But then, Boomer and Rang's stomachs started growling.\n\nBoomer: All this bouncing around has made me hungry.\n\nRang: Well there has to be food around here.\n\nJust then, Boomer and Rang smelled something really good.\n\nRang: I smell something delicious.\n\nBoomer: Me too. Let's follow it.\n\nBoomer and Rang followed the smell all day. But when night hit, the two kangaroos were tired and so hungry, that they could hardly move. But Rang smelled the delicious smell again.\n\nRang: That smell. There it is again. It's close.\n\nBut they soon found out they weren't in the outback anymore.\n\nRang: We're in the city.\n\nBoomer: Yes we are. (stomach growls) Aww. There definitely has to be food.\n\nBoomer was right. There were all kinds of places for food.\n\nBoomer: Alright. Yum yums, here we come come.\n\nBut Rang stopped her sister.\n\nRang: Hold on, Boomer. We can't be seen out here. We need disguises.\n\nThey snuck across the town to the cleaners. When they got there, there was laser beams. Luckily, there was a shut off switch near the door. So Boomer turned the lasers off and the two of them got into the dry cleaners. They found some nice disguises.\n\nBoomer: Now these will work.\n\nRang: Yeah. We look like nice women. Let's go.\n\nThey were off to find food. Then they smelled something again.\n\nRang: It's food.\n\nBoomer and Rang saw a wonderful pizza.\n\nBoth: (whispers): Pizza.\n\nBoomer: I have an idea. I pretend that I'm hurt real bad, while you sneak in and grab the pizza. Ow. That hurts really bad.\n\nSomeone came out to see the lady was okay. Rang snuck inside and grabbed the pizza. And Boomer stopped pretending to be hurt and followed her.\n\nRang: I got it. Let's eat.\n\nBoomer and Rang ate the slices of pizza down to the last slice. And their bellies got big. They both grabbed the last slice, but a bird swooped down and took it.\n\nBoomer: Hey. That was ours. Dang it.\n\nRang: Now what? (Sniffs)\n\nRang smelled some more food.\n\nRang: More food, Boomer. Follow me.\n\nThey hopped all the way to the smell. It was burgers and fries. They smelled something else, it was tacos. They also smelled cinnamon rolls, and pie.\n\nBoomer: Rang. Is this paradise I'm smelling right now?\n\nRang: Nope. It's the food. Let's eat, again.\n\nThey gathered a lot of food.\n\nRang: This is a lot. You know what let's take some home and eat some now.\n\nBoomer: I don't know if this will be easy to carry all this. So, we better store it.\n\nRang: Yeah. But where?\n\nBoomer: In our pouches, Rang.\n\nRang: You're right. We have pouches.\n\nSo Boomer and Rang stored some of the food in their pouches, and ate some now. They were full, that they need a nap. The two kangaroos layed near the dump for a nap. But when Boomer and Rang woke up, they felt something wasn't right.\n\nRang: Boomer, wake up. Something is not right.\n\nBoomer: You're right. Something or someone is in our pouches.\n\nThey both looked in their pouches. Then they saw that their food was being stolen by some dogs. It was Jackie, Doris, Newf, Scooter, Tako, Gilroy Pupkins, Zip, Zop, Zap.\n\nRang: Hey, back off. This is our food.\n\nBoomer: Yeah. We don't want to use our hind legs to kick you. We will if we have to though.\n\nScooter: (yells) Sorry about that.\n\nDoris covered Scooter's mouth to keep her quiet.\n\nBoomer: Shh. Why are you yelling?\n\nTako: She does that when she gets super excited. Name's Tako by the way. This is Jackie, Scooter, Newf, Doris, Gilroy Pupkins, Zip, Zop and Zap.\n\nRang: Please to meet you all. I'm Rang. This is my sister, Boomer.\n\nZip: Please to meet you too.\n\nBoomer: Likewise, mate. But why were you stealing our food?\n\nJackie: Sorry. We smelled the yummy food smell which led us here, to you.\n\nZap: So we decided to take some.