"description": "Oh-KAY, proper introductions time! Nearly two years post-conception.... XD XD\nStarting with his base underlying form and outfit!\n\n[i]Stories tell of him as \"The Thief of the World Tree\", a mischievous godling who fled the realm of the gods with stolen treasures of legend, a creature that roams the world even now, yet to be caught by the gods he betrayed.[/i]\n\nOr at least, that's kind of the concept? Hard to say how well that's played out? XD But I gotta keep within the rules somehow and-- it took a year and a half for the game to start so... plans got muddle and evolved, etc, etc... XD XD While I am playing an actual class, Relic Channeler, a variant of the Medium class, the Relics/Totems I started with and have been finding over time are all home-brewed by the GM to fit my motif. Aaand because obviously it'd be a bit unfair for a player to be playing a literal god, lols, he's otherwise being played as a typical 'furfolk' archtype using stats Stank made for another game... aaaand we've logic'ed out his loss of power and immortality to the fact that he's cut himself off from Yggdrasil, which, in my mind, is where he'd have gained his more otherworldly aspects.\n\nThe name Taro Stark is a \"cover\" that I thought would be clever and no one would catch on to. Like, I thought about randomly grabbing the names of popular squirrels from literature and interchanging them on the fly, but that would have stood out too much. Instead, I hid things in plain sight where nobody would think to look.... because Taro Stark is just an anagram of Ratatoskr. XD\n\n----\n\nWhile the base ref shows the few items Taro is generally considered to [i]always[/i] be wearing, this one shows the outfit that he wears as part of his glamour... will post that in a moment...\n\nAs much as Taro likes to stand out and draw attention, he's still incredibly paranoid and wants to keep certain things under wraps... especially some of his more stand-out features that could more directly identify him to anyone well enough within the know. So Taro usually goes around and was introduced to the party under a Glamour spell/effect, which hides his true appearance and makes him look like a \"normal human\" to anyone other than himself. It's a more powerful than normal illusion, so it manages to cover for a lot of things, including the fact the human glamour is taller than he actually is...\n\nIn particular though, the human form wears a particular set of clothes... and to help maintain the disguise, Taro obtained a matching set of the clothing to have on standby in case he needs it. So while he isn't always wearing these clothes, he at least has them, so he can pull them out when needed or leave them lying about when he's \"not wearing them\" so as not to stress the limits of the illusion effects. The real clothes ARE fit to his actual size and not his glamoured size however, so anyone actually investigating them might notice the deviation... though he'd probably claim the clothing was magical and adjusted to his size when worn? XD Because he is a liar.\n\n---\n\nReference for Taro's human form/glamour... and comparative size reference. The Glamour shows him to be around 5'6\", while his actual height is only 4'0\"... which has led to some amusing pre-reveal teases, like when I approached a particular merchant at the fair and she \"looked up at me\" and I \"looked up at her\" and nobody questioned this exchange. XD\n\nOr how I was constantly \"adjusting my belt\" which actually meant I was shifting the position of my tail so it wouldn't get stepped on by my party members who couldn't see it and were walking behind me. And the will save I had to make once not to scream when the giant fucking badger lady stepped on it.\n\nThe glamour is potent, but still not perfect... it's illusion after all, not transformation... so I was constantly having to be really careful especially when anyone was making direct contact with me. When the character was finally revealed, after getting knocked out in a tournament (breaking the spell concentration)... it was actually another party member I was fighting with, and the GM had hinted to them something was up given they literally bit me a few times and \"they tasted fur\"... Starting with his base underlying form and outfit!

Or at least, that's kind of the concept? Hard to say how well that's played out? XD But I gotta keep within the rules somehow and-- it took a year and a half for the game to start so... plans got muddle and evolved, etc, etc... XD XD While I am playing an actual class, Relic Channeler, a variant of the Medium class, the Relics/Totems I started with and have been finding over time are all home-brewed by the GM to fit my motif. Aaand because obviously it'd be a bit unfair for a player to be playing a literal god, lols, he's otherwise being played as a typical 'furfolk' archtype using stats Stank made for another game... aaaand we've logic'ed out his loss of power and immortality to the fact that he's cut himself off from Yggdrasil, which, in my mind, is where he'd have gained his more otherworldly aspects.
The name Taro Stark is a "cover" that I thought would be clever and no one would catch on to. Like, I thought about randomly grabbing the names of popular squirrels from literature and interchanging them on the fly, but that would have stood out too much. Instead, I hid things in plain sight where nobody would think to look.... because Taro Stark is just an anagram of Ratatoskr. XD

While the base ref shows the few items Taro is generally considered to always be wearing, this one shows the outfit that he wears as part of his glamour... will post that in a moment...
As much as Taro likes to stand out and draw attention, he's still incredibly paranoid and wants to keep certain things under wraps... especially some of his more stand-out features that could more directly identify him to anyone well enough within the know. So Taro usually goes around and was introduced to the party under a Glamour spell/effect, which hides his true appearance and makes him look like a "normal human" to anyone other than himself. It's a more powerful than normal illusion, so it manages to cover for a lot of things, including the fact the human glamour is taller than he actually is...
In particular though, the human form wears a particular set of clothes... and to help maintain the disguise, Taro obtained a matching set of the clothing to have on standby in case he needs it. So while he isn't always wearing these clothes, he at least has them, so he can pull them out when needed or leave them lying about when he's "not wearing them" so as not to stress the limits of the illusion effects. The real clothes ARE fit to his actual size and not his glamoured size however, so anyone actually investigating them might notice the deviation... though he'd probably claim the clothing was magical and adjusted to his size when worn? XD Because he is a liar.

Reference for Taro's human form/glamour... and comparative size reference. The Glamour shows him to be around 5'6", while his actual height is only 4'0"... which has led to some amusing pre-reveal teases, like when I approached a particular merchant at the fair and she "looked up at me" and I "looked up at her" and nobody questioned this exchange. XD
Or how I was constantly "adjusting my belt" which actually meant I was shifting the position of my tail so it wouldn't get stepped on by my party members who couldn't see it and were walking behind me. And the will save I had to make once not to scream when the giant fucking badger lady stepped on it.
The glamour is potent, but still not perfect... it's illusion after all, not transformation... so I was constantly having to be really careful especially when anyone was making direct contact with me. When the character was finally revealed, after getting knocked out in a tournament (breaking the spell concentration)... it was actually another party member I was fighting with, and the GM had hinted to them something was up given they literally bit me a few times and "they tasted fur"... XD
