"description": "The sky rumbled as dark clouds hung overhead. Flashes of lightning were witnessed as it forked through the clouds. It added to the ominous atmosphere of a castle that was in the heart of untamed land. It belonged to “The Queen” to which many surmised is responsible for the unusual weather throughout the area. Caught beneath an endless, dry thunderstorm, magenta colored fog lingered over the lowest points, and most aquatic points of the area. \n\nWhile the castle remained visible through the surrounding forest, a seemingly endless expanse of it, it was a tough journey to and from the castle perched within the wood. The journey itself, the unusual weather occurrences, and the threat that lay within the castle’s walls were enough to deter both the smart, and the brave away from being foolhardy. It wasn’t always effective however.\n\nA druidic panda had found her way through. She remained undeterred despite the journey, despite the weather, and despite the sentries she met along the way. She made it through, and stood at the drawbridge that’d take her across, to the large double doors that awaited her, and into the castle. \n\nThe spires positioned around the castle’s walls and battlements lacked a distinctive presence upon them: there were no archers to keep watch. Unmistakable in their form with their metallic bodies reflecting the flashes of light from above, and always giving the impression of someone watching. They had keener eyes than their footsoldier counterparts.\n\nDespite there being a distinct lack of archers, guards nonetheless patrolled the walls and spires. Some stared down at the panda while others vanished into the castle. All were clad in medieval gear, sporting similar weapons of the era despite being robots. They had little quirks to each of them, mainly with the footsoldiers being far more durable than that of the archers.\n\n“Looks like they were expecting me,” Latch mused. The faded green shawl she wore came off, dropped onto the dirt as she clapped dirt, and dust off her gloves. A blue cheongsam was revealed, trimmed with gold as rough looking leather on her forearms, and legs were exposed. Padded bits of leather were strapped to her right shoulder, colored white, golden, and brown. She breathed a heavy sigh, and rolled her shoulders, then her head to loosen up.\n\nHer hands then went to her waist and undid the straps to her scabbard, tied to the cloth band around her waist. Her sword was withdrawn and the scabbard was swiftly tossed aside, into the waters below. “Heavily armored though,” she mumbled, twirling her blade in a quick flourish to let muscle memory kick itself into gear once more. “Shouldn’t be hard to deal with them, so long as there aren’t any archers about.”\n\nTightening the grip around her straight sword, the panda plodded across the bridge. Neither knights, nor grunts pushed open the door to stop her. To her astonishment, it was left unlocked. \n\nThe double doors parted as she wedged her sword in, then her hand, using a bit of the vines hidden beneath her clothing, to take their strength. What was a struggle, became questionably easy as she drew the doors open. She was allowed further entry without contest.\n\nWalls flanked her as she entered, stone, and gray to her left and right. The walls quickly opened up, becoming a courtyard with wagons, an unused stable, and what looked like a small area looking like a smithy of some sort. Throughout the area, she could see several guards positioned throughout, some on and heading up a set of stairs to wooden catwalks, and others on the ground patrolling.\n\nHer moment of uncontested entry was now over.\n\nShe locked eyes with one of the guards, their eyes glowing a pale purple, and their armor having a distinctive purple and blackish coloration to their armor. He-... it reached for a mace, and shield nearby. Two other guards caught on in seconds, despite the distance between them. One at the bottom of the stairs, and another that was looking to resume a route inside, drew their weapons. Their voices were in synchronicity.\n\n“Halt!” They barked. “In the name of her grace!” \n\nArmor clinked and rumbled as the robots trudged to the panda. They surrounded her, two positioning themselves just beyond her peripheral to her left and right, and one off-center in front of her. \n\nThe panda’s eyes carried over, and up the staircase. The forms upon them were no more, but a trio of robots now presented themselves against the railings, just beneath the overhang above their heads. Their gazes were fierce, but they remained observant, clutching their left arms for some unknown reason. These were no ordinary archers she met out in the woods...\n\n“Identify yourself!” The three guards before the panda barked again, trying to get her attention.\n\nLatch cocked her head, bemused. “This is… Queen Sophie’s castle?” She asked aloud, staring at the guard in front of her, noting his plated armor. Her sword was angled towards the ground, her arm hanging behind her with it. \n\n“Identify yourself!” The guards repeated. Clicks were heard as plates were adjusted. The other robots upon the battlements had an eerie glow to their eyes now. How threatening.\n\n“No, I won’t.” The panda swiveled her head from left to right, noting the positions of the other two guards behind her... and charged at the one in front of her. \n\nA shield was raised to stop her, and the mace was raised behind the robot for a strike. The panda put her weight and a braced arm against the shield, maneuvering herself out of the way as she rolled across it. Momentum carried her to the edge, and with one fluid motion, she exchanged hands with her sword, and whipped her sword around as she no longer was pushing the robot back. Stumbling back a couple steps, she witnessed her handiwork: a clean, and decisive strike that cleaved through the robot’s neck. The robot’s head hit the soil with a clattering of its helm.\n\nSparks flew, and her fur stood on end from the brief surge of electricity as she caught herself.\n\nWhen she turned around fully to ride out what remained of her momentum, she witnessed the robot’s corpse hitting the soil, and the two still already positioning themselves to flank her from opposite sides. She glanced between them as they circled like hawks in perfect synchronicity again. The same trick wouldn’t work twice; robots overanalyzed situations, so unpredictability was on her side.\n\nShe focused, redirecting it to vines that were wrapped loosely around her beneath her clothing. She felt them wither, and in turn, she felt her a rush all throughout her body. \n\nShe breathed out a sigh, and lunged for the one who circled around her left. Metal was bent, and her right hand held the top of the shield, crushing the metal between her fingers and thumb. The robot was straining against her, staring at her. Violet eyes glowed brighter, and its weapon, a sword, was brought down onto the panda. \n\nShe pulled at the shield, not only taking it off, but the knight’s arm off with it. Sparks flew anew, and the robotic knight seized for but a second. It was just enough time to act.