", "writing": "[center]~Star Fox: Miyu's Love~\n\n~Chapter 7 – Meet The Parents!~[/center]\n\n\t--Great Fox, Miyu's Room, 09:13--\n\n\tMiyu woke softly to the faint sound of jet planes outside taking off and heading out into space, the gentle rumble barely being felt in the walls of her room which was within a few feet of the outer skin of the Great Fox. She yawned wide and softly as she opened her eyes, looking down to see Leo nuzzling her chest adorably as he always does when they sleep together. She smiled and kissed the top of his head lovingly while she moved her hand behind his head to scritch softly between the bases of his ears, illiciting a soft and quiet purr from his muzzle as he too stirred awake in her embrace. \n\tHe yawned adorably with a soft squeak, his eyes barely open as he looks up at Miyu, smiling dreamily, giving her a soft kiss on the lips before giving the end of her muzzle soft and sweet bunny licks and laps with his soft tongue. Miyu smiled and meowed sweetly at the response, both of their tails wagging happily behind them. “Morning, my cute beefy kitty,” he said softly.\n\t“Morning my sexy cute adora-bun,” she replied. “How did you sleep?”\n\t“Very good,” he said with a smile and a sigh of happiness. “Thank you for last night. You... were... incredible.”\n\tShe giggled and blushed softly to his words. “Heehee... I had a feeling you would, but I was... kinda taking a shot in the dark, so I decided to go for it,” she said. \n\tHe rubbed his nose under her muzzle softly as they continue to lay together. “Ppprrr... it was a damn good guess, sweetie. I can't wait to have you do that to me again,” he said dreamily.\n\tMiyu kissed his lips softly once more, a hand moving to scritch his cheek softly as she held him close. They lay together in bed for a bit longer as they cuddled and kissed sweetly several more times. Miyu then broke the silence by saying, “we should get up and shower and head to a breakfast at Chalmer's.”\n\tLeo nodded and softly got up to sit up, wincing a tiny bit as he watched Miyu get up to her feet and out of bed quickly, Miyu whimpering softly a bit as she heard and watched his reaction. “Aaawww.... I hope I didn't bruise yer butt too badly, hon.... I'm sorryyyyyy...” she said cutely, blushing deep as Leo giggled at her words, holding her hands in his softly.\n\t“Hehehehe... I'll be okay... may be walking funny for a bit today, but I'll manage,” he said, blushing just as much, the two smiling at each other as they held hands and walked to the shower to clean off. After they got out of the shower to dry off, they heard messages on their phones, each from General Pepper.\n\n\t[q]Miyu Lynx and Leonidas Cuttridge: Amazing work on the city planning! \tEverything is going swimmingly and according to plan, many thanks \tgoing to you both in your professional and rapid deployment of your \texpertise! As city planning has been pretty much completed, you may \tboth have at least the next week off, however if you should both be \tavailable for other duties afterwords, your help will always be very \tmuch appreciated![/q]\n\n\t“Yay, a week off!” Miyu said giving Leo a tight hug and hopping up and down happily. “Now we can have a meeting with the parents!” she said excitedly.\n\t“I totally agree! I gotta let my parents know about it soon...” Leo replied.\n\t“I already told my parents to prep their place in Corneria City for a big cookout. And I told them meat AND veggies since you're omnivorous,” Miyu said with a smile, winking cutely.\n\t“I like that idea. Gimme their address and I'll send it to my folks and we'll figure out what day to do it,” he said. “Better there since they are already in the city and don't have to get passes for the Air Force Base.” \n\t“Exactly,” she said. \n\tThey soon replaced the sheets on her bed and put them in the wash bin for laundry and then disembarked the Great Fox to leave the base and into Corneria City. They walked with arm wrapped around each other softly, heads tilted toward each other.\n\n\t--Chalmer's Diner, Corneria City, 10:36--\n\n\tMiyu and Leo were immediately greeted by their favorite platypus Sid, the short happy man waddling towards them and giving them a warm hug and welcome. “Welcome back you two! How's my favorite lynx and bunny?” he asked.\n\t“Aaawww thank you, Uncle Sid,” Miyu said sweetly. “work's been a bit rough getting new places set up and placed down, but they are growing and building as we speak.”\n\t“Yeah, the General gave us a week off, thankfully,” Leo replied.\n\t“That is good to hear,” Sid replied as he sat them down in one of his coziest booths. “The General is a great man. He definitely knows how to take care of everyone,” he said as he put silverware, cups that he poured coffee into and offered them menus. You two know what ya want, or would you like some time to decide?”\n\t“Y'know, Uncle Sid,” Miyu started, blushing a bit... “...we worked.... REALLY HARD last night...” giving Leo a wink, the words and her grin making the bunny smile and giggle to himself... “I'm-a have that huge portion chicken fried steak breakfast that you are so awesome at making,” she said with a smile, giving Sid a pat on the back.\n\t“Scrambled eggs dry, seasoned potatoes with sausage gravy and sourdough toast and preserves?” he added, knowing her preferences quite well after having her and the rest of the Star Fox Team as regulars in his establishment.\n\t“You got it, Uncle Sid,”s he said with a smile.\n\t“How bout you Leo?” Sid asked.\n\t“Same, but normal portion. I'm still trying to catch up with how much she eats,” he said grinning.\n\tMiyu made a mock gasp and put her hands jokingly on her hips in a defensive stance as she sat across from Leo in the booth. “What're you saying, I'm fat?” she said, sticking out her tongue adorably.\n\t“Nooooo.... I'm saying you require more food, because you are a lotta lovely beefy kitty to love,” Leo said, smiling adorably. Miyu smiled and blushed happily at Leo's response, and even though he couldn't see behind her, he knew her tail was wagging at that comment, as he knew it was one she dearly loved to hear from him.\t\n\t“Okay, okay, he doesn't wanna get beat up, I get it,” Sid said jokingly, making all three of them laugh loudly for several seconds. “I'll put those orders in, kiddos,” he said as he wobbled off to the kitchen.\n\t“He is a treasure,” Miyu said as Sid went off.\n\t“He is. He's very likable,” Leo replied. He then took a sip of coffee to battle yawning, then reached over to hold Miyu's hand in hers softly, a sensation both of them found great comfort in. “So umm.... how did you know? About... last night?” he asked curiously.\n\tMiyu smiled, finishing a sip of coffee and putting her cup down. “Mmmm.... I just kinda figured... after our experience in the shower our first night that you might like it, so I took a chance,” she said, only being half-truthful and not saying anything about Krystal reading his mind. She figured that was Krystal's idea and she'd let her explain it to him if chance and opportunity warranted that explanation in the future.\n\tLeo smiled and nodded with a bit of a blush. “Ooohhh okay. I was kinda figuring it had something to do with that,” he said.\n\tMiyu nodded. “Y'know... I wanted to ask... and whatever answer you give me is okay, I promise I won't get mad or upset...” she started... “...but... am I your first female in a relationship?”\n\tHe smiled, his blush getting a little deeper. “You are.”\n\tMiyu smiled, her hand rubbing his softly as they sat together, their eyes connected once again. “Have you... had other relationships with men?”\n\t“I have. Three different guys, two relationships. The first was in a triad, which I now know is totally not worth it, with two guys that later got married. And the second was with a man that later wanted to change gender,” he said, giving a shrug. “Not my thing, but to each their own. Later turned out she wanted nothing more than a sugar daddy and insisted the world revolve around her,” he said with a sigh and a roll of his eyes. “That and she and I had vastly different ideals about a lot of things, so we broke up. That was almost three years ago.”