Fay and Slippy, along with Miyu's help on the engine hoist controls, were able to lift, install and start up a rebuilt power system in one of the Landmasters that needed it. Falco and Katt had spent all their time alternating between working on making more ammunition and charge packs for various types of weapons and repair said weapons. ROB was walking around providing assistance with minor tasks as well as preparing some food and drinks along with supplies for everyone throughout the day. Overall, a typical mundane day of work restocking and rebuilding things.\n\tBut Miyu was literally hopping about and prancing adorably between places as she went all day long, her tail wagging almost constantly all day, the buff lynx smiling and cutely purring the whole day as she knew Leo would be home again with her tonight. Everyone was quite aware of it around the Great Fox that day too, giving off a very positive vibe that made the day bearable and all the tiny grumbles and setbacks seem incredibly minor. Everyone smiled as they watched her move about helping everyone out.\n\tThe weather that day was fairly warm, but not uncomfortably so. The breeze coming thru the cargo bay of the Great Fox from one end to the other was plenty to provide a gentle soothing cooling to everyone on board. Nonetheless, ROB's sensors and understanding of human anatomy were always there to watch out over everyone in such hot climates. He came in with a tray carrying drinks and setting them on the corner of the work bench that Falco, Katt and Miyu were working on ammunition and weapons. “I realize that it is close to end of shift time, but I brought you all some raspberry lemonades on ice to cool down the heat,” he said in his robotic monotone voice.\n\t“Aawww, that is so sweet of you ROB, thank you so much,” Miyu said, taking a couple glasses and handing them off the Falco and Katt across the bench, both of which smiled and nodded softly towards ROB. \n\t“Yes, thank you ROB,” Katt said. “A cool drink is always a welcome presence in this heat.”\n\t“It sure is! Thanks ROB!” Falco said taking a big gulp of it. “Aaaahhhh... wish it had a little vodka in it, but oh well.”\n\tROB then went to distribute drinks to Slippy and Fay as Miyu took a big drink as well. “Hehe... always a boozer,” Miyu said to Falco, winking with a smile.\n\t“Of course! Booze makes everything more fun, ya know,” Falco replied.\n\t“Haahaa... I'll remember that next time you get drunk so I can pounce-fuck you, little man,” Katt replied to Falco giving a wide smile.\n\t“Attagirl! Go get 'im!” Miyu encouraged Katt, gently patting her on her shoulder.\n\tThe trio laughed as ROB came back to the table and faced Miyu. “Excuse me, Miss Miyu,” he began.\n\t“What's up, ROB?” she asked.\n\t“My sensors have been picking up that your body temp, respiration, heart rate and levels of dopamine have all been elevated above normal throughout a majority of the day. I wish to ask if everything is going well for you, and if you need any assistance,” he inquired. Falco and Katt smiled and restrained laughter from those words as Miyu got up to stand and hold ROB's robotic hands softly.\n\t“Hehehe... aaawww, such a sweetie. I've been feeling really good today ROB. Leo is coming home tonight and I'll be back with my bunny again,” Miyu said with a smile that never broke. \n\t“I may not be able to express it due to a lack of any sort of emotions processor in my circuitry, but please believe me when I say, I am very happy for you, Miss Miyu,” ROB replied, the small display over his chest area showing a cartoony happy beating heart.\n\t“Daaawww. Thank you so much, ROB,” Miyu said, softly wrapping her arms around the robot and giving him a hug, to which ROB responded identically for Miyu.\n\t“You are quite welcome, Miss Miyu,” ROB said, then walked back into the hallways towards the command center.\n\t“Hehe... It's almost like ROB said 'Miyu, you smell, are you okay?” Falco said with a chuckle.\n\tMiyu and Katt giggled, prompting Katt to grab a rag with some cleaning chemicals on it that was streaked with carbon and residue from the burn marks of weapons from firing ammunition. She then spoke in a mock robotic voice, “Falco, you smell, go wash yourself,” she said as she tossed the rag at Falco's head, which landed in such a way it looked like it was stuck to the side of his head, making them all laugh out loud. \n\tFalco took the rag and tossed it back at Katt. “Silly Katt,” he said smiling and winking, the pink feline catching the rag and placing it back on the bench where she picked it up. It was then that Fay and Slippy walked up after putting their tools away. “Speaking of vodka and other such drinks, we should go out when everyone gets back from Fortuna,” Falco added, him and Katt starting to pile up their tools and materials for storage for the night.\n\tFay hopped a bit at the thought of that. “Ooh, I like the sound of that! Miyu didya wanna join us all when the time comes?”\n\tMiyu thought for a second, then shrugged a bit. “I dunno... as much as I feel like celebrating, I just wanna cuddle my bun as soon as I get my paws on him and not let him go all night... he's been gone so long, it feels like an eternity to me, and I'm pretty sure it does for him too,” she said, her phone sounding off a new message being received.\n\t“Aaaawwww, that is so precious,” Katt responded. She then tossed the rag at Falco again. “How come YOU'RE never like that with MEEE?” she said in a teasing voice.\n\t“Ack! I'm not that kinda guy,” he said, tossing the rag on the toolbox behind them out of Katt's reach.\n\t“Weeeeell.... I could seeing you being that lovable and adorable, big tough guy,” Katt said softly, scooting in to sit beside Falco, cutely resting her head on his shoulder and looking up at him.