\n\nShe spun, and let loose the shield and its arm from her hand with a roar. The opposing knight was sent reeling from the impact, even destroying the motor and servos within the arm holding its shield. It now hung from bits of wire and loose bits of metal that kept it together, just barely. \n\nHer momentum finished carrying her around. Her upper half twisted while her lower remained rooted, canceling the twirl. Facing the now armless robot anew, it’d recovered. It’s eyes glowed and affixed onto the panda; it’s sword, drawn back, was brought down with force. The panda countered, twisting her arm and wrist to bat away the strike with the flat side of her sword. \n\nShe side-stepped, passing the strike off to the side as sparks flew from the grinding of metal. She pulled her arm back as the blade rattled down to her hand. She huffed, and jammed her sword into the open socket that was once its arm, blade then appearing from the side of the robot’s neck. It spasmed in response, and its eyes lost its glow, flickering dimly.\n\nPulling the sword out, a slice was followed up that took off the head, repeating the motions of the last robot as it soon fell over. Lubricant was flicked off, and the panda approached the other knight who was already on its feet again. The shield arm was hanging limp, having another shield partially imbedded in its own.\n\nThe emotionless expression of the knight enlarged in view as it closed the gap. One slice, a thrust, another slice. The panda dodged, and weaved around the motions it gave with its sword. It attempted a headbutt, trying to stun the panda, but that only gave her the opportunity she needed as she drove the sword through its head at an angle. The purple lights died out, and it fell to the ground with the sword in it. \n\nReaching to pull her sword free from the corpse, a searing pain pierced through her hand and reverberated up her arm. She recoiled her hand away instinctively, grimacing and seething. She whipped her head over to the battlements, all the while clutching her hand as blood flowed from the wound. A smoking barrel, coming from the arm of one of the robots, was seen. Its eyes glowed a dark shade of red.\n\n“Killshots inadvisable; subdue intruder with non-lethal hits,” the robot who’d just shot, echoed. \n\nThe panda clutched her right hand with a snarl. The other two machines had their left arms split open as a long barrel presented itself, now aimed at the panda. She blanched. “You’ve got to be kidding…”\n\nStill having the strength, and speed coursing through her from her plants, she immediately bolted. Searing heat, and spikes of pain were felt across multiple points of her body, primarily her arms and legs as she sprinted across the courtyard. She aimed for the first door she saw, ignoring the pain spiking up all over her, and huffed. She braced her arms up as wood, stone, and metal had their finer details enlarged with each passing second. When it was close, she leapt, sending debris everywhere\n\nThe world spun, and she tumbled. Rolling up against the wall, ramming a shoulder against it, she gasped, and slumped against it. Her everything ached, and her once dusty attire was now stained with an uncomfortable crimson. She groaned, and began to inspect herself. Several grazes, and two clean shots through her right leg. \n\nShe focused again, and held her breath. The plants wrapped around her withered, becoming dust as wounds were closed, flesh was mended, and any damage done internally, was restored. She sighed, and got up, quickly noting she was in a long hall, and scanned up and down it as a few doors were scattered about in either direction. \n\nThe two immediate paths available to her meant she had a choice, one she couldn’t consider. The sounds of armor clunking and rattling from where she came from carried into the room. She glanced to her left, then her right. The closer corner she could round was to her left, with the right being a longer hall that led to an intersection. Her choice was already made.\n\nRising to her feet, the panda sprinted, rounding the corner, and immediately putting herself into cover. The hall that awaited her was devoid of movement, save for the one butler tending to some plants within the hall, watering them, and spending a little too much time examining them. Once he was finished, he paused as it stared at the bloodied panda’s outfit, and mended wounds. It locked eyes with her, stood stock still for a second, then ran. \n\nIt rounded a corner of an intersection further up the hall, and a distant slamming of a door was heard further ahead. \n\nBeyond the minor interaction, and obstacle that handled itself, the hall would continued straight, leading to the intersection that the robot butler fled beyond. Doors were visible to her left and right along the way, and in peeking into each of them, empty bunks, sacks and crates of supplies, and locked doors were all that she was greeted with. Hiding in the former two to wait for things to pass was a non-option.\n\nHeading beyond the intersection, but not before taking a few of the plants with her by pulling them out by the roots, she broke right this time as she saw guards in the opposite hall, one door did stand out for the panda, forcing her to pause and give a few seconds to take it all in. It was nothing like she’d seen before. Tech lines traced down it, colors being a distinctive purple, and darker gray. Her ears flicked, hearing the thunderous steps of guards quickling gaining ground on her. She didn’t have time to examine it further.\n\nBreaking into a sprint, she was forced around a corner up the hall. Rounding it, she saw the opposite end of the hall, leading to another corner, further up ahead. Along the way, attached to the left side of her route, was an archway with an ornate set of double doors that stretched to the ceiling with the arches. A couple doors along the right side of the hall bore no fruit; locked, and showing no signs of opening without forced entry. \n\nShe didn’t want to accidentally corner herself in a dead end. \n\nIgnoring the ornate double doors of wood, she continued up the hall, and soon skid to a halt. Her ears flicked again, and thunderous steps echoed down the hall, coming her way. She looked back, seeing shadows cast along the wall from the opposite hall. She cursed, and backed to the ornate double doors.\n\nTo her left and right, flanked on each side, the guards were coming closer and closer. Before she knew it, both sides demanded for her to stop. Their voices were once again at the same volume, and the same timing of delivery. The panda snorted, and stared at the double doors. Ornate as they were, she knew that beyond the doors were either the Queen of this castle herself, or some sort of grand hall within these aged walls.\n\nThe plants around her withered, her body coursed with energy, and she stepped to the door. She pushed. Something was bumped, and pressed against on the other side. There was no time to consider her options.\n\nRaising her fist, she heaved it back, then arced it forward. She grit her teeth as she aimed for the center, where the wood met the metal, and where the metal met with the opposite door. A spike of pain coursed up her knuckles, and an explosive force blew the doors wide open. There was a shudder, and light groan from the structure; one of the doors embedded themselves into the wall from the sheer force of entry, the other flew, and left a trail of destruction in the form of holes, ruts, and debris from more of the knights until it hit the far wall of the chamber within.