\n\tMiyu nodded softly, still holding his hand and gently squeezing it a little. “I'm sorry, Leo. I know how it is for things to not work out on the relationship front.”\n\t“How about you, hon?” he asked. \n\tMiyu's smile faded a tiny bit as she sighed slowly. “Well... I've had 6 or 7 guys since high school, and none of them stuck around for various reasons,” she started. “Some couldn't stand to be away from me while I was deployed during the war, and others well...” She was starting to feel saddened by this conversation, but she felt it was important for Leo to know. She wanted this to work out well with him. She was sick of being alone. Her face then took on a bit of a depressed kitten look as she continued... “...the others were either too afraid of me because of my body and others wanted me to become a mother and housewife.”\n\t[i]Bill was right. Those bastards...[/i] Leo thought, recalling his conversation yesterday with him at site 19. “Aawww... they do not know who they are missing, Miyu,” he said comfortingly. “And I can understand you not wanting to be a mom, having to sacrifice what you've built up,” he added.\n\tShe nodded softly, tilting her head softly a bit in his direction. “H-how about you, Leo? Were... I mean... I know it's early in our relationship, but... have you ever thought of kids?” she inquired, hoping to whatever gods there may be that could hear her right now that he would say no.\n\tHe paused, then shook his head softly. “Nah... I've never really looked on myself as a father, sadly,” he said, Miyu sighing deeply inside with immense relief. \n\tShe nodded with a smile. “Well... then it'll be okay to tell you it's not only because I didn't... WANT kinds...”\n\t“Huh...?” Leo said, tilting his head a bit in confusion.\n\tShe softly pulled her hand back and lifted her shirt up a bit to expose her abs, then her fingertips rubbed through her fur all the way to her pelt... and then he saw them... a pair of red lines off to the sides of her belly about an inch long. Having gone through an appendectomy only a decade before, he understood what he was looking at: incision scars. “I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer at age 14. I had to have an emergency laparoscopic oophorectomy to prevent it spreading to my liver or kidneys.”\n\tThat hit Leo like a massive cargo ship at high speed, making him tear up a bit and whimper softly with limp ears. “Oh no... I'm sorry, Miyu,” he said softly.\n\tShe whimpered softly along with him, quickly putting her shirt back down and reaching for his hands softly to hold them. “Heeeeey... it's okay, sweetie,” she said calmly. “I'm here, and I've been cancer free since then, and I'm right here, happy with you.” She looked into his eyes smiling, Leo looking back up and smiling with her.\n\tHe sniffled a tiny bit as he nodded softly. “I... I was always told heaven was very blue in color... I just didn't know that it was caused by your gorgeous eyes, Miyu,” he said, blushing deep. His words made Miyu feel like he made her heart literally melt. She always loved how he put words into love like that with her. \n\t“Aaawww! Sweetieeeeee,” she giggled and blushed deep, moving a hand to wipe away tears of joy from her yes, then from his softly.\n\t“I even saw it in your eyes when you were... all the way deep into my butt last night, too... your strong body looming over me and pinning me in place like that,” he giggled, holding his hands with hers, the two of them getting up a bit and leaning in towards each other to kiss very softly for several seconds. “Love you, beefy sweetie kitty,” he said adorably.\n\t“Love you, my adora-bun with the hawt bubbly butt,” she said, the two of them giggling softly at their silly nicknames, then sat down. It was then that Sid came up and placed their food in front of them and they began to eat. \n\tLittle did they know, sitting directly behind Miyu in the next booth was Krystal, softly listening in on their minds and smiling with teary eyes as she sipped a cream soda. She then drifted her eyes off to Peppy, who was sitting directly across from Krystal. He was also a telepath, and he had also been tuned into Miyu and Leo, and from listening to it... the elderly rabbit was frozen in place, eyebrow raised, head slightly tilted, his hand lifting a spoon with a bite of an ice cream sundae into his mouth which hung open. [i]…kids these days are so darn weird... [/i]he thought into Krystal's mind, making the blue vixen chuckle quietly.\n\n\t--Three days later, The Lynx Family Home, Corneria City, 14:52--\n\n\t“Oh wow!” Leo said as he drive his car into Miyu's parent's driveway, getting a good look at the rustic outdoors cabin design of their home. “I absolutely love the way this home looks, Miyu. I LOVE cabins,” he said smiling wide.\n\tMiyu giggled at Leo's excitement and smiled as well. “Yeah, dad was a forester and harvested a ton of lumber all over Corneria and Fortuna before the wars. And by the way, their names are Lawrence and Patricia,” she reminded him as he put the manual shift of his car into neutral and set the parking brake.\n\t“Yep, I remember. And my parents names are Rob and Judy,” he said softly getting out of the car after turning it off and taking off his seat belt. \n\t“Dad said he was curious about your dad because him name was familiar to him,” Miyu said, shrugging a bit as she guided Leo up the driveway and to the front door, knocking on the front door softly.\n\tLeo shrugged as well. “I dunno, maybe we'll find out soon enough,” he said.\n\t“By the way, not that you would have a problem, being a rabbit and all, but they love to give hugs. Especially tight ones from my dad. I know he'll love you instantly, as he always wanted a son,” she said winking at Leo.\n\tThose words of encouragement comforted Leo and erased some of the nervousness of meeting the other parents and potential future in-laws. The front door soon opened with Patricia at the door. “Sweetieeeeee,” she said, giving Miyu a hug for several moments and giving cute feline purrs of happiness. Leo smiled as he noticed she too was also very tall, just like Miyu, his spade tail wagging happily at the sight. “Aww, and is this my son you've told me so much about, Miyu?” she said as she let go of Miyu and gave Leo a big hug that lasted for many moments. \n\t“That's right mom, this is Leo,” Miyu said before she turned around and gave her dad Lawrence a great big hug in the background.\n\t“P-pleased to meet you, ma'am,” he said softly, yet still a bit nervously.\n\t“Naw, naw, it's 'mom' in here, okay, hon?” she said with a smile before giving him a kiss on each cheek.\n\tLeo blushed deeply at the response and unbelievable acceptance. “Hehehe... okay, mom,” he said softly with a wide blushy smile. His attention then shifted to watching Miyu getting picked up in a big bear hug by her dad... his eyes and smile going wide as he saw that her dad was taller and beefier than she was! His heart raced a bit quicker as Lawrence smiled and opened up his arms and moved in on Leo. \n\t“There's my soooooon!” Lawrence then wrapped his arms tightly around Leo and leaned back to lift him off his feet what seemed a good foot or so, giving a tight squeeze-hug to make several of his vertebrae pop delightfully in his spine, Leo feebly trying to give as equal of a squeeze-hug in return as Lawrence hopped up and dawn happily a few times.\n\t“Hehehe... now now, let the boy have a chance to breathe, Lawrence,” Patricia said, her and Miyu giggling in the background.\t\n\tLawrence chuckled happily in response and put Leo down on his feet, softly putting his hands on his shoulders and smiling down at him. “There, can you breathe now?” Lawrence said with a wink.