Part 1 On a hot summer day in Akala Island, a female Cinderace had decided it would be a good idea to get out of the house for a little while, and decided it was a perfect opportunity to relax at one of the nearby beaches, bringing along her young Raboot son with her. Right now, she was laying back in one of the beach chairs with an umbrella providing some shade, occasionally looking up and over to make sure that Raboot was doing alright. And he was, the little one having just sat down close by with a shovel and pail next to him, getting ready to build an awesome sandcastle. He wasn't really wearing any clothing asides a pair of blue swim trunks dotted with multiple prints of Chinchous and Lanturns. However, what you couldn't see, is that stitched in underneath these trunks is a reusable diaper. Now, Raboot is potty trained for the most part, but he has kind of a history of holding it in longer than he should, and in the past, distractions have resulted in a few accidents. So his mother felt it wouldn't hurt to come a little extra prepared for accidents, and spare him any potential public embarrassment. Speaking of which...just as Raboot begins to scoop up some sand, he begins to feel some familiar pressure hit his bladder. But instead of notifying mommy right away, he feels as though he can hold it another few minutes, and gets to developing the foundation. However, will he be right to trust his feeling...or will he start fidgeting and become a bit squirmy quicker than he expects, and have this be noticed by his mother? Part 2 Although he had no intention of using them on purpose, Raboot then remembered that his mother had told him that these swim diapers are not meant to hold in any pee, only poop, and because of that, to make sure he didn't wait until the last second to tell her he needed to empty his bladder. So for now, he chooses to keep playing. It's not urgent yet, so why bother? Progress on building the sand castle continues, the fire bunny even pulling his collar down at some point, and generally enjoying himself. A few other kids come over to his creation and are impressed by what they see, one Chinchou even helping him with a small part, Raboot being thankful. Another five to ten minutes pass by, and the castle is finished! Raboot claps his paws in excitement, and just as he gets up, ready to run back to his mom...he feels a sudden pang hit, almost making him fall backwards. But after that, he heads back over Cinderace, and getting her attention by gently poking her arm, she asks him with a smile what it is he wants. Another pang hits Raboot's bladder, this one being sharper than the last, so he finds himself in a little bit of a dilemma on what to do next...show her the creation he's proud of, or let her know of how much needs to go? Part 3 After a few seconds of thinking, the fire bunny made his choice, telling her to take a look at the castle he had created! Cinderace sits up out of her beach chair and takes a look to her left, her son's creation coming into view almost instantly. She smiles at seeing it, and turns to face Raboot, telling him he did an awesome job on it, then giving him a few head pats. He can't help but blush at the praise, and his need to relieve himself has intensified a bit more, Raboot beginning to fidget a little. His mother takes notice of this after another minute, and frowns, wishing he had told her he needed to pee a few minutes sooner. Thankfully, he's not about to burst at any second, so Cinderace calmly gets up and grabs his left hand, beginning to lead him to the nearest restroom she can find. There doesn't appear to be any buildings particularly indicative of one, but she does see a Chinchou off in the distance, appearing to be in the middle of cleaning up some sort of mess made by a visitor that has just left. Perhaps in spite of how young he looks, he could be of use in finding a nearby toilet? They could only hope, as they begin walking up to him... Part 4 The two of them stop after a few more steps, deciding to wait and let Chinchou clean up the mess. While they can't hear what he's muttering under his breath, it's obvious he isn't in a good mood. Not a big deal to them, though. Once he's finished, they walk up to him, asking where the nearest bathroom is. He points off to his left, informing them that he heard that over the hill, there's a few bathrooms that were recently installed to help accomodate an increase in tourism. Cinderace and Raboot thank him for telling them before he finishes his sentence, and begin to make the climb up, which isn't too bad.. The urge to pee isn't going away, however, and the fire bunny is almost at the verge of squirming. Cinderace pets his head, telling him that it's okay, and he'll be able to relieve himself in just a minute. Or so she thought. Upon climbing up the hill, they are happy to find a building resembling a hut, with two doors (one on each end), and a water fountain. Raboot is quick to let go of his mother's paw and run towards the door on the left, Cinderace having to catch up with him. He gets the door open, and runs inside, however, his happiness turns to sheer disappointment. There are no toilets here - only showers! His mother is also rather displeased, but they do take a chance and see if the other room has any toilets, or even a urinal available. Nope...just showers. Cinderace is rather frustrated to say the least, however, she isn't mad at that Chinchou. Considering he looked no older than ten, and very new to beach work, which was likely a way for him to gain allowance, it's likely that he didn't exactly know these weren't intended for one to go potty in yet. And there's still Raboot's potty emergency to tend to, the fire bunny now squirming around in place. For a second, his mother wonders if she shouldn't tell him to just go in the drain, but has a feeling that the second he starts doing just that, someone will walk in and see that, and they might both get in plenty of trouble, so she scratches that option off the list. What other solution was there at this point to prevent Raboot from leaking? Part 5 (Final) While it seems a bit risky, something comes to Cinderace's mind. She quickly grabs Raboot and holds in in her arms, then beginning to walk back towards the hill. When he asks her what she's doing, she tells him that they're going back to the beach. Before he can ask again, she tells him that if he makes it, to just go ahead and pee in the water. He does protest her idea some, but Cinderace tells him that there aren't a lot of Pokemon in the water at this moment, so he should have nothing to worry about, and it should go with little to no issues. As they head back down, the fire bunny is still a bit hesitant, but his mom still tries to calm him down about the idea. And after feeling yet another sharp pang, he changes his mind and decides to go along with it, much to his mother's relief. Once the downhill climb is complete, Cinderace runs toward the water as quickly as she can, careful not to run into any rocks or beach chairs, or her son's sand castle, and once her feet touches water, she slows down, waiting until her feet are in just deep enough before getting her son's swim trunks off, and gently setting him down in the water, rubbing his head and telling him it's okay to let it out now. Given that the water is up to his waist, it's highly unlikely anyone will notice. So without hesitation, he relaxes and finally lets go into the water, sighing with relief as he does so. His mother stands by and waits for him to finish, which judging by the look on his face, might be a little while. And it is, Raboot's bladder finally emptying after three minutes. Feeling much better and telling his mother just that, she gives him a smile and pats his head, apologizing that he had to wait a bit on relieving himself. Raboot assures her that it's okay, and is just grateful he made it without leaking. As they walk back out of the water, the swim trunks being pulled back up, Cinderace reminds him that regardless of the circumstances, to never hold it in until the last second again. The fire bunny promises he won't, and with that settled, he quickly runs off to go and find a beach ball to have some fun with, his mother calling out for him to be careful. -End-