\n\nThe panda walked in, greeting a formation of guards that awaited her. They were within a phalanx, now broken slightly, but quickly formed a less than tight variant of it. They’d anticipated her to come this way.\n\nBehind her, guards formed a wall of bodies at the entrance of the room. Shoulder to shoulder, they prevented entry, and exit. She was surrounded.\n\nLatch cursed something beneath her breath, and looked up to the guards before her, noting that neither side, the front or back, had advanced upon her. The middle most, and a more ornate looking guard with some plates of gold mixed with the various shades of purple, spoke up. \n\n“The Queen has demanded your presence. Your display of strength, skill, and agility has garnered her interest,” it said coldly, cooly. The formation then opened up parting with an odd number of guards on both sides. They took several steps back, allowing her entry further into the room.\n\nHer gaze carried forward, and around the chamber. She noticed the pillars supporting the room, four on each side, and how one had been outright shattered from the door she sent across the room. Ahead of her, her eyes met with a plush looking carpet of purple and black, to a throne. A figure she didn’t notice before was seated upon the throne; a monarch who’d taken so many people before her.\n\nShe was different from what she’d normally seen: a purple spike protruding from her chest, and feet en pointe with heels to keep her aloft. A shiny choice of vestments was worn around the spike, leading to what looked like shining bits of cloth pooling at the foot of her throne. Purple eyes glowed, blinking, and showing immense life behind them. Everything about her was either purple, including her hair, to something off-purple -- faded, and with a bit of silver trimming. The one thing that stood out was the strange symbol upon her crotch, something she could barely see at a distance, including the black little spot above the chest spike.\n\nA clear, ornate wine glass was held in her hand. One leg crossed over the other, leaning on one of the armrests with her head in her hand, she idly swirled an oily black substance within her glass. “Ah, finally,” her voice boomed from everywhere, and nowhere at once; clear, despite the distance, “the mouse has stepped closer to the cat~. Tell me, what brings you here all by yourself?”\n\nLatch shut her eyes tight and shook her head. She felt something worming its way into her mind, something that wasn’t supposed to be there. With her past experiences with psychics, she drew her thoughts elsewhere, of nonsense and idle dreams, distracting the presence. Without missing a beat, she raised her head up at the Queen. “I’m here to put an end to your tyranny. I’m here to free those that you’ve enslaved, and to end your torment on the neighboring towns.”\n\nThe panda raised her right hand, flexing her first as she rubbed tenderly at the knuckles.\n\nThe monarch broke into a guffaw. The liquid in her glass bobbed about as she rolled her head back in joviality at the notion. “Yo- you can’t be serious!” She mocked with a titter. “You’re formidable on your own, but you’re like all the rest who’ve come before you.”\n\nThe Queen straightened herself up in her seat and set her glass aside. She looked across the room to the panda patiently. “You’ve come it end it in violence, yes? Like all the others tried to do?”\n\nShe stared hard across the room to the Queen. She ceased in nursing her knuckles and lowered her stance, putting her fists up in front of herself. “Keen observation, Sophie” she replied.\n\n“Ahh, so you’ll end it in violence then. How barbaric.” Sophie stood up from her throne, taking a few short steps down to be at level with the rest of the room. She sauntered across the room, grinning with amusement. “You’ll need everything you have, and a little extra to go against me, so please, arm yourself~.” She finished with a lilt to her voice.\n\nBy the panda, a guard would step up, his face impassive and expressionless as he drew the sword from his scabbard. The silence was made all the more apparent as the clicking of the Queen’s feet, and the shuffling of the panda were heard thereafter. Taking the sword, finding it to be lightweight, but not of remarkable quality upon brief inspection she tensed as the guard stood back up. Its face was unfocused on her, staring beyond the panda as it stepped back into its place in line.\n\nFacing the approaching Queen, Latch watched as a strange set of plugs had appeared behind her, wavering about. Thin, purple, and with silver spikes on the ends. They were curious as they were intimidating.\n\nSophie was the one to close the gap, being on the offensive. One of the plugs lunged forward at the panda, patient, and waiting for the first strike. \n\nThe sword was tucked close to her head, deflecting the spike off the angled blade and going by the wayside. Latch was nudged by the force, reacting with a straight kick that was aimed for Sophie’s midsection. \n\nThe Queen reached out, grabbing onto the ankle of the panda with a grin. As she was about to jab a spike in, the wayward spike she’d briefly forgotten about had sparks fly. The sword in Latch's hand was now out alongside her, ready to be brought down with her fake out succeeding.\n\nA series of short pings echoed throughout the chamber, electricity crackling alongside it as the first of two spikes bounced, rolled, and eventually stopped upon the floor. \n\nSophie sneered. Both of her hands grabbed a hold of the panda’s ankle, pulling it upward. She watched as Latch’s eyes went wide with surprise, tumbling her onto her back, head over heels with a grunt in front of the Queen.\n\nEyes averting upward, Latch was met with the Queen lunging down upon her. A quick priming of her sword, angling it to meet her was far too staggered of a strike. It pushed off her plates, nicking her, but accomplishing nothing further. The immediacy of the weight that was upon her made her realize that her strength had waned almost entirely by now. \n\nBalling her left hand into a tight fist, despite feeling hands upon her shoulders, the panda pushed one off, freeing her left arm. She grit her teeth, and threw a heavy punch to the side of Sophie’s head. The Queen blinked as her head was rocked, and the purple lights in her eyes flickered. A sizable dent was left behind, but it only succeeded in making the ruler more angry.\n\n“How dare you…” Sophie seethed, her eyes and attention refocusing down at the panda.\n\nThe panda’s hand shook as she stared defiantly up at Sophie. She grimaced, and was prepared to take the ruler down with her. She struggled below Sophie, shifting despite the metallic frame atop her. The sword was angled, and all she had to do was drive it through…\n\nA plug then lashed out, gripping Latch’s right arm in a vice. It squeezed, and she gasped, moaning in pain as her head raised with it. \n\nSophie listened and smiled as the panda cried out in pain as her wrist was twisted back, forcing her to drop the sword. “A good try… better than most, but this changes nothing.”\n\nWith one arm bound, and the other suffering from the recoil of her hit, she was left at the mercy of the ruler. She could do nothing but cry out as her arm was twisted, and pain became prevalent once more. When she opened her eyes, she could see Sophie grinning down at her. She heaved through her teeth as her arm was pulled forcibly, stiff, and straight before the ruler, raising her head up to the robot.