\n\tLeo laughed and nodded. “Hehe... yeah, dad!” he said happily. Miyu rejoined Leo by his side as Lawrence and Patricia stood side by side in the living room, Miyu giving Leo a wink as if to say “told ya so.”\n\tPatricia motioned to the sofa in the front. “Well sit down, sit down you two, I'm just gonna finish preparing some food to grill out back for dinner tonight,” she said walking off to the kitchen in the background, which due to the layout of the house wasn't entirely out of sight from those in the living room. Leo liked the design rather a lot.\n\tLawrence sat down in his leather recliner across from Miyu and Leo who cuddled happily on the leather living room sofa, Leo feeling infinitely relieved from the incredibly warm welcome from Miyu's parents. It was when Lawrence was sitting down that Leo was getting a really good look at his form. [i]Note to self: better to make wedding plans than funeral plans: DON'T PISS OFF HER DAD![/i] Leo thought to himself.\n\t“So I take it yer parents will be joining us here soon, Leo?” Lawrence asked.\n\t“Yeah, they should only be a few minutes away,” he replied.\n\t“You said his name was Robert, right?” Lawrence inquired.\n\t“That's right,” he said.\n\t“Bit of a shorter rabbit with no chest or neck fluff, same color as you, same hazel eye color?” Lawrence continued.\n\t“Y-yes to all,” Leo replied, wondering where this was going.\n\t“Hah! That's gotta be him... he's the only one I know like that I remember,” Lawrence said. It wasn't long before they heard a minivan approach the house and park directly behind Leo's car, the rabbit couple getting out and walking to the front door. Lawrence noticed them, getting up and smiling, going to the door to answer it. When Lawrence opened the door, they all stood there for a few seconds, smiles forming on Lawrence's and Rob's face as they then pointed at each other, the two of them saying simultaneously, “I thought that was you!” They saluted and gave handshakes and hugs at the door with joyous laughter. “When Leo said your name, I thought it HAD to be the Rob Cuttridge I remembered from MY past,” he said to the rabbit pair, welcoming them in and closing the door. Miyu smiled and shrugged at Leo with a confused delight, having no idea their fathers knew each other.\n\t“Same here, good buddy!” Rob said. “I can see you are doing really good by the looks of your house... your awesome designs and all that I remember from our days way back when.”\n\t“Hehehe Yeah well, I get one design right every once in a while,” Lawrence said in a not-at-all convincingly jest of modesty.\n\t“Aw bullshit Lawrence, you ALWAYS get them right,” Rob said with a pat to Lawrence's shoulder and a wink. “This is my wife Judy,” he continued, motioning to the other rabbit, Miyu recognizing her as Leo had described her in his interview all those months ago, a short lion's-head rabbit, his parents both a snowy white, like Leo. “Heya son,” he said, giving Leo a hug.\n\t“Hey dad, thanks for coming,”\n\t“Not a problem, not a problem,” he said, Lawrence giving a handshake and hug to Judy in the background. Rob then turned his attention to Miyu. “Lieutenant... Miyu Lynx, do I have that right?” he said with a smile.\n\t“Yessir,” she said, smiling back.\n\tRob then saluted her properly. “Captain Robert Cuttridge, Cornerian Air Force, retired,” he said. \n\t“Oh wow, thank you, Captain,” she replied with a proper salute and a smile.\n\tRob put his right arm down and reached out with both, “Alright, enough of that, now yer other dad needs a hug, darlin'. It's so wonderful to finally meet ya,” he said, hugging onto Miyu happily, the lynx smiling and purring adorably.\n\t“Pppprrr... likewise, dad,” she replied. Releasing the hug from Rob and giving Judy a hug softly.\n\t“Such a lovely lynxy you are, sweetheart,” Judy said sweetly. “I'm so glad you have Leo to be around, he has been so lonely as of late,” she said.\n\t“Aaawwww thank you, mom,” Miyu said happily. She held Leo's right hand in her left as she rejoined him by his side. “Yes, Leo and I have very happily filled a very lonely void in each of our lives. I have my adora-bun,” she said giving Leo a kiss on his lips.\n\t“And I have my buff cutie kitty,” he said kissing her once in return, his parents and Lawrence giving a happy “aaaawwww” in response. It was then that Patricia came into the room, drying her hands off after washing them softly.\n\t“And here's my lovely wife Patricia. Hon, this is Leo's parents, Rob and Judy,” Lawrence said.\n\tShe came in and gave Leo's parents a nice hug and nuzzle of the cheek as she smiled sweetly. “Hello Rob and Judy, it is so very nice to finally meet you both,” she said.\n\t“You as well darlin,” Rob said.\n\t“So how do you know Rob, dad?” Miyu asked in curiosity.\n\t“Well, about ten years before you and Leo were born and before Andross started causing problems in Lylat, there was a huge forest fire on the opposite side of Corneria that was started by a giant thunderstorm,” Lawrence explained. “On the edge of that forest zone was a small settlement that was largely wiped out from the fire. Rob and I were deployed there to help rebuild it. I was working in forestry when he was a Sargent.”\n\t“That's right! His timber firm supplied the lumber and my regiment and I helped in the rebuilding process. That's where we met first,” Rob said. \n\t“Yep. Hey, why don't we head outside? We got a lovely back yard with some shaded seating by a fire pit and a small pond to enjoy,” Lawrence suggested.\n\t“You guys go ahead,” Patricia said. “I'm still preparing some food, so if we can get the fire pit going now, we can eat soon.”\n\t“I can help get that going,” Leo said.\n\t“Do you need some help in the kitchen, dear? I would love to help you out,” Judy said to Patricia.\n\t“That would be lovely,” she said. “I'm fixing a bunch of spicy chicken, beef kabobs, potatoes au gratin, and some street side style mixed veggies.”\n\tJudy went to help out Patricia with food while the others went out into the back yard. Upon first glance, the huge green yard looked more like a royal arbor more than anything, tall cottonwood trees surrounding the entire yard providing great shade, a small pond sat in one corner of the lawn with a relief in the middle that had a waterfall in it powered by a water pump in the base of the fountain. Nearby was the fire pit, a 3 foot wide bowl with a grilling grate over it, made entirely of large cemented river rocks, all of the seating surrounding it in a circle. \n\tLeo noticed the wood pile by the side of a small shed nearby and grabbed some cut wedges of wood and put them into a canvas carrier. He didn't see any kindling or any small pieces of wood, but he did notice a bunch of cottonwood seeds that had fallen from the trees over the last few days had fallen and created a thick line of seeds, which Leo picked up a few handfuls and put them on top of the wood in the carrier.\n\tHe then carried the wood over to the side of the fire pit, set it down on the outside rim and grabbed a couple pieces, one smaller than the other. He then reached into his pocket and got his folding knife and opened the blade and used it to chop small pieces of wood from the bigger piece using the smaller piece as a striker on the blade. After the big piece of wood was all small pieces, he then set them in the middle of the fire pit, placing the handfuls of cottonwood seed in the middle at the base. Leo then unscrewed a cap at the base of his knife and pulled out a ferro rod about 3 inches long and a 1/4” thick, then placed it at the base where the seeds were, then slid his knife blade along the ferro rod, creating sparks that landed on the seeds and started a fire which set the rest of the wood ablaze softly.\n\tMiyu, Lawrence and Rob clapped and cheered Leo on the creation of the fire. “That was really neat, hon! I didn't know you could do that,” Miyu said.\n\t“Yeah, I learned all that from that Survivalman show. I've been a big fan of that since it was new,” he said.