\n\nGilroy Pupkins: That's right. By the way, speaking of smelled, do you mind if we sniffed you?\n\nRang: That sounds nice. Please understand and forgive us.\n\nThey all made puppy eyes.\n\nBoomer and Rang: Awwwww. That's so cute.\n\nRang: Alright. We forgive you mates. But next just wake us up and ask.\n\nBoomer: Yeah. Tell me did you see anyone sneak out?\n\nSoufflé: No. They must have gotten away before we got here.\n\nHaven: Don't worry, Soufflé. We'll check inside.\n\nHaven sniffed, and then she found a clue.\n\nHaven: Aha. (Barks)\n\nOfficer Megan: What is it, Haven? Hmm. Interesting.\n\nBaker: What? But then, Boomer and Rang&#039;s stomachs started growling.<br /><br />Boomer: All this bouncing around has made me hungry.<br /><br />Rang: Well there has to be food around here.<br /><br />Just then, Boomer and Rang smelled something really good.<br /><br />Rang: I smell something delicious.<br /><br />Boomer: Me too. Let&#039;s follow it.<br /><br />Boomer and Rang followed the smell all day. But when night hit, the two kangaroos were tired and so hungry, that they could hardly move. But Rang smelled the delicious smell again.<br /><br />Rang: That smell. There it is again. It&#039;s close.<br /><br />But they soon found out they weren&#039;t in the outback anymore.<br /><br />Rang: We&#039;re in the city.<br /><br />Boomer: Yes we are. (stomach growls) Aww. There definitely has to be food.<br /><br />Boomer was right. There were all kinds of places for food.<br /><br />Boomer: Alright. Yum yums, here we come come.<br /><br />But Rang stopped her sister.<br /><br />Rang: Hold on, Boomer. We can&#039;t be seen out here. We need disguises.<br /><br />They snuck across the town to the cleaners. When they got there, there was laser beams. Luckily, there was a shut off switch near the door. So Boomer turned the lasers off and the two of them got into the dry cleaners. They found some nice disguises.<br /><br />Boomer: Now these will work.<br /><br />Rang: Yeah. We look like nice women. Let&#039;s go.<br /><br />They were off to find food. Then they smelled something again.<br /><br />Rang: It&#039;s food.<br /><br />Boomer and Rang saw a wonderful pizza.<br /><br />Both: (whispers): Pizza.<br /><br />Boomer: I have an idea. I pretend that I&#039;m hurt real bad, while you sneak in and grab the pizza. Ow. That hurts really bad.<br /><br />Someone came out to see the lady was okay. Rang snuck inside and grabbed the pizza. And Boomer stopped pretending to be hurt and followed her.<br /><br />Rang: I got it. Let&#039;s eat.<br /><br />Boomer and Rang ate the slices of pizza down to the last slice. And their bellies got big. They both grabbed the last slice, but a bird swooped down and took it.<br /><br />Boomer: Hey. That was ours. Dang it.<br /><br />Rang: Now what? (Sniffs)<br /><br />Rang smelled some more food.<br /><br />Rang: More food, Boomer. Follow me.<br /><br />They hopped all the way to the smell. It was burgers and fries. They smelled something else, it was tacos. They also smelled cinnamon rolls, and pie.<br /><br />Boomer: Rang. Is this paradise I&#039;m smelling right now?<br /><br />Rang: Nope. It&#039;s the food. Let&#039;s eat, again.<br /><br />They gathered a lot of food.<br /><br />Rang: This is a lot. You know what let&#039;s take some home and eat some now.<br /><br />Boomer: I don&#039;t know if this will be easy to carry all this. So, we better store it.<br /><br />Rang: Yeah. But where?<br /><br />Boomer: In our pouches, Rang.<br /><br />Rang: You&#039;re right. We have pouches.<br /><br />So Boomer and Rang stored some of the food in their pouches, and ate some now. They were full, that they need a nap. The two kangaroos layed near the dump for a nap. But when Boomer and Rang woke up, they felt something wasn&#039;t right.