\n\n“Now, I can’t have you injuring yourself any further, so let’s make sure you can’t fight anymore, hm?” She chided, her smile still remaining bright. Leaning in, she bit down into the panda’s neck, forcing a chemical concoction into her system meant to numb her muscles. \n\nSeconds passed, and she pulled free, giggling down at the now defenseless panda. When she noticed the panda ceasing her struggles, incapable of controlling them any longer, she brushed a hand against the panda’s cheek. “I’m so sorry it had to come to this, but you’ve brought this on yourself. You’ve lost, just like the rest,” Sophie crooned.\n\nLatch struggled to mouth anything, finding even words hard to formulate beyond a discontented grunt. To her surprise, Sophie’s arms held both sides of the panda’s head tenderly, keeping it straight as she leaned in, eyes shut. Cold, metallic lips met her own, keeping her thoughts and body seized further with surprise. \n\nLatch grunted, sputtering into the kiss as her eyes widened. Pain came from the back of her neck, carrying into her head, overloading her senses with confusion, and pain as she failed to pull her head away. Her body felt cold from head to toe, and that presence she felt within her mind was stronger compared to earlier.\n\nIt crawled within her mind, finding every thought that flashed within her psyche, and ripping them apart into nothingness. What was once a memory or thought quickly became a blank spot in her mind that was becoming increasingly prevalent. Emptiness began to reign, filling her eyes with an increasingly vacant look as her mind was torn to shreds. Tears welled and formed at the edges of her eyes. Her flesh started to burn from the inside, and her mind was becoming emptier with each passing second.\n\nSophie held her kiss upon the panda forcefully, not letting her body spasm her away from the pain. From the kiss. From the transformation. This was what she’d always done to interlopers like her.\n\nShe kept her eyes shut until the warmth that was upon her lips became cold and metallic like her own. She peeled them open slowly, finding that she was no longer lying upon an organic, and once defiant panda… but a robot in that very shell of looks. She pulled away; bloodstained clothes of the organic were no more, now plated and matching the color scheme of the castle and guard. Her modified robotization virus had done its work to yet another ‘hero’.\n\nSophie left the plug in, ripping the rest of the memories to shreds in her mind’s eye with a sinister smile. She watched the whites of the panda’s eyes change to black. Blue irises changed to purple, and her body had adopted a shine and sheen akin to polished metal and latex.\n\nSoon satisfied, Sophie pulled the plug on the robot lying beneath her. Its eyes remained vacant, staring at nothing. Not even at its ruler seated atop it. \n\nStanding up and back, Sophie put a hand to her chin and examined the once hero lying before her. Her armor had been altered, matching the castle’s theme in color in design, but with a twist. A short skirt, and a tasteful pair of metallic boots with darker, and lighter highlights of purple to it with a hint of silver showed that she was no mere guard like the rest: she was a maid, ready and willing to serve her Queen.\n\nWith the panda’s mind nothing more than robotics and pre-programmed orders and subroutines, Sophie couldn’t help but admire how she’d turned out as the very first maid of this castle. \n\nWatching the robot arise to its feet, attentive, and hands stiffly pointing to the floor, Sophie reached to her thigh as a slot opened. A plate of her sigil, matching the one emblazoned upon her crotch, was procured. Applying it to the panda’s forehead, showing where her allegiance now lied, she smiled as she then cupped the chin of the robotic maid, turning her chin to face her. “Now, S-44… you’ve done a considerable amount of damage to my castle during your disloyalty to me. You’ll be fixing the damages caused by your hands, and you’ll bring me your sword for safe keeping. I can’t let anyone be harmed by your careless actions any further~”\n\n-----\n\n‣ Art not by me.\n\n‣ Sophie (the gardevoir) belongs to their respective owner.\n\n‣ Latch belongs to me.\n\n-----\n\nCheck me out elsewhere on these sites:\n\nPatreon | FurAffinity | DeviantArt",
"description_bbcode_parsed": "<span style='word-wrap: break-word;'>The sky rumbled as dark clouds hung overhead.&nbsp;&nbsp;Flashes of lightning were witnessed as it forked through the clouds.&nbsp;&nbsp; It added to the ominous atmosphere of a castle that was in the heart of untamed land.&nbsp;&nbsp; It belonged to &ldquo; The Queen&rdquo; to which many surmised is responsible for the unusual weather throughout the area.&nbsp;&nbsp;Caught beneath an endless, dry thunderstorm, magenta colored fog lingered over the lowest points, and most aquatic points of the area.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />While the castle remained visible through the surrounding forest, a seemingly endless expanse of it, it was a tough journey to and from the castle perched within the wood.&nbsp;&nbsp; The journey itself, the unusual weather occurrences, and the threat that lay within the castle&rsquo;s walls were enough to deter both the smart, and the brave away from being foolhardy.&nbsp;&nbsp; It wasn&rsquo;t always effective however.<br /><br />A druidic panda had found her way through.&nbsp;&nbsp; She remained undeterred despite the journey, despite the weather, and despite the sentries she met along the way.&nbsp;&nbsp; She made it through, and stood at the drawbridge that&rsquo;d take her across, to the large double doors that awaited her, and into the castle.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />The spires positioned around the castle&rsquo;s walls and battlements lacked a distinctive presence upon them: there were no archers to keep watch.&nbsp;&nbsp;Unmistakable in their form with their metallic bodies reflecting the flashes of light from above, and always giving the impression of someone watching.&nbsp;&nbsp; They had keener eyes than their footsoldier counterparts.<br /><br />Despite there being a distinct lack of archers, guards nonetheless patrolled the walls and spires.&nbsp;&nbsp; Some stared down at the panda while others vanished into the castle.&nbsp;&nbsp; All were clad in medieval gear, sporting similar weapons of the era despite being robots.&nbsp;&nbsp; They had little quirks to each of them, mainly with the footsoldiers being far more durable than that of the archers.<br /><br />&ldquo;Looks like they were expecting me,&rdquo; Latch mused.&nbsp;&nbsp; The faded green shawl she wore came off, dropped onto the dirt as she clapped dirt, and dust off her gloves.&nbsp;&nbsp;A blue cheongsam was revealed, trimmed with gold as rough looking leather on her forearms, and legs were exposed.&nbsp;&nbsp;Padded bits of leather were strapped to her right shoulder, colored white, golden, and brown.&nbsp;&nbsp; She breathed a heavy sigh, and rolled her shoulders, then her head to loosen up.<br /><br />Her hands then went to her waist and undid the straps to her scabbard, tied to the cloth band around her waist.