At one point, I even tried to end my own life. The voices in my head were the only ones who listened. Music like this did help sometimes, yes, but I don't think I showed real signs of improvement until a bit into my adult life.\n\nI'm not going to pretend everything is always great. I mean, I experience wild mood swings, I still have depression and anxiety, I have memory issues, I doomcast, I have suicide ideation, etc. I'm still [i]pretty[/i] fucked in the head. But at the end of the day, I want to live, and I am getting better every day, and I owe so much of it to the wonderful support network I have now, internal and external, friends and partners.\n\nI'm glad that my attempt failed. I wouldn't have gotten to meet all the wonderful people that I have, or have the good experiences, or watch myself grow into something resembling a functional person.
