That's not it, he's looking for someone in particular and documenting the quest/probable descent into madness. Basically it hit him like a ton of bricks the other day that he has no clue how to make friends and he's feeling lonely; what better way than to try and reconnect with some dude he used to know? Gael was the coolest. Always had the latest issue of Electrofox. The only problem is that the only two things he's got besides memories of the good times, is a first name and an approximate address in the city next door. Last name? He never thought last name would matter. By the time both their worlds got bigger, they had lost contact. Address? He went there once after Gael moved to Zenith – all he remembers is the building itself and how massive it is. So massive, he can see it from Berstow. He might've naively thought this would be enough. But there are multiple entrances each with its own intercom; dozens of names on each intercom; last names only; pin code required to get in... could he even recall a floor number?\n\nEven if he could ask a resident passing by to be let in. That would take ages. Only to go from floor to floor basically at random. And do that for each entrance, by the looks of it... and that's even if someone would let him in. They're tired of youth gangs around here, would probably rather call the cops on him for being a weirdo lingering around the building, supposedly looking for an ol friend, but you don't know the pin code, don't know even his last name... he's called Gael, raccoon (a raccoon in Zenith; do you have the slightest idea how little that narrows it down?), about that tall (would he even be this approximate height? Does he even have a clue?)... basically he's chasing ghosts. Maybe “I'm ghost hunting” would be a slightly more believable story. The alternative is barely less nightmarish : ringing every name on the intercoms and just ask for Gael. Be sent to hell probably a million times IF they even bother to respond.\n\nAnd even after all that, what are the odds that they still have anything in common? What are the odds he managed to finally find him – except his girlfriend opens the door, and he's got rid of all his nerdy comic book stuff years ago.