&nbsp;&nbsp; Her sword was withdrawn and the scabbard was swiftly tossed aside, into the waters below.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Heavily armored though,&rdquo; she mumbled, twirling her blade in a quick flourish to let muscle memory kick itself into gear once more.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Shouldn&rsquo;t be hard to deal with them, so long as there aren&rsquo;t any archers about.&rdquo;<br /><br />Tightening the grip around her straight sword, the panda plodded across the bridge.&nbsp;&nbsp;Neither knights, nor grunts pushed open the door to stop her.&nbsp;&nbsp; To her astonishment, it was left unlocked.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />The double doors parted as she wedged her sword in, then her hand, using a bit of the vines hidden beneath her clothing, to take their strength.&nbsp;&nbsp; What was a struggle, became questionably easy as she drew the doors open.&nbsp;&nbsp; She was allowed further entry without contest.<br /><br />Walls flanked her as she entered, stone, and gray to her left and right.&nbsp;&nbsp; The walls quickly opened up, becoming a courtyard with wagons, an unused stable, and what looked like a small area looking like a smithy of some sort.&nbsp;&nbsp;Throughout the area, she could see several guards positioned throughout, some on and heading up a set of stairs to wooden catwalks, and others on the ground patrolling.<br /><br />Her moment of uncontested entry was now over.<br /><br />She locked eyes with one of the guards, their eyes glowing a pale purple, and their armor having a distinctive purple and blackish coloration to their armor.&nbsp;&nbsp;He-... it reached for a mace, and shield nearby.&nbsp;&nbsp; Two other guards caught on in seconds, despite the distance between them.&nbsp;&nbsp; One at the bottom of the stairs, and another that was looking to resume a route inside, drew their weapons.&nbsp;&nbsp;Their voices were in synchronicity.<br /><br />&ldquo;Halt!&rdquo; They barked.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; In the name of her grace!&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />Armor clinked and rumbled as the robots trudged to the panda.&nbsp;&nbsp; They surrounded her, two positioning themselves just beyond her peripheral to her left and right, and one off-center in front of her.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />The panda&rsquo;s eyes carried over, and up the staircase.&nbsp;&nbsp; The forms upon them were no more, but a trio of robots now presented themselves against the railings, just beneath the overhang above their heads.&nbsp;&nbsp;Their gazes were fierce, but they remained observant, clutching their left arms for some unknown reason.&nbsp;&nbsp; These were no ordinary archers she met out in the woods...<br /><br />&ldquo;Identify yourself!&rdquo; The three guards before the panda barked again, trying to get her attention.<br /><br />Latch cocked her head, bemused. &ldquo; This is&hellip; Queen Sophie&rsquo;s castle?&rdquo; She asked aloud, staring at the guard in front of her, noting his plated armor.&nbsp;&nbsp; Her sword was angled towards the ground, her arm hanging behind her with it.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />&ldquo;Identify yourself!&rdquo; The guards repeated.&nbsp;&nbsp;Clicks were heard as plates were adjusted.&nbsp;&nbsp; The other robots upon the battlements had an eerie glow to their eyes now.&nbsp;&nbsp; How threatening.<br /><br />&ldquo;No, I won&rsquo;t.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The panda swiveled her head from left to right, noting the positions of the other two guards behind her... and charged at the one in front of her.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />A shield was raised to stop her, and the mace was raised behind the robot for a strike.&nbsp;&nbsp; The panda put her weight and a braced arm against the shield, maneuvering herself out of the way as she rolled across it.&nbsp;&nbsp;Momentum carried her to the edge, and with one fluid motion, she exchanged hands with her sword, and whipped her sword around as she no longer was pushing the robot back.&nbsp;&nbsp;Stumbling back a couple steps, she witnessed her handiwork: a clean, and decisive strike that cleaved through the robot&rsquo;s neck.&nbsp;&nbsp; The robot&rsquo;s head hit the soil with a clattering of its helm.<br /><br />Sparks flew, and her fur stood on end from the brief surge of electricity as she caught herself.<br /><br />When she turned around fully to ride out what remained of her momentum, she witnessed the robot&rsquo;s corpse hitting the soil, and the two still already positioning themselves to flank her from opposite sides.&nbsp;&nbsp; She glanced between them as they circled like hawks in perfect synchronicity again.&nbsp;&nbsp; The same trick wouldn&rsquo;t work twice; robots overanalyzed situations, so unpredictability was on her side.<br /><br />She focused, redirecting it to vines that were wrapped loosely around her beneath her clothing.&nbsp;&nbsp; She felt them wither, and in turn, she felt her a rush all throughout her body.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />She breathed out a sigh, and lunged for the one who circled around her left.&nbsp;&nbsp;Metal was bent, and her right hand held the top of the shield, crushing the metal between her fingers and thumb.&nbsp;&nbsp; The robot was straining against her, staring at her.&nbsp;&nbsp; Violet eyes glowed brighter, and its weapon, a sword, was brought down onto the panda.&nbsp;&nbsp; <br /><br />She pulled at the shield, not only taking it off, but the knight&rsquo;s arm off with it.&nbsp;&nbsp;Sparks flew anew, and the robotic knight seized for but a second.&nbsp;&nbsp; It was just enough time to act.<br /><br />She spun, and let loose the shield and its arm from her hand with a roar.&nbsp;&nbsp; The opposing knight was sent reeling from the impact, even destroying the motor and servos within the arm holding its shield.&nbsp;&nbsp; It now hung from bits of wire and loose bits of metal that kept it together, just barely. <br /><br />Her momentum finished carrying her around.&nbsp;&nbsp; Her upper half twisted while her lower remained rooted, canceling the twirl.&nbsp;&nbsp;Facing the now armless robot anew, it&rsquo;d recovered.&nbsp;&nbsp; It&rsquo;s eyes glowed and affixed onto the panda; it&rsquo;s sword, drawn back, was brought down with force.&nbsp;&nbsp; The panda countered, twisting her arm and wrist to bat away the strike with the flat side of her sword.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />She side-stepped, passing the strike off to the side as sparks flew from the grinding of metal.&nbsp;&nbsp; She pulled her arm back as the blade rattled down to her hand.&nbsp;&nbsp; She huffed, and jammed her sword into the open socket that was once its arm, blade then appearing from the side of the robot&rsquo;s neck.&nbsp;&nbsp; It spasmed in response, and its eyes lost its glow, flickering dimly.<br /><br />Pulling the sword out, a slice was followed up that took off the head, repeating the motions of the last robot as it soon fell over.&nbsp;&nbsp;Lubricant was flicked off, and the panda approached the other knight who was already on its feet again.&nbsp;&nbsp; The shield arm was hanging limp, having another shield partially imbedded in its own.