"description": "I had to color something that would relax me last week, it was a very long one (six days in a row, had to work extra after a coworker got hurt in an accident), I had to or I would've just artblocked and everything would've been terrible, I know it for a fact. The current week isn't looking too good so far (coworker still absent, massive workload looming on the horizon) but I will manage, sorry for waits. In this case I worked on a sketch that was years old and there it is. Hope you like.\n\nLogistics appear not to be the best in this part of the country, they sent 3 scout packs in the same area... not that they're crowded or anything, it's still a big area, but they were all told the area was all theirs, so finding out they had neighbors came as a bit of a surprise. Perhaps they need to take care of that in a grown civilized adult fashion and either learn how to cooperate and live next to each others, or decide who gets to stay through a well regulated competition.\n\nThat, or maybe they put all three in the same place on purpose to observe what happens and determine which model is better.\n\nEarning badges is no trouble for Nigel, usually. They tend to reward those who play safe. After all, would they like a repeat of unfortunate experiences of scouts putting themselves at risk for some petty distinctions? Surely not. This is a place for fun, not nasty injuries.\n\nBut when it comes to the Hunter's badge? Not sure if it's the fact he's a deer, but he feels like he has to put in extra effort and it's bothering him. He could try and focus on something else easier like archery for now, but Imbur already got that one, and is making headways for hunting with his web of snares; there's no way Nigel can let the rabbit beat him to that one too. Even if it means dozing off, bored out of his mind, watching the snares while all the others are having fun at the lake. Damn, these snares are boring... but it's now proven that they work well. All he needs is for one girl scout to step on it, then he'll carry her to camp all by himself and earn the damn thing. That's the only thing he really cares about really, he would even just let her go after he got his badge. Hell, if she was kind enough to let herself be captured he would return the favor and let her capture him so she could get the badge too.\n\nIt's as he's dreaming of proudly pinning a well deserved badge to his sash, that he's suddenly grabbed from behind; two pairs of hands tackle him into the bush where he's hiding, and keep him pinned down and muffled. Not good...\n\n“Perfect,” he hears one girl voice say, “two hunter's badges coming right up...”\n“Haha, yeah!”\nHis mind races; but he can't help but figure out the offer he thought about earlier is unlikely to work now. And before he can think of anything else to offer them in order to at least get out of this situation, one of the girls pulls his scarf up to his mouth and fastens it to gag him; the other one gets the band carrying his badges.\n\"Nice! she whispers, Look all the other rewards we've reaped!\"\n\"Nhgg! Mvf MHHHN!!\" poor Nigel protests. “HG GHG GH THGTH!!”\n\n She looks him up and down smiling, not moved by how upset he's getting, realizing he's about to lose his most prized possession. Instead it's giving her ideas.\n\"Hold him, we'll get his uniform too.\"\n“ALL of it?”\n“Yup.”\n\"HMMFG!??\" he squeals in disbelief. Not good... not good at all...\n\"Haha, why?\"\n\"We need to bring a prey's pelt as definite proof of capture...\" she responds, unbuckling his belt. “Remember what chief said? Once we get all their pelts they'd have no choice but to run home. One might argue that given the circumstances, it kind of was in a way. Even the deer, now silent, looking around anxiously, seemed to have at least accepted that his fate made sense. Or he's still trying to process it. Perhaps he just would rather not be seen like this by his friends. He'd never hear the end of it. But if he dared move past this fear, he'd be confronted to a much worse reality he'd have more trouble processing, which is why he doesn't. Maybe it was all a very bad dream and soon he would wake up still watching the snares. But that's just a theory.",