\n\t“Aww yeah, Lester Crowder is an awesome guy,” Rob said. “Great musician, too. Didn't you go to see him perform live at Corneria City once, son?”\n\t“Yup, about five years ago. Really amazing to meet him,” Leo said.\n\t“I'd love to go see him some day. He seems like a really friendly guy,” Lawrence said.\n\t“He really is. Is was definitely a bucket list item for me to cross off to met him in person,” Leo said with a smile. As the smaller pieces of wood began to really take flame, Leo then began to add bigger pieces of wood to fuel the fire and create more coals to cook with later.\n\t“So I understand the tent cities have come up really fast and with little problem?” Lawrence inquired.\n\t“Oh yes, Leo's and my contributions led to everything going up to smoothly and quickly. General Pepper said he was incredibly pleased with how everything was going so far,” Miyu responded, wrapping an arm around Leo and pulling him in close to cuddle with her on the bench in front of the fire. He smiled and wrapped his arms around her chest and rested his head on her shoulder, Miyu smiling and nuzzling the top of his head sweetly and giving a kiss there. “Mwah. Mine,” she said cutely.\n\t“Yours,” he said just as adorably.\n\t“So what did you do during the war, Miyu?” Rob asked her.\n\t“I was a forward scout and anti-fighter craft pilot for the Star Fox team,” she responded with a smile.\t\n\t“Oh wow, lucky you, girl!” Rod replied joyously. “That must be quite a thrill to work with all those team members.”\n\t“It is! Falco can be a bit too much to handle from time to time, but they are all really good people,” Miyu said. She smiled a bit wider as she felt Leo's hand rubbing over her six-pack abs slowly, her hand wrapped around him moving to softly scritch under his muzzle softly as they sat together.\n\t“What did you fly? I mean, if you're permitted to talk about it, that is,” Rob said, knowing well that certain things in the military are not to be known outside of certain circles. \n\t“Mine is actually a one-off prototype model which was considered a precursor to the current Arwing X-03, and it is called the Arwing X-Interceptor. It's the fastest and most reflexive craft known in the group,” she said. “It really never got serious use until I joined the team, sadly. Fox, Peppy and Slippy aren't big fans of it. Falco said he liked it, but sadly it takes as much damage as it deals, so one has to be really quick with it.”\n\tThe four continued to sit around the fire chatting about various things for at least another hour or so before there were a sufficient amount of hot coals to scrape over onto one section of the cooking grate. Leo raked them over to that one side as Patricia and Judy came out of the house with platters of food to cook. The sizzle and smell of food grilling suddenly filled the air, making everyone hungrier in an instant. Chatter continued with Judy and Patricia joining in, sitting beside their respective spouses. Lawrence got up and brought a cooler with salty ice water in it chilling cans of soda and bottles of beer and water along with a bottle of white sweet wine for Judy and Patricia as they sat around by the fire, relaxing in the beautiful Cornerian summer weather and conversing about random things.\n\tOnce the food was all done cooking, they all gathered plates and dished up all of Patricia's delicious cooking, everyone enjoying every bite of it all. Miyu and Leo sat together on the bench being adorable lovebirds as they ate, making the cutest gestures and motions every now and then as they ate. They would put forkfuls of food into each other maws, placing bites of food in their lips, both nibbling on the food all the way until their lips met and kissed in the middle and other such adorable notions of love. Lawrence and Patrica as well as Rob and Judy all smiled as they sat across from their children and watched, all four of them very happy that their kids were very happy together, reminding them of their youths when they were in love together as well.\n\tMore hours of conversation ticked by as they all ate, drank and celebrated happily, the late afternoon giving way to evening with a gentle parade of fireflies flying all around them, gently lighting up the darkening skies, the sound of the small waterfall in the fountain adding to the environment to make it serene and relaxing. By the time the entire sun set below the horizon, several yawns of sleepiness entered into their heads, signaling the end of the get together, everyone giving many more handshakes and hugs as Rob and Judy prepared to depart to head home. Once they were in their minivan and driving off, Leo and Miyu walked arm in arm from the driveway up to the Lynx house, walking in thru the front door as Patricia finished throwing trash away, settling dishes in the dishwasher and storing leftovers in the refrigerator. \n\t“Well, that was a wonderful time meeting your parents, Leo. We MUST do this again in the future when you are both available to do so,” Patricia said, drying her hands off with a towel.\n\t“You betcha,” said Lawrence. “That was such a thrill to see your dad again. I'm glad he's doing well.”\n\t“Yeah, it was an amazing night, for sure. Thank you so much for doing it all for us, si-- umm... dad,” Leo replied, blushing a bit, the reaction making Lawrence chuckling softly.\n\t“You guys gonna stay here tonight? May as well save you a drive in the dark,” Lawrence suggested, but Miyu was already taking Leo's hands in her own and gently pulling him deeper into the house towards the stairs up to the bedrooms.\n\t“Yeah, we're gonna stay here tonight, daddy,” Miyu said smiling. “Think we're tired enough to head up now,” she said as she guided Leo up the stairs, giving him a sultry wink.\n\t“We will be too, very shortly,” Patricia said. “It's been a loooooong happy day for us all. You two sleep well, and we'll see you both in the morning.”\n\t“Yer daddy needs a hug here, my little kitten,” Lawrence said, holding out his arms to Miyu, hugging her in one arm and Leo in his other, giving them both a gentle squeeze. “Good night you two. Sleep well.”\n\t“Nini daddy,” Miyu said sweetly giving her dad a smooch on the cheek.\n\t“G'nite, mom, dad,” Leo said with a smile, blushing a bit. He then turned towards Miyu just as she bent down a little bit, reached behind him to give his bubbly bunny butt a squeeze, then lifted him off his feet effortlessly, making him hug his legs around her waist as she hauled him off to her bedroom. “Heehee.... mine,” she said, smiling up at her rabbit lover, to which he happily replied, “Yours.”\n\tMiyu pushed the door to her bedroom open and gently set Leo onto his feet again, then went to close the door gently and lock it, her grin sly and mischievous. She then walked over to Leo, gently pressing against his body with hers as she kissed his lips sweetly and softly for many seconds, her hands working on unbuttoning his clothes, his hands joining in to remove her clothes in his hands as well.\n\tAs she unbuttoned his shirt and removed it from his torso, his hands were busy removing her small jacket and unzipping her leotard down the middle, her breasts softly spreading the zippered edges apart, her abs coming out soon after as he then slipped her leotard towards her back and down her sides, leaving her naked up top quickly. ~Chapter 7 – Meet The Parents!~

\tMiyu woke softly to the faint sound of jet planes outside taking off and heading out into space, the gentle rumble barely being felt in the walls of her room which was within a few feet of the outer skin of the Great Fox.  She yawned wide and softly as she opened her eyes, looking down to see Leo nuzzling her chest adorably as he always does when they sleep together.  She smiled and kissed the top of his head lovingly while she moved her hand behind his head to scritch softly between the bases of his ears, illiciting a soft and quiet purr from his muzzle as he too stirred awake in her embrace.  