<br /><br />The emotionless expression of the knight enlarged in view as it closed the gap.&nbsp;&nbsp; One slice, a thrust, another slice.&nbsp;&nbsp; The panda dodged, and weaved around the motions it gave with its sword.&nbsp;&nbsp; It attempted a headbutt, trying to stun the panda, but that only gave her the opportunity she needed as she drove the sword through its head at an angle.&nbsp;&nbsp; The purple lights died out, and it fell to the ground with the sword in it.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />Reaching to pull her sword free from the corpse, a searing pain pierced through her hand and reverberated up her arm.&nbsp;&nbsp; She recoiled her hand away instinctively, grimacing and seething.&nbsp;&nbsp; She whipped her head over to the battlements, all the while clutching her hand as blood flowed from the wound.&nbsp;&nbsp;A smoking barrel, coming from the arm of one of the robots, was seen.&nbsp;&nbsp; Its eyes glowed a dark shade of red.<br /><br />&ldquo;Killshots inadvisable; subdue intruder with non-lethal hits,&rdquo; the robot who&rsquo;d just shot, echoed.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />The panda clutched her right hand with a snarl.&nbsp;&nbsp; The other two machines had their left arms split open as a long barrel presented itself, now aimed at the panda.&nbsp;&nbsp; She blanched.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; You&rsquo;ve got to be kidding&hellip;&rdquo;<br /><br />Still having the strength, and speed coursing through her from her plants, she immediately bolted.&nbsp;&nbsp;Searing heat, and spikes of pain were felt across multiple points of her body, primarily her arms and legs as she sprinted across the courtyard.&nbsp;&nbsp; She aimed for the first door she saw, ignoring the pain spiking up all over her, and huffed.&nbsp;&nbsp; She braced her arms up as wood, stone, and metal had their finer details enlarged with each passing second.&nbsp;&nbsp; When it was close, she leapt, sending debris everywhere<br /><br />The world spun, and she tumbled. Rolling up against the wall, ramming a shoulder against it, she gasped, and slumped against&nbsp;&nbsp;it.&nbsp;&nbsp; Her everything ached, and her once dusty attire was now stained with an uncomfortable crimson.&nbsp;&nbsp; She groaned, and began to inspect herself.&nbsp;&nbsp;Several grazes, and two clean shots through her right leg.&nbsp;&nbsp; <br /><br />She focused again, and held her breath.&nbsp;&nbsp; The plants wrapped around her withered, becoming dust as wounds were closed, flesh was mended, and any damage done internally, was restored.&nbsp;&nbsp; She sighed, and got up, quickly noting she was in a long hall, and scanned up and down it as a few doors were scattered about in either direction.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />The two immediate paths available to her meant she had a choice, one she couldn&rsquo;t consider.&nbsp;&nbsp; The sounds of armor clunking and rattling from where she came from carried into the room.&nbsp;&nbsp; She glanced to her left, then her right.&nbsp;&nbsp; The closer corner she could round was to her left, with the right being a longer hall that led to an intersection.&nbsp;&nbsp; Her choice was already made.<br /><br />Rising to her feet, the panda sprinted, rounding the corner, and immediately putting herself into cover.&nbsp;&nbsp; The hall that awaited her was devoid of movement, save for the one butler tending to some plants within the hall, watering them, and spending a little too much time examining them.&nbsp;&nbsp;Once he was finished, he paused as it stared at the bloodied panda&rsquo;s outfit, and mended wounds.&nbsp;&nbsp; It locked eyes with her, stood stock still for a second, then ran.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />It rounded a corner of an intersection further up the hall, and a distant slamming of a door was heard further ahead.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />Beyond the minor interaction, and obstacle that handled itself, the hall would continued straight, leading to the intersection that the robot butler fled beyond.&nbsp;&nbsp;Doors were visible to her left and right along the way, and in peeking into each of them, empty bunks, sacks and crates of supplies, and locked doors were all that she was greeted with.&nbsp;&nbsp;Hiding in the former two to wait for things to pass was a non-option.<br /><br />Heading beyond the intersection, but not before taking a few of the plants with her by pulling them out by the roots, she broke right this time as she saw guards in the opposite hall, one door did stand out for the panda, forcing her to pause and give a few seconds to take it all in.&nbsp;&nbsp; It was nothing like she&rsquo;d seen before.&nbsp;&nbsp;Tech lines traced down it, colors being a distinctive purple, and darker gray.&nbsp;&nbsp; Her ears flicked, hearing the thunderous steps of guards quickling gaining ground on her.&nbsp;&nbsp; She didn&rsquo;t have time to examine it further.<br /><br />Breaking into a sprint, she was forced around a corner up the hall.&nbsp;&nbsp;Rounding it, she saw the opposite end of the hall, leading to another corner, further up ahead.&nbsp;&nbsp;Along the way, attached to the left side of her route, was an archway with an ornate set of double doors that stretched to the ceiling with the arches.&nbsp;&nbsp;A couple doors along the right side of the hall bore no fruit; locked, and showing no signs of opening without forced entry.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />She didn&rsquo;t want to accidentally corner herself in a dead end. <br /><br />Ignoring the ornate double doors of wood, she continued up the hall, and soon skid to a halt.&nbsp;&nbsp; Her ears flicked again, and thunderous steps echoed down the hall, coming her way.&nbsp;&nbsp; She looked back, seeing shadows cast along the wall from the opposite hall.&nbsp;&nbsp; She cursed, and backed to the ornate double doors.<br /><br />To her left and right, flanked on each side, the guards were coming closer and closer.&nbsp;&nbsp; Before she knew it, both sides demanded for her to stop.&nbsp;&nbsp;Their voices were once again at the same volume, and the same timing of delivery.&nbsp;&nbsp; The panda snorted, and stared at the double doors.&nbsp;&nbsp;Ornate as they were, she knew that beyond the doors were either the Queen of this castle herself, or some sort of grand hall within these aged walls.<br /><br />The plants around her withered, her body coursed with energy, and she stepped to the door.&nbsp;&nbsp; She pushed.&nbsp;&nbsp;Something was bumped, and pressed against on the other side.&nbsp;&nbsp; There was no time to consider her options.<br /><br />Raising her fist, she heaved it back, then arced it forward.&nbsp;&nbsp; She grit her teeth as she aimed for the center, where the wood met the metal, and where the metal met with the opposite door.&nbsp;&nbsp;A spike of pain coursed up her knuckles, and an explosive force blew the doors wide open.&nbsp;&nbsp; There was a shudder, and light groan from the structure; one of the doors embedded themselves into the wall from the sheer force of entry, the other flew, and left a trail of destruction in the form of holes, ruts, and debris from more of the knights until it hit the far wall of the chamber within.<br /><br />The panda walked in, greeting a formation of guards that awaited her.