<br /><br />Rang: Boomer, wake up. Something is not right.<br /><br />Boomer: You&#039;re right. Something or someone is in our pouches.<br /><br />They both looked in their pouches. Then they saw that their food was being stolen by some dogs. It was Jackie, Doris, Newf, Scooter, Tako, Gilroy Pupkins, Zip, Zop, Zap.<br /><br />Rang: Hey, back off. This is our food.<br /><br />Boomer: Yeah. We don&#039;t want to use our hind legs to kick you. We will if we have to though.<br /><br />Scooter: (yells) Sorry about that.<br /><br />Doris covered Scooter&#039;s mouth to keep her quiet.<br /><br />Boomer: Shh. Why are you yelling?<br /><br />Tako: She does that when she gets super excited. Name&#039;s Tako by the way. This is Jackie, Scooter, Newf, Doris, Gilroy Pupkins, Zip, Zop and Zap.<br /><br />Rang: Please to meet you all. I&#039;m Rang. This is my sister, Boomer.<br /><br />Zip: Please to meet you too.<br /><br />Boomer: Likewise, mate. But why were you stealing our food?<br /><br />Jackie: Sorry. We smelled the yummy food smell which led us here, to you.<br /><br />Zap: So we decided to take some.<br /><br />Gilroy Pupkins: That&#039;s right. By the way, speaking of smelled, do you mind if we sniffed you?<br /><br />Rang: That sounds nice. But we&#039;re kangaroos, not dogs.<br /><br />Doris: We know your kangaroos and not dogs.<br /><br />Rang: And what&#039;s that suppose to mean?<br /><br />Doris: Not to be rude. But you&#039;re not dogs. But hey, we got to sniff everyone and everything, right?<br /><br />So they sniffed each other.<br /><br />Newf: Okay. You two smell like the food we ate. <br /><br />Zip: Yeah. Like, pizza, burgers, fries, tacos, cinnamon rolls and pie.<br /><br />Scooter: But, were sorry for stealing. We were just hungry. That&#039;s all.<br /><br />Zop: Really sorry. Please understand and forgive us.<br /><br />They all made puppy eyes.<br /><br />Boomer and Rang: Awwwww. That&#039;s so cute.<br /><br />Rang: Alright. We forgive you mates. But next just wake us up and ask.<br /><br />Boomer: Yeah. We don&#039;t mind. We love sharing. Except we were also hungry, so we came all the way here, but a bird stole our last slice of pizza after we used disguises to get them, and now our bellies aren&#039;t big anymore.<br /><br />Gilroy Pupkins: Girl, now that is really cool.<br /><br />Doris: But we&#039;re still hungry.<br /><br />Boomer: Well, you all kind of snuck in our pouches and ate everything.<br /><br />Dogs: Sorry.<br /><br />Rang: That&#039;s okay. We&#039;ll find more.<br /><br />Scooter: Pawsome. But how. Oh, with our noses.<br /><br />They all started sniffing. Jackie smelled something.<br /><br />Jackie: Hey. I smell cake.<br /><br />Tako: It&#039;s this way.<br /><br />Zip, Zop and Zap&#039;s paws were tired.<br /><br />Boomer: Are you three okay?<br /><br />Zap: Yeah. But our paws can&#039;t run that long.<br /><br />Boomer: Hey. You three can ride in our pouches.<br /><br />Zip: Really? Thanks.<br /><br />Rang: Well, mates, hop in.<br /><br />Zip, Zop and Zap hopped in Boomer and Rang&#039;s pouches and they loved it.<br /><br />Rang: You three doing okay?<br /><br />Zop: Yeah. We&#039;re okay in here.<br /><br />Zip: I feel cozy in here.<br /><br />Zap: Pawsome. I feel like a joey.<br /><br />Rang: Now hang in there, this might get bumpy for you.<br /><br />They set off for the cake shop.<br /><br />Newf: (sniffs) It&#039;s this way. Come on.<br /><br />Zap, Zip and Zop were having fun.<br /><br />Zap: This is pawsome.<br /><br />Zip: Higher. Higher.<br /><br />Zop: I think I&#039;m going to be sick. But I don&#039;t care.<br /><br />They finally made it to the bakery.<br /><br />Scooter: (yells) We&#039;re here.<br /><br />Everyone: Shh.<br /><br />Scooter: (whispers) Sorry. I mean we&#039;re here.