\tHe yawned adorably with a soft squeak, his eyes barely open as he looks up at Miyu, smiling dreamily, giving her a soft kiss on the lips before giving the end of her muzzle soft and sweet bunny licks and laps with his soft tongue.  Miyu smiled and meowed sweetly at the response, both of their tails wagging happily behind them.  “Morning, my cute beefy kitty,” he said softly.
\t“Morning my sexy cute adora-bun,” she replied.  “How did you sleep?”
\t“Very good,” he said with a smile and a sigh of happiness.  “Thank you for last night.  You... were... incredible.”
\tShe giggled and blushed softly to his words.  “Heehee... I had a feeling you would, but I was... kinda taking a shot in the dark, so I decided to go for it,”  she said.  
\tHe rubbed his nose under her muzzle softly as they continue to lay together.  “Ppprrr... it was a damn good guess, sweetie.  I can't wait to have you do that to me again,” he said dreamily.
\tMiyu kissed his lips softly once more, a hand moving to scritch his cheek softly as she held him close.  They lay together in bed for a bit longer as they cuddled and kissed sweetly several more times.  Miyu then broke the silence by saying, “we should get up and shower and head to a breakfast at Chalmer's.”
\tLeo nodded and softly got up to sit up, wincing a tiny bit as he watched Miyu get up to her feet and out of bed quickly, Miyu whimpering softly a bit as she heard and watched his reaction.  “Aaawww.... I hope I didn't bruise yer butt too badly, hon.... I'm sorryyyyyy...”  she said cutely, blushing deep as Leo giggled at her words, holding her hands in his softly.
\t“Hehehehe...  I'll be okay... may be walking funny for a bit today, but I'll manage,” he said, blushing just as much, the two smiling at each other as they held hands and walked to the shower to clean off.  After they got out of the shower to dry off, they heard messages on their phones, each from General Pepper.

\t“Yay, a week off!” Miyu said giving Leo a tight hug and hopping up and down happily.  “Now we can have a meeting with the parents!”  she said excitedly.
\t“I totally agree! I gotta let my parents know about it soon...” Leo replied.
\t“I already told my parents to prep their place in Corneria City for a big cookout. And I told them meat AND veggies since you're omnivorous,” Miyu said with a smile, winking cutely.
\t“I like that idea.  Gimme their address and I'll send it to my folks and we'll figure out what day to do it,” he said.  “Better there since they are already in the city and don't have to get passes for the Air Force Base.”  
\t“Exactly,” she said.  
\tThey soon replaced the sheets on her bed and put them in the wash bin for laundry and then disembarked the Great Fox to leave the base and into Corneria City.  They walked with arm wrapped around each other softly, heads tilted toward each other.

\t--Chalmer's Diner, Corneria City, 10:36--

\tMiyu and Leo were immediately greeted by their favorite platypus Sid, the short happy man waddling towards them and giving them a warm hug and welcome.  “Welcome back you two!  How's my favorite lynx and bunny?” he asked.
\t“Aaawww thank you, Uncle Sid,” Miyu said sweetly.  “work's been a bit rough getting new places set up and placed down, but they are growing and building as we speak.”
\t“Yeah, the General gave us a week off, thankfully,” Leo replied.
\t“That is good to hear,” Sid replied as he sat them down in one of his coziest booths. “The General is a great man.  He definitely knows how to take care of everyone,” he said as he put silverware, cups that he poured coffee into and offered them menus.  You two know what ya want, or would you like some time to decide?”
\t“Y'know, Uncle Sid,” Miyu started, blushing a bit... “...we worked.... REALLY HARD last night...” giving Leo a wink, the words and her grin making the bunny smile and giggle to himself... “I'm-a have that huge portion chicken fried steak breakfast that you are so awesome at making,” she said with a smile, giving Sid a pat on the back.
\t“Scrambled eggs dry, seasoned potatoes with sausage gravy and sourdough toast and preserves?” he added, knowing her preferences quite well after having her and the rest of the Star Fox Team as regulars in his establishment.
\t“You got it, Uncle Sid,”s he said with a smile.
\t“How bout you Leo?” Sid asked.
\t“Same, but normal portion.  I'm still trying to catch up with how much she eats,” he said grinning.
\tMiyu made a mock gasp and put her hands jokingly on her hips in a defensive stance as she sat across from Leo in the booth.  “What're you saying, I'm fat?” she said, sticking out her tongue adorably.
\t“Nooooo.... I'm saying you require more food, because you are a lotta lovely beefy kitty to love,” Leo said, smiling adorably.  Miyu smiled and blushed happily at Leo's response, and even though he couldn't see behind her, he knew her tail was wagging at that comment, as he knew it was one she dearly loved to hear from him.\t
\t“Okay, okay, he doesn't wanna get beat up, I get it,” Sid said jokingly, making all three of them laugh loudly for several seconds.  “I'll put those orders in, kiddos,” he said as he wobbled off to the kitchen.
\t“He is a treasure,” Miyu said as Sid went off.
\t“He is.  He's very likable,” Leo replied.  He then took a sip of coffee to battle yawning, then reached over to hold Miyu's hand in hers softly, a sensation both of them found great comfort in.  “So umm.... how did you know?  About... last night?” he asked curiously.
\tMiyu smiled, finishing a sip of coffee and putting her cup down.  “Mmmm.... I just kinda figured... after our experience in the shower our first night that you might like it, so I took a chance,” she said, only being half-truthful and not saying anything about Krystal reading his mind.  She figured that was Krystal's idea and she'd let her explain it to him if chance and opportunity warranted that explanation in the future.
\tLeo smiled and nodded with a bit of a blush. “Ooohhh okay.  I was kinda figuring it had something to do with that,” he said.
\tMiyu nodded.  “Y'know... I wanted to ask... and whatever answer you give me is okay, I promise I won't get mad or upset...” she started... “...but... am I your first female in a relationship?”
\tHe smiled, his blush getting a little deeper.  “You are.”
\tMiyu smiled, her hand rubbing his softly as they sat together, their eyes connected once again.  “Have you... had other relationships with men?”
\t“I have.  Three different guys, two relationships.  The first was in a triad, which I now know is totally not worth it, with two guys that later got married.  And the second was with a man that later wanted to change gender,” he said, giving a shrug.  “Not my thing, but to each their own.  Later turned out she wanted nothing more than a sugar daddy and insisted the world revolve around her,” he said with a sigh and a roll of his eyes.  “That and she and I had vastly different ideals about a lot of things, so we broke up.  That was almost three years ago.”
\tMiyu nodded softly, still holding his hand and gently squeezing it a little.  “I'm sorry, Leo. I know how it is for things to not work out on the relationship front.”
\t“How about you, hon?” he asked.  
\tMiyu's smile faded a tiny bit as she sighed slowly.  “Well... I've had 6 or 7 guys since high school, and none of them stuck around for various reasons,” she started.  “Some couldn't stand to be away from me while I was deployed during the war, and others well...”  She was starting to feel saddened by this conversation, but she felt it was important for Leo to know.  She wanted this to work out well with him.  She was sick of being alone.  Her face then took on a bit of a depressed kitten look as she continued... “...the others were either too afraid of me because of my body and others wanted me to become a mother and housewife.”