&nbsp;&nbsp; They were within a phalanx, now broken slightly, but quickly formed a less than tight variant of it.&nbsp;&nbsp; They&rsquo;d anticipated her to come this way.<br /><br />Behind her, guards formed a wall of bodies at the entrance of the room.&nbsp;&nbsp;Shoulder to shoulder, they prevented entry, and exit.&nbsp;&nbsp; She was surrounded.<br /><br />Latch cursed something beneath her breath, and looked up to the guards before her, noting that neither side, the front or back, had advanced upon her.&nbsp;&nbsp; The middle most, and a more ornate looking guard with some plates of gold mixed with the various shades of purple, spoke up. <br /><br />&ldquo;The Queen has demanded your presence.&nbsp;&nbsp;Your display of strength, skill, and agility has garnered her interest,&rdquo; it said coldly, cooly.&nbsp;&nbsp; The formation then opened up parting with an odd number of guards on both sides.&nbsp;&nbsp; They took several steps back, allowing her entry further into the room.<br /><br />Her gaze carried forward, and around the chamber.&nbsp;&nbsp; She noticed the pillars supporting the room, four on each side, and how one had been outright shattered from the door she sent across the room.&nbsp;&nbsp;Ahead of her, her eyes met with a plush looking carpet of purple and black, to a throne. A figure she didn&rsquo;t notice before was seated upon the throne; a monarch who&rsquo;d taken so many people before her.<br /><br />She was different from what she&rsquo;d normally seen: a purple spike protruding from her chest, and feet en pointe with heels to keep her aloft.&nbsp;&nbsp;A shiny choice of vestments was worn around the spike, leading to what looked like shining bits of cloth pooling at the foot of her throne.&nbsp;&nbsp;Purple eyes glowed, blinking, and showing immense life behind them.&nbsp;&nbsp; Everything about her was either purple, including her hair, to something off-purple -- faded, and with a bit of silver trimming.&nbsp;&nbsp; The one thing that stood out was the strange symbol upon her crotch, something she could barely see at a distance, including the black little spot above the chest spike.<br /><br />A clear, ornate wine glass was held in her hand.&nbsp;&nbsp; One leg crossed over the other, leaning on one of the armrests with her head in her hand, she idly swirled an oily black substance within her glass.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;<strong>Ah, finally,</strong>&rdquo; her voice boomed from everywhere, and nowhere at once; clear, despite the distance, &ldquo;<strong>the mouse has stepped closer to the cat~.&nbsp;&nbsp;Tell me, what brings you here all by yourself?</strong>&rdquo;<br /><br />Latch shut her eyes tight and shook her head.&nbsp;&nbsp; She felt something worming its way into her mind, something that wasn&rsquo;t supposed to be there.&nbsp;&nbsp; With her past experiences with psychics, she drew her thoughts elsewhere, of nonsense and idle dreams, distracting the presence.&nbsp;&nbsp;Without missing a beat, she raised her head up at the Queen.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I&rsquo;m here to put an end to your tyranny.&nbsp;&nbsp;I&rsquo;m here to free those that you&rsquo;ve enslaved, and to end your torment on the neighboring towns.&rdquo;<br /><br />The panda raised her right hand, flexing her first as she rubbed tenderly at the knuckles.<br /><br />The monarch broke into a guffaw.&nbsp;&nbsp; The liquid in her glass bobbed about as she rolled her head back in joviality at the notion.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;<strong>Yo- you can&rsquo;t be serious!</strong>&rdquo; She mocked with a titter.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;<strong>You&rsquo;re formidable on your own, but you&rsquo;re like all the rest who&rsquo;ve come before you.</strong>&rdquo;<br /><br />The Queen straightened herself up in her seat and set her glass aside.&nbsp;&nbsp; She looked across the room to the panda patiently.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;<strong>You&rsquo;ve come it end it in violence, yes?&nbsp;&nbsp;Like all the others tried to do?</strong>&rdquo;<br /><br />She stared hard across the room to the Queen.&nbsp;&nbsp; She ceased in nursing her knuckles and lowered her stance, putting her fists up in front of herself. &ldquo;Keen observation, Sophie&rdquo; she replied.<br /><br />&ldquo;<strong>Ahh, so you&rsquo;ll end it in violence then.&nbsp;&nbsp; How barbaric.</strong>&rdquo; Sophie stood up from her throne, taking a few short steps down to be at level with the rest of the room.&nbsp;&nbsp; She sauntered across the room, grinning with amusement.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;<strong>You&rsquo;ll need everything you have, and a little extra to go against me, so please, arm yourself~.</strong>&rdquo; She finished with a lilt to her voice.<br /><br />By the panda, a guard would step up, his face impassive and expressionless as he drew the sword from his scabbard.&nbsp;&nbsp; The silence was made all the more apparent as the clicking of the Queen&rsquo;s feet, and the shuffling of the panda were heard thereafter.&nbsp;&nbsp;Taking the sword, finding it to be lightweight, but not of remarkable quality upon brief inspection she tensed as the guard stood back up.&nbsp;&nbsp; Its face was unfocused on her, staring beyond the panda as it stepped back into its place in line.<br /><br />Facing the approaching Queen, Latch watched as a strange set of plugs had appeared behind her, wavering about.&nbsp;&nbsp;Thin, purple, and with silver spikes on the ends.&nbsp;&nbsp; They were curious as they were intimidating.<br /><br />Sophie was the one to close the gap, being on the offensive. One of the plugs lunged forward at the panda, patient, and waiting for the first strike.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />The sword was tucked close to her head, deflecting the spike off the angled blade and going by the wayside.&nbsp;&nbsp;Latch was nudged by the force, reacting with a straight kick that was aimed for Sophie&rsquo;s midsection.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />The Queen reached out, grabbing onto the ankle of the panda with a grin.&nbsp;&nbsp; As she was about to jab a spike in, the wayward spike she&rsquo;d briefly forgotten about had sparks fly.&nbsp;&nbsp; The sword in Latch&#039;s hand was now out alongside her, ready to be brought down with her fake out succeeding.<br /><br />A series of short pings echoed throughout the chamber, electricity crackling alongside it as the first of two spikes bounced, rolled, and eventually stopped upon the floor.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />Sophie sneered.&nbsp;&nbsp; Both of her hands grabbed a hold of the panda&rsquo;s ankle, pulling it upward.&nbsp;&nbsp; She watched as Latch&rsquo;s eyes went wide with surprise, tumbling her onto her back, head over heels with a grunt in front of the Queen.<br /><br />Eyes averting upward, Latch was met with the Queen lunging down upon her.&nbsp;&nbsp;A quick priming of her sword, angling it to meet her was far too staggered of a strike.&nbsp;&nbsp; It pushed off her plates, nicking her, but accomplishing nothing further.&nbsp;&nbsp; The immediacy of the weight that was upon her made her realize that her strength had waned almost entirely by now. <br /><br />Balling her left hand into a tight fist, despite feeling hands upon her shoulders, the panda pushed one off, freeing her left arm.