\n\tHe chuckled softly and scritched under her chin softly. “Hehe... ya think so?”\n\t“Of course,” she said.\n\t“Yeah, come on ya big bird brain, you need to not be alone sometime in yer life!” Fay piped up, nudging Slippy softly. “Right, Slip?”\n\t“You got that right!” the short amphibian responded. “Even I eventually got married.”\n\t“Mmm.... alright, I guess,” Falco said with a smirk, giving Katt a gentle hug.\n\t“'You guess.' Ya big birdy,” Katt said, hugging Falco softly in return.\n\t“Dorky kitty,” he said, even making Katt chuckle.\n\t“Hehe... Don't press yer luck, little man,” she smiled and said with a wink.\n\t“Anyways, yeah, I'm gonna pass on this one, guys. Like I said, I just wanna be with my bun tonight,” Miyu said as they all got up to leave the Great Fox. As they walked out into the tarmac, they noticed an incoming storm front with dark clouds rolling into the area, a trace of lightning off in the far distance with gentle rumbles of thunder.\n\t“Not a worry, Miyu. We can always get together another time. You have fun with your bun tonight,” Fay said, giving her favorite kitty a tight loving hug.\n\t“Thank you, sweetie puppy,” Miyu said smiling, giving a wave off to the others as she headed off towards a different gate to the closest sidewalk towards her apartment. She then grabbed her phone out of her pocket and checked her messages...\n\n\t[q]Krystal: IMPORTANT! What time are you getting off duty and when is \tLeo scheduled to come back?\n\tMiyu: I'm heading off work and on the way home right now. Leo is \tscheduled to arrive sometime around 20:00, so he'll probably be home \twith me at 20:30 or so. He's getting food on the trip back. \n\tKrystal: GOOD~ I'm heading to your place right now with food and \tsomething else I'm gonna give you, but I NEED to give it to you AT \tYOUR APARTMENT. NOWHERE ELSE.\n\tMiyu: ...ooooookaaaaaay. See you at my place, I guess. You \tauditioning to be Santa Claws or something? ;)\n\tKrystal: Humbug! Especially with THAT level of cloak-and-dagger in it. She rolled her eyes, shook her head with a smile, put her phone in her pocket and began to softly jog her way back home. \n\t\n\t--Miyu's Apartment, Corneria Air Force Base, 17:35--\n\n\tThe storm had almost completely covered the air base by the time Miyu had jogged the rest of the way home, light sprinkles of rain falling by the time she walked though the front door to her apartment complex. She took the elevator up to her loft and took off her jacket. She didn't have to wait for long before Krystal showed up and knocked on her door. Miyu then pranced over to the door and let her in, seeing the blue vixen still in uniform with a bag of food in her right hand. She also noticed what appeared to be a rifle holster or carrier slung over her shoulder.\n\t“Heeeeeeey kitty,” Krystal said, putting the food bag on the coffee table for a brief moment and then took the holster off her shoulder and propped it up against the wall. “I got you a couple of those big fiery spicy chicken bowls you really like,” Krystal said as she walked back to the bag of food.\n\t“Omigawd you spoil meeeeeee,” Miyu said with both hands on her cheeks, smiling wide and open-jawed. \n\t[i]Nowhere NEAR as much as what I'm gonna do to you later, sexy kitty.[/i] Krystal thought to herself. “Well, I figured you would be in a joyous mood to eat a lot tonight, with Leo coming back home and all.”\n\t“You certainly figured right. Miyu simply couldn't sit still, so she got up and shadowboxed against the wall for a minute or two to wait for Krystal to finish her food, glancing over at the holster. “Sooooo what'd ya get meeeeee?” she asked adorably in a kid-like voice.\n\tKrystal chuckled and stood up, tossing the take-away bowls and forks in the trash. “Hehehe well, what's in there will give you something I think you and Leo will have fun with a lot tonight. I figured you could both try something fun together,” the blue vixen hinted. “But first, I think we need to shower and clean up.”\n\t“Weeeee?” Miyu chided, stopping her shadowboxing, and stripping down to nothing quickly. “Trying to get in on some fun before I have fun wif da bun, is that it?” she kidded, smiling and winking in Krystal's direction, the vixen also stripping down bare naked.\n\tKrystal chuckled and pranced off to the shower, the buff lynx playfully in tow. “Hehehe Something like that. Miyu smiled and nodded a little shakily, truthfully being a bit nervous about what may happen here. “This is only temporary. It will wear off by tomorrow noon or so.”\n\t“Mkay... but... what if--” Miyu started before being stopped by Krystal's finger over her lips, the blue vixen stepping a bit closer, gazing into her eyes soothingly.\n\t“Miyu... when you trained me, it was literally 'I say, you do,' right?” Krystal asked. Miyu smiled and nodded slowly. “That's because YOU were teaching ME, because YOU are the expert, right?” Miyu's smile widened a little with a soft chuckle, and nodded again. “Well... what I am about to do for you is what I am good at... so therefore, I say, YOU do this time. You can trust me, like I did for you back then. Mkay?” the blue vixen said sweetly, slowly lowering her fingertip from Miyu's lips.\n\tMiyu inhaled and exhaled slowly, nodding in affirmation to her friend as Krystal slowly placed the staff into her paws, raising the head up above Miyu's head, Miyu watching it closely above her. Miyu felt a bit of a tingle go up her spine as she watched Krystal wield the staff, feeling SHE was the powerful one at the moment.\n\t“One last thing I will say about this is that even after it has all gone, you will still have a trace amount of this staff's magic in your body forever, but it won't harm you at all. Even Fox has a small part of it inside him,” Krystal said. \n\tMiyu nodded slowly. “I understand.