\tBill was right.  Those bastards... Leo thought, recalling his conversation yesterday with him at site 19.  “Aawww... they do not know who they are missing, Miyu,” he said comfortingly. “And I can understand you not wanting to be a mom, having to sacrifice what you've built up,” he added.
\tShe nodded softly, tilting her head softly a bit in his direction.  “H-how about you, Leo?  Were... I mean... I know it's early in our relationship, but... have you ever thought of kids?” she inquired, hoping to whatever gods there may be that could hear her right now that he would say no.
\tHe paused, then shook his head softly.  “Nah... I've never really looked on myself as a father, sadly,” he said, Miyu sighing deeply inside with immense relief.  
\tShe nodded with a smile.  “Well... then it'll be okay to tell you it's not only because I didn't... WANT kinds...”
\t“Huh...?” Leo said, tilting his head a bit in confusion.
\tShe softly pulled her hand back and lifted her shirt up a bit to expose her abs, then her fingertips rubbed through her fur all the way to her pelt... and then he saw them... a pair of red lines off to the sides of her belly about an inch long.  Having gone through an appendectomy only a decade before, he understood what he was looking at: incision scars.  “I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer at age 14.  I had to have an emergency laparoscopic oophorectomy to prevent it spreading to my liver or kidneys.”
\tThat hit Leo like a massive cargo ship at high speed, making him tear up a bit and whimper softly with limp ears.  “Oh no... I'm sorry, Miyu,” he said softly.
\tShe whimpered softly along with him, quickly putting her shirt back down and reaching for his hands softly to hold them.  “Heeeeey... it's okay, sweetie,” she said calmly.  “I'm here, and I've been cancer free since then, and I'm right here, happy with you.”  She looked into his eyes smiling, Leo looking back up and smiling with her.
\tHe sniffled a tiny bit as he nodded softly.  “I... I was always told heaven was very blue in color...  I just didn't know that it was caused by your gorgeous eyes, Miyu,” he said, blushing deep.  His words made Miyu feel like he made her heart literally melt.  She always loved how he put words into love like that with her.  
\t“Aaawww!  Sweetieeeeee,” she giggled and blushed deep, moving a hand to wipe away tears of joy from her yes, then from his softly.
\t“I even saw it in your eyes when you were... all the way deep into my butt last night, too... your strong body looming over me and pinning me in place like that,” he giggled, holding his hands with hers, the two of them getting up a bit and leaning in towards each other to kiss very softly for several seconds.  “Love you, beefy sweetie kitty,” he said adorably.
\t“Love you, my adora-bun with the hawt bubbly butt,” she said, the two of them giggling softly at their silly nicknames, then sat down.  It was then that Sid came up and placed their food in front of them and they began to eat.  
\tLittle did they know, sitting directly behind Miyu in the next booth was Krystal, softly listening in on their minds and smiling with teary eyes as she sipped a cream soda.  She then drifted her eyes off to Peppy, who was sitting directly across from Krystal.  He was also a telepath, and he had also been tuned into Miyu and Leo, and from listening to it... the elderly rabbit was frozen in place, eyebrow raised, head slightly tilted, his hand lifting a spoon with a bite of an ice cream sundae into his mouth which hung open.  …kids these days are so darn weird... he thought into Krystal's mind, making the blue vixen chuckle quietly.

\t--Three days later, The Lynx Family Home, Corneria City, 14:52--

\t“Oh wow!” Leo said as he drive his car into Miyu's parent's driveway, getting a good look at the rustic outdoors cabin design of their home.  “I absolutely love the way this home looks, Miyu.  I LOVE cabins,” he said smiling wide.
\tMiyu giggled at Leo's excitement and smiled as well.  “Yeah, dad was a forester and harvested a ton of lumber all over Corneria and Fortuna before the wars. And by the way, their names are Lawrence and Patricia,” she reminded him as he put the manual shift of his car into neutral and set the parking brake.
\t“Yep, I remember.  And my parents names are Rob and Judy,” he said softly getting out of the car after turning it off and taking off his seat belt.
\t“Dad said he was curious about your dad because him name was familiar to him,” Miyu said, shrugging a bit as she guided Leo up the driveway and to the front door, knocking on the front door softly.
\tLeo shrugged as well.  “I dunno, maybe we'll find out soon enough,” he said.
\t“By the way, not that you would have a problem, being a rabbit and all, but they love to give hugs.  Especially tight ones from my dad.  I know he'll love you instantly, as he always wanted a son,” she said winking at Leo.
\tThose words of encouragement comforted Leo and erased some of the nervousness of meeting the other parents and potential future in-laws.  The front door soon opened with Patricia at the door.  “Sweetieeeeee,” she said, giving Miyu a hug for several moments and giving cute feline purrs of happiness.  Leo smiled as he noticed she too was also very tall, just like Miyu, his spade tail wagging happily at the sight.  “Aww, and is this my son you've told me so much about, Miyu?” she said as she let go of Miyu and gave Leo a big hug that lasted for many moments.
\t“That's right mom, this is Leo,” Miyu said before she turned around and gave her dad Lawrence a great big hug in the background.
\t“P-pleased to meet you, ma'am,” he said softly, yet still a bit nervously.
\t“Naw, naw, it's 'mom' in here, okay, hon?” she said with a smile before giving him a kiss on each cheek.
\tLeo blushed deeply at the response and unbelievable acceptance. “Hehehe... okay, mom,” he said softly with a wide blushy smile.  His attention then shifted to watching Miyu getting picked up in a big bear hug by her dad... his eyes and smile going wide as he saw that her dad was taller and beefier than she was!  His heart raced a bit quicker as Lawrence smiled and opened up his arms and moved in on Leo.  
\t“There's my soooooon!” Lawrence then wrapped his arms tightly around Leo and leaned back to lift him off his feet what seemed a good foot or so, giving a tight squeeze-hug to make several of his vertebrae pop delightfully in his spine, Leo feebly trying to give as equal of a squeeze-hug in return as Lawrence hopped up and dawn happily a few times.
\t“Hehehe... now now, let the boy have a chance to breathe, Lawrence,” Patricia said, her and Miyu giggling in the background.\t
\tLawrence chuckled happily in response and put Leo down on his feet, softly putting his hands on his shoulders and smiling down at him.  “There, can you breathe now?” Lawrence said with a wink.
\tLeo laughed and nodded.  “Hehe... yeah, dad!” he said happily.  Miyu rejoined Leo by his side as Lawrence and Patricia stood side by side in the living room, Miyu giving Leo a wink as if to say “told ya so.”
\tPatricia motioned to the sofa in the front. “Well sit down, sit down you two, I'm just gonna finish preparing some food to grill out back for dinner tonight,” she said walking off to the kitchen in the background, which due to the layout of the house wasn't entirely out of sight from those in the living room.  Leo liked the design rather a lot.
\tLawrence sat down in his leather recliner across from Miyu and Leo who cuddled happily on the leather living room sofa, Leo feeling infinitely relieved from the incredibly warm welcome from Miyu's parents.  It was when Lawrence was sitting down that Leo was getting a really good look at his form.  Note to self: better to make wedding plans than funeral plans: DON'T PISS OFF HER DAD! Leo thought to himself.
