This is a project that I did for my Art History II class for my Spring semester. I was given the options to choose from when it came to doing this semester long project and I chose to cover a social issue. The social issue I chose was about rape. I want to make it extremely clear: I am completely against rape. This project was done in protest of this heinous crime that goes unnoticed, ignored and heavily under-reported. In related news, I was told by my college friends [that attended high-school with me] that our high school had four students involved in a rather violent rape [that had been recorded and the ones involved/in charge of orchestrating the rape shared it with friends] and it happened to be towards a 21 year-old female that was drugged and drunk, basically saying that she was unable to give consent or even resist because of the chemicals in her body. Later on it was revealed that eight other students were found through investigation to be associated with this crime. So that sums it up to 12 students from that high school. TWELVE!