<br /><br />Gilroy Pupkins: Great. Door&#039;s locked.<br /><br />Boomer: Allow us. Ready, Rang?<br /><br />Rang: I was born ready, Boomer.<br /><br />Boomer and Rang used their hind legs and kicked the door down.<br /><br />Rang: We&#039;re in.<br /><br />They looked around for the best cake.<br /><br />Tako: Hmm. Let&#039;s take this one.<br /><br />Rang: Now let&#039;s get out of here before---<br /><br />(alarm sirens)<br /><br />Rang: the alarm goes off.<br /><br />Doris: Let&#039;s go, quick.<br /><br />They all ran out and went as far to get away from the bakery. They went to the park.<br /><br />Zap: That was crazy. It&#039;s a good thing no one saw us.<br /><br />Doris: Now, let&#039;s enjoy this cake.<br /><br />They each took a slice of cake. And when they ate it, all their bellies were full and big.<br /><br />Rang: That was really good. Look, all our bellies are big.<br /><br />Newf: They sure are. It&#039;s feels wonderful.<br /><br />Tako: Yep. I think mine&#039;s like you.<br /><br />Gilroy Pupkins: You better believe it. So does mine.<br /><br />Scooter: Hey, guys. Belly fight.<br /><br />They started bumping their bellies against each other.<br /><br />Boomer: I wish this would never stop.<br /><br />Rang: We love you guys.<br /><br />Doris: We love you too.<br /><br />Tako: Yeah. Like I said, our like each other too.<br /><br />Scooter: Group hug and belly hug.<br /><br />Everyone: Aww.<br /><br />They all hugged each and pressed each other&#039;s bellies against each other&#039;s. Just then, they heard police car sirens. They all went and hid. The police drove by them.<br /><br />Jackie: Uh-oh. The police.<br /><br />Zip: It&#039;s a good thing they didn&#039;t see us. Otherwise, we&#039;re in trouble.<br /><br />When morning hit, the police were investigating the bakery.<br /><br />Officer Megan: Can you tell us what happened?<br /><br />Baker: Well, I was at home asleep. When I heard an alarm. So went to check on the bakery.<br /><br />Souffl&eacute;: When we came, we saw that one of our cakes were gone. Which means someone broke last night.<br /><br />Haven: Okay. Calm down, ma&#039;am. Tell me did you see anyone sneak out?<br /><br />Souffl&eacute;: No. They must have gotten away before we got here.<br /><br />Haven: Don&#039;t worry, Souffl&eacute;. We&#039;ll check inside.<br /><br />Haven sniffed, and then she found a clue.<br /><br />Haven: Aha. (Barks)<br /><br />Officer Megan: What is it, Haven? Hmm. Interesting.<br /><br />Baker: What? What did you find?<br /><br />Officer Megan: Sir, it looks like you got some hungry animals. Look at this.<br /><br />Officer Megan showed some them fur.<br /><br />Souffl&eacute;: Animals were in here?<br /><br />Haven: Yep. Because not only did I find fur, I also found this.<br /><br />Haven showed them some frosting spilled on the floor.<br /><br />Officer Megan: That&#039;s it. We&#039;ll have to put a safety perimeter around here and have this mess cleaned up.<br /><br />The police left. But the dogs and kangaroos heard everything.<br /><br />Scooter: I didn&#039;t think this would cause that much.<br /><br />Doris: And I feel bad about it.<br /><br />Newf: We all should be ashamed of ourselves.<br /><br />Jackie: That&#039;s okay. Maybe if we tell Haven the whole truth, then she&#039;ll understand.<br /><br />So they told Haven to meet them at dog park. Soon, she got there as quick as she could.<br /><br />Haven: You told me to meet you all here. So what&#039;s going on?<br /><br />Tako: Look. I don&#039;t know how to put this, but, it was us.<br /><br />Haven: What?<br /><br />Zap: Were the ones who took the cake. See. Look at our bellies.<br /><br />Haven: But why on earth would you all doing something like that?