\t“So I take it yer parents will be joining us here soon, Leo?” Lawrence asked.
\t“Yeah, they should only be a few minutes away,” he replied.
\t“You said his name was Robert, right?” Lawrence inquired.
\t“That's right,” he said.
\t“Bit of a shorter rabbit with no chest or neck fluff, same color as you, same hazel eye color?” Lawrence continued.
\t“Y-yes to all,” Leo replied, wondering where this was going.
\t“Hah!  That's gotta be him... he's the only one I know like that I remember,” Lawrence said. It wasn't long before they heard a minivan approach the house and park directly behind Leo's car, the rabbit couple getting out and walking to the front door.  Lawrence noticed them, getting up and smiling, going to the door to answer it.  When Lawrence opened the door, they all stood there for a few seconds, smiles forming on Lawrence's and Rob's face as they then pointed at each other, the two of them saying  simultaneously, “I thought that was you!”  They saluted and gave handshakes and hugs at the door with joyous laughter.  “When Leo said your name, I thought it HAD to be the Rob Cuttridge I remembered from MY past,” he said to the rabbit pair, welcoming them in and closing the door.  Miyu smiled and shrugged at Leo with a confused delight, having no idea their fathers knew each other.
\t“Same here, good buddy!” Rob said. “I can see you are doing really good by the looks of your house... your awesome designs and all that I remember from our days way back when.”
\t“Hehehe Yeah well, I get one design right every once in a while,” Lawrence said in a not-at-all convincingly jest of modesty.
\t“Aw bullshit Lawrence, you ALWAYS get them right,” Rob said with a pat to Lawrence's shoulder and a wink.  “This is my wife Judy,” he continued, motioning to the other rabbit, Miyu recognizing her as Leo had described her in his interview all those months ago, a short lion's-head rabbit, his parents both a snowy white, like Leo.  “Heya son,” he said, giving Leo a hug.
\t“Hey dad, thanks for coming,”
\t“Not a problem, not a problem,” he said, Lawrence giving a handshake and hug to Judy in the background.  Rob then turned his attention to Miyu.  “Lieutenant... Miyu Lynx, do I have that right?” he said with a smile.
\t“Yessir,” she said, smiling back.
\tRob then saluted her properly. “Captain Robert Cuttridge, Cornerian Air Force, retired,” he said.
\t“Oh wow, thank you, Captain,” she replied with a proper salute and a smile.
\tRob put his right arm down and reached out with both, “Alright, enough of that, now yer other dad needs a hug, darlin'.  It's so wonderful to finally meet ya,” he said, hugging onto Miyu happily, the lynx smiling and purring adorably.
\t“Pppprrr... likewise, dad,” she replied.  Releasing the hug from Rob and giving Judy a hug softly.
\t“Such a lovely lynxy you are, sweetheart,” Judy said sweetly.  “I'm so glad you have Leo to be around, he has been so lonely as of late,” she said.
\t“Aaawwww thank you, mom,” Miyu said happily.  She held Leo's right hand in her left as she rejoined him by his side. “Yes, Leo and I have very happily filled a very lonely void in each of our lives.  I have my adora-bun,” she said giving Leo a kiss on his lips.
\t“And I have my buff cutie kitty,” he said kissing her once in return, his parents and Lawrence giving a happy “aaaawwww” in response.  It was then that Patricia came into the room, drying her hands off after washing them softly.
\t“And here's my lovely wife Patricia.  Hon, this is Leo's parents, Rob and Judy,” Lawrence said.
\tShe came in and gave Leo's parents a nice hug and nuzzle of the cheek as she smiled sweetly. “Hello Rob and Judy, it is so very nice to finally meet you both,” she said.
\t“You as well darlin,” Rob said.
\t“So how do you know Rob, dad?” Miyu asked in curiosity.
\t“Well, about ten years before you and Leo were born and before Andross started causing problems in Lylat, there was a huge forest fire on the opposite side of Corneria that was started by a giant thunderstorm,” Lawrence explained.  “On the edge of that forest zone was a small settlement that was largely wiped out from the fire.  Rob and I were deployed there to help rebuild it.  I was working in forestry when he was a Sargent.”
\t“That's right! His timber firm supplied the lumber and my regiment and I helped in the rebuilding process.  That's where we met first,” Rob said.  
\t“Yep.  Hey, why don't we head outside?  We got a lovely back yard with some shaded seating by a fire pit and a small pond to enjoy,” Lawrence suggested.
\t“You guys go ahead,” Patricia said.  “I'm still preparing some food, so if we can get the fire pit going now, we can eat soon.”
\t“I can help get that going,” Leo said.
\t“Do you need some help in the kitchen, dear?  I would love to help you out,” Judy said to Patricia.
\t“That would be lovely,” she said.  “I'm fixing a bunch of spicy chicken, beef kabobs, potatoes au gratin, and some street side style mixed veggies.”
\tJudy went to help out Patricia with food while the others went out into the back yard.  Upon first glance, the huge green yard looked more like a royal arbor more than anything, tall cottonwood trees surrounding the entire yard providing great shade, a small pond sat in one corner of the lawn with a relief in the middle that had a waterfall in it powered by a water pump in the base of the fountain.  Nearby was the fire pit, a 3 foot wide bowl with a grilling grate over it, made entirely of large cemented river rocks, all of the seating surrounding it in a circle.  
\tLeo noticed the wood pile by the side of a small shed nearby and grabbed some cut wedges of wood and put them into a canvas carrier.  He didn't see any kindling or any small pieces of wood, but he did notice a bunch of cottonwood seeds that had fallen from the trees over the last few days had fallen and created a thick line of seeds, which Leo picked up a few handfuls and put them on top of the wood in the carrier.
\tHe then carried the wood over to the side of the fire pit, set it down on the outside rim and grabbed a couple pieces, one smaller than the other.  He then reached into his pocket and got his folding knife and opened the blade and used it to chop small pieces of wood from the bigger piece using the smaller piece as a striker on the blade.  After the big piece of wood was all small pieces, he then set them in the middle of the fire pit, placing the handfuls of cottonwood seed in the middle at the base.  Leo then unscrewed a cap at the base of his knife and pulled out a ferro rod about 3 inches long and a 1/4” thick, then placed it at the base where the seeds were, then slid his knife blade along the ferro rod, creating sparks that landed on the seeds and started a fire which set the rest of the wood ablaze softly.
\tMiyu, Lawrence and Rob clapped and cheered Leo on the creation of the fire.  “That was really neat, hon!  I didn't know you could do that,” Miyu said.
\t“Yeah, I learned all that from that Survivalman show.  I've been a big fan of that since it was new,” he said.
\t“Aww yeah, Lester Crowder is an awesome guy,” Rob said.  “Great musician, too.  Didn't you go to see him perform live at Corneria City once, son?”
\t“Yup, about five years ago.  Really amazing to meet him,” Leo said.
\t“I'd love to go see him some day. He seems like a really friendly guy,” Lawrence said.
