situation. “You've ordered the Fichina King, dimensions 12 feet by 7 feet... and they aren't specific mattresses, they are actually two Fortuna King mattresses laid down side by side,” he explained.\n\t“Correct yes, that is what I saw on the website and on bed sizes in general,” she concurred.\n\t“Yes, Lieutenant. Well, the problem is...” Vladimir slid one of the mattresses out of the truck just a foot or so to see the warehouse label. “These are LABELED as Fortuna Kings... but looking at them just now, we are seeing a difference in dimensions,” Joe continued, Vladimir bringing out his measuring tape and measured both length and width of the mattresses in the truck, each of them 6.33 feet by 6.66 feet in dimension. “Even though they are LABELED as such, these are actually just normal Kings that somebody at the factory messed up on. And sadly the only other correct mattresses nearby are unavailable until tomorrow afternoon,” Joe said. Miyu could sense stress and frustration in his voice at the screw-up, the poor man almost on the verge of tears, she thought. “Miss Lieutenant, I am so very sorry about this mix-up. I will do my best to make everything right and discount this whole deal for you.”\n\t“Aaww thank you very much, guys. It's not a big deal,” she sympathized. “I know things get mixed up every now and then, especially in these times when we are all going gung-ho in production to try and keep up. And the fact you are here being professional, up-front and honest at a mistake is very awesome of you both,” she finished with a smile. “So you say you can get the right mattresses tomorrow?”\n\t“Yes, ma'am,” they said in unison, nodding with worried tones in their voices. “We will personally check the dimensions on pickup too. And we'll leave the old bed until the job is finished. We apologize for the inconvenience.”\n\tMiyu smiled and nodded, thinking she could put the old bed back down on... …then her mind went into naughty places... a wider smile forming on her face. [i]Ooooohhhhh hell yessssss... this can still work very well... [/i]“Not a problem guys. And just in case I am not in, I will leave my boyfriend's number on your work order to get ahold of him.” [i]Cuz with what I have in mind NOW, he ain't going ANYWHERRRRRE...[/i]\n\t“Not a problem, Miss Lieutenant! Many apologies, and we'll see you tomorrow,” they said, giving a salute and handshake, packing up materials into the truck and driving off.