<br /><br />Boomer: Because we were hungry. We couldn&#039;t stop ourselves.<br /><br />Rang: But we see now that we made a mistake.<br /><br />Zop: Yeah.<br /><br />Zip: And were really sorry.<br /><br />Haven: Ah, don&#039;t worry. I won&#039;t press charges on you.<br /><br />Tako: Can we still make it up somehow?<br /><br />Haven: I don&#039;t know. Do you have any ideas?<br /><br />Rang: I think I have an idea. Everyone, huddle up.<br /><br />Rang explained her idea, and everyone agreed. So they went with the idea of fixing the bakery and baking a new cake.<br /><br />Scooter: And it&#039;s done. (laughs)<br /><br />Souffl&eacute;: Thank you all so much. The place looks wonderful. And the new cake looks magnificent.<br /><br />Newf: You know, just to make sure the cake is magnificent. We should test taste it.<br /><br />Doris: Newf.<br /><br />They all gave Newf a serious look.<br /><br />Newf: (laughs) I&#039;m just kidding.<br /><br />Everyone laughed.<br /><br />Zap: Um, Jackie.<br /><br />Jackie: Yes.<br /><br />Zap: Why is your belly still big?<br /><br />Jackie: Oh. That&#039;s because I having puppies.<br /><br />Everyone: What?<br /><br />Jackie: Yep. That&#039;s right. I got married to Dallie a few days ago.<br /><br />Dallie: That&#039;s right.<br /><br />Boomer: Congrats, you two.<br /><br />Dallie: Thank you very much.<br /><br />Jackie: Anyways. The pups aren&#039;t here yet. It&#039;s probably going to take few days or maybe they&#039;ll come early. So you&#039;ll need to be patient.<br /><br />All: Okay.<br /><br />Rang: So wait. That&#039;s why you took the food?<br /><br />Boomer: We&#039;re so sorry. We didn&#039;t know.<br /><br />Jackie: That&#039;s okay. Oh wait. I think they&#039;re here.<br /><br />Zop: We need to get her to the hospital, ASAP.<br /><br />Haven: Hop in. We&#039;ll give you ride.<br /><br />Newf: Thank you.<br /><br />Boomer and Rang put on more disguises to fit in.<br /><br />Boomer: Let&#039;s move.<br /><br />Haven showed Officer Megan that Jackie was having pups.<br /><br />Officer Megan: Alright. Let&#039;s get you to the hospital, girl.<br /><br />They drove all the way to the hospital, and Lizzie, the hospital dog was there.<br /><br />Lizzie: Why are there kangaroos here?<br /><br />Tako: We&#039;ll explain later.<br /><br />Doris: Yeah. Right now, Jackie needs help.<br /><br />Lizzie: Don&#039;t worry, Jackie. You&#039;re going to be okay.<br /><br />Jackie: Thank you, Lizzie.<br /><br />Lizzie: Alright, everyone. Just wait out here.<br /><br />Everyone: Okay.<br /><br />So Lizzie brought Jackie in the emergency room. While everyone else waited outside. Then after few hours, they were here. Everyone was asleep, until Lizzie came out.<br /><br />Lizzie: Wake up, everyone.<br /><br />Dallie: (yawns) Wait. Is Jackie okay?<br /><br />Lizzie: Yep. Then they saw six puppies, three dalmatians, and three jack russell terriers.<br /><br />All: Aww.<br /><br />Jackie: Hey, everyone.<br /><br />Dallie: I&#039;m so proud of you, hon. Are you okay?<br /><br />Jackie: Yes, dear. I couldn&#039;t be more proud than this.<br /><br />A few days later, Boomer and Rang went in disguise again, then ran into Jackie, Dallie, their puppies, Tako, Doris, Zap, Zip, Zop, Scooter, and Newf.<br /><br />Dallie: Hey there, Boomer and Rang.<br /><br />Boomer: Hi, guys.<br /><br />Rang: So how&#039;s everything been?<br /><br />Gilroy Pupkins: It&#039;s going good so far.<br /><br />Rang: How are your little ones doing?<br /><br />Jackie: Oh. They&#039;re getting good at fetch.<br /><br />Dallie: And we just named them. This is Jackson, Izzy, Jack, Don, Rosa, and Harriet.<br /><br />Puppies: Hello.<br /><br />Newf: Yeah. These puppies are getting good at fetch.<br /><br />Scooter: Hey, you wanna play with us?<br /><br />Rang: Sure.