\t“He really is.  Is was definitely a bucket list item for me to cross off to met him in person,” Leo said with a smile.  As the smaller pieces of wood began to really take flame, Leo then began to add bigger pieces of wood to fuel the fire and create more coals to cook with later.
\t“So I understand the tent cities have come up really fast and with little problem?” Lawrence inquired.
\t“Oh yes, Leo's and my contributions led to everything going up to smoothly and quickly.  General Pepper said he was incredibly pleased with how everything was going so far,” Miyu responded, wrapping an arm around Leo and pulling him in close to cuddle with her on the bench in front of the fire. He smiled and wrapped his arms around her chest and rested his head on her shoulder, Miyu smiling and nuzzling the top of his head sweetly and giving a kiss there.  “Mwah.  Mine,” she said cutely.
\t“Yours,” he said just as adorably.
\t“So what did you do during the war, Miyu?” Rob asked her.
\t“I was a forward scout and anti-fighter craft pilot for the Star Fox team,” she responded with a smile.\t
\t“Oh wow, lucky you, girl!” Rod replied joyously.  “That must be quite a thrill to work with all those team members.”
\t“It is!  Falco can be a bit too much to handle from time to time, but they are all really good people,” Miyu said.  She smiled a bit wider as she felt Leo's hand rubbing over her six-pack abs slowly, her hand wrapped around him moving to softly scritch under his muzzle softly as they sat together.
\t“What did you fly? I mean, if you're permitted to talk about it, that is,” Rob said, knowing well that certain things in the military are not to be known outside of certain circles.  
\t“Mine is actually a one-off prototype model which was considered a precursor to the current Arwing X-03, and it is called the Arwing X-Interceptor.  It's the fastest and most reflexive craft known in the group,” she said.  “It really never got serious use until I joined the team, sadly.  Fox, Peppy and Slippy aren't big fans of it.  Falco said he liked it, but sadly it takes as much damage as it deals, so one has to be really quick with it.”
\tThe four continued to sit around the fire chatting about various things for at least another hour or so before there were a sufficient amount of hot coals to scrape over onto one section of the cooking grate.  Leo raked them over to that one side as Patricia and Judy came out of the house with platters of food to cook.  The sizzle and smell of food grilling suddenly filled the air, making everyone hungrier in an instant.  Chatter continued with Judy and Patricia joining in, sitting beside their respective spouses.  Lawrence got up and brought a cooler with salty ice water in it chilling cans of soda and bottles of beer and water along with a bottle of white sweet wine for Judy and Patricia as they sat around by the fire, relaxing in the beautiful Cornerian summer weather and conversing about random things.
\tOnce the food was all done cooking, they all gathered plates and dished up all of Patricia's delicious cooking, everyone enjoying every bite of it all.  Miyu and Leo sat together on the bench being adorable lovebirds as they ate, making the cutest gestures and motions every now and then as they ate.  They would put forkfuls of food into each other maws, placing bites of food in their lips, both nibbling on the food all the way until their lips met and kissed in the middle and other such adorable notions of love.  Lawrence and Patrica as well as Rob and Judy all smiled as they sat across from their children and watched, all four of them very happy that their kids were very happy together, reminding them of their youths when they were in love together as well.
\tMore hours of conversation ticked by as they all ate, drank and celebrated happily, the late afternoon giving way to evening with a gentle parade of fireflies flying all around them, gently lighting up the darkening skies, the sound of the small waterfall in the fountain adding to the environment to make it serene and relaxing.  By the time the entire sun set below the horizon, several yawns of sleepiness entered into their heads, signaling the end of the get together, everyone giving many more handshakes and hugs as Rob and Judy prepared to depart to head home.  Once they were in their minivan and driving off, Leo and Miyu walked arm in arm from the driveway up to the Lynx house, walking in thru the front door as Patricia finished throwing trash away, settling dishes in the dishwasher and storing leftovers in the refrigerator.  
\t“Well, that was a wonderful time meeting your parents, Leo.  We MUST do this again in the future when you are both available to do so,” Patricia said, drying her hands off with a towel.
\t“You betcha,” said Lawrence.  “That was such a thrill to see your dad again. I'm glad he's doing well.”
\t“Yeah, it was an amazing night, for sure.  Thank you so much for doing it all for us, si-- umm... dad,”  Leo replied, blushing a bit, the reaction making Lawrence chuckling softly.
\t“You guys gonna stay here tonight?  May as well save you a drive in the dark,”  Lawrence suggested, but Miyu was already taking Leo's hands in her own and gently pulling him deeper into the house towards the stairs up to the bedrooms.
\t“Yeah, we're gonna stay here tonight, daddy,” Miyu said smiling.  “Think we're tired enough to head up now,” she said as she guided Leo up the stairs, giving him a sultry wink.
\t“We will be too, very shortly,” Patricia said.  “It's been a loooooong happy day for us all.  You two sleep well, and we'll see you both in the morning.”
\t“Yer daddy needs a hug here, my little kitten,” Lawrence said, holding out his arms to Miyu, hugging her in one arm and Leo in his other, giving them both a gentle squeeze.  “Good night you two.  Sleep well.”
\t“Nini daddy,” Miyu said sweetly giving her dad a smooch on the cheek.
\t“G'nite, mom, dad,” Leo said with a smile, blushing a bit.  He then turned towards Miyu just as she bent down a little bit, reached behind him to give his bubbly bunny butt a squeeze, then lifted him off his feet effortlessly, making him hug his legs around her waist as she hauled him off to her bedroom.  “Heehee.... mine,” she said, smiling up at her rabbit lover, to which he happily replied, “Yours.”
\tMiyu pushed the door to her bedroom open and gently set Leo onto his feet again, then went to close the door gently and lock it, her grin sly and mischievous.  She then walked over to Leo, gently pressing against his body with hers as she kissed his lips sweetly and softly for many seconds, her hands working on unbuttoning his clothes, his hands joining in to remove her clothes in his hands as well.
\tAs she unbuttoned his shirt and removed it from his torso, his hands were busy removing her small jacket and unzipping her leotard down the middle, her breasts softly spreading the zippered edges apart, her abs coming out soon after as he then slipped her leotard towards her back and down her sides, leaving her naked up top quickly.  Her hands then moved to his belt line and undid his belt, pants button and zipper, letting his pants fall to the floor to expose his waist wearing a black satin thong that held in his big bulge, his hands doing the same to her pants so he could pull her leotard the remainder of the way down her thighs and then to the ground, his sexy kitty now completely naked before him as she tugged his thong gently downwards to leave him standing just as naked.  
\tThey kissed for a bit more as they stood together, their hands roaming over all their bodies and curves, giving softly squeezes and gropes to their butts and chests before softly breaking the kiss.  Miyu moved to one side of the bed, pulled the covers down and slipped in and rested herself up on her big pillow before reaching over the bed and pulling the covers down on the other half, beckoning him into bed as she lay there.  Leo smiled and softly crawled into bed, pulling the covers over them both as he snuggled in by Miyu on his side, wrapping his arms around her as he rest his head on her shoulder, the couple's favorite position to sleep in anymore, loving the fact they never move at all and sleep the whole way thru the night.  
\tLeo smiled and tilted his head up and kissed Miyu on the lips sweetly.  “G'nite, my sweetie kitty,” he said softly with a happy sigh of bliss.