&nbsp;&nbsp; She grit her teeth, and threw a heavy punch to the side of Sophie&rsquo;s head.&nbsp;&nbsp; The Queen blinked as her head was rocked, and the purple lights in her eyes flickered.&nbsp;&nbsp;A sizable dent was left behind, but it only succeeded in making the ruler more angry.<br /><br />&ldquo;<strong>How dare you&hellip;</strong>&rdquo; Sophie seethed, her eyes and attention refocusing down at the panda.<br /><br />The panda&rsquo;s hand shook as she stared defiantly up at Sophie.&nbsp;&nbsp; She grimaced, and was prepared to take the ruler down with her.&nbsp;&nbsp; She struggled below Sophie, shifting despite the metallic frame atop her.&nbsp;&nbsp; The sword was angled, and all she had to do was drive it through&hellip;<br /><br />A plug then lashed out, gripping Latch&rsquo;s right arm in a vice.&nbsp;&nbsp; It squeezed, and she gasped, moaning in pain as her head raised with it. <br /><br />Sophie listened and smiled as the panda cried out in pain as her wrist was twisted back, forcing her to drop the sword.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;<strong>A good try&hellip; better than most, but this changes nothing.</strong>&rdquo;<br /><br />With one arm bound, and the other suffering from the recoil of her hit, she was left at the mercy of the ruler.&nbsp;&nbsp; She could do nothing but cry out as her arm was twisted, and pain became prevalent once more.&nbsp;&nbsp; When she opened her eyes, she could see Sophie grinning down at her.&nbsp;&nbsp; She heaved through her teeth as her arm was pulled forcibly, stiff, and straight before the ruler, raising her head up to the robot.<br /><br />&ldquo;<strong>Now, I can&rsquo;t have you injuring yourself any further, so let&rsquo;s make sure you can&rsquo;t fight anymore, hm?</strong>&rdquo; She chided, her smile still remaining bright.&nbsp;&nbsp;Leaning in, she bit down into the panda&rsquo;s neck, forcing a chemical concoction into her system meant to numb her muscles.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />Seconds passed, and she pulled free, giggling down at the now defenseless panda.&nbsp;&nbsp; When she noticed the panda ceasing her struggles, incapable of controlling them any longer, she brushed a hand against the panda&rsquo;s cheek. &ldquo;<strong>I&rsquo;m so sorry it had to come to this, but you&rsquo;ve brought this on yourself.&nbsp;&nbsp; You&rsquo;ve lost, just like the rest,</strong>&rdquo; Sophie crooned.<br /><br />Latch struggled to mouth anything, finding even words hard to formulate beyond a discontented grunt.&nbsp;&nbsp; To her surprise, Sophie&rsquo;s arms held both sides of the panda&rsquo;s head tenderly, keeping it straight as she leaned in, eyes shut.&nbsp;&nbsp;Cold, metallic lips met her own, keeping her thoughts and body seized further with surprise.&nbsp;&nbsp; <br /><br />Latch grunted, sputtering into the kiss as her eyes widened.&nbsp;&nbsp;Pain came from the back of her neck, carrying into her head, overloading her senses with confusion, and pain as she failed to pull her head away.&nbsp;&nbsp; Her body felt cold from head to toe, and that presence she felt within her mind was stronger compared to earlier.<br /><br />It crawled within her mind, finding every thought that flashed within her psyche, and ripping them apart into nothingness.&nbsp;&nbsp; What was once a memory or thought quickly became a blank spot in her mind that was becoming increasingly prevalent.&nbsp;&nbsp;Emptiness began to reign, filling her eyes with an increasingly vacant look as her mind was torn to shreds.&nbsp;&nbsp;Tears welled and formed at the edges of her eyes.&nbsp;&nbsp; Her flesh started to burn from the inside, and her mind was becoming emptier with each passing second.<br /><br />Sophie held her kiss upon the panda forcefully, not letting her body spasm her away from the pain.&nbsp;&nbsp; From the kiss.&nbsp;&nbsp; From the transformation.&nbsp;&nbsp; This was what she&rsquo;d always done to interlopers like her.<br /><br />She kept her eyes shut until the warmth that was upon her lips became cold and metallic like her own.&nbsp;&nbsp; She peeled them open slowly, finding that she was no longer lying upon an organic, and once defiant panda&hellip; but a robot in that very shell of looks.&nbsp;&nbsp; She pulled away; bloodstained clothes of the organic were no more, now plated and matching the color scheme of the castle and guard.&nbsp;&nbsp; Her modified robotization virus had done its work to yet another &lsquo;hero&rsquo;.<br /><br />Sophie left the plug in, ripping the rest of the memories to shreds in her mind&rsquo;s eye with a sinister smile.&nbsp;&nbsp; She watched the whites of the panda&rsquo;s eyes change to black.&nbsp;&nbsp;Blue irises changed to purple, and her body had adopted a shine and sheen akin to polished metal and latex.<br /><br />Soon satisfied, Sophie pulled the plug on the robot lying beneath her.&nbsp;&nbsp; Its eyes remained vacant, staring at nothing.&nbsp;&nbsp; Not even at its ruler seated atop it.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />Standing up and back, Sophie put a hand to her chin and examined the once hero lying before her.&nbsp;&nbsp; Her armor had been altered, matching the castle&rsquo;s theme in color in design, but with a twist.&nbsp;&nbsp;A short skirt, and a tasteful pair of metallic boots with darker, and lighter highlights of purple to it with a hint of silver showed that she was no mere guard like the rest: she was a maid, ready and willing to serve her Queen.<br /><br />With the panda&rsquo;s mind nothing more than robotics and pre-programmed orders and subroutines, Sophie couldn&rsquo;t help but admire how she&rsquo;d turned out as the very first maid of this castle.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />Watching the robot arise to its feet, attentive, and hands stiffly pointing to the floor, Sophie reached to her thigh as a slot opened.&nbsp;&nbsp;A plate of her sigil, matching the one emblazoned upon her crotch, was procured.&nbsp;&nbsp;Applying it to the panda&rsquo;s forehead, showing where her allegiance now lied, she smiled as she then cupped the chin of the robotic maid, turning her chin to face her.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;<strong>Now, S-44&hellip; you&rsquo;ve done a considerable amount of damage to my castle during your disloyalty to me.&nbsp;&nbsp; You&rsquo;ll be fixing the damages caused by your hands, and you&rsquo;ll bring me your sword for safe keeping.&nbsp;&nbsp;I can&rsquo;t let anyone be harmed by your careless actions any further~</strong>&rdquo;<br /><br /><div class='align_center'>-----</div><br /><br />‣ Art not by me.<br /><br />‣ Sophie (the gardevoir) belongs to their respective owner.<br /><br />‣ Latch belongs to me.<br /><br /><div class='align_center'>-----</div><br /><br /><div class='align_center'><strong>Check me out elsewhere on these sites:</strong><br /><br /><a href=\"https://www.patreon.com/LatchieLatch\" rel=\"nofollow\">Patreon</a> | <a href=\"https://www.furaffinity.net/user/feyro/\" rel=\"nofollow\">FurAffinity</a> |&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href=\"https://www.deviantart.com/latchielatch\" rel=\"nofollow\">DeviantArt